00:10Introducing first from San Diego, California, Nia Jax.
00:16The irresistible force, Nia Jax, who returned a couple of months ago to
00:21really turn the women's division on Monday Night Raw around.
00:25A former one time world champion, two time tag team champion.
00:31Noticeable, as soon as she did return,
00:33she went straight for the baddest women on the roster.
00:37Nia Jax is not here for the chicken feed.
00:40Next, for Rio Grande Valley, Texas, Raquel Rodriguez.
00:48In an interview with the Dallas Morning News recently, Raquel Rodriguez talked about
00:53this being her first trip to Saudi Arabia, how excited she was to come here.
00:57And she called the competition in the women's division lethal.
01:01In the competition in this match, powerhouses who are ground based,
01:06who can become an alternative to the competition here at WWE.
01:16From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Shayna Baszler.
01:23Shayna Baszler believes she is the baddest woman on the planet after she sent Ronda Rousey packing from a WWE.
01:31Gi and Black Belt et al, Shayna Baszler means business tonight.
01:38And that does not bode well for the other four women in this match.
01:46From Las Vegas, Nevada,
01:49Zoey Stark.
01:51The no-nonsense, intense, powerhouse, Zoey Stark, who many consider the dark horse in this match tonight.
02:00Yeah, this is the woman that nobody in the match is paying attention to or strategizing for,
02:06for someone as dangerous as Zoey Stark.
02:09There is a huge opportunity to sneak a victory here.
02:18Again, fatal five-way matchup, first woman to gain pinfall for submission,
02:22will be the women's world champion.
03:21If you have the women's world champion,
03:22I've been together for scriptures with Rafael Israel and my mother leaders in the match of the Temple,
04:31She is the Eradicator, Rhea Ripley, who has been the Women's World Champion since she defeated Charlotte Flair in WrestleMania.
04:45Judgement Day, currently South Australia, she is the Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley.
04:55Well, my question to you, Wade, is Rhea liking her the picking tonight because she's been pulled in so many
05:01different directions as of late, really being the leader of Judgment Day.
05:06You saw her moments ago in the interaction with Drew McIntyre.
05:08I don't think those issues at all come into play in this matchup. I think Rhea Ripley can handle all
05:15of that. What perhaps she can't handle is the nature of this matchup. It's at times hard to fathom how
05:21anybody could ever take that championship away from Rhea Ripley.
05:25What a five-way matchup with no championship advantage. That is a scenario where Rhea Ripley from bell to bell
05:34is gonna be as weak as we have ever seen her.
05:3820% chance to keep the championship in this fatal five-way matchup where first woman began pinfall submission will
05:45become the world champion.
05:46This just an example here tonight, Wade, of the strength of the women's division, not only on Monday Night Raw,
05:52but Friday Night SmackDown.
05:53Later tonight we see EO Sky and Bianca Belair battle for the WWE Championship NXT with their brand new women's
06:00champion Lyra Valkyria and of course Lola Vice who won the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament this past Tuesday.
06:06Women's wrestling has never been hotter in WWE.
06:10Yeah, and there's never been anything in the history of our entire industry where we've seen this accumulation of alpha
06:19females in sports entertainment.
06:21It truly is the halcyon days for the women's division which is going from strength to strength.
06:28And we're about to find out who the baddest of them all is.
06:31And let's not forget the wild card in a lot of this, the free agent Jade Cargill, who recently signed
06:37with WWE.
06:38Where has she fit into this mix?
06:40It's gonna be interesting to find out in the weeks to come.
06:42So this is for the Women's World Championship.
06:45Ripley defending against Rodriguez, Baszler, Jackson, Stark.
06:49Fatal five-way rules.
06:50Well, Riyadh saw one battle of the baddest with Tyson Fury last week.
06:55That was just the appetizer.
06:58This is the main course.
07:00That battle's taking place right down the street from where we are here tonight as part of Riyadh's season.
07:07And here we go.
07:08Matchup underway.
07:10Ripley again has had the championship since WrestleMania.
07:13And Nia Jax realizing that she is probably gonna be the target of all four women.
07:19Your hair looks great, Nia.
07:20It looks great, yeah.
07:22You're gonna tell her whatever she wants to hear right now.
07:24Of course I am.
07:24And I don't blame you.
07:25Meanwhile, the action inside the ring.
07:27Zoe Stark going for the first pinfall on Rhea Ripley.
07:31And now Shayna Baszler trying her fare as well.
07:34Now remember, the champ does not have to be involved in the decision to lose the title, but it would
07:38be a great feather in your cap to pin the champion in this match.
07:41Well, we're about to find out who is the baddest.
