06:16Yes, sir.
06:45Alpha
07:08The recruits must rescue three hostages
07:12held in two buildings
07:14each team has five minutes
07:16before explosives are detonated.
07:19They must prioritize which rooms to search by spotting signs of life, clues that a room may be occupied.
07:29If Billy's just yelling in our ear, just eat it.
07:31Oh, yeah. Don't react.
07:33I just eat that crab.
07:34In the Marines, you are really pushed to your limits. It's very similar to this course. I may have a
07:40small edge over the other recruits.
07:42Let's go, Alpha!
07:43First, Team Alpha, led by number two comedian Hannah Stocking, who the DS suspect is not taking the course seriously.
07:52Where's your team, Dipsy?
07:53She must now prove herself by commanding her team.
07:56I just don't like being a leader. If I have my choice to kind of sit in the back seat,
08:02I will take that 100% of the time.
08:05Do you guys agree to keep going?
08:07Up to you.
08:08So I think that this course can kind of help me tap into figuring out how to be more assertive.
08:14What's happening? Where's your target?
08:16Dipsy!
08:18What's your plan?
08:19Up here. You agree with that?
08:21Yeah.
08:23Having failed to spot items on the balcony, indicating recent activity.
08:28The enemy is coming!
08:30Straight, straight, straight.
08:31Number two has her team search every room.
08:34Clear in here. Clear bathroom.
08:36What's happening?
08:37Clear. Out, out, out, out, out, out, out!
08:41In a hostage rescue, you have a limited amount of time.
08:45Clear. Out, out, out.
08:47Me enough! Me enough!
08:49Wasting time searching the wrong room.
08:51Really is a matter of life or death.
08:54Closet clear.
08:55Check the bathroom.
08:56Make a decision!
08:57Time's against you!
08:58Clear, clear.
08:59Let's go!
09:00Come on.
09:01Come on!
09:02Come out in control!
09:03Come here.
09:03Clear the room.
09:04Clear?
09:05With time running out...
09:06Hostage! Hostage!
09:07Check the bathroom!
09:08Check the showers!
09:09Two minutes!
09:11Another hostage here.
09:12...they eventually find two of the three hostages.
09:16Two hostages.
09:17What the is going on?
09:20Get out of here!
09:21Don't you plan out!
09:23Go, go, go, go!
09:24Where the are you going, Dipsy?
09:26Should we try this, sir?
09:27What's in your head?
09:28Where's the plan?
09:29Why are you not supporting?
09:31Protect that building.
09:3450 seconds!
09:35As number two, Hannah, loses control...
09:38No, I need to stay here with them.
09:39...number seven, Colin Gosselin, takes charge.
09:42Clear, clear.
09:42The next one.
09:43You know, having seven other siblings, I always felt like I was a natural leader in tough situations.
09:49Not a lot of people step forward, but I would say I stepped forward.
09:51Go, next!
09:52Next room, let's go!
09:54I had a difficult childhood.
09:57Anybody who goes through struggles early on, they're definitely mentally, like, just stronger.
10:0330 seconds!
10:05Team, let's go!
10:09Hostage, hostage!
10:10With just seconds left, number 14, Maurizio Umanski, finds the final hostage.
10:17Can't do this.
10:17But they're heavily bound.
10:19Go, go, go.
10:19Where'd our team go?
10:20Guys, come on, move!
10:22This way!
10:22We can't leave our team!
10:2510 seconds!
10:27Number two, Hannah, decides to pull her team out.
10:30Let's go! Speed him out!
10:32But leaves number three, Oliver Hudson, behind, trying to untie the hostage.
10:46Guys, come on, move!
10:48We're clear, we're clear!
10:50This way!
10:51Number two, Hannah Stocking, has pulled her team out.
10:54Abandoning number three, Oliver Hudson.
10:5710 seconds!
10:59And a hostage.
11:01Let's go!
11:09Stop!
11:11What do you think that large bang represents?
11:14A bomb.
