A scuba diver goes looking for his father’s remains, because apparently the ocean couldn’t just let him have one normal, quiet grief moment. Then a 24-meter, 60-ton sperm whale decides it’s snack time and swallows him. That’s the premise. The rest is a race against the clock. He’s got one hour before his oxygen runs out, which means every decision is basically “Do it faster. Don’t think. And whatever you do, don’t panic too loudly.” This is survival horror with saltwater pressure and zero room for optimism. Whalefall doesn’t try to be subtle, and honestly it doesn’t need to. It’s claustrophobic, frantic, and a little bit ridiculous in the way nature can be when it really wants to win.
----------
