00:03As a lifelong gamer, I spend a lot of time thinking about one thing.
00:07How do we make gaming better?
00:10I think about the pixels, the frames, the silicon, the software,
00:14and most of all, the worlds we get to explore.
00:17We power over a billion gaming devices around the world.
00:21It's a responsibility we care deeply about.
00:23And we've been asking ourselves, how much further can we take it?
00:26A big part of that journey has been our partnership with Sony through Project Amethyst.
00:32Together, we're exploring what's possible when advanced graphics rendering meets machine learning.
00:38And we're turning that work into technology that can make games look better and run better.
00:43That work is at the heart of AMD FSR upscaling 4.1 on Radeon 7000 and 9000 series graphics,
00:51and QSSR on PlayStation 5 and PSSR 2 on PlayStation 5 Pro.
00:56But we want to take it further.
00:58We want to bring that work to more gamers.
01:00And today, we're taking another step.
01:03FSR 4.1 is coming to Radeon RX 6000 series.
01:07And we didn't just bring it over.
01:09We made it better.
01:10We went back into the model.
01:12We tuned it.
01:13We optimized the code path.
01:14And we worked to deliver high-fidelity visuals and optimize performance across the entire range from the 6900 series down
01:22to the 6400 series class of graphics cards.
01:25On the 6800 XT, FSR 4.1 delivers incredible image quality and clarity with new optimizations for great performance at
01:344K.
01:34More detail, more clarity, more from the hardware you already own.
01:39But we wanted to go further because gaming isn't confined to a desk anymore.
01:44It's in your backpack.
01:45It's in your hands.
01:46It goes wherever you go.
01:48And that means the technology has to go with you.
01:51So we're bringing FSR 4.1 to Strix Halo and Gorgon Halo.
01:55At 1440p, FSR 4.1 performance mode delivers higher visual quality than FSR 3.1 and higher presets, especially in
02:04motion, while keeping frame rates above 60 FPS.
02:07Because the best gaming experience isn't always at a desk for laptops powered by Strix and Gorgon Ryzen 9 and
02:15handhelds powered by Z2E and Z2A, we developed a new, highly efficient ML model specifically for these devices.
02:24It's less than half the size of the original N8 model and purpose-built for this class of hardware.
02:30We validated across hundreds of laptop configurations and handhelds.
02:34And now it's ready to go.
02:35And don't worry, we are working on expanding FSR 4.1 to more APUs in the future.
02:41And we're bringing these technologies to gamers together with some incredible partners.
02:45Let me introduce my good friend and fellow gamer, Sean Yen, Senior Vice President at Asus.
02:51Asus has partnered with AMD to build all the best gaming hardwares.
02:56And this year, we are super excited to tell you the FSR 4.1 is finally coming on board to
03:03LG Xbox LiX.
03:04So your LG Xbox Li gets better over time.
03:08Get better scaling technology, higher fidelity graphics.
03:12Not only that, it's also coming on board to our Strix Hello Power gaming hardware on LG Flow Z13 and
03:19TUF A14.
03:20I want to thank you, Jack, for getting all this latest gaming technology to the gamers.
03:24Thank you.
03:26Thanks, Sean.
03:27And this is where it gets personal.
03:29Even at 1080p on a handheld-sized display, you can see the difference.
03:34Sharper detail.
03:35Better reconstruction in motion.
03:36And with FSR enabled, frame rates can move to above 60 FPS.
03:40This is gaming on the go.
03:42Consoles have always pushed us to build our best silicon.
03:46They push us to dream bigger, to build faster, and to find new ways to make games come alive.
03:51AMD and Xbox have been building together for more than 20 years.
03:55And today, we're taking another step.
03:57I'm incredibly proud to welcome Scott VanVleet, CTO of Xbox.
04:01At Xbox, we're building a gaming platform designed to meet players where they are
04:06and make it easier for creators to reach them.
04:09AMD has been an important partner in that journey for more than two decades.
04:14Together, our teams have been pushing gaming forward across Xbox and Windows,
04:18from the silicon at the heart of our consoles and handhelds,
04:21to technologies like DirectX, advanced shader delivery, and AutoSR
04:25that helps developers get more from the hardware and deliver better experiences for our players.
04:29Today, we're excited to take another step forward together,
04:33with FSR 4.1 coming to Xbox.
04:36Now, we've worked very closely with AMD to optimize this technology,
04:39giving developers another powerful tool for great performance and visual quality for players.
04:45Now, whether you're playing on an Xbox Ally handheld,
04:47as well as coming soon to Xbox Series S and X consoles.
04:51And this is just the beginning.
04:53Our teams are continuing to work together across hardware and software,
04:56and there's even more ahead with Project Helix,
04:59leveraging FSR Diamond to power what comes next.
05:02Now, Jack, thanks to you and the team at AMD
05:04for continuing to push gaming forward together with us.
05:08Thanks, Scott.
05:09FSR 4.1 coming to Xbox,
05:11and this is just the beginning.
05:13We're continuing to evolve FSR Redstone,
05:16now available in more than 400 games,
05:18on Reina 9000 Series graphics.
05:20We're also developing new enhancements to FSR frame generation,
05:24with more consistent frame pacing for smoother gameplay.
05:28We're continuing to work with developers and publishers to bring re-regeneration to more games.
05:33And soon, FSR is coming to Vulkan,
05:35giving developers another powerful way to bring FSR into their games,
05:40and opening the door for titles to push their worlds even further.
05:43For me, this has never been just about more pixels or more frames.
05:48It's about experiencing more of the games we love.
05:51That's what keeps me pushing.
05:53More games.
05:54More devices.
05:55More performance.
05:56More worlds to explore.
05:58And we're just getting started.
06:00We're just getting started.
06:02We'll be right back.
06:03We'll keep it.
06:04We'll keep it in.
06:08We'll keep it.
06:08We'll keep it in.