11:15That bomb there just turned you into dust.
11:20What was the key thing about this mission?
11:22What were they saving lives?
11:23Save the hostages.
11:24Time, Dipsy!
11:26Number seven was doing more commanding than you were.
11:29Yes, sir.
11:30That's the worst leadership I've seen.
11:33As a team, failed. Go.
11:34Thank you, sir.
11:38Oh, my boy.
11:41Bravo! Let's go!
11:43Next up is Team Bravo, with number nine actor David Chavez in charge.
11:51Stop!
11:52He is under watch after losing control during the milling task.
11:57I said stop!
11:59Now, he must keep calm under pressure.
12:03Sign her life. What are you looking for?
12:04I mean, the thing about Daywatch that people really didn't know
12:06is that we really learned how to rescue people.
12:10I think it's just these two.
12:12Where are you going, your coconuts? Where's your target?
12:15We really needed to be able to save people's lives.
12:18The stairs, get the stairs.
12:20Get some urgency. Get some control.
12:22Let's go.
12:24Let's do what's happening!
12:26This is the ultimate test of leadership.
12:30Let's do some commands!
12:32Everything will result in failure if you get one thing wrong.
12:36Clear.
12:37Who's in control of this?
12:38Where's your f***ing team? Who's doing what?
12:41Clear.
12:41Because every mistake could result in the loss of a life.
12:46We got one.
12:47One!
12:48Time is against us! We've got three and a half minutes!
12:52I got a nine.
12:53Probably the most ultimate sin that could happen in our world is to leave somebody behind.
13:00There's no command and control!
13:03Is you clear?
13:04It's something we discuss.
13:06Time is coming!
13:08One minute!
13:10Here's another one!
13:11What?
13:13And pray to God it will never happen.
13:15Let's go! We'll go back to the boat!
13:17Team Bravo search uncovers two hostages.
13:21But they miss the third, just inches away.
13:24Right here, let's go!
13:27Five seconds!
13:30They go right.
13:39What was your mission?
13:40Mission is to get the hostages out, sir.
13:42Okay.
13:42Come with me.
13:45Did we clear this room?
13:47Yes.
13:47Are you happy this room's clear?
13:50Are we happy this room's clear?
13:51Yes.
13:52Yes, sir.
13:52Good job then, yeah?
13:57Only mac and cheese.
13:59Look what we've got here.
14:01We've got a piece of an ear and a finger.
14:03Cause that's all that'll be left right now.
14:05Hey!
14:06I'm talking.
14:07Too late.
14:08He's not there now.
14:10Fail.
14:11Absolute disaster.
14:15I thought it was only two hostages.
14:17I made a mistake.
14:23Are you nervous?
14:25I'm not nervous.
14:27I just want to be a good leader.
14:28You'll be fine.
14:29You're going to be a great leader.
14:30They chose you for a reason.
14:32I know.
14:32Let's hit it, Nate!
14:34Last up, Team Charlie.
14:36The DS have put number eight, actor Candace Cameron Bure in charge
14:41to see if she can step up.
14:43This way, go.
14:46Growing up in entertainment and being a child actor,
14:50I have been directed for most of my life.
14:55I don't know what building we're in.
14:56I'm a people pleaser at home,
14:59and so I want to challenge myself and see what I'm made of.
15:03Guys.
15:05Get out of here.
15:06Just wait.
15:07Come on now, eight.
15:08Get your head in the game.
15:09Right there.
15:09Thank you.
15:11First to spot signs of an occupied room
15:13is not Team Leader Candace,
15:15but number 13, Bree T.A.C.
15:18I'm very good at making decisions.
15:20Yeah, I'm very much, let's go, you do this, I'll do that.
15:26Like, okay, next.
15:29Hurry up, they know you're here.
15:30Let's go, make some moves.
15:32Number eight, tell your team what they're doing.
15:33Let's go.
15:34Search the room, let's go, let's go.
15:36Come on.
15:36Move.