07:44Nia continuing to-
07:45But I'll tell you point blank who's the smartest, and that is Nia Jax.
07:49Let the other four women wear themselves out, and then go in and pick the bones.
07:53And Zoe Stark and Shayna Baszler who've developed the team as of late.
07:59Doesn't matter because it's every woman for herself in this matchup.
08:02And now Nia Jax just dragging Raquel Rodriguez out of the ring.
08:08And remember, wait, Nia cost Raquel a couple of weeks of her career.
08:13Nia Jax has already squashed all four women in this match at some point.
08:18And now Rhea Ripley with a kick to Nia Jax.
08:22And Nia!
08:23Ripley face first on the apron.
08:25Nia looking as nimble as we've ever seen her.
08:28Yeah, now Nia Jax with a right hand flooring Baszler.
08:32And now the power slam to Zoe Stark.
08:35You can have no answer to that level of power from Nia Jax.
08:40And a waist lock now by Shayna Baszler.
08:42Looked like she might have been going for a German suplex.
08:44Rhea though with a headbutt.
08:46And now Raquel Rodriguez helps Baszler with said suplex.
08:55Sometimes in life it does not pay to be an unpopular personality like Nia Jax.
09:00And Nia has been taken out of the equation at least momentarily.
09:03And now Raquel and Baszler and Zoe Stark and Rhea Ripley go at one another.
09:11Is there any strategy in this type of match Wade?
09:14Watch your back at all times and hope for the best.
09:16Be no disqualifications, no count outs.
09:19Big clothesline by Rodriguez.
09:20For my money, the biggest, the strongest for sure in this matchup has to be Rodriguez.
09:27Raquel with a beautiful power slam and now just taking out Shayna Baszler as well.
09:34Woman who has had a gold laden career through NXT and indeed here.
09:38Raw and SmackDown still yet to win the big one gets her chance tonight.
09:43Raquel was going for the Nahana bomb on Rhea Ripley who was able to counter and now Zoe Stark.
09:49Again, I mentioned earlier, Zoe no-nonsense, intense, not here to mess around.
09:57And now Rhea Ripley with Baszler driven to the mat.
10:03Might be looking pretty dominant in the early goings here but don't count your chickens too early.
10:11The eradicator face to face with the irresistible force.
10:17Two women with queen of the jungle mindsets.
10:21And you mentioned it earlier, when Nia Jax arrived on the scene, she went right after Rhea Ripley.
10:26The annihilator from the second rope, bruised to Rhea's ribs, cost her a couple of weeks of action.
10:31They're talking claims about being-
10:33Look at the power now of Ripley!
10:35The crazy Rhea, I don't think so, not tonight. Oh!
10:37That kick, no, drives Nia back toward the ropes.
10:40And now Nia with a Fez press and out pounding away on Ripley.
10:45Just no way out of that kind of offense.
10:50No competitor is built for it.
10:53Nia Jax late, dropped to the champion.
10:56Cover now to try to win the world title.
11:00And that's Zoey Stark breaking it up.
11:02Yeah, the rank outsider, looking to make her mark.
11:06Looking to prove to the world that she is the true huntress in this division.
11:10So many people you talk to, Wade, said that Zoey Stark will be a champion one day.
11:15Goodness!
11:16Yeah, fierce levels of aggression and ludicrous athleticism.
11:22The Zoey Stark will be nothing but impressed but technique coming out of her ears.
11:28That is the nature of Baszler's game plan.
11:31Jaina Baszler, the submission magician.
11:33We'll see you get Raquel to tap out.
11:36Able to now trap both Raquel and Rhea Ripley.
11:39In submission holds.
11:41Is Rhea gonna tap?
11:44Nia Jax down.
11:45Drifts it out of the mat.
11:46Kirifuna clutch locked in on Jax.
11:49Three submission holds applied at the same time by Shayna Baszler.
11:53Unfortunately, Baszler's running out of limbs, otherwise Zoey Stark will be added to this pile.
11:59Who is gonna tap?
12:01If anybody taps, Baszler's the champion.
12:03It doesn't matter who.
12:05Just an exhibition in atrocity from Shayna Baszler, who has to be getting close.
12:12This referee needs to be checking on Nia Jax.
12:14Nia Jax may be out, but Zoey Stark will break things up.
12:19Cover now by Stark for the win.
12:22And a kick out by Baszler.
12:24Three of those women were in those torturous holds for a long time.
12:28How much has it taken out of them?
12:30Now Raquel Rodriguez sat down hard.
12:34Will this be Zoey Stark's moment?
12:38Claims to be the baddest just go out of the window.
12:41The proof in the pudding is that Women's World Championship.
