00:00Are you ready?
00:04You think you can tell us what to do?
00:07You think you can tell us what to wear?
00:12You think that you're better?
00:16Well, you better get ready.
00:20Bow to the masters.
00:23Break it down.
00:33What an ovation for the Showstopper, the main event.
00:37One of the most electric, one of the most charismatic champions I have ever witnessed.
00:43I've been here over a decade, Michael.
00:46I've seen Shawn Michaels rise in that great Iron Man match with Bret Hart.
00:50Up until now, when the Showstopper believes he has one more title run in him.
00:56And frankly, Michael, I do too.
00:58The wrestling tag team contest is scheduled for one fall.
01:02In the ring, from San Antonio, Texas, it's one half of the World Tag Team Champions,
01:09The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.
01:22And Shawn Michaels quite frankly, he's got a very capable tag team partner.
01:26He's one of the Tag Team Champions with John Cena, but he wants Triple H.
01:32John Cena, the WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels, a partner tonight, opponent at WrestleMania.
01:40At WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels will headline the event for a fifth time.
01:57And his partner from West Newberry, Massachusetts, weighing in at 248 pounds, is one half of the World Tag Team
02:08Champions, and the WWE Champion,
02:14John Cena.
02:16John Cena.
02:16Nobody, Michael, nobody gets the crowd on their feet.
02:20There is not a person sitting in this arena like John Cena does.
02:27Whether you like him or unite, you can't ignore him.
02:31It was this arena, Michael, at WrestleMania 21, where he first won that World Championship from me.
02:37And since then, he has been the guy.
02:41Hit movie, hit album.
02:43He believes he is the guy on Raw, and it's Shawn Michaels should pass the court.
02:49Shawn Michaels says he's still the guy.
02:52We will find out at WrestleMania.
02:55What we're gonna find out right now is if these two egomaniacs can get along.
03:06Talk about high octane.
03:32The animal is fired up tonight.
03:39Remember, Michael, it was this building as well at WrestleMania 21 that Batista first became a World Champion as well.
04:05It's the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista.
04:13And while Batista may have the skills to match up with The Undertaker at WrestleMania,
04:18and he does.
04:20There is no more formidable challenger at WrestleMania.
04:25Can you believe it?
04:26If you're the champion, you're finally on the top of the heel.
04:29You're on Everest, and the guy looking up at you is undefeated.
04:33The Phenom is going to WrestleMania to see if he can keep his undefeated streak alive.
04:41And if he does, The Undertaker ends the reign of the animal.
04:49The weight of the world is falling on my shoulders.
04:58Batista surveying his competition.
05:01He better worry about the fact whether he can get along with The Undertaker.
05:07You can feel the tension, Michael.
05:09You can cut it with a knife.
05:37It looks like he did.
05:43And from Death Valley, weighing at 305 pounds, The Undertaker!
06:38The Undertaker!
07:08The Undertaker!
07:15Look at this, Michael, you have three world champions, two current world champions all standing in awe.
07:22All standing in respect for the legacy that The Undertaker brings to the ring.
07:36You've waited all your life, Michael.
07:39Everything you have, everything in your soul, everything in your heart.
07:42You want to headline WrestleMania.
07:44Everything I have to this day, all the money I've made, I would give it up to do it one
07:49more damn time.
07:50And these two teams have to compete as teams with partners that are their opponents at the biggest dance of
07:59them all.
08:26The Undertaker!
08:27The Undertaker!
08:34You gotta wonder, Michael, the question on everybody's mind, sitting in this arena,
08:38looking worldwide on pay-per-view, are all these opponents at WrestleMania that are teammates,
08:45respectively, are they going to double cross each other?
08:49I think the question may be, when will they double cross each other?
08:53WWE Champion John Cena locking up with World Champion Batista.
08:57This is the main event of No Way Out in front of 17,000 plus at the Staples Center in
09:01Los Angeles.
09:02And remember what happened in what has been a wild week here, both on Raw and SmackDown, John.
09:09Remember, back on Raw Thursday night, Batista delivered a Batista bomb to John Cena.
09:14On SmackDown Friday night, John Cena delivered an FU to Batista.