15:37Move, move quicker.
15:38Oh, there he is, there he is, get him.
15:40He's right there.
15:40Secure the hostage.
15:41Guys, we got a hostage.
15:42Go, go, go, let's go.
15:44Having identified the correct rooms.
15:47There's one more.
15:48Don't lead each other, do not lead each other.
15:51Two of the three hostages are quickly found.
15:54Hurry up, hurry up.
15:55We got 13 leading everything.
15:57Go.
15:58Go, go, go.
15:59Are we going down here?
16:00We got two buildings.
16:01Next room, next room.
16:03Go ahead.
16:04You're just gonna take the hostage into an area of danger?
16:06What are you doing?
16:07You just leave this one here alone?
16:09Go, go, go.
16:11With number eight struggling to lead her team.
16:14Where's your leader at?
16:15Right here.
16:15Right here.
16:16She's not giving any command and control.
16:18She fails to protect the rescued hostages.
16:21You two in there.
16:23By taking them on the continuing mission.
16:25Keep them safe.
16:27I don't know how to keep them safe.
16:29So we just take the hostage everywhere we go, huh?
16:31Another one, another one, another hostage.
16:34All right, let's go, let's go.
16:35You are running out of time.
16:36Go, go, go.
16:38Go back.
16:39Hurry up.
16:40Go back.
16:41You're running out of time.
16:43Go.
16:43Let's go, let's go.
16:51Go.
16:52All right, stop.
16:52Over here.
16:53Go, go, go.
16:55Stand at attention, right?
16:56Break this down.
16:57What was going through your head as you were supposedly guiding your team through this?
17:01I was looking for signs of life in the building.
17:02Keep going.
17:03We found hostages.
17:05We tried to then go through the next rooms.
17:07You went back into another room with a hostage.
17:09Is that what you're telling me?
17:10Yes, we did.
17:11Why would you do that?
17:12To keep them with us.
17:13To keep them with us.
17:13What was part of the mission?
17:14With a hostage.
17:15To do what?
17:16Keep them safe.
17:17Keep them safe.
17:18Why would you take them back into another room where there could be anything in there?
17:22Your job was to keep them safe.
17:24So once you secure one, you bring them out and you hold them.
17:27Everything I saw was from number 13 leading.
17:30Shut your mouth.
17:30You wasn't doing anything.
17:34By luck, you did get all the hostages.
17:39By luck.
17:41But your leadership was .
17:45Yes, Steph.
17:47Do you think that's a pass or a fail?
17:50My teammates passed.
17:51I failed.
17:53You're damn right.
17:58Candace, you beating yourself up over here?
18:00I just felt like this is me and my husband all over again because my husband has a great
18:05sense of direction.
18:06Mine sucks.
18:08I failed as a leader because I wasn't taking charge.
18:12So I got beat up for it.
18:14What do I mean?
18:26Oh my God.
18:28How are you feeling?
18:30Fine.
18:31I'm just kind of disappointed in myself.
18:35I know.
18:37Yeah.
18:42What was going on with number eight today?
18:45After she failed as team leader in the hostage rescue.
18:48Her lip was jumping.
18:49On that debrief then?
18:51Number eight.
18:52Candace Cameron Bure has drawn the attention of the DS.
18:58There's not much personality in leadership.
19:00Not a sheep exactly, but she was not in charge.
19:03What do you reckon?
19:04Mm.
19:05Drag her in?
19:06Yeah.
19:06Should we go and have a look at her?
19:07Yeah.
19:11Number eight!
19:13Quickly!
19:15Follow on eight.
19:22Sir.
19:32Relax.
19:34Are you finding the journey so far?
19:37Good.
19:39Good.
19:39You know.
19:40Your feelings still got a lot of fight.
19:42Yeah.
19:43I mean, that's why I showed up.
19:45That's why I came here.
19:46So.
19:47I'll be honest with you.
19:48I don't really get a full read of who you are at the moment.
19:52I don't know hardly anything about you.
