00:00:26They're in the sacred ground!
00:00:35Hey, Ranga!
00:00:38How's that? Pretty good, right?
00:00:42A knight who throws away her blade? Some knight you are.
00:00:45Okay, so I'm a knight now. Can you knight me?
00:00:51Celeste, you are the most gifted swordswoman I have ever known,
00:00:54but the Codex of the Radiance dictates that only knights may bestow nightshed upon others.
00:00:59Women can never become knights.
00:01:11Neil, Lady Celeste.
00:01:18The world may turn a woman away, but chivalry never will.
00:01:25Every last corner! Split up and cut the area!
00:01:29Go! Hide! Do not come out!
00:01:31I'm staying with you!
00:01:32Don't be ridiculous!
00:01:34The Codex has no mercy. The Patriarch will show none either.
00:01:38Not if it means saving the house.
00:01:39You must never tell anyone you learned the Codex Dracus. Never!
00:02:00Ranga, you trespassed into the Forbidden Grounds to learn the sword.
00:02:05You even stole the Codex Dracus. Do you confess?
00:02:10Confess what? I learned the sword, so what? I am a daughter of House Vanguard, learning our own ancestral bladecraft.
00:02:19How is that theft?
00:02:20Aldric, this is your own daughter. You say the words. The Holy Psy awaits your answer.
00:02:28Let the Patriarch pass judgment! Let the Patriarch pass judgment!
00:02:35Let the Patriarch pass judgment! Let the Patriarch pass judgment!
00:02:42Let the Patriarch pass judgment! Let the Patriarch pass judgment!
00:02:46Let the Patriarch pass judgment!
00:02:47Father, please, spare my sister!
00:02:51Swords were forged for men's hand. A woman's hand belongs to the ladle and the needle.
00:02:56To take up the blade is to transgress. For the sake of this house, that the Holy Say may not
00:03:01cast us out, I must cleanse your sin!
00:03:05To hell with the Radiant Codex! What gives it the right to decide that women cannot learn the sword?
00:03:11Get out, Celeste!
00:03:14Get out! I do not need a child pleading for me! Go!
00:03:19Ranga Vanguard, from this day forth, I strip you of your knightly craft and your arcane core.
00:03:28So shall the Holy See know that this house has never betrayed the Faith.
00:03:52With the
00:03:53Firefighters,RIX gatling away,
00:03:53Let me go! Let me go, Aunty!
00:04:00Health bureaucracy,
00:04:13Auntie!
00:04:15No!
00:04:32Aunty!
00:04:39Aunt, I'll carry on your legacy and see this through.
00:04:42Get in!
00:04:52Keep running.
00:04:53Don't stop.
00:04:54Fleeing when outmatched, is that the measure of House Vanguard?
00:04:58Have you lost your minds?
00:04:59This is Vanguard territory!
00:05:01How dare you cause trouble here!
00:05:04Vanguard territory?
00:05:06Oh, your house was something once, I'll grant you.
00:05:09Everyone gave way back then.
00:05:11But after that little scandal eight years ago,
00:05:13you've been the laughingstock of the entire knightly class.
00:05:16Even the Holy Sane won't look at you, and you threaten me.
00:05:25Let you off?
00:05:26Sure, crawl under me.
00:05:27Then we are done.
00:05:29You're dreaming!
00:05:33Hold him down.
00:05:36All right, let's get down.
00:05:38All right, let's get down on the deck.
00:05:40All right, let's get down on the deck.
00:05:53And burn down the deck...
00:05:53Right, let's a group up.
00:05:55Now that's what we're looking for.
00:05:57Left high.
00:05:59That's what we're looking for.
00:06:01It's a pretty good thing.
00:06:01We've to be looking for our heroes in the room.
00:06:02You're looking for their heroes in the city.
00:06:02We're being a hero.
00:06:02No, this will be a hero of the supernatural.
00:06:11Fall! Fall back! Retreat!
00:06:24Come with me.
00:06:35When did you sneak off to learn sword? How dare you den knights plate and brawl within our household territory?
00:06:42Lucky I got here before Caelan spotted you.
00:06:47I've... I've been learning it in secret all along.
00:06:53What? Have you forgotten what becomes of a woman who takes up the sword? Have you forgotten what happened to
00:06:58your auntie?
00:06:59This is unfair. I am a woman. So what?
00:07:04Those men I've just driven off, were they not men? Did I not best them all?
00:07:10Don't say it again. You could best ten men, a hundred men, and it would not matter.
00:07:16The Codex is the Codex. The Holy See will never recognize you. This house will never recognize you. You will
00:07:23never, ever be a knight.
00:07:25I draw my blade for the defenseless. For my home. For those who cannot fight for themselves. If that is
00:07:32not a knight, then what is?
