00:42كل شيء المحلوط الذي ي leading the world forward
00:56But that relationship really goes back a lot farther than that.
00:59It goes back to 1911 with the founding of the American Mission Hospital here in Kuwait.
01:04So really Kuwaitis and Americans have been a part of each other's lives and stories
01:09for many, many more years than just the time that we're celebrating this year.
01:15And this is a really strong friendship.
01:17It's a friendship that's been tested.
01:18It's been through the crucible of war.
01:20In 1990, when Kuwait was invaded, the United States stood by its friend and led a coalition
01:27that ultimately liberated the country in 1991.
01:30And more recently, in the last several months, we have been standing shoulder to shoulder,
01:36Kuwaitis and Americans, defending Kuwait's sovereignty, defending Kuwait's people, and
01:42providing security for the country.