19:56I started acting at five years old.
19:58I feel like one of the lucky ones.
20:01Like, I've had a great experience from being a child actor.
20:04I've never been shouted at.
20:05I take that back.
20:06I was shouted at once.
20:09Once?
20:09In all your life?
20:10Yeah.
20:14But how are you coping with what you're getting right now?
20:16From me?
20:17From him?
20:17I mean, I just, yeah.
20:19I felt a level of anger that I don't know that I've ever felt when you yelled in my face.
20:23Yeah.
20:23Uh, but I just controlled it.
20:26You were close to not controlling.
20:29It looked like you almost snapped back at me a little bit.
20:33Well, that was an interesting quick turn there.
20:38I mean, I stand up for myself in entertainment every day.
20:43Did you find that task pretty hard on you today about leadership?
20:49It just was a disappointment.
20:51I saw that out there.
20:53Honestly, like, the more I keep thinking about this, I'm really good at taking direction.
20:59I've been taking direction my whole life.
21:02Just being a kid actor.
21:04And then I met my husband at 18 and he was 20.
21:08And my husband leads.
21:11He's a professional athlete.
21:13He's an Olympian.
21:14I live with an alpha.
21:18I am a beta.
21:24He does everything for me.
21:29Why is that? Why does he?
21:33Because he's a good leader.
21:36He's a good leader.
21:37And, um, I realized today I don't lead at all.
21:44I don't feel confident in my voice.
21:46What are you going to do about that?
21:48Um, I do have a spirit in me.
21:51And so I just at this age really wanted to see if I could push it.
21:59Yeah, I want to step up.
22:02You've actually surprised me a lot.
22:04You've done them well.
22:04But we've got a long way to go.
22:07You're going to have to believe in your faith deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, because it's a lot more cussing.
22:13It's not personal.
22:14Mm-hmm.
22:16Get stuck in. Keep fighting.
22:17Yeah.
22:20God!
22:26I always tell my kids, if there's something that scares you, say yes to it. Go do it.
22:35So I've set out to face some of my biggest fears.
22:44How was it?
22:45I cried through the whole thing.
22:48But I've learned some things today that I was grateful for.
22:54I'm tired, though.
22:56I know.
23:08Oh, my God. And we both don't clean. Literally.
23:11Luckily, I was Cinderella growing up, so I know how.
23:18How are you feeling, Dad?
23:20Picking the burger up hurts a little. Like, using the stomach to pick it up, the pain, the rib.
23:25I don't think anyone wants to see their dad in pain.
23:28Seeing a father in a vulnerable position, it shakes you.
23:34How are you doing?
23:36Good.
23:37Any time that I've ever gone through difficult times in my life, I've always gone to one of my girls.
23:44To have Alexia there is like having my teddy bear.
23:48Both made halfway.
23:49Yeah.
23:51Pretty solid.
23:57Recruits, load up!
24:01Let's go!
24:02All right, let's go, let's go.
24:04Put that on your belt.
24:05You're good to go. Your pack's good.
24:06Is your canteen full? Is your canteen full, Mo?
24:08Yeah, I just filled it.
24:09We're gonna be late.
24:11Oliver, come on. You ready?
24:12We should just stay ready.
24:14Push it out, guys. Come on. Together.
24:16Can I say one thing?
24:17Real quick.
24:18All your intentions are great.
24:20It's just about tone.
24:21As a young boy, because sometimes when you talk, it's like you don't trust that I know things as well.
24:27Yeah, yeah.
24:28That's my advice to you in this, but in life in general.
24:30Yeah, yeah.
24:31And then we'll help you with your friends and chicks and all that .
24:33Yeah.
24:34You know what I mean?
24:35Yeah.
24:35That's it.
24:37At a very young age, I was just kind of like thrown into this world of TV cameras and lights.
24:43You really feel alone and like it's just hard to be yourself.
24:46Come on, we don't want to get consequences for being late.