00:07:34Being a knight is not as simple as you imagine.
00:07:36How will I know unless I try?
00:07:39Very well. You want to try?
00:07:46These three guardians were forged from abyssin stone. For a hundred years, they have repelled every foe who set foot
00:07:51in this corridor.
00:07:53None have ever broken them. Even I can barely hold my own against them.
00:08:02Watch.
00:08:19Go on and try.
00:08:20Let it show you the truth.
00:08:22Let it show you the truth.
00:08:26Let it show you the truth.
00:08:33The Codex of Holy Radiant Knights.
00:08:35Heaviest stone and fiercest flame. Valiant in frame.
00:08:41This is the art of the blade.
00:08:43Forged for a man's body, a man's strength.
00:08:55Do you see now?
00:08:57That is the distance between you and a true knight.
00:08:59Lord Cassian, the patriarch summons you and the young lady to the Great Hall.
00:09:04Go change out of that armor.
00:09:06Now!
00:09:08Celeste!
00:09:09Let it show you the truth.
00:09:12Let it show you the truth.
00:09:23Let it show you the truth.
00:09:24Let it show you the truth.
00:09:26Let it show you the truth.
00:09:26Let it show you the truth.
00:09:29Let it show you the truth.
00:09:29Let it show you the truth.
00:09:29Let it show you the truth.
00:09:29Let it show you the truth.
00:09:29Let it show you the truth.
00:09:31Let it show you the truth.
00:09:31Let it show you the truth.
00:09:33Let it show you the truth.
00:09:34Let it show you the truth.
00:09:49Celeste!
00:09:50Cassian!
00:09:56Celeste, Vanguard.
00:09:58You have learned the sword in secret and transgressed the Codec.
00:10:02Do you confess?
00:10:03No!
00:10:06I learned it.
00:10:07And I stand by my choice.
00:10:10Eight years ago, Ragnar committed the same sin.
00:10:13I stripped her of her power with my own hands, and that was the only thing that saved this house
00:10:17from ruin.
00:10:18And now, another woman of this house has taken up the blade in secret!
00:10:26Father, let me bear her punishment.
00:10:28All of it.
00:10:30I beg you, she's your only granddaughter.
00:10:33Do not beg for her.
00:10:34Now, stripper of her knightly craft and her arcane core, show the church that House Vand remains pure in its
00:10:40faith.
00:10:42I never had to go to her.
00:10:45I didn't realize she's your favorite name.
00:10:45Oh, my God.
00:10:46I don't know.
00:10:47I don't know.
00:10:56I don't know.
00:11:09Oh, my God.
00:11:37Cassian, have you taken leave of your senses?
00:11:40You dare defy the Patriot, betray your own blood?
00:11:45Eight years ago, I could not protect my sister, and this is what became of her.
00:11:49Today, I swear I will not let my daughter share her fate.
00:11:53Let her leave this place in safety, and you may do with me as you will.
00:12:04Cassian, if you walk out that door, you are no son of mine.
00:12:10Forgive me, Father, but I am taking Celeste away from here.
00:12:17Seize them!
00:12:38Banquered at House Vanguard, and no one told me.
00:12:55Gareth Draven, you burn my house banners.
00:12:59You bring Holy See Elder into my hall, unbid.
00:13:03Does the Holy See know what you have done here today?
00:13:06House Vanguard's banners?
00:13:09Your house has been a stain on the knightly order for years.
00:13:13That ragged cloth should have been burnt long ago.
00:13:18Aldric, you are old.
00:13:20You lack the strength to command your house.
00:13:23The Holy See's favor has left you.
00:13:24Your honor is spent.
00:13:26The Holy See has decided House Draven shall assume all rights and dominion over Vanguard lands.
00:13:33House Vanzard has remained wholly faithful to the Holy See.
00:13:36The See's will is not to be questioned.
00:13:40And if I refuse...
00:13:48Refuse with what?
00:13:50With those soft knights behind you?
00:13:54Mind your mouth!
00:13:57Aldric, I'll be honest with you.
00:13:59A few years ago, I would have fled at your shadow.
00:14:03But now, you're old.
00:14:08And old men are useless.
00:14:15That said, Aldric, I have always admired you.
00:14:18Truly, when the Codex demanded it, you crippled your own daughter with your bare hands.
00:14:29For that, I shall grant you an honorable resolution.
00:14:32Per the Holy See's law, judgment by the Divine.
00:14:36You and your men, against me, and three of my elite knights, should you prevail?
00:14:43I withdraw with my people, never to set foot on Vanguard domain ever again.
00:14:48But if you lose, everything House Vanguard owns becomes mine.
00:15:03I accept.
00:15:07The enemy is here.
