They are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers. When the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, is mentioned, they reject it. Their hearts close at the sound of divine mercy. Their disbelief is not intellectual — it is volitional, a chosen refusal.

Why do Trump mock Allah? Mockery is how the ego protects itself when truth threatens its false foundations. Trump ridicule because: Truth destabilizes their idols.
Light exposes their shadows. Mercy reveals their hardness. Ridicule is the ego’s last shield.

This is the deeper irony. They do not reject God because He is harsh.
They reject Him because He is Merciful.

Why?

Because mercy requires humility, and humility requires surrender —
and surrender is the one thing the ego cannot tolerate.

In closing The disbelievers here are not merely people —
they represent states of the heart:

The heart that mocks what it fears.

The heart that cannot bear the sound of Mercy because Mercy demands transformation.
