Independent illustrator Chloe, forced to pay off her seriously ill father's debts, signed a one-year fake marriage contract with cold Wall Street tycoon heir Alexander. Faced with the snobbish ex-boyfriend and insufferable relatives, Alexander used absolute wealth and power to publicly defend his wife, ruthlessly slapping down the villains.
