00:00If your thumbs slide off the stick mid-fight, you're not losing aim, you're losing grip.
00:04So I dug through hundreds of listings to find the best deals on the top 5 controller thumbstick
00:09grips for competitive gaming, and honestly, the cheapest one here shocked me. Let's get into it.
00:16Number 1, the 4-piece silicone gel thumb grip set, and it's only $2.89.
00:22The selling point is compatibility, PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim,
00:31it just goes on all of them. Nearly 4,900 units sold, 4.8 rating.
00:37If you own more than one controller or you're not sure what you even have,
00:41this is the no-brainer pack. 4 grips for under $3, you can't really lose.
00:47Number 2 is the 2-piece silicone booster cap set at $4.50, and it's the best-reviewed pick here
00:53at
00:534.9 with over 4,000 sold. These are extenders, so they raise your thumb higher off the stick,
00:59which gives you a longer arc and much finer control on small adjustments.
01:03That's the trick for tracking targets at distance instead of overshooting.
01:07If your aim feels twitchy, this is the one to grab.
01:11Number 3, Rocker Stick Extender Caps for $3.31, rated 4.9 with 3,600 units sold.
01:19These are the aggressive texture route deep silicone grip pattern so your thumb basically
01:23locks in place, plus the raised height for better leverage. Works across PS4, PS5, and Xbox.
01:31Best middle ground if you want extender height and grippy texture without paying more than $3.
01:37Number 4, the GameSir Joystick Caps at $9.34, priciest one here, and it earns it.
01:43You get three pairs of personalized caps with a smooth steel ring around the edge.
01:48That steel ring is the whole point, it cuts the friction at the outer rim so your stick glides
01:53through full rotations instead of grinding. Made specifically for the G7 Pro, G7 Pro 8K and Cyclone 2.
02:00Push 3,500 units at 4.9 stars for a reason, if you're on a GameSir pad, skip the generics.
02:08Number 5, the Data Frog Hi-Rise Galaxy Thumb Grips at $4.11, 4.9 stars, over 3,000 sold.
02:16Hi-Rise is right in the name, these sit at the tallest profile of anything on this list,
02:20so you get the most leverage and the smallest input-to-movement ratio.
02:25FPS-focused, Galaxy design on top, fits PS4 and Xbox One sticks.
02:30If you want maximum height without maximum price, this is it.