24:48People coming and going out of my life and not being able to build stable relationships.
24:53Come on now, let's go.
24:56For their next test of leadership, the recruits will now face one of selection's most notorious rites of passage.
25:04Let's go.
25:06Get out of the vehicles.
25:07Hurry up.
25:12Keep up.
25:16Two ranks.
25:18Straight across.
25:19Straight across.
25:20Great work, Mauricio.
25:23All right, listen up real quick.
25:26In Special Forces, we have to be prepared for everything.
25:29And today, that's chemical warfare.
25:37It's going to be hard to breathe.
25:39You can't see.
25:40You're going to struggle.
25:43Right.
25:43This is your new kit.
25:44When you put this kit on, you will have your gas mask in your hand.
25:48Make that happen right now.
25:49Two.
25:49Two.
25:50You're on this side.
25:50Get your mask out.
25:51Hurry up.
25:53Hurry up.
25:54Hurry up.
25:54Hurry up.
25:54Come on.
25:58What are you doing?
25:59Staff, I am, uh, going to have the VW.
26:02for you.
26:05I physically can no longer continue.
26:09Is this real?
26:11My rib is just hurting.
26:13And if I'm going to be coughing and not being able to breathe,
26:15I feel like it's going to break further.
26:18You're about to walk off on your daughter right now.
26:20You know that, right?
26:24I'm sure.
26:26No, I'm not sure.
26:30Not sure at all.
26:37I can no longer go on.
26:38What are you doing?
26:38Staff, I am, uh, going to have the VW.
26:42I physically can no longer continue.
26:45Are you sure?
26:47No, I'm not sure.
26:49Not sure at all.
26:56I can no longer go on.
27:02Thank you for everything.
27:04All right.
27:06It's hard to see a world where my dad leaves the course before me.
27:09I'm going to let them on you off.
27:11But if it happens, I, above all else, want to shock myself and discover myself.
27:21Maurizio Umanski is the fifth recruit to leave the course.
27:26Now, just ten remain.
27:33Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up.
27:35Come on.
27:36In an isolated compound deep in the jungle, the DS are filling a room with tear gas.
27:46Working in teams, the recruits must locate two pieces of military intelligence.
27:52One, the name of an enemy ship.
27:55And two, its coordinates.
27:59All right, listen up real quick.
28:00After all three leaders failed the earlier hostage rescue, the DS assign new ones.
28:06Our teams have changed.
28:08Bravo.
28:10Number ten, you're now a team leader.
28:13Eight, thirteen, and fifteen.
28:16Work as a team.
28:17Yes, staff.
28:20All right, so what's our plan, boss man?
28:22I'm going to be leading in there, trying to talk as much as I can.
28:26You just have to keep communicating.
28:29My whole career, I've been skating by myself, just me.
28:32since I was around maybe seven or eight years old.
28:36The point is that you're choking and dying.
28:39Let's go.
28:42But working within a team is new to me.
28:44So I hope I won't fall into, you know, being the lone wolf.
28:47Team leader, take a knee.
28:51All right, listen up.
28:53We have this enemy vessel.
28:56We don't know its name.
28:57We match the picture with the ones that are there.
28:59And we grab those coordinates and we go up.
29:01Yeah.
29:02All right, you good to go?
29:03Let's do this.
29:04Being gassed is like your lungs are exploding,
29:09your eyes are burning.
29:11Let's go!
29:12Let's go!
29:13You may be in the worst pain of your life.
29:16Right through there!
29:17Go!
29:18Go!
29:19Go!
29:19You need to step up, keep the team together,
29:22and get the job done.
29:24Come there.
29:25Shoulder, shoulder.
29:28Calm down.
29:29Calm down.
29:29Come on.
29:30You know what your mission is?
29:31Yes, sir.
29:32Relax.
29:34Relax.
29:35Your mission is to match that up with that.
29:38What are you doing?
29:40Go, go, go!
29:41Let's go!
29:42Stop f***ing blowing!