00:15:09Stay or leave.
00:15:10Your choice.
00:15:20All right.
00:15:22Who's first?
00:15:23Kaolin of House Vanguard.
00:15:25Let the Radiants bear witness to this duel.
00:15:54Aldric, this is of the younger you have raised?
00:15:56There are no true knights left among them.
00:16:01These men are formidable.
00:16:03Our young ones cannot match them.
00:16:04I will have to fight.
00:16:05If I win, perhaps your grandfather will show you mercy.
00:16:09His footwork is masterful.
00:16:11Kaolin's loss was no shame.
00:16:12But it has flaws.
00:16:13Let me fight.
00:16:14I can win.
00:16:16You.
00:16:17What, you think you can master a man's hard-won skill just by watching from the sidelines?
00:16:20Exactly.
00:16:21What could a woman possibly do?
00:16:23You are not even a knight courting death.
00:16:28Not a word.
00:16:29You will not fight.
00:16:31If they discover you are a woman, the Holy See will declare you a heretic and execute you on the
00:16:35spot.
00:16:36You and this entire house, destroyed.
00:16:41Who is next?
00:16:43Surely you have not run out of challenges already.
00:16:46Father, let me stand.
00:16:49What are you thinking about?
00:16:51If I win, I would ask the house to spare my daughter.
00:16:55You dare threaten me with that.
00:16:56I am not dead yet.
00:16:58This house does not lack for fighting men.
00:17:09Yes!
00:17:10Victory is ours!
00:17:12No.
00:17:13Grandfather will lose.
00:17:14What would a woman know of such matters?
00:17:17Exactly.
00:17:17She has barely held a sword, and she presumes to critique true knights.
00:17:39Father!
00:17:41Patriarch?
00:17:42The Patriarch could not evade that?
00:17:43Could he not even see through the man's footwork?
00:17:46No.
00:17:47He saw it.
00:17:49But his body could not keep up with his mind.
00:17:52In the end, age has claimed him.
00:17:58This?
00:17:58This is it!
00:18:00The old lion of vanguard, nothing but a mouthful of broken teeth.
00:18:06Father, let me take this fight.
00:18:09If I win, I beg you, please spare Celeste.
00:18:20I'll give it to you, please.
00:18:22The past is now in the U.S.
00:18:25The King.
00:18:25And in the U.S.
00:18:27I beg you, please.
00:18:28The King.
00:18:28The King.
00:18:28And in the U.S.
00:18:34The King.
00:18:34The King.
00:18:36And in the U.S.
00:18:44Patriarch lost.
00:18:46And Cassian is a great sword knight, slower than any other.
00:18:49How can he possibly win?
00:18:58This fight, it is hopeless.
00:19:02No, father will win.
00:19:05This fight is not about speed.
00:19:07Patience, and the right moment to strike, that is what matters.
00:19:10Anyone can talk a good fight from the sidelines.
00:19:13Get you in the ring.
00:19:14I doubt you could even lift the sword.
00:19:34He won!
00:19:35He won!
00:19:38He actually won.
00:19:39One strike.
00:19:40Just one strike!
00:19:41Yeah!
00:19:46Oh.
00:19:47I did not expect.
00:19:49House Vanguard still has someone who can fight.
00:19:51There is much you do not expect.
00:19:57We shall see how long you keep that time.
00:19:59We shall see how long you keep that time.
00:20:12Oh, my God.
00:20:42Father!
00:20:45Do not fret. I am still standing.
00:20:51I grant you your strength, Cassian.
00:20:54But you can't last much longer.
00:20:57Spare me your pranel.
00:20:59Next.
00:21:01Very well. Enough of these children's game.
00:21:05Let us show you what true power is.
00:21:08Father, let me stand. Please.
00:21:14I am proud of you, Celeste.
00:21:17For having the courage to step forward.
00:21:20But this is not a fight for you.
00:21:22Stand down.
00:21:23I will not stand by and watch you die.
00:21:26House Vanguard's so desperate now.
00:21:29They're letting kids who can barely lift a sword come die for them?
00:21:39Father, what are you doing?
00:21:41Why are you putting null magic shackles on me?
00:21:45This belonged to your mother.
00:21:47I had meant to give it to you on your wedding day.
00:21:51Father, what are you saying?
00:21:53You are poisoned.
00:21:54You cannot fight anymore.
00:21:55Do not worry.
00:21:56I will win.
00:21:58I will protect you.
00:22:00I promise.
00:22:03Take her away.
00:22:05Father!
00:22:12Father!
00:22:20Don't play with your food.
00:22:22End it quick.
00:22:23End it quick.
00:23:03Oh, no.
00:23:04Oh, no.
00:23:07Let's go.
00:23:08Oh, no.
