00:00who had a very difficult season last season in many ways,
00:03just in terms of frustration with injuries,
00:06and yet he played such an important part in the final third,
00:09didn't he?
00:09And this season he's really hit the ground running,
00:12and I guess it speaks to his mentality, his quality,
00:17you know, he's almost sometimes goes a little bit under the radar,
00:21a little bit under-appreciated,
00:22and just, you know, can you talk about maybe his mentality
00:26about everything else in the way that he just came through everything last season?
00:31He's so competitive, Kai.
00:32So an example, after the game he came in against Leeds,
00:35he made a massive impact, you could see straight away what he did on the pitch.
00:41He left the pitch and he was so upset he didn't score a goal.
00:44You know, he was happy, he helped the team, but so upset.
00:46And that's the guy that we want,
00:48he's a player that wants to evolve and improve every single day.
00:51He loves the game, he loves to learn,
00:53he loves to feel important,
00:56he loves to feel that he can help other players as well.
00:59It's a giver.
01:01And that's why, from a very difficult season,
01:04it was a long period of time for a nine to get back at the level,
01:08it's not easy and Sunday takes time,
01:09and Kai has done it almost immediately from pre-season.
01:12And I'm not surprised because his mentality stopped.
01:20I don't know, I don't know what your opinion is,
01:23but if you ask anybody in that building what you think of Kai,
01:27the first thing that is going to come is something positive for sure.
01:30So I don't have that impression and certainly I value him a lot.
01:34His radar seems a big thing, which is incredible.
01:38His football IQ, it's something else.
01:41He understands everything at such a speed
01:43and he can process information better than probably anybody else in the team.
01:49And that's something not easy to see, especially when we talk about a striker.
01:54Let's ask you, Miguel, Kai has only had one season
01:58where he scored 20 goals in his whole career.
02:01I know you described it as a giver, I think a big part of the game is bringing us in,
02:04but do you think he has that ability to be at 25, 30 goals in the striker?
02:08He has, I think he has, yeah.
02:11That's why he's playing there as well and that's why we sign him.
02:13I think he has it and he needs that volume of games and action.
02:19If you give him that, I am a big believer that yes, he can do that.
02:22I can just ask you one, obviously now you've got a run of games,
02:25five of them away from home, one at home.
02:28I know your big messaging has always been about our house.
02:31I just wonder how you can change the messaging now
02:33where you've got five games on the road
02:35and do you think the squad will most enjoy that
02:37going to someone else's house and trying to play it?
02:40Yeah, we do and we certainly have to enjoy it because it's what is coming.
02:45Just before the break we had four away games as well in a row
02:49and we dealt with them really well the first three
02:52and then we didn't against Brighton.
02:54So there is a lesson to learn there.
02:56We know the difficulty of the task and the kind of games
02:59that we're going to play for sure and let's go game by game.
03:02Thanks, everyone.
03:03Yeah.
03:04Thanks.
03:12Thanks, guys.
