00:00Rains coming down, gutters overflowing, and water pooling right against your foundation,
00:04sound familiar? Same problem every house on my street has, and honestly, the fix is cheaper
00:10than you'd think. I went through the listings and pulled the best deals for fix rainwater
00:15drainage with these downspout extensions, so stick around, because one of these five is going to be
00:20the one that actually fits your setup. First up is the extendable round downpipe, flexible,
00:25weather-resistant, and here's the part that got me, freeze-proof and explosion-proof.
00:30That's not marketing mumbo-jumbo either. It means when winter hits and the water inside freezes and
00:36expands, the pipe flexes instead of cracking. It runs $17.09, and with almost 5,000 sold at a 4
00:44.9
00:44rating, people clearly trust it. If you deal with real winters, this is the one I'd grab first.
00:51Next, the retractable rain gutter downspout extender. This one's adjustable, and it actually
00:57comes with the screws included, small thing, but you're not making a second trip to the hardware
01:01store. It's the cheapest of the group at $15.49, sitting at 4.6 stars with just over 4,800
01:09sold.
01:11Slightly lower rating than the others, but for anyone who wants to extend, retract, and store it
01:16away between storms, this is a solid pick. Third is the expandable flexible downspout extension pipe.
01:24Adjustable, fits home exteriors, and it's $12.47, cheapest one on this list.
01:30But don't let the price fool you, because it's holding a 4.9 rating with 4,677 sold.
01:37When nearly 5,000 people buy the cheapest option and still rate it that high, that tells you plenty.
01:42Great starter pick if you've never tried a downspout extension before.
01:47Number 4 is the Flexible PE Extendable Downspout Extender, built for round downspouts on outdoor
01:52velas. The PE material is the selling point, it holds its shape, handles sun and cold without
01:58getting brittle, and stays flexible season after season. $14.73, 4.9 stars, 4,643 sold.
02:08If you've got round downspouts and want something that just works without thinking about it,
02:13this is the middle of the road sweet spot. Last one, and it's the big one, the Flexible
02:18Gutter Downspout Extension in Thick PP, made for 3x4-inch downspouts for yard and foundation
02:23drainage. Thicker material, and it's rated a perfect 5 stars, the only one on this list
02:29with a flawless score. It's $22.23, and yes, that's the priciest, but if you've got standard
02:363x4 rectangular downspouts, this is the only one here that's built for you.
02:41Buy once, be done. All 5 links are in the description below,
02:45check which downspout shape you have before you order, because round and rectangular aren't
02:50interchangeable. If this saved you a soggy basement, hit that like button, and subscribe