09:19Michael, this is the road to WrestleMania.
09:22It starts at the Royal Rumble.
09:23But the road to WrestleMania this year is about to have a car crash.
09:29John Cena, the WWE Champion, with a big right hand to Batista.
09:33These two men, they came up in the sports entertainment business together.
09:37They've become huge superstars on their respective brands.
09:40And they won championships on the same day at WrestleMania 21,
09:44in this very building, Michael.
09:46Batista!
09:49Batista wanting to be the guy.
09:51He said weeks ago, months ago, he wanted to be the main event at WrestleMania.
09:55Well, now he has the opportunity.
09:57And there's the strength of the champion, driving Cena to the man.
10:00Here's the cover, and a kick out at two.
10:02But more importantly than that, Michael, you've got legacies at stake.
10:06You've got history at stake.
10:07People are gonna talk about this matchup for years to come.
10:11And the winner of this, Michael, you talk about bragging rights.
10:15It's not just Raw versus SmackDown.
10:17It's champions versus champions.
10:19Show the first into the steel post goes Batista.
10:22Remember, Mr. McMahon said this is the first time we've ever seen this match.
10:25This match will probably never ever happen again.
10:30This is the back of Batista in the corner of the big right hands by the WWE Champion.
10:34Cena firing up.
10:34He's been everything you want in a champion and more.
10:38Let's not forget, John, that Shawn Michaels and John Cena are the current world tag team champions.
10:42The first WrestleMania I was at was when Shawn Michaels repelled out of that scene.
10:48And I thought I've never seen anything like that in my life.
10:51The Heartbreak Kid since then has never been better.
10:55And a kick by my taste to the ribs.
10:59The animal looks to be in a zone here tonight, the world champion.
11:05Thing about it is, Michael, no matter who you tag in.
11:09Wow, what a clothesline.
11:12Here's the cover by Batista, hooks the leg.
11:14Kick out at two.
11:15WrestleMania, Michael.
11:16Batista may be one of the few guys ever that could match power with The Undertaker.
11:21And here he comes.
11:23Listen to this crowd.
11:25Look, listen to this clothesline.
11:27Physicality of Batista.
11:28And here's The Undertaker.
11:29These guys want to send a message.
11:32They want to send a message to the other team.
11:34They want to send a message to their own partner.
11:36Well, they've been sending messages to each other all week, Thursday night on Raw.
11:40It was The Undertaker delivering the chokeslam to Shawn Michaels.
11:44Friday night on SmackDown, Shawn Michaels, the sweet chin music to The Undertaker.
11:49Michael, I've never believed I've witnessed a moment in person like I witnessed at the Royal Rumble.
11:54It was history happening directly in front of me.
11:56It was something you're gonna tell your kids about.
11:59The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and here they are again.
12:03Finish Undertaker.
12:10Undertaker, 14 and 0 at WrestleMania.
12:13And look at this matchup.
12:14Remember the hell in the cell they were in?
12:17Remember these guys beating the hell out of each other?
12:19Just like they're doing right now.
12:21That was ten years ago and they're still doing it.
12:23And not only that, Michael, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels still the best in the business.
12:29That may have been WrestleMania.
12:31Both of them, John.
12:31What a record.
12:36This is history.
12:40Two legends going at it.
12:42Not when they're past the prime, but right when they're at the pinnacle of it.
12:46There's the strength of The Undertaker, tossing Shawn Michaels off.
12:49But the heartbreak came right back on the attack.
12:51Shawn Michaels was one of the most tenacious individuals ever.
12:57Booped to the skull by The Undertaker.
13:00And he's got it.
13:01This could be quick.
13:02Kicked out by Shawna too.
13:08Feeling each other out, Michael.
13:11You got four world champions, two current world champions, the tag team world champions.
13:16All in the ring, all on the apron at the same time.
13:21Batista earlier tonight says he was not intimidated by Michaels Encina.
13:25He's not been intimidated this far in this matchup.
13:31I don't think he's intimidated by The Undertaker either.
13:35Batista with a scoop slam.
13:40Missing the elbow, Michaels rolls out of the way.
13:42Looks to make a tag and he does.
