🌀 Overview:
The Great and Powerful Genie is not your typical fantasy romance — and honestly, that's what makes it work.
Eli Baran is a genie trapped in a magic lamp for thousands of years. A dying billionaire uses his final wish to set him free — on one condition: Eli must marry the man's granddaughter, Christine Parrish, for five years. Eli becomes human, marries her, and secretly builds her into a CEO. She never notices. She ignores him, belittles him, takes him for granted. Five years of being invisible.
When Christine's old flame returns, Eli's heart finally breaks. Now he has a choice: stay and continue being her shadow, or walk away and finally live for himself. The ending is earned. ReelShort delivered another solid fantasy romance.
**✨ My honest take:**
What makes this one stand out is that Eli's sacrifice is real. He gave up immortality for a woman who couldn't even see him. Watching him finally choose himself at the end is genuinely satisfying. Eric Guilmette and Nikki Leigh have great chemistry. This one's worth your time if you're looking for something more emotional than the usual formula.
Am I the only one who thinks Christine didn't deserve him? She had five years and blew it. Let's talk in the comments.