00:23:08Oh, shit.
00:23:13Oh, no.
00:23:17Oh, no.
00:23:21Oh, no.
00:23:46Father!
00:23:48Father!
00:23:58Father!
00:24:00Father!
00:24:01Stop!
00:24:02I confess.
00:24:04I will take the punishment.
00:24:05Please, no more!
00:24:07You would take it.
00:24:09I will not.
00:24:11Pull her back.
00:24:16Father, please, stop.
00:24:28Father!
00:24:30Cassian Vanguard is the last card your house has, isn't it?
00:24:34Father, please, no more!
00:24:36For your filial piety, I will be merciful.
00:24:39I will give your father a chance.
00:24:43Endure until the sand runs out without falling,
00:24:47and I will call it your victory.
00:24:49What say you?
00:24:51Those are your words.
00:24:55Father, you made me a promise.
00:24:58If I win, you will spare Celeste.
00:25:07No.
00:25:11Please, no!
00:25:26I cannot fall.
00:25:28Not until the sand runs out.
00:25:30Three strikes!
00:25:32Send him!
00:25:36Father!
00:25:38No!
00:25:48No!
00:25:49Please, no!
00:25:56Three.
00:26:03Father!
00:26:04I confess.
00:26:05I will take the punishment.
00:26:06Just stop!
00:26:09Just a little more.
00:26:11I cannot fall here.
00:26:14Father!
00:26:14Yield!
00:26:15I beg you, stop fighting!
00:26:19Two.
00:26:20Two.
00:26:24Mom.
00:26:26One!
00:26:27And one.
00:26:29One.
00:26:32Two.
00:26:33Two.
00:26:34Two.
00:26:37Two.
00:26:42Two.
00:26:45One.
00:26:46Two.
00:26:47Two.
00:26:54One.
00:26:58Father!
00:27:02Father, please no more.
00:27:08Why did Grandfather do that to Auntie?
00:27:10Is she not his own daughter?
00:27:15Father, will you ever do the same to Soliste?
00:27:20No, never.
00:27:24I will always be with you.
00:27:26I will always protect you.
00:27:33Forgive me, Soliste.
00:27:38Father, I can no longer protect you.
00:27:41No.
00:27:47Cassian!
00:27:48If you walk out that door, you are no son of mine!
00:27:52Forgive me, Father, but I am taking Soliste away from here.
00:28:01If any of you lay another hand on my father, I will destroy every last one of you!
00:28:10You?
00:28:12Oh, I am so scared!
00:28:14I am so scared!
00:28:17I will do more than lay a hand on him.
00:28:19I will watch him die!
00:28:25Over!
00:28:30Die!
00:28:34Die!
00:28:37Die!
00:28:39Die!
00:28:43Die!
00:28:46Die!
00:29:01You die first.
00:29:18You caught death.
00:29:43She defeated him.
00:29:45So easily, a man even Cassian could not overcome.
00:29:48But is she not a woman?
00:29:53Since when did House Vanguard breed a lad this formidable?
00:30:03Kid, you have some talent.
00:30:07How about serving me?
00:30:09Name your price.
00:30:12Let!
00:30:13A title?
00:30:14Gold?
00:30:17Women?
00:30:19Whatever House Vandlar can't give you, I can!
00:30:23Sticking with a dying house?
00:30:25That's not a future.
00:30:26Good.
00:30:28He still does not know I am a woman.
00:30:30I cannot risk speaking again.
00:30:32So, you're refusing me?
00:30:40You brought this upon yourselves.
00:30:55Dragon!
00:30:57Once more, become my power!
00:31:28He's a dragon!
00:31:30How could he possess this?
00:31:31He has the power of a dragon!
00:31:33Despair?
00:31:34Thank your own ancestors for this.
00:31:36The ones who slay that dragon.
00:31:43Only now can I devour its heart.
00:31:47Only now can I devour its heart and claim its power.
00:31:49Now.
00:31:50Do you have any last words?
00:32:09What a pity.
00:32:10With her talent, if only someone had taught her sooner, her potential would have been limitless.
00:32:16Grandfather, it's not too late to teach her now.
00:32:29Let thy flesh become living flame!
00:32:33Pour thy magic deep into every limb!
00:32:51This is blazing flash step.
00:32:54Aldrich's signature movement technique from his youth.
00:32:57Let flames dance upon my blade.
00:33:00Let every strike roar like thunder!
00:33:03Let flames take form!
00:33:06Let blade become a fiery dragon!
00:33:39You cannot even wield the dragon slayer sword art, yet you still dare challenge me?
00:33:45How foolish.
00:33:47Now all that remains is to wipe out House Vanguard, the descendants of the dragon slowing knights.