13:43And here comes Cena.
13:50Cena raises a reaction, love him or hate him.
13:53Everybody has an opinion on John Cena.
13:58And look at this matchup.
14:00Something we haven't seen very many times.
14:03The Dead Man versus John Cena.
14:07How great is this matchup tonight?
14:12And the picnic.
14:13That's 300 pounds like a freight train.
14:16And Undertaker gonna have him.
14:18Shoots to have, here's the cover.
14:19Kick out by Cena.
14:24Undertaker's feeling it.
14:26He's in his groove.
14:30John Cena, look like Undertaker's going full school again.
14:33And Cena in the right hands.
14:38I knew when I faced John Cena, I knew when I tried to get the championship
14:42at a quick match that John Cena would one day carry this company.
14:52Dangerous territory.
14:54And Cena paid for it.
14:55But John Cena right back on the attack.
15:00Long way down.
15:02What a superplex.
15:08Take as much out of Cena as it did Undertaker.
15:10It's a long way down, carrying a lot of people.
15:13Both men down.
15:16This is what I like, Michael.
15:19Undertaker style.
15:20I like that a lot.
15:21John Cena back on the attack.
15:23You gotta like Cena taking the offense to the Undertaker.
15:25I like Cena period.
15:28The guy's everything in a champion you want him to be.
15:31But so is Undertaker.
15:33And he's never, ever been better.
15:35Here comes Shawn Michaels off the tag.
15:38Cena and Michaels working well as a team here.
15:41Michaels said that he had his word that he's gonna back up John Cena.
15:47Get up by Michaels.
15:50Shades of the Royal Rumble match.
15:52Uh-oh.
15:56And Shawn Michaels went right to the knee.
15:59Undertaker with the chokeslam in mind.
16:03Look at that.
16:04The power of The Undertaker.
16:07My God, how is he gonna go?
16:10There's never been anybody like The Undertaker.
16:13There's never been anybody close to The Undertaker, Michael.
16:16I've been in the ring with all of them.
16:18I know The Undertaker is just a different cut.
16:22And Batista with a dropping Shawn Michaels head first on the steel steps.
16:28Both teams are working well together.
16:31The question is how long will they?
16:36And if they do, this place is still gonna explode.
16:45What a right by The Undertaker.
16:49Not sure Michaels knows where he is.
16:55The Undertaker got the cover.
16:57There's the cover.
16:57John Cena breaks up the possible three count.
17:04And look how this crowd is just watching, Michael.
17:06People are on their feet.
17:08People's eyeballs are glued.
17:09They're not sure who to cheer for.
17:11They like The Undertaker.
17:13They like Shawn Michaels.
17:15People are watching one hell of a competition right now.
17:22How aggressive is the champ tonight?
17:24Hook of the leg.
17:25Shoulders down.
17:25Kick out.
17:27He said he wasn't intimidated.
17:29I'm not sure that boot in the face wasn't meant to send a message to The Undertaker.
17:36Listen to that.
17:37Kick to the Shawn.
17:39Get out of the corner.
17:42And here comes The Undertaker, Batista's wrestling the opponent.
17:47And they are.
17:47They're working very well as a team.
17:49How would you like that, Michael?
17:50You're stuck in a corner.
17:51You got Batista beating on you, and somebody tags out, and in comes The Undertaker.
17:56It's a no-win situation.
17:58Come on.
18:00It's the beauty of this matchup.
18:03John at WrestleMania, how in the world is Batista gonna come back the other day?
18:08How do you do it?
18:08You've been in the ring with the man.
18:09I've been in the ring with Undertaker.
18:11I've been in the ring with Batista.
18:12Look, if anybody can do it, it is Batista.
18:14The main thing Batista better not do.
18:24And that is upset The Undertaker, the guy takes it to a different level.
18:32Undertaker trying to make it back to his feet.
18:34Shawn Michaels trying to make it to his partner John Cena.
18:41Come on, Shawn.
18:42Come on, Shawn.
18:43Come on, Shawn.
18:46We're seeing matchups, Michael, that are absolutely dream matchups.
18:54Shawn Michaels, the heartbreak kid.