29:43Team leader number 10, Maxim Naumov,
29:47searches for the ship's name.
29:48Find the name.
29:49But after just a few seconds,
29:52number 13, Bree, panics.
29:54Where the f*** are you going?
29:56Number eight, Candace, quickly follows her.
29:59Oh!
30:00Abandoning the mission.
30:03It's f***ing painful to walk.
30:06I'll grab it!
30:07I'll grab it!
30:08Keep going!
30:10I'll grab it!
30:11Number 15, Alexia, and 10, Maxim,
30:14escape with the ship's name, but not its location.
30:17Right, come down here!
30:19Stop moaning!
30:20We haven't got time for this s***!
30:22Number 13, stand up.
30:26Stand there.
30:27So what happened?
30:29We died.
30:30You didn't die.
30:31You're still alive.
30:33Which tells me if you'd have stayed in there,
30:34you'd still be alive.
30:35Right, number 10, you were the leader.
30:38Yes, sir.
30:38What was the mission?
30:39The mission was to get the coordinates.
30:40So where's the coordinates?
30:44We bailed, sir.
30:44You don't have the coordinates?
30:45No, we bailed, sir.
30:46So you bailed?
30:48Yes, sir.
30:49I'm out of here.
30:50Yes, sir.
30:51You saw her bail and were like,
30:52that seems a f***ing great idea.
30:56Shambles.
30:58Right, that was a fail.
31:00Let's go.
31:07This is tough.
31:09I mean, failing on my own is one thing,
31:10but failing with a team is a whole other thing.
31:13You did not let us down at all.
31:15You know?
31:15You really didn't.
31:16It wasn't you.
31:16I ran.
31:21Who's ready for Team Alpha?
31:23Who's ready?
31:24I am.
31:25I'm ready.
31:26David, you good?
31:27You need help?
31:28Let's go, let's go.
31:29Next to face the tear gas, Team Alpha,
31:32led by NBA champion Matt Barnes.
31:35My job every night was to guard the best players in the world.
31:39So, Kobe, LeBron, you name them.
31:43Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
31:46I want to do whatever it takes to make sure my team gives their best effort.
31:50Inside into the rifle!
31:55Stand still!
31:56Stand still!
31:59You understand what you have to do?
32:00Yes, sir.
32:01Take your wrist, LeBron.
32:02Take them off.
32:03Take them off.
32:04Take them off.
32:05Take them off.
32:06Take them off.
32:08And before, the threat of chemical and biological warfare was real.
32:12If gas is used against us,
32:14at the point where you feel someone is taking your life
32:17and you're gonna die,
32:18it's not an excuse not to continue the mission.
32:21Right.
32:22Let's go!
32:23Come on.
32:24Come on, together.
32:25Under the leadership of number 11, Matt...
32:28What's the name?
32:29This one.
32:30This one.
32:30Team Alpha quickly identifies the ship's name...
32:34Check the coordinates!
32:35Come on, come on.
32:36And then search for its coordinates.
32:38Come on, work it out!
32:40Coordinates, coordinates.
32:41Right here.
32:42Find the name!
32:43Find the coordinates!
32:44Seven, seven.
32:45Seven.
32:46Right here.
32:47No.
32:48No.
32:50No.
32:50Severs.
32:50Right here.
32:52There it comes.
32:54Oh, my God!
32:55Out to me!
32:56Steady there.
32:57Hey, slow down.
32:58Slow down.
32:59Get up!
33:01Three of you, come over here.
33:04Right, don't touch your faces.
33:08Right.
33:09Number 11.
33:10What was the mission?
33:11To find the ship and report to you the coordinates.
33:13What ship?
33:14Uh, the Severus.
33:16Okay.
33:16What have you given me here?
33:18Those are the coordinates to it.
33:20Right.
33:21And that's a good pass.
33:22Well done.
33:23Get up there.
33:24Go!
33:29Thank you, team.
33:30That hurt like a bitch and I'll never do it again.