00:33:54With the dragon's power coursing through me, I shall be invincible.
00:34:00Knights of House Vanguard, fight him to the death!
00:34:22Dragon slayer sword art isn't about brute force for a one hit kill, nor is it about fancy tricks.
00:34:27It's about relentless, precise strikes.
00:34:30In an instant, you need to strike a hundred times, a thousand times, all along the exact same path.
00:34:38Blade and Edge.
00:34:40One day, even dragons will fear you.
00:34:46All along the exact same path, Blade and Edge.
00:35:00Ar больше of two steps.
00:35:00I am not an imperfection.
00:35:01Tie them années.
00:35:11That weakens would fear it payed.
00:35:14The name Only Final War rate nor tech could be workout in Get jugs against ore fun.
00:35:27I don't know.
00:35:53Who? Who are you?
00:35:56Where did such a warrior arise from House Vanguard?
00:35:59Why have I never known of you across all these years?
00:36:02She actually did it.
00:36:04Our ancestors, Dragon Street, are sword art. Reborn in her hands.
00:36:09The cruel fate that she is female, if Ghast finds her true identity, all is ruined.
00:36:14Grandfather, don't worry. No one will ever know she's a woman.
00:36:19I have served the Holy Sight for over 40 years.
00:36:22I never thought I would live to see the Dragon Slasher sword art with my own eyes.
00:36:28House Vanguard truly is the Dragon Slayer's bloodline.
00:36:31After this battle, the entire knightly class will have to reconsider their standard.
00:36:45You're back, Celeste!
00:36:58House Vanguard, how dare you!
00:37:01Training a woman in the sword art and putting her on a sacred dutying arena of divine judgment!
00:37:06This is a blatant desecration of the Codex of Holy Radiant.
00:37:10A desecration of knightly honor itself!
00:37:15Eldritch, give the Holy Sea your explanation.
00:37:18Has your house abandoned knightly honor?
00:37:21According to the Codex of Holy Radiant, a woman touching the sword art is an affront to the divine.
00:37:27The offender shall be stripped of her arcanic core.
00:37:30Her house shall be stripped of its knightly title, cast out from the Holy Sea's protection, and never permitted to
00:37:38rise again!
00:37:40Garrus!
00:37:40You couldn't beat a woman in a fight, so now you resort to this filthy...
00:37:44Filthy!
00:37:45The Codex is the Codex!
00:37:48Knightly honor is built upon iron law, not upon a woman's skirt.
00:37:52You didn't remember a thing about honor when you were butchering House Vanguard on this arena, but when a woman
00:37:58brings you to your knees, suddenly you remember knightly dickens you.
00:38:03Silence!
00:38:05You have no right to speak of knights. You lack even the right to be one.
00:38:12You hold honor the knight's due, yet honor springs not from man's flesh alone.
00:38:18If honor be for males only, if honor wear an Adam's bite, this is no honor, but tyranny.
00:38:27So what?
00:38:30As long as you are of House Vanguard, you will obey the Codex.
00:38:33You and your house, not one of you will escape.
00:38:37I am taking House Vanguard out of here today.
00:38:41Let anyone who dares stop me try.
00:38:47House Vanguard, do you mean to defy the Holy Side?
00:38:50Enough.
00:38:56Celeste, lower your sword.
00:38:59Our grandfather?
00:39:02Celeste, you speak the truth.
00:39:05A knight's honor lies not in his flesh, nor in the sword he strikes with.
00:39:10Honor lives in the ones he stands to protect.
00:39:13I can protect all of you!
00:39:14And the herdsmen on our lands, the boatmen, the farmers, what of them?
00:39:20They should not be buried for our choices.
00:39:22I am the head of this house.
00:39:25Every commoner on our soil is my responsibility.
00:39:39Elder, the sin of Celestia, let me, as head of the house, bear it in her stead.
00:39:55As the father of the offender, I too must bear the punishment.
00:40:00Father!
00:40:03Celeste, I have wronged you all these years, forcing you to suppress your talent.
00:40:09Forcing you to live against your own nature.
00:40:12From this day forward,
00:40:14We're free.
00:40:17By the Codex, a woman's sword sin.
00:40:19The Patriarch bears her punishment.
00:40:21Thirty splashes.
00:40:23The father, twenty.
00:40:24Done now.
00:40:25Death is no objection.
00:40:26No!
00:40:27This is my sin!
00:40:29Punish me!
00:40:41I, Celeste of House Vanguard, accept the punishment.
00:40:46Don't be foolish!
00:40:48You're just a child!
00:40:49What do you think you're doing?
00:40:53Don't worry.
00:40:54Your father is a great sword knight.
00:40:57Thick-skinned and tough.
00:40:58Those whips can't hurt me.
