00:07Georgia.
00:07Following the match, Captain Chris Gay lauded his men for getting the better of England by nine wickets in the
00:12final and the lights.
00:14Absolutely man, I know I'm so happy for the guys, you know, remarkable winning championship team.
00:19So, you know, England played a very good game, I want to give England a big shout out as well,
00:22they have a tremendous tournament.
00:25Thanks to my guys, DJ Bravo, you know, Vice Captain, Chadwick Walton of the phenomenal, you know, tournament as well,
00:32and Lendell Simmons in the final.
00:33But credit got to go to the bowlers though, I think they really and truly set it up for us.
00:37Gale took a stunning catch of the bowling of Dwayne Bravo, which saw Joe Denley being dismissed for naught.
00:42According to Gale, he wanted to give it his all for the team.
00:45When it comes to this situation, you know, you kind of put out a little bit of extra energy.
00:49But at the same time, I was like, don't pull that muscle, Chris, don't pull that muscle.
00:52So, thank God, you know, everyone is actually safe going back home now.
00:56So, I'm just really happy with the win and, you know, season three, remember the name, rest in this.
01:01Looking back at the semi-final against Australia, Shiv Narayan Chandapal made a crucial match, winning 41, to take the
01:07Windies to the title match.
01:08As such, the Universe Boss was full of praise for the Tiger.
01:12It's good to see him on the field as well, you know, it's fantastic.
01:15He's the player coach for our team as well.
01:17But he was superb, man.
01:18And he's actually fitting well with the group.
01:20So, glad to have a man like Shiv Aran.
01:22Yeah, I mean, I was away, so I didn't really get to actually see the innings.
01:26But seeing the highlights, I'm just, I don't know, it just made me smile, to be honest with you.
01:29So, Shiv Narayan Chandapal, you might have to put the gears on next year again.
01:33The Windies were just dominant, and Gale felt the win was phenomenal.
01:37I know it's, you know, like a legend tournament, but this is always something special, you know, for the people
01:41in back home as well.
01:42West End is due with India, you know, two all in a T20 series as well.
01:46So, this is just fantastic for West End is cricket.
01:49England made 159 for seven before the men in Maroon responded with 165 for one from 17 overs.
01:56Based on the conditions, England captain Ravi Boparov felt his side should have scored a lot more runs.
02:01On this ground, you've got to get a minimum of 200, regardless of the pitch.
02:05It was a very, very good pitch.
02:06I thought the toss was quite big today.
02:08We went to bowl first, but it was a little bit in it early on.
02:11But I thought the West Indies were brilliant.
02:13The way they bowled, they were disciplined, and they made it really difficult for us.
02:16West Indies were described as the bogey side for England when it came to finals.
02:20And why couldn't the English cross the line this time around?
02:23Well, they're a good side.
02:24They bring their big players in, and they always turn up in the finals.
02:28You know, if you watch through the history of, especially this group of players,
02:32they've always turned up, especially in the late stages of the tournament, and they've done it again.
02:35This was the third edition of the World Championship of Legends,
02:39with the West Indies lifting their maiden title, which was first won by India in 2024,
02:44and then South Africa last year.
02:46We don't have to know how any tips export.