33:32That was dope.
33:33Your voice was calm, bro.
33:35Yeah.
33:40We got this.
33:41We got this.
33:42Last up, team Charlie will be led by number seven, Colin Gosselin, a former Marine Corps recruit.
33:49I have been back to back, fail, fail, fail, fail.
33:53Yo, I need a pass really bad, so please help me pass this, bro.
34:05Team leader number seven, you're gonna be in charge.
34:08Last to lead his team into the gas-filled compound is number seven, Colin Gosselin.
34:15We're gonna get this done, right, guys?
34:17Yeah.
34:17The idea of what it even feels like.
34:19Like, I have no clue.
34:21Don't run out.
34:22Whatever you do, don't panic and try to dip out of the building, you know?
34:27Focus.
34:30I had a lifelong dream to serve my country in the Marines, and unfortunately, it was taken
34:37away from me.
34:39I believe because of my mother's claims, my dream was shattered.
34:43I still feel hurt.
34:45We got this.
34:46We got this.
34:47I guess this is a chance to prove that I can do it.
34:53We're gonna locate the image that matches, staff.
34:55We got this.
34:58We got this.
34:59We got this.
35:00We got this.
35:01We got this.
35:02We got this.
35:03We got this.
35:05We got this.
35:05We got this.
35:05No, Severus!
35:06Number seven locates the ship's name.
35:08Lo, gate.
35:09Pull up.
35:10And instructs the rest of his team to search for the coordinates.
35:14No, Severus!
35:15I get it.
35:16Lo, gate.
35:17Severus.
35:17Close the boat!
35:18What about?
35:20Close the boat!
35:21Right out.
35:22Where you going, you muppet!
35:24What's going on?
35:25Where is he?
35:26Go, gate.
35:26Severus.
35:27Where is seven?
35:28Go, gate.
35:29Severus.
35:32Number two, stand up.
35:34Number seven, over to me.
35:37All three of you are over here.
35:39Right, listen to me.
35:40Number seven.
35:41So that's the vessel.
35:42Oh, yes.
35:44Now, Severus, sir.
35:45I think the ocean coordinates are pretty important.
35:47You got those as well?
35:48No.
35:50What happened to you in there?
35:51I panicked.
35:53Number two, what happened to you?
35:54I thought I was gonna die.
35:55Thought you were gonna die?
35:56Yeah, that's a fact.
35:57Are you dead?
36:00The big I am.
36:01I'll get it done.
36:02And you it up.
36:03Yes, sir.
36:05That was a fail.
36:07Yes, sir.
36:08Go.
36:10At 21, I've been through a lot of difficult things.
36:15The abandonment between me and my mom.
36:17I had learned that you can't always rely on other people.
36:25Q, do the honors, please.
36:28Ooh, number 14.
36:31Grandpa's gone.
36:35Today was all about leadership.
36:37But overall, the leadership was missing.
36:39It was lacking big time.
36:40So, uh, let's talk about the gassing task.
36:43Number seven was so adamant on proving yourself as a leader.
36:46Going over, trying to think, and then going back and forth.
36:49He-he weren't gonna come out.
36:50He was last out.
36:51Yeah.
36:51Two was just looking for the exit.
36:53Three was not much better.
36:54Those two didn't give a .
36:56They were out of there.
36:57Bottom line is, lack of communication, lack of leadership.
37:01Number seven, he'd lost command.
37:02So let's bring him in.
37:03Yeah.
37:08Number seven!
37:09Number seven!
37:11You got one minute.
37:13Beat it up!
37:15We all have to overcome our own personal struggles.
37:17And after years of exploitation on TV,
37:21I didn't seek revenge on other people.
37:26I seeked to make better of my situation.
37:50What happened in the gas chamber training today?
37:53Um, I-I failed to give a proper line of instructions to my team.
38:00And I guess without proper direction, they both ran out.
38:05They bailed, didn't they?
38:06Yeah.
38:07Very rarely can one operator complete a mission alone.
