In this amusing footage, Melissa St. Hilaire captures her rescue cat, Sphinxy, playfully engaging with her Christmas tree from within. "I heard an unusual noise in the living room, so I instinctively began recording and went to check it out," Melissa recounted. "That's when I found Sphinxy inside the tree! She batted at several ornaments and then sent one flying out!" This marks the cat's inaugural Christmas with her new owner. The video was recorded on December 30, 2021.