00:41:01This started because of me.
00:41:04It must end with me.
00:41:07A true knight never hides behind others.
00:41:11You taught me that.
00:41:16Gareth Draven.
00:41:17I, Celeste of House Vanguard, accept the punishment.
00:41:24But,
00:41:26I won this duel of divine judgment.
00:41:28You lost.
00:41:30You will leave Vanguard lands.
00:41:32Now.
00:41:34Of course.
00:41:35A loss is a loss.
00:41:36I accept it.
00:41:37As long as you submit to your punishment,
00:41:40I will withdraw my men at once.
00:41:44Not a moment longer.
00:41:47I don't trust you.
00:41:50I don't trust you.
00:41:53The Church Elders can vouch for me.
00:41:56Isn't that right, Honored Elders?
00:42:05The Church of the Holy Radiance never tolerates a broken oath.
00:42:12You may rest assured.
00:42:17This is the arena of divine judgment.
00:42:20Any oath sworn here is protected by the Church.
00:42:24Should anyone dare to break it, the Church will strip him of everything by its own hand.
00:42:29The Church of the Holy Radiance.
00:42:30Not enough.
00:42:31I want you to swear an oath.
00:42:35By the Holy Radiance, I, Gareth Draven, swear to keep my word.
00:42:40Satisfied?
00:42:45Satisfied?
00:42:47What?
00:42:52In the name of the warrior, I charge you to be bold.
00:42:57In the name of the shield, I charge you to protect the young and the innocent.
00:43:07In the name of the night, I charge you to be unstoppable.
00:43:30Celeste, no!
00:43:46Gareth, leave. Now.
00:43:47Celeste, no!
00:43:49Gareth, leave. Now.
00:44:01Fool. Did you really think I would keep my word?
00:44:09How naive. Now that you're completely crippled, no one can stand against me.
00:44:15Gareth Draven! You swore your oath upon this judgment ground. The Church's witness yet lingers in our ears. Will you
00:44:25now break your vow?
00:44:29Faith? The Church? I couldn't care less. The name of the Holy Radiance, the Iron Law of the Codex, mere
00:44:36chains to bind fools.
00:44:38I kill everyone here today, and tomorrow the Holy Psy will hear a perfect story. House Vanguard colluding with Herix,
00:44:46murdering elders, plotting apostasy. Who would dare speak a word against me?
00:45:00Gareth, you monster! Divine Rebecca will find you!
00:45:05Patience. Let me deal with this woman who dared defy her betters first. Then I'll deal with the rest of
00:45:11you.
00:45:12House Vanguard bears no blood for kneeling death. Charge with me!
00:45:25Gareth!
00:45:33Father!
00:45:46Mother!
00:45:47Father!
00:45:49Father!
00:45:50Father!
00:45:51Aegna, take her, and go! Whatever happens, protect Celestal.
00:46:10Where are they? Search! Tear the ground apart if you have to! Find her!
00:46:21A woman with her hands crippled and a witless wreck won't get far.
00:46:25Yes, sir!
00:46:31Celestal, protect Celestal.
00:46:35Ragnar, take her, and go! Whatever happens, protect Celestal.
00:46:51Aunty, enough. Put me down. Save yourself. Protect Celestal. Protect Celestal.
00:47:03I'm done. Grandfather is dead. Father, Callan, all of them. Just go, Aunty. Leave me. Please.
00:47:15Footprints. They are near.
00:47:22Aunty, listen to me. You run alone. You still have a chance. Or we both die here.
00:47:30Ragnar, take her, and go! Whatever happens, protect Celestal.
00:47:40Protect Celestal.
00:47:41Protect Celestal.
00:47:46Do not come out. Stay here.
00:47:51Aunty, what in the-
00:47:53What in the-
00:48:12I thought she was something. All show, no steal.
00:48:15I thought she was something. All show, no steal.
00:48:20You want to die!
00:48:37Tell me. Where is that woman?
00:48:42Protect Celest.
00:48:47Run! That way! Go! Go!
00:48:51No!
00:49:05Aunty, kept you safe.
00:49:08This time.
00:49:10No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!
00:49:27David upper! No! No! NO! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!
00:49:30No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!
00:49:30Run then!
00:49:31γ- mo! No! No!
00:49:31Do I stop!
00:49:32Come back nicely with us. We might leave you a whole corpse.
00:49:37Tell Gaffry-Drepan as long as Celestia vanguard draws breath.
00:49:41He had best keep his neck washed!
00:49:56from this height a broken thing with no magic left the fall or the current will kill her she
00:50:02won't live report back tell the Lord
00:50:25still breathing you're hard to kill

00:52:36your body no longer needs an arcane core you draw on the elements directly in
00:52:42theory, but...
