Doomsday Cult Leader Found Guilty of Murdering 190 Children by Telling Parents They Should Be Starved for ‘Spiritual Reward’

A Kenyan pastor has been found guilty of murdering 190 children and one adult. Paul Mackenzie, leader of the Good News International Church, appeared before judge Diana Kavedza at the Mombasa High Court in Kenya on Monday, Oct. 19, the Associated Press, BBC and Reuters reported. The former taxi driver had been arrested three years earlier after police unearthed a mass grave in a forest ‌near the Indian Ocean town of Malindi, where his followers had been living in mud huts.
