00:15Detroit with a lead
00:16Pistons are back today
00:18they'll be the first game of the NBA season
00:20against the Celtics
00:21with a 3 o'clock tip
00:23playing lead off
00:26now we're talking to the right people
00:28people listening to us right now
00:30might actually be able to watch this game at home
00:33yeah
00:34and I absolutely love
00:37when we have sporting events
00:38during the week or weekends
00:41but we traditionally do on the weekends
00:43midday
00:44I love it
00:45and it's really the only reason that I watched
00:48any of the World Cup
00:50and whether it's
00:52maybe it's more some of the obscure sports
00:54we're starting to see it now
00:55in the four main sports
00:59I love the fact that at 3 o'clock
01:01I know that hey
01:03kids get home from school
01:04I can have the game on
01:06you know
01:06Teddy's having a snack
01:08we're sitting there watching the Pistons
01:09I can talk to him about the Pistons
01:11it's really the only time
01:13for some of the
01:15younger fans
01:15if they're developing younger fans
01:17these leagues
01:18to be able to watch some of these games
01:20game will be done by 6
01:23it's amazing
01:24we like it
01:25we're the early crew
01:27248-539-9797
01:29how do you feel about the Pistons
01:30being the first game
01:31a 3 o'clock start
01:32and it's so easy
01:33to stream games
01:35and all the sports
01:37not just you know
01:38Pistons
01:38it's really all sports
01:39it's so easy to stream it
01:41so even if you're not home
01:42it is something that you can have
01:44in your cubicle
01:46you can have it at your workstation
01:48and even if it's not
01:50you know
01:50the main thing
01:51that you're doing
01:52I know there's a lot of people
01:54that have us going
01:55as they start their workday
01:57in their office
01:58it'd be the same thing
01:59with the game
01:59you can have it going
02:01you can hear Rick
02:01and the crew
02:02yeah
02:03Mark Champion
02:04got the whole thing going
02:06got some text by the way
02:07on Heather Park
02:08uh-huh
02:09yes
02:10very particular
02:12has there ever been
02:13a perfect weather day
02:14for you
02:15oh I'm sure
02:15the weather is fine
02:17the weather's been great
02:18oh it's just
02:19yeah
02:19I just thought
02:20I'd find something
02:21to complain about
02:22Heather
02:22fall foliage
02:23doesn't occur
02:24in southeast Michigan
02:25until later this month
02:26there's even a map online
02:27for you to track it
02:29great
02:29you could bring
02:30perfect weather
02:31to Heather
02:31on a silver platter
02:32and she would complain
02:33about the shine
02:34signed J
02:36that platter
02:36is just not shiny enough
02:37Lake Orion
02:38to Kalamazoo
02:39yesterday
02:39the trees
02:40were stunning
02:41not sure
02:41what Heather's
02:42looking at
02:42I've seen
02:43gorgeous colors
02:44already
02:44I know
02:45I look out
02:45my back window
02:46we got a little forest
02:47behind us
02:47and I've just
02:50multiple days now
02:51I'm like wow
02:52it's beautiful
02:53wow
02:53because there are
02:54still a lot of greens
02:55and it makes
02:56it makes some of the
02:57the early trees
02:58that have turned
02:59some of the aspen
03:00or no aspen
03:00will be one of the
03:01later ones
03:01but some of the early ones
03:02that you know
03:03some yellows
03:03that are out there
03:04right now
03:04a little bit
03:05a hint of red
03:05it makes those
03:07pop even more
03:09when you have the
03:10backdrop of so many
03:11green ones still
03:12May 2nd
03:131999
03:14perfect weather
03:15day
03:16and Heather's
03:16been chasing
03:17the dragon
03:17ever since
03:20Heather leaves
03:21change due to
03:21shorter daylight
03:22cool nights
03:23and sunny fall
03:24days can help
03:25produce especially
03:26vivid red colors
03:28yeah
03:28so just wait
03:29we don't have
03:29says bridezilla
03:30can never be
03:31satisfied
03:31Jojo
03:32so I guess
03:33my advice
03:33to you Heather
03:34was for fall
03:35would be
03:36let it play out
03:37oh god
03:38just keep waiting
03:41oops
03:41wrong one
03:44I just saw
03:45the word out
03:47there's a lot
03:48of joff drops
03:49nuts
03:50mmm
03:52can you pull
03:53that one for me
03:54alright
03:55before we get
03:55to her news
03:56we'll do
03:56factor fiction
03:57on the pistons
03:58later in the show
03:58what's the one
03:59thing you're most
03:59looking forward
04:00to seeing today
04:01uh
04:04wow
04:05that's a
04:05that's a loaded
04:06question
04:07alright
04:08Jalen Durant
04:10probably the most
04:11and it's
04:13but then I
04:14say that out loud
04:15and I think
04:16what regular season
04:16Jalen Durant
04:17I don't really
04:18care
04:20can I give you
04:21mine
04:21maybe
04:22okay go ahead
04:23this is a classic
04:24I asked you a
04:24question that I
04:25already had an
04:25answer to
04:26and now you're
04:26I want to see
04:28Asar Thompson
04:29play on ball
04:30a little more
04:31and see what
04:31that can open
04:32up offensively
04:33in the half
04:33court
04:33I want to see
04:34his overall
04:34growth but also
04:35with the ball
04:36and maybe we
04:36see a little
04:37bit of that
04:37today against
04:38the Celtics
04:38yeah
04:40I agree with
04:41that I would
04:41like to see
04:42and maybe it's
04:42I want to see
04:43if there's any
04:44development in
04:45Jalen Durant's
04:45game what has
04:46he been doing
04:46since he's been
04:47out did you hear
04:48about some
04:48three-point shots
04:49he's adding
04:50oh no
04:51okay TBD
04:52wait till we
04:53see it
04:54he can shoot
04:55all he wants
04:55he kind of
04:56got to hit
04:56something
04:57at some point
04:59but yeah
05:00Asar Thompson
05:01I want to see
05:02is he taking
05:03the necessary
05:04steps that this
05:05team needs
05:06Jalen Durant
05:07I also want
05:07to see how
05:08JB is going
05:10to work
05:10some of the
05:11rotations
05:11what does it
05:12look like
05:12with John
05:13Collins versus
05:14Tobias Harris
05:15what does it
05:15look like
05:16with Isaiah
05:16Joe
05:16coming off
05:17the bench
05:18you know
05:19he's supposed
05:19to be this
05:20great marksman
05:20Duncan Robinson
05:21I'd like for
05:22him to start
05:23faster this year
05:24than he did
05:24last year
05:27Kevin Herter
05:28like it
05:28what will we
05:30get out of
05:30him because
05:31we had just
05:31an abbreviated
05:33part of it
05:33last year
05:34Red Velvet
05:34Red Velvet
05:35is that what
05:36his nickname
05:37is
05:37yeah
05:37in basketball
05:37reference
05:38I've never
05:38heard anybody
05:38call him that
05:39but Red Velvet
05:40is Kevin Herter's
05:41nickname
05:41lost in Trajan's
05:43press conference
05:43leading up to the
05:44season he said
05:44if we had Herter
05:45healthy we would
05:46have won
05:46that second round
05:47series
05:48nobody really
05:49made a big deal
05:49of him saying
05:50that but okay
05:50we're going to
05:51find out what
05:51Herter's all about
05:52yeah
05:53let's go to
