00:00did at this club
00:18Well, hello to everyone
00:22I'm learning English, so
00:24I think I'm going to learn a bit quicker
00:26than I thought
00:28Yes, to be honest
00:30It surprises me because
00:33you know how big Liverpool are
00:35but when you get here and you see the dimension
00:37of this club, the structure
00:39the fans
00:41you know it's a
00:43gigantic team, so I'm very happy
00:46because since
00:47I arrived, I've been
00:49welcomed just as another player
00:51not just the people at the club, but also the fans
00:53so I'm very grateful to them
00:56and I want to
00:57give back to them by giving everything
00:59in training and in every match
01:01I think when you arrived
01:03we expected you to be
01:05essentially a centre-back
01:07how are you adjusting
01:09to playing at right-back or is it
01:11not a problem for you?
01:16It's not a problem
01:17because
01:19I'd already played there
01:20a few times
01:24when I
01:26made the decision to come here
01:27I knew that it was one of the possibilities
01:29to
01:31play as a right-back
01:32so it's not something
01:35so different for me
01:37ultimately I always try and give everything
01:39I can
01:40whichever
01:40position I find myself
01:42in
01:43what the manager asked of me
01:44I try and give my very best
01:47I'm not going to deny that I feel
01:49more comfortable playing as a centre-back
01:50but ultimately
01:51at the end of the day
01:53it's not a different position for me
01:55and each time I have to play there
01:57I try and give absolutely everything
01:59And how well do you know
02:01Villarreal?
02:02I know you have a good record
02:03against them
02:03but what problems can they pose
02:05for Liverpool?
02:11Well
02:11I know Villarreal very well
02:13I've faced them many times
02:15It's a great
02:16they're a great side
02:17great players as well
02:18a team that
02:19if you give them the ball
02:22they're going to have a lot of possession
02:25I think they're the
02:26the second team after Barcelona
02:28have the highest level of possession
02:30so that tells you the types of players
02:32that they have
02:32but we also have
02:35our players
02:35we're playing at home
02:37we're playing at Anfield
02:39we have our identity
02:40our characteristics
02:42and we have to give everything
02:43from the first minute
02:44we have to
02:45impose ourselves
02:46on the game
02:47and if we do
02:48I think we can
02:49come away with a victory
02:51which is the most wonderful thing
02:52and that's what we all want
02:55Having come into
02:56this club now
02:58in terms of your experience
03:00as a player
03:00when you look around
03:01the rest of the Liverpool squad
03:03how confident are you
03:04that this is a team
03:05that can go a long way
03:06in the Champions League
03:07this season?
03:11To be honest
03:12I really do believe
03:14that we have a great side
03:15a team with great players in it
03:18great potential
03:19players who came
03:21a short time ago
03:23and they've come in
03:24and they've given
03:25a great deal
03:26like myself
03:26I came in recently
03:29the Champions League
03:30is a very difficult competition
03:31there are great sides in there
03:33and often
03:36sometimes those knockout games
03:38are decided
03:39by small details
03:40but I believe
03:41we can compete
03:42for all titles
03:43that we're in this year
03:43the Premier League
03:45the Cup
03:46we have to take it
03:47step by step
03:47we know that it's a very long season
03:49but I believe
03:50that we're on the right path
03:52we're working
03:54really well
03:55despite that we've not
03:56had great results
03:59I think
03:59the team is moving forward
04:01progressing
04:01and that's lovely
04:02because
04:03we know that we have
04:04a great team
04:04but also we have potential
04:06to continue to grow
04:09Hi Roland
04:10Liverpool have an option
04:12to sign you permanently
04:13I believe
04:13how do you see your future
04:15do you want to be here
04:16do you want to go back
04:17to Barcelona
04:18how do you see things
04:22It's very early
04:23to talk about these things
04:24I'm just trying to
04:26enjoy
04:28every day
04:28continue to grow
04:30develop
04:30to play
04:31to give what's required of me
04:33to have that confidence
04:36I'm really happy
04:37really happy to be here
04:39my family
04:39are also very happy
04:41but
04:41it's a bit early
04:43to be talking about those things
04:46You gave a fantastic assist
04:48to Dominic Zoboslai
04:49in the first round
04:50of the Champions League
04:51who is injured now
04:52will you miss him
04:54in the next few matches
04:55and what does he mean
04:56to the team?
