00:00We are tracking a flash flood warning just down from Moenkapi Village.
00:05This is the Moenkapi Wash here where it crosses Highway 89.
00:09You can see some debris that is flowing down the wash here.
00:13This flash flood has just arrived and upstream in the village, the flood stage is at 31 feet
00:18and the floodwaters are coming in to Moenkapi Village right now.
00:23There's a lot of water coming downstream this wash right now.
00:25This is just the beginning of the flood and we expect with more rainfall in the desert out there
00:31that this will likely overwash Highway 89 and possibly destroy part of the highway as well
00:37down closer to Cameron, Arizona.
00:39But we are now tracking the flash flood potential here in Arizona.
00:43You can see an ongoing flash flood down the Moenkapi Wash here north of Cameron, Arizona.
00:49A lot of debris and everything in there as well.
00:51And this is the very beginning of this flash flood.
00:54It's about to come up about three to four times.