18:56Never happened before, and all likely would never will happen again.
19:00It is history in the making.
19:03It's like the old days of WCW, WWE.
19:06You never thought you'd see champions match up and fight with what we're seeing tonight, Michael.
19:10The main event at WrestleMania getting after it.
19:15Here's the cover.
19:16He has the cover.
19:16They have a kick out.
19:22And Batista tags it again.
19:28So far Undertaker and Batista function a lot better as a team than Shawn Michaels and John Cena.
19:35Batista clothesline after clothesline to the heartbreak kid.
19:39And there's a third.
19:41Cover.
19:41Cover, he's got him.
19:42He's got the legs, shoulders down.
19:44Shawn Michaels kicks out again.
19:45Come on, he's got a fight.
19:46Come on, he's got a fight.
19:47Come on.
19:49That's smart.
19:52You got Shawn Michaels down, you wear him out.
19:54Last thing you want is a fresh John Cena coming in this.
19:58We are watching Michael the very best of SmackDown and the very best of Raw.
20:05You've got four world champions going at it.
20:09Kudos to Teddy Long, though I despise him for putting this match together.
20:14Brother Vince McMahon cuz Teddy Long couldn't do it.
20:23I give Shawn Michaels credit.
20:26I have seen him do this year after year, match after match.
20:30He's back to his feet.
20:32He always comes back for more.
20:40DDT, hit him with a DDT on Batista, what a counter.
20:46I have no idea where Shawn Michaels pulls the DDT out of his hat, but
20:50he did it nonetheless.
20:52That's the Heartbreak Kid, he is the showstopper.
20:57You can never count the Heartbreak Kid down,
21:00as he makes his tag to Cena.
21:03We're gonna see this place implode.
21:07Here we go.
21:19Cena's feeling it, Cena's on fire, watch him.
21:26Wow, he's got him, he's got the hook.
21:32That had been victory for certain.
21:34The Undertaker making the save.
21:41I told you last thing that Taker and Batista wanted in was a fresh Cena.
21:46Well, that's what he's got.
21:53I hate when he does this, but he's seen us feeling it.
21:58Look at this crowd, Michael.
22:01They're on their feet.
22:08Here we go, five knuckle shuffle.
22:16FU, he's going for the FU, it's open.
22:26That would have been it.
22:31I have a feeling Michael we're breaking down.
22:39The last thing you want is to be in the Undertaker's arms.
22:44It's not like flying into mommy.
22:46It's a dangerous place to be.
22:58Here we go, Batista Bomb.
23:01He hits it, it's all over.
23:11What a miraculous save by Shawn Michaels.
23:14Batista hits that, that's the ball game.
23:23And now the tides turn.
23:28Shawn Michaels is tenacious.
23:30Shawn Michaels is resilient.
23:32But when Shawn Michaels gets on top, he's as good a finisher as there is.
23:36One, two, two.
23:39Shawn Michaels isn't a multi-time world champion, a multi-time main eventer at
23:44WrestleMania because he doesn't know how to beat someone up.
23:50Batista is in a world of trouble.
23:52It's all fair and love and war.
23:55I don't think there's any love here.
23:57But we're damn sure seeing a war.
24:01Stop on the face.
24:07Cena and HBK working together could be the beginning of the end.
24:11Cover, one, two.
24:15But Batista's getting more down, that's the point.
24:18Cena has got it.
24:20Cena is on top.
24:22I've been on the receiving end of Cena's offense.
24:26It's not the place you wanna be.
24:28And believe me, it's not the place Batista wants to be.
24:36Wow, that'll take your head off, that's it.
24:39One, two.
24:43What a knock down, drag out fight.
24:46Look at this.
24:46Look at this.
24:50That's not a close line from Hill, but it damn sure is close.
24:55This is what I like, Michael.
24:57Four world champions are fighting for pride.
25:00They're fighting to send a statement to the other team, to everybody watching worldwide,
25:05and most importantly to their partners.
25:11Batista has no idea what hit him.
25:13Shawn Michaels got the cover.
25:15He's got the win.
25:22You talk about a great matchup.
25:24These guys are going at it.
