00:36But now it's like, dude, we're kind of sick of your gimmicks.

00:50And then we also knew that OKC finally found a Wemby stopper.

02:30We were back in because we knew how good he was as a traditional center.
02:34But he's not that type of player where he's like, let's do some sidestep threes
02:39and some step-backs.
02:41You're not going to do that.

02:44And look, B, look what happened.

02:46Even in the preseason, yeah, he had some turnaround jumpers.
02:49But his footwork as a traditional center in the post, the paint, is awesome.
02:53Listen, it was the game during the preseason game versus New Orleans Pelicans
02:58when we found out who he's going to be during the season.
03:02He ran up and down the court, disturbed everything.

03:06He just went from – he basically was running –

03:10That's all he was doing.

03:22And he did that tonight.
03:23But he did that tonight against a bigger body.
03:26And like you said, John, they threw the joker card out there
03:28because you're only going to know what you got until you use it.

03:32Now I know what I'm – I only got to use them for no other team.
03:35I might use them for Denver to see how he goes against Jokic,
03:39just to see how that rattles and to see if that's effective.
03:41Because if it is effective, oh, my God, buckle your seatbelts.

03:46Because you're going to be there for a long ride.

03:48I think OKC played this as if it was game eight,
03:51not if it was game one of the opening night.
03:54They were like, okay, you know what?
03:56Oh, look at the injury report.
03:57Everyone's back healthy.
03:59Lace them up.

04:03I think they may – I think they may have built the perfect basketball team.
04:10Shane looks phenomenal as always, even if he had 32.
04:12And they are – they're completely balanced.
04:15They're selfless.
04:16Their defensive rotation is on point.
04:18They got three bigs.
04:20So because, again, against everybody else,
04:23Chet Holmgren's amazing.
04:25Against the Spurs, he's pathetic.
04:28Against everybody else, he's an all-NBA player.
04:31So now that you've got the stopgap for when he vanishes,
04:36when he comes back against everybody else,
04:39you have balance in the frontcourt.
04:41You have balance in the backcourt.
04:43You have multiple ball handlers.
04:44You have multiple shooters.
04:46You have multiple drivers.
04:47And you have multiple finishers at the rim.
04:49You have multiple guys who can crash the backboard and box out.
04:53So I don't know how you really defend this team
04:58without Wimby going supernova and going,
05:01it doesn't matter what you do.
05:02I'm blocking everything, and I'm making every three.
05:05Because, again, we've got to remember,
05:07Thunder didn't lose by 20 in Game 7.
05:10They barely lost in Game 7.
05:12Like, Game 1 was a classic.
05:14Either one of those games flips slightly.
05:16Even with the guys that were injured for OKC,
05:19they win that series, and they play the New York Knicks in the finals.
05:22So it's not like there was this massive gap.
05:24Like, oh, it's the Spurs time now.
05:26Like, they proved, obviously, great series win for them.
05:29But it wasn't this fact that's like, oh, my God,
05:32they dominated this Thunder team.
05:34Like, what are they going to do now?
05:35Everyone kind of out of that series is like,
05:37well, let's see how it looks when they're fully healthy.
05:39And let's just see if they get another center to maybe stop Wimby.
05:42Well, it seems like they did in the draft.
05:44But in any case, NBA opening night, opening day.
