00:00Paris witnessed a Champions League classic, and nobody saw this twist coming.
00:04Barcelona arrived unbeaten on an 11-game winning run, and they left stunned.
00:09Here is the story of the night the European champions sent a message to the world.
00:13The night started badly for Paris Saint-Germain.
00:17Ousmane Dembele was forced off in the 20th minute, holding his hamstring.
00:20His replacement? 18-year-old Desire Dway.
00:24And in the 38th minute, Dway fired PSG in front, 1-0.
00:28The goal came one week after he scored in the 4-2 win over Manchester City.
00:32Teenagers are not supposed to decide nights like these.
00:35The Parc des Princes was rocking, but Barcelona are never beaten easily.
00:39In the 55th minute, Xavi Espert curled home his first-ever Champions League goal.
00:441-1, and the game was wide open.
00:47Then in the 72nd minute, Lucas Hernandez rose highest and powered a header in.
00:522-1 to PSG, and Paris believed.
00:55But Barcelona have a boy wonder of their own.
00:58In the 79th minute, Lamine Yamal pounced on a Warren Zaire Emery mistake and buried it.
01:032-2, and it was his 10th goal of the season.
01:06The comeback was on, but PSG had other ideas.
01:10Just two minutes later, in the 81st, Vitinha struck to make it 3-2.
01:14The stadium erupted.
01:16Then in the 86th minute, Akraf Hakimi whipped in a cross, and Fabian Ruiz tapped it home.
01:224-2.
01:23The final score, and game over.
01:25The numbers tell the story of a shootout.
01:28Expected goals.
01:29PSG 3.8.
01:30Barcelona 2.2.
01:32Barcelona keeper Joan Garcia made 14 saves, and it still was not enough.
01:373 wins from 3, 9 points, top of the Champions League league phase on goal difference.
01:42Barcelona's 11-game winning run is over.
01:44Their first defeat of the season in all competitions.
01:47There was a sour note, though.
01:49PSG lost Dembele, Kovicic Faradzkelia, and Marquinhos to injury.
01:54Barcelona's Dani Olmo was also forced off.
01:57Luis Enrique called the injuries, quote, the worst part of the game.
02:01Ilya Zabarnie came on for Marquinhos in the 59th minute and steadied the back line.
02:07Context matters here.
02:08PSG are the reigning European champions, and they are playing like it.
02:12They lifted the trophy last season, and this team looks even more dangerous now.
02:17Nobody in Europe wants to draw this team right now.
02:19The dynasty talk is real, and it started in Paris.
02:22They scored 8 goals in 2 statement wins over City and Barcelona this month.
02:27Barcelona, meanwhile, had not tasted defeat since the season began.
02:31But their young stars, Espart and Yamal, show the future is bright in Catalonia.
02:36Why does this night matter so much?
02:38Because the title race narrative has shifted.
02:40PSG looked like the team to beat in Europe, and their depth survived a brutal injury night.
02:45For Barcelona, the question is how they respond.
02:48And they get no rest, because El Clasico is next.
02:51Barcelona hosts Real Madrid on Sunday, October 25th.
02:55A second defeat in 5 days would be a full-blown crisis.
02:59A win, and this Paris nightmare becomes a footnote.
03:02That is the cruel math of a title race.
03:05The Champions League League phase table now has PSG alone at the top.
03:09Bayern, Madrid, City, everyone is chasing Paris now.
03:13Every other giant in Europe is officially on notice.
03:16Sunday cannot come soon enough.
03:18The Champions are not defending their crown quietly.
03:21Europe is watching, and Paris is leading the way.

03:52And that's when we all have 50 people and the Jys, and they're called to remain in再來.