00:53:13That way! Go!
00:53:22Stop! Stop it now!
00:53:27I... I only moved it a little.
00:53:28A little?
00:53:30You think you are still that ordinary mage?
00:53:32You are a walking staff.
00:53:34Every move is high magic.
00:53:37I'm going out to fetch some water. Stay put.
00:53:42Here! The magic light came from this direction.
00:53:48Well, well. It's you.
00:53:51Didn't expect this little bonus.
00:53:53Sybil, ten years a fugitive.
00:53:55Hiding right under our noses.
00:53:59Caesar!
00:54:08You think a new name hides you?
00:54:10You should have stayed home, had children and cooked meals.
00:54:14Instead you learned alchemy.
00:54:16That is your sin.
00:54:17I learned alchemy to cure the village children's fever.
00:54:21A dozen of them lived because of me.
00:54:22I only refused to marry the drunk my father chose.
00:54:25For that you hunted me ten years?
00:54:27Take your heretic's lies to the devil!
00:54:36Who... who are you?
00:54:38The one you seek.
00:54:40Take word back to Gareth Draven.
00:54:42Tell him Celesta Vanguard has returned.
00:54:49What will you do next?
00:54:51This place is burned.
00:54:52They will come again.
00:54:55Well, I can't stay here anyway.
00:54:57Might as well go with you.
00:55:02Attention!
00:55:03Attention!
00:55:04The Holy Seats decreed!
00:55:06House Vanguard, traitors to the church.
00:55:09Consorting with heretics, murdering elders, hiding a sword-bearing woman.
00:55:13Stripped of title.
00:55:15Exiled.
00:55:17Their daughter, Celeste Vanguard, witch, murderer of Lord Draven, killer of three elders.
00:55:22Reward one hundred gold for her whereabouts.
00:55:25Shelter her and suffer the same penalty.
00:55:28A hundred gold coins!
00:55:30Alive or dead!
00:55:31House Vanguard?
00:55:32The Dragonslayer's house?
00:55:34Long fall.
00:55:35I heard a woman named Celeste learn the sword, kill church elders.
00:55:38A woman with a sword?
00:55:39That is blasphemy!
00:55:40She deserves punishment.
00:55:42It's true.
00:55:43Lord Draven took their lands.
00:55:44Cleaning house for the Holy See.
00:55:46Not yet.
00:55:47Wait for the festival.
00:55:48Garrick will be there.
00:55:59Gathereth.
00:55:59How goes the work?
00:56:05Your holiness.
00:56:07The treason of House Vanguard.
00:56:09I bring more proof to your feet.
00:56:13Come forth.
00:56:22What is this?
00:56:23Do not be afraid, your holiness.
00:56:25My master is very pleased with your title.
00:56:28And he's very pleased with your body.
00:56:31So I must ask you.
00:56:34Give your body to my master.
00:56:37What?
00:56:47What?
00:56:58Good.
00:57:00This body is old.
00:57:01But it will serve.
00:57:04Welcome, my master.
00:57:09My lord.
00:57:11Your holiness.
00:57:12Urgent report.
00:57:13The search party has found Celeste Vanguard.
00:57:16She is still alive?
00:57:17Good.
00:57:19I will kill her myself.
00:57:22She will wish she had never been born.
00:57:42Wrong.
00:57:43What is it?
00:57:45His holiness.
00:57:47Something's wrong with his error.
00:57:51That's not the error of a living man.
00:57:59That is the breath of a homilis.
00:58:04Ten years ago, alchemy had a secret revival.
00:58:09Someone gathered the finest alchemists.
00:58:13They created the homilis and the fear.
00:58:17A thousand lives sacrificed to that experiment.
00:58:21After it was done, the summoner vanished.
00:58:24The homilis vanished.
00:58:26Then the church outlawed soul alchemy.
00:58:30My master.
00:58:31He couldn't bear what they were doing, so he ran.
00:58:33He told me the truth.
00:58:35That thing in the flask.
00:58:36It devours souls.
00:58:37Steals bodies.
00:58:38And it's almost immortal.
00:58:43Gareth.
00:58:45The one you seek.
00:58:46She is here.
00:59:03Celeste Vanguard.
00:59:05Show yourself.
00:59:06Celeste.
00:59:07The heretic who killed the church elders.
00:59:09A woman, they say.
00:59:11Learned the sword.
00:59:12Spit on the gods.
00:59:13Such a sinner dares come to the crown city.
00:59:15She curts death.
00:59:20Heretics!
00:59:21Get out of the crown city!
00:59:22Lord Draven!
00:59:24Kill her!
00:59:25You came.
00:59:26A broken thing.
00:59:27No hands.
00:59:28No magic.
