00:02Still to come tonight here on SmackDown, the Big Show returns to action tonight.
00:06The Giant hasn't competed since July, and tonight Big Show's emotional in-ring return
00:12is against the Mexican aristocrat, the WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio.
00:17And remember, both superstars have huge matches, Sunday in Vengeance.
00:24And check this out right here at over 7 foot, 500 pounds.
00:28The Big Show makes his return in real competition for the first time in front.
00:32Against the WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio, and it's coming up next.
00:54And the population of Mexico City is nearly 9 million.
00:58It's like a sea of people in downtown Mexico City.
01:00And I've got information, you know where all these people were going?
01:03I have an autograph signing today in Mexico City.
01:05All these people are coming to see me and get my autograph.
01:08Yeah, right.
01:10The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
01:13Let me first introduce Alberto Del Rio's personal ring announcer,
01:19Ricardo Rodriguez.
01:21I've learned a lot about this man.
01:22I've spent some time with him here in Mexico over the past few days,
01:25hanging out with him in Alberto Del Rio.
01:28Ricardo Rodriguez is such a great man at heart.
01:34And this man, here's what you can say about him.
01:36One of the great tag team partners I've ever had in my career.
01:39One of the greats!
01:44Casual shops, ladies and gentlemen.
01:45Here in this night in this city of Mexico,
01:48I represent a tie of the man who will win,
01:50this day.
01:52And the honor of the excelency,
01:54the proud Ludwig del Mexico.
01:58The champion of the L도 Lulee,
02:02Alberto Del Rio.
02:11The 2011 Mercedes with $125,000, and because Cole tapped out to Jim Ross this past Monday night on Raw,
02:20Del Rio has to defend his WWE Championship in two nights at Vengeance against John Cena in a last man
02:26standing match.
02:27So in other words, it's actually Cole's fault that he has to do that, right?
02:31Yeah, but we're over that.
02:33Del Rio didn't even want to be your partner, but in any event, Vengeance is this Sunday for a chance
02:39to watch Vengeance for free on WWE.com.
02:43Follow us on Twitter.
02:44At WWE, use the hashtag SmackDown.
02:54Alberto Del Rio is hashtag suave, hashtag sophisticated.
02:59But will Del Rio be the WWE Champion after Sunday, after San Antonio Adventures?
03:06What an incredible human being.
03:16The pride of Mexico, pride of fans all over the world.
03:20Alberto Del Rio.
03:27The Big Show!
03:32Thank you, here's your 997 feet tall, weighing at 397 pounds, The Big Show!
03:42It was back in July, The Big Show was taken out by Mark Henry.
03:46It's been roughly 100 days, but tonight, The Giant makes his in-ring return, knowing in two nights, The Big
03:52Show challenges Mark Henry for the world title.
03:56And I just want to applaud Theodore Long for making this match match, giving the people, the universe, what they
04:03want to see.
04:04And that's The Big Show beat up on a great show deal.
04:07It is not fair for Alberto Del Rio to be forced to compete here tonight on SmackDown.
04:12After what he's shoved into the hands of John Cena this past Monday night on Raw, there's a steal of
04:17bears.
04:17And then the fact that he's got to defend his title in two nights in vengeance in a last-man
04:22standing match.
04:22And you put him in the ring against the world's largest athlete, Booker, how is this fair?
04:26Check out The Big Show, whatever you say, but check out The Big Show.
04:29I mean, the guy's ready, he's got that left hand, he's got that jab, he's got that right hand.
04:33He's ready, first time competing.
04:35And here we go!
04:36Some time on SmackDown, check The Big Show out.
04:38Del Rio looking to play cat and mouse, The Big Show would not let Del Rio get away from him.
04:42That's called manhandling right there, that's called manhandling your prey right there.
04:46The giant over seven feet, nearly 500 pounds.
04:49And you notice how Big Show went immediately to the back of Del Rio, right where Cena played with a
04:54steal,
04:54stepped on Raw this past Monday, and again, working on Del Rio's back.
04:58Big Show, Big Show got something to prove here tonight on SmackDown.
05:00He's back, that's the question, that Big Show is back on Friday Night SmackDown.
05:06And Booker, there's got to be positives and negatives for Big Show competing here tonight,
05:09knowing he'll face Mark Henry in two nights at Vengeance.
05:12You know, I'm gonna tell you, it could only be positives for Big Show.
05:15Big Show is in here with the WWE Champion.
05:17Go in here and just mow this boy down and go into Vengeance and take care of your business, son.
05:22And remember how Big Show was so emotional when he came back a couple of weeks ago,
05:26saying that the injury at the hands of Mark Henry really was a wake-up call for him.
05:30You know, I looked in the Big Show's eyes and he totally was serious, totally emotional.
05:35I almost shed tears.
05:36That's how emotional the Big Show was.
05:38He's gonna take it out.
05:39Look at this.
05:40The Big Show just opened it up on Del Rio.
05:42That's what I'm talking about.
05:43Right hand, left hook, Big Show is ready.
05:45And the other problem I think that Mark Henry has come Sunday is that Big Show may be in his
05:50head.
05:50Big Show's dominated Mark Henry the past couple of weeks.
05:54Oh, man.
05:57Sledgehammer-like hand of the Big Show.
05:59Two weeks to go, the Big Show put Mark Henry through our announce table last week.
06:03It was the Big Show standing tall at the conclusion of Friday Night SmackDown.
06:07You know, I was wondering what the game plan of El Patron would be tonight.
06:10I'm gonna tell you, I can't figure it out.
06:12He's got his hands full tonight with this seven-foot giant.
06:1722-5-E boot right in the skull of Del Rio.
06:21And again, this is so unfair for the WWE Champion, Del Rio, to have to compete here tonight.
06:26You know, I totally disagree with what you're called.
06:28I mean, when you're champion, you gotta be ready.
06:30You're like a doctor, bro.
06:31You're on cards 24-7.
06:33There he goes.
06:34That's Del Rio.
06:35He's gonna think of something.
06:37Alberto Del Rio trying to gain control again, guys.
06:40He's so calculating.
06:41Oh, man.
06:42Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
06:44The Big Show firmly in control of the WWE Champion here on SmackDown.
06:49Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho.
