01:43Hi, I'm Mrs Karen Uster. I'm a teacher here at Cedars Christian College. This is our fourth year of doing
01:50the annual bird count.
01:51The reason I try to encourage so many students to participate in the bird count is that we make maths
01:57real by collecting data and being a part of citizen science.
02:02But also it gets us out into the environment. We have a beautiful school environment here, beautiful birds at the
02:08moment.
02:08We've got some taunting frogmouth, magpies and so I just really love it when the students get out here, enjoy
02:15nature.
02:16I love being out here with them and it's just a great experience to be a part of.
02:20I love being them and I love.