04:58Thank you
05:01Well thank you
05:03No Dom is a spectacular player
05:08as soon as I arrived here
05:10I saw that quality
05:11I'd already seen him on TV
05:13but you understand
05:14what type of player he is
05:15what he can give to the team
05:17he's very physical
05:18as well
05:19he's very technical too
05:20he's a really important player
05:22for us
05:22for our team
05:23for the way that we play
05:25but right now
05:26we can't have him
05:27in the side
05:29and I'm sure we'll miss him
05:30but also we have
05:32other players
05:33who can come in
05:34as I said
05:35we have great quality
05:36within our squad
05:37we have players
05:38who can
05:41come in his place
05:43for tomorrow's game
05:45those players
05:46that have been out
05:48so we have to
05:49look forward
05:50to the game tomorrow
05:51with a lot of joy
05:52and excitement
05:53Adam
05:54Hi Ronald
05:56How have you found
05:57the city
05:57the people
05:58is it different
05:59to what you've been
06:00used to before
06:01has it been quite
06:01a surprise to you
06:02just sort of
06:03acclimatizing in general
06:09No to be honest
06:10really really well
06:13when you come to
06:14I came from a big side
06:16as is Liverpool
06:17and I think people here
06:19it's almost like
06:20they're more intense
06:24when you go down
06:25the street
06:25when you go out
06:26to the centre
06:27of Liverpool
06:28or when you go out
06:29to eat something
06:29but that's lovely
06:32you see how they
06:33experience football
06:35themselves
06:36and I'll tell you
06:37I'm really happy here
06:38my family's very happy
06:40that's also very important
06:43and I'm just
06:44really hungry
06:45to go on
06:47in this season
06:47and give everything
06:50give the best
06:50that I can of myself
06:51continue to learn
06:52continue to grow
06:53as a player
06:54which is what
06:54I've always wanted to do
06:57and I'm having
06:58that game time
06:59those minutes
07:00and that's what I want
07:01and then we'll see
07:01what happens
07:02and what I want
07:02for the future
07:03Hi Ronald
07:04you mentioned the fans
07:06earlier on
07:07and there's a phrase
07:08in football
07:08that fans
07:09should never fall in love
07:10with a lone player
07:11but it feels like
07:12the fans
07:12already
07:13have really taken
07:15to you
07:15and your passion
07:16and the way
07:18you commit
07:18to play in the game
07:19do you feel
07:20that relationship
07:21already with the fans
07:22is starting
07:23to grow
07:28yes of course
07:30and I'm very grateful
07:32it's a really important
07:33aspect
07:34to feel loved
07:36by the people
07:37by his fans
07:38ultimately
07:39as I always say
07:40I try to give
07:41the very best
07:42of myself
07:44I really feel
07:45represented
07:46by the fans
07:47when I go
07:47onto the pitch
07:48sometimes you play
07:50well
07:50sometimes you play
07:51badly
07:51but that's football
07:53but overall
07:54it's just about
07:54giving everything
07:56and that's what
07:57I'll always be doing
07:59I try to do that
08:00within every game
08:01and I'm very grateful
08:02to every single person
08:03because it's lovely
08:04for a player
08:04to go in
08:05and to be recognized
08:05in that way
08:09you seem to have
08:10fitted in
08:10really well
08:11since you arrived
08:12to the Premier League
08:13way of playing
08:14particularly
08:15when you consider
08:16that maybe
08:17some of your teammates
08:17have been here longer
08:18like Florian's
08:19been criticized
08:20for not adapting
08:21quickly
08:22and Bradley
08:23has already had
08:23criticism for
08:25maybe not
08:25contributing
08:26but before last week
08:27is it easier
08:28do you think
08:29as a defender
08:30to adapt
08:31to the demands
08:32of the Premier League
08:32than it is
08:33for other players
08:34I know you've only
08:35a limited experience
08:36but
08:40well
08:42coming to Liverpool
08:43a club like Liverpool
08:44it's not easy
08:46there are those demands
08:49those demands
08:50that responsibility
08:51personally
08:52I'd already experienced
08:53that in Barcelona
08:55and ultimately
08:56that's a
08:57huge club
08:58where there are
08:59huge demands
08:59where in every game
09:01you need to give
09:02your very best
09:04you play well
09:05in one game
09:06but you have to come back
09:07and do that again
09:07I think that depends
09:09on the personality
09:10of each player
09:10and how they
09:11affront that challenge
09:13personally
09:15I knew it was a challenge
09:17coming to the Premier League
09:18a new challenge
09:19but from the first
09:20moment I arrived
09:22I had no doubts
09:23that I had to give
09:24everything him
09:26and that's how I live it
09:27that's how I experience it
09:28I try and enjoy it
09:31as I've said
09:31it's not easy
09:33to be in big sides
09:36that's what we came to do
09:37and that's the work
09:38we have to do
09:43Hi Ronald
09:44you were a leader
09:45during your time
09:45at Barcelona
09:46and Donny Arrola
09:48said that he's
09:48encouraged you
09:49to learn English
09:50so you could
09:51pass on some of your
09:52experience
09:52to some of your teammates
09:54how impressed
09:55have you been
09:55with some of the
09:56younger players
09:56you've played
09:57alongside the likes
09:58of Jeremy
09:58and Rio
09:59and how is your
10:00English coming along?
10:05well I'm studying
10:07English
10:08but yeah it's
10:09important what the
10:09manager says
10:10because at the end
10:11of the day
10:12I can bring things
10:14to the team
10:16what I am
10:17what I know
10:18even if I say it in
10:19Spanish
10:20but in football
10:21there's a universal
10:23language
10:24where if you have to
10:25shout at someone
10:25you're going to
10:26understand it in the
10:26same way
10:27but I'm studying
10:29to learn
10:31to continue
10:32to grow
10:32to develop
10:33to assist the group
10:36and of course
10:37we have wonderful
10:38young players
10:41you know if I could
10:42talk about them
10:42now I'd be
10:43talking about them
10:45all the time
10:46but in the game
10:47I say to Rio
10:48to Jeremy
10:48well done
10:49good in English
10:51we've got Kumas
10:52other great players
10:54I think they have
10:55great quality
10:56our young players
10:57and they bring
10:58a great deal
10:59to the team
11:00and I'm sure
11:01they will bring
11:02a great future
11:03for this club
11:04which is the most
11:04important thing
11:05thank you
11:06gracias
11:07thank you
