00:00Now, as far as the NFL is concerned, some big news in terms of injuries and returns yesterday.
00:04And this one is one of the more bizarre ones that I've seen, which is Josh Jacobs of the Green
00:09Bay Packers, Joe, appears to be ready to return.
00:12So most people who play fantasy have picked him up or stashed him, and he's going to be back.
00:18So he's off this exemption list.
00:21I know he's fighting to have this video or whatever happened not released.
00:25And so I suppose it just appears as though he's coming back and he's going to be the running back
00:30for the Packers, which, you know, on paper, I suppose, OK, that's fine.
00:34But, I mean, this story is just weird, like how he could just be exempt for six weeks.
00:39I mean, I suppose the NFL's maybe seen this video or something like that, because I can't imagine all of
00:44a sudden tomorrow video comes out and then the whole thing is put to bed and he's back out or
00:50not playing again.
00:51I don't know how this thing is going to end, but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see
00:54next week.
00:55Yeah, look, we've been around this block more than once, you and I, and I'm not pessimistic.
01:01I'm just realistic.
01:02If there's a video that they're trying to keep hidden, it seems like they want it hidden for some good
01:08reason.
01:09And if the NFL wants to get their hands on it, I think they're going to find a way to
01:13do that eventually.
01:14So my advice to everybody out there for a while now has been trade Josh Jacobs, because to me, you're
01:20in a situation that is still highly volatile.
01:22This notion that, okay, well, now he's off the exempt list.
01:25There's also been some reporting around the NFL Twitter sphere lately too, that the NFL is not done looking into
01:32this.
01:32And that's what worries me quite a bit.
01:34I mean, you could get Josh Jacobs returning, but also where are you at right now with your league?
01:39What's your record with Josh Jacobs stashed away on your bench?
01:42When did you do your draft?
01:43Did you get him for free?
01:44Or did you draft early before all this news happened in the first place?
01:47And you're not paying a high price for Josh Jacobs.
01:49So I think a lot of this is contextual about where you are right now in your fantasy football season
01:54and where you are with Josh Jacobs.
01:57And to me, it's still a very volatile stock that I personally would rather have.
02:00If you could flip him for a DJ more where people are very frustrated with him right now because of
02:04the injuries and he's got to buy next week and maybe he's not useful for you two weeks.
02:08I think I'd rather take that swing.
02:09I think I'd rather trade for a lottery ticket like Emeka Egbuka who with a returning Baker Mayfield, you know,
02:15there's still that hope that Egbuka can kind of rediscover himself a little bit and be the player you saw
02:21last year in the first six weeks of the season.
02:23So to me, I think there's some better risks than Josh Jacobs and Josh Jacobs.