12:46The holder supersedes all other claims.
12:50And right now that holder is Rhea Ripley.
12:55Rhea up to the second rope.
12:57It's changing blows with Stark.
13:05Raquel Rodriguez up to the second rope as well.
13:09Looking to the eyes of a champion.
13:10Now perhaps working together with Rhea Ripley.
13:15Stark able to hang on.
13:16Wiggling her way out of that one in desperation.
13:20Now Shayna Baszler into the mix.
13:22Will add in momentum.
13:25Tremendous superplex.
13:27Everybody's down.
13:29Just a car crash scene in the middle of that ring.
13:33And who is here to capitalize?
13:36Nia Jax with the opportunity.
13:39Baszler with a running knee.
13:43Again watch that.
13:46Nia Jax splashing the corner to Baszler.
13:50You have to think speed is of the essence in this kind of matchup.
13:54You're only gonna get a very short window with this caliber of woman.
13:58Nia now second rope going for the annihilator.
14:00Rhea Ripley though.
14:02With a kick to the hamstring of Jax.
14:04Could have tore an ACL on that landing.
14:07And now Raquel.
14:08There's that corkscrew elbow up the second rope cover.
14:12Rhea Ripley won't let it happen.
14:14What the?
14:16These two women who know each other so well.
14:19Raquel knocked off Rhea Ripley in a last woman standing match 2021.
14:24NXT, Ripley's last match in NXT.
14:27Former best friends and training partners.
14:29Feels like a long time ago though.
14:35And for the moment it's come down to this.
14:39Perhaps the two most powerful women on Monday Night Raw.
14:42Both women down off the collision.
14:53Watch this and the impact of Ripley and Rodriguez.
14:58Two formidable ladies refusing to take a step back.
15:03And they've got eyes locked on one another.
15:09Stark.
15:11Once again, the dark horse, the one nobody's watching for.
15:15That's the issue.
15:16Rhea and Raquel obsessed with one another and took their eye off the prize.
15:23Stark.
15:24Top rope.
15:25Leap.
15:26Take it out Rodriguez and Ripley.
15:28Look at our cameraman at the same time.
15:34Zoe favoring the knee.
15:37Where's that knee brace.
15:40As ambitious as they come.
15:42Make your dreams come true.
15:43Missile drop kick off the top rope.
15:45Rhea Ripley down.
15:47Stark now.
15:48G360 catches Rhea for the win.
15:52And the championship Nia Jax breaks it up.
15:55A pump to the jaw of Zoe Stark was all at top.
16:00A millisecond away from Stark winning gold.
16:08And now the power of Jax headbutt to Stark down goes Zoe.
16:12Stark getting effortlessly ragdolled around the ring.
16:17By Nia Jax who now looks fresh as a daisy.
16:24Nia's second rope was going for the annihilator.
16:27Raquel Rodriguez though with a blow to the spine.
16:30And now Raquel.
16:31You gotta be kidding me.
16:33No way.
16:34Raquel Rodriguez with Nia Jax up.
16:37Went for a Tejada bomb.
16:39Planting Nia.
16:40Cover.
16:41Stacks her up.
16:42And saving her championship was Rhea Ripley.
16:46Jax was clinging on for dear life.
16:48But that raw power of Raquel Rodriguez is something else.
16:52And now Rhea setting up Raquel for Riptide.
16:55Shayna Baszler from behind.
16:57Karafuda locked in on the champion.
16:59Yeah, locked in deep too.
17:00No road breaks in a matchup like this.
17:03Yeah, cuz there's no disqualifications.
17:04Rhea Ripley trying to fight out of the Karafuda by Shayna Baszler.
17:08The champ was fading.
17:09Raquel Rodriguez though with a boot to Baszler.
17:12Headbutt from Ripley.
17:16And now Rhea setting up Shayna Baszler.
17:22Riptide.
17:22Deadlift Riptide, that has to be it.
17:26Cover by Rhea.
17:27Zoe Stark breaks things up.
17:33Hats off to Zoe Stark, completely undaunted by the bigger resumes of everyone else in this
17:40matchup.
17:40She believes this is her time.
17:43Now with Rhea perched on the top rope, Zoe Stark up to meter.
17:49Headbutts from Rhea.
17:54Rhea now, feet on the second rope, cover by Raquel, and a riptide on top of Raquel by Rhea Ripley.
18:05Cover on Baszler.
18:07Ripley will retain.
18:11Here's your winner and still winning world champion, Rhea Ripley.
18:21With just a 20% chance to retain, Rhea Ripley bucks the odds and retains the world's championship.
18:31The unstoppable eradicator.
18:35The