38:11It's not possible under the combat stress.
38:13Um, how's it going with you and your fellow recruits?
38:18I think sometimes when the rest of the group are conversing,
38:21I just struggle to, you know, mingle myself in there.
38:25I guess I just don't put myself out there.
38:27It's-it's hard to trust.
38:33Take a couple breaths.
38:35We want to learn a little bit more about you.
38:38How'd you grow up? What was it like?
38:41Uh, uh, pretty tough. I mean, it wasn't a conventional childhood.
38:45Okay. Tell me about it.
38:47I was on TV since I was three.
38:50Whoa.
38:50I'm one of eight kids, and I'm a sextuplet, so...
38:55I guess we were some, you know, attraction as kids,
38:58like, kind of forced on a TV.
39:01My mom, I guess you can say, she's like a drill instructor.
39:05I was scared of her as a kid.
39:07When I started to see things for what they were,
39:09which was I was being exploited as a kid,
39:12I-I realized I didn't want to do it anymore.
39:15After I voiced that I didn't want to be on TV,
39:18I was pulled out of school.
39:19I was isolated from my siblings, my best friends, and my own house.
39:23Uh, she kept me away from everybody.
39:26I had nowhere to go.
39:28Because I was a problem child, she sent me off to an institution.
39:33Uh, for three years at age 11, I was alone.
39:37Kids came and went, I made friends, and they left,
39:40and I just never had to rely on anybody but myself.
39:45It's tough.
39:48I went through high school and-and-and-and had struggles
39:51with relationships and friends and all that stuff.
39:54And after I graduated, I enlisted in the Marines.
39:57Marine Corps.
39:58Marine Corps.
39:59And it was-it was f***ing awesome, man.
40:03I never knew what that brotherhood was like
40:05until I was enlisted in the Marines.
40:08I was-I was ten and a half weeks in.
40:11My mom made a statement on Instagram
40:13that I had all these crazy diagnoses and emotional disorders.
40:18It got back, man.
40:45Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
40:49...it's horrible. I'll probably never get my chance again.
40:57A lot of us in the Special Forces, we come from tough backgrounds.
41:02Find a way to use it in a positive way for you,
41:06because we're only halfway through the course.
41:08There's still a lot of opportunity to improve and to learn more about yourself.
41:13The military is a family.
41:16And I have a good feeling that if you start getting around,
41:19those other fellow recruits,
41:21they'll be more apt to get around you.
41:24You're now in the place where you're getting the piece of that dream.
41:28Keep pushing forward and you're going to do well.
41:31Yes, sir.
41:33Guard!
41:40I still... I think I have trouble being vulnerable sometimes.
41:44But I really want to do this course because I'm not defined by my struggles.
41:48I'm defined by my successes and the things I overcome.
41:53That was a lot.
41:54What did they say?
41:55They noticed how, like, I don't always, like, indulge myself in a group.
42:00They're right, you know, I just...
42:02As a kid, like, my mom separated me from my siblings.
42:05And, like, they would all eat dinner as a family,
42:07and then they would go and I'd eat my dinner alone.
42:10I'm sorry about that calling.
42:12I got to learn to just be able to be around people.
42:16Here we go.
42:17Family.
42:19Huh?
42:19Good?
42:19Yeah.
42:21All good.
42:24Good night, brother.
42:26Good night, guys.
42:27Lord, thanks for a good day.
42:29We pray for a good night's sleep and fewer mosquito and bug bites.
42:35Amen.
42:38F*** mosquitoes.
42:40Next time.
42:41Oh, hell no.
42:45I got his ass.
42:46All right, let's move.
42:48We are in enemy territory!
42:50I'm sinking.
42:51My foot is stuck.
42:54Do you have a problem?
42:55No.
42:56Staff.
42:56The disrespect from you is crazy.
42:59Extract's been compromised!
43:01Let's go!
43:03I'm stuck in this.
43:05It has to be the worst thing I've ever done in my life.