00:59:30We came to die?
00:59:32Today, before all these witnesses, I will execute you myself.
00:59:37You blast better!
00:59:39This sword, for House Vanguard.
00:59:47Lord Draven.
00:59:48Lord Draven.
00:59:49Lord Draven was taken down by a woman.
00:59:51So easily.
01:00:10You are still so strong.
01:00:17Without my master's new gift, you might have killed me.
01:00:21Without my master's new gift, you might have killed me.
01:00:21Lord Draven.
01:00:22Lord Draven.
01:00:23He is not dead.
01:00:24His head came off.
01:00:26How is he still alive?
01:00:28A monster!
01:00:29A monster!
01:00:30Someone save us!
01:00:32All of you leave this place!
01:00:34You ruined our plan.
01:00:35You shamed me before my master!
01:00:38You shamed me before my master!
01:00:42No matter.
01:00:43I have no games to play.
01:00:45Get away!
01:00:52I we're out.
01:00:58I shot him in
01:01:10Why?
01:01:27Hush. It doesn't hurt at all.
01:01:30Father.
01:01:34Caelan. Grandfather.
01:01:36What's wrong? Go on. Chop!
01:01:39Isn't this what you wanted? Revenge? Come on! Chop off your grandfather's head, your fathers, your cousins, every last vanguard
01:01:48skull.
01:01:51Chop off your grandfather's head, your fathers, your cousins, every last vanguard skull.
01:01:57You turned them into...
01:01:59Took a lot of work turning them into this. Your father, strong will.
01:02:04Burned for three days and three nights before he finally took form.
01:02:07Your grandfather, even more stubborn, cursed me till his very last breath.
01:02:11Well then, what now? You kill them, or I kill you?
01:02:17Cell, stay, run.
01:02:32You drained their organic cause, their life force. You turned them into these things. Neither human nor monster.
01:02:41You drained their organic cause, their life force. You turned them into these things. Neither human nor monster.
01:02:49Look, they still recognize her.
01:02:52A father's love, a brother's love. How touching. So, what now? Kill them, or let me kill you?
01:03:21You...
01:03:23You...
01:03:27I yield! I yield!
01:03:34My lord! Save me! Please save me!
01:03:53Useless. Become part of me instead.
01:04:04You named Salata, yes?
01:04:13The last blood of House Vanguard.
01:04:17The heir of the Dragonshare Sword Art.
01:04:21And that little Syria forged you into a vessel for all elements.
01:04:26Perfect ingredients.
01:04:27So much better than that weakling Gareth.
01:04:33I'm sorry.
01:04:39I'm sorry.
01:04:41I'm sorry.
01:04:54I'm sorry.
01:05:06I'm sorry.
01:05:08The purpose before the end.
01:05:11Luring you out.
01:05:12Join me.
01:05:14Live forever with me.
01:05:16Rule this world with me.
01:05:19Your strength, my wisdom.
01:05:21No one will stop us.
01:05:23No.
01:05:28What a pity.
01:05:29You do not know what you face.
01:05:43I am the strongest thing in this world.
01:05:45No man can defeat me.
01:06:11No man can defeat me.
01:06:29A pity.
01:06:32I am a woman.
01:06:42I am a woman.
01:06:50Do not celebrate too soon.
01:06:51That thing, it is not a beast.
01:06:53Not a spell.
01:06:54Not anything that can be killed.
01:06:55It is the hunger of men.
01:06:58Greed.
01:06:59Ambition.
01:07:00The thirst for power.
01:07:02As long as there are those who hunger for power,
01:07:05it may return.
01:07:07Then we beat it again.
01:07:08No matter how many times.
01:07:12You really are.
01:07:17And what becomes of them?
01:07:38What becomes of them?
01:07:39There are many times that are going to be used to.
01:07:40There are many times that are there.
01:07:40We are not satisfied.
01:07:40The thirst for power.
01:07:41The thirst for power.
01:07:44The thirst for power.
01:07:46The thirst for power.
01:07:56Wait!
01:07:59Perhaps there is a way to turn them back.
01:08:04Only whatever it is, I will try.
01:08:09I knew you would say that.
01:08:34Stay in there a while, all of you.
01:08:42Come on.
01:08:52Come on.
01:08:57Celeste Vanguard!
01:09:00She saved us!
01:09:01She killed the monster!
01:09:03But she is a woman.
01:09:04How can a woman...
01:09:06I can do the monster.
01:09:07I don't know if I saw him.
01:09:12I don't know if I saw him.
01:09:12I don't know if I saw him.
01:09:13Let me know what to do.
01:09:16I don't know if I saw him.
01:09:17I learned everything.
01:09:17...but I'm not going to take care of him.
01:09:17I know how to take care of him.
