00:00Interacting with the city is, I think, a big part of what excites us about being here
00:03because New York itself is a character in our show.
00:09To really landmark the show here, we're looking for a lot of skyline, water, I think the bridges,
00:18the waterfront specifically for the NCIS of it all have been selling a lot of the stories.
00:23I think it's just being in all parts of New York and the gritty to the cleaned-up look.
00:30New York has so much to offer, which is why there's so many productions here.
00:33It's easier as an actor to walk in off the street and bring that energy because it's there.
00:37You don't have to create anything on the spot.
00:40The people who know the true behind-the-scenes and, you know, certain restaurants or specific streets
00:45that are kind of, like, iconic, those are the areas where you can really show
00:51that a New Yorker would know versus someone who, you know, is from out of town.
00:57As long as the backdrop is right, then we often plant ourselves in locations
01:03that can't really be cheated anywhere else.
01:07There's a creativity, there's a hustle, there's a vibe here that you just can't manufacture,
01:11and to have it be not only a character in itself here, but also to be the place
01:18in which we get to film with the access to, like, the hundreds and hundreds of amazing crew members
01:23and creatives here that we get to take full advantage of that talent, there's nothing like it.