25:25Both guys, both teams wore down.
25:29This is what I like, Michael.
25:31This is what we knew would happen.
25:32Who's gonna win?
25:34It's gonna be up to the team to hit a home run.
25:38Plain and simple.
25:42Shawn Michaels got a front face lock.
25:43He's simply trying to wear it down, smart.
25:45They've beaten Batista up.
25:47They've worn Batista down.
25:49Now you're simply gonna lay on him.
25:50You're gonna come off his oxygen.
25:53You're gonna make Batista work from underneath, something Batista is not used to doing.
26:02And here we go again, and Batista gets to the Undertaker.
26:05Here comes a fresh John Cena.
26:09And listen to how this crowd responds.
26:12Everybody in this arena has an opinion of John Cena, good, bad, indifferent.
26:17You can't deny him.
26:20Batista's bleeding.
26:23Batista's busted open.
26:32And it's that left eye of Batista, that blood gets into your eyes.
26:37It's the worst place in the world to get a cut.
26:40Cena doing the exact same thing Shawn Michaels was doing.
26:43What a team that they are working out.
26:45Front face lock.
26:48But Batista's in the wrong corner.
26:52He's trying to tag the wrong guy.
26:54Has no idea where he's at.
27:02Looks like I've said all night.
27:03There it is.
27:04He's right in the middle of the ring.
27:06It's all over.
27:07Find a fat lady and make her sing.
27:11Get a tap.
27:15It's the STFU and Cena's got it cinched in in the middle of the ring.
27:22We may see a tap out here and no way out.
27:27Something I don't think anybody would suspect.
27:30Batista's bleeding.
27:31Batista's tired.
27:32Batista's beat up.
27:33And Batista, most importantly, is stuck in a hole to kick it out of.
27:39That'll break it up.
27:45Undertaker not taking a chance.
27:48We wondered if these two teams would work together.
27:50So far they have.
27:53They work together quite well.
27:58Shawn Michaels, he's known as a half flyer.
28:03And when he does it, he's the best of them all.
28:06Here we go.
28:09Ballgame.
28:10He's feeling it.
28:12Shawn Michaels first won a title in Anaheim just a few miles from here.
28:17To a second to The Undertaker, the audacity, the temerity of Shawn Michaels.
28:22And he hits this, strike up the band.
28:29I will be damned.
28:30What a matchup.
28:32What a matchup.
28:32Strike at the damn band anyway.
28:35We're about to explode here at the Staples Center.
28:39Here we go.
28:42A fresh Undertaker, which is not what you want.
28:46And he's working a bolt over.
28:49The dead man is feeling it.
28:55Snake eyes.
28:56You better get away, Shawn.
28:59Hello, welcome to Mr. Boots.
29:05It's a touch.
29:07Here he comes.
29:12If Shawn Michaels and Cena want to find a way to get out of here,
29:16they better find a way to stop.
29:17Undertaker goes right now.
29:19He's one of his four halves in a doggy ball.
29:23Undertaker pure on fire.
29:32Spider bust out.
29:35I think we have an answer.
29:40Cena going for the ride.
29:48What the hell?
29:51What the hell?
29:56What in the hell?
29:58Batista sent Payback to Mitch.
30:01And damn sure is.
30:03But why here?
30:04Why now?
30:08Why would he do that?
30:12Batista is sitting there watching his own partner.
30:16He's watching the damage that he just caused.
30:19He's left Undertaker to do world champions by himself and down.
30:25The hell's wrong with you, Batista?
30:27Damn it, man.
30:31Batista sent Payback to Mitch.
30:33Well, I guess the hell it is.
30:38Undertaker's defenseless.
30:41He's defenseless.
30:45Cena, a few.
30:47One, two, three.
30:53Here are your winners.
30:55The heartbreak team, Shawn Michaels.
30:58And the WWE Champion, John Cena.
31:05Batista is one competitive son of a bitch.
31:09And quite frankly, I like it.
31:10The Undertaker takes a shot at Batista.
31:13Batista says to hell with you.
31:15WrestleMania is mine.
31:1714 and 0.
31:18Bring it.
31:19That championship belt is all that it is, Michael.
