00:00So I am here today to spell out how I plan to do things differently as Prime Minister in all
00:06parts of the UK.
00:07Taking power out of the centre and putting it in to places like this.
00:13Empowering people.
00:15Because that to me is just as important in Scotland as it is anywhere else in the UK.
00:22All of the nations that make up the UK, including Scotland, are too unequal internally.
00:31Like in England, public transport in Scotland is way better in the capital of Scotland than it is in any
00:39other city or town of Scotland.
00:42Or if you look at high streets, if you go to Edinburgh today, you'll see around 1 in 20 shops
00:47lying empty.
00:48But if you go to Dundee, it's more likely 1 in 5.
00:52Again, it's not an accident.
00:54It's what happens when too many of the good jobs go.
00:57When the spending power reduces.
01:00And then obviously the high streets suffer and the shops go.
