rewatch post for The Sea God's Disguise: Fishing for Love — the old man, because everything runs through him.
A boy pulls a god out of the water. Sixty years pass. That boy is the grandfather in the opening scenes, and he isn't asking for himself — he's asking for time.
Watch how the show handles it. He gets three more years, and spends them watching a household that never thanks the man holding it up. Nobody there knows what he traded.
The ending only works because of him. Every plate on that table is paid for by a debt nobody was told about.
✨ What actually worked for me:
- He never explains. Not once. Not even at the end.
- The scene where he almost says it gets cut by a doorbell.
✨ Bottom line: a side character carrying the whole plot.
Which episode did you catch him in? Two, for me.

00:02:50Would you please protect my family?
00:02:54For three years after I'm gone very well, I will protect the Ashford family for three more years
00:03:00After that my duty to your family ends
00:03:13Father!
00:03:14Father!
00:03:16Father!
00:03:17Father who is this?
00:03:18As you can see a fisherman
00:03:19You can call me Magnus
00:03:21A fisherman? Father you risked your life bringing us into the storm for this fisherman?
00:03:26Quiet!
00:03:27I have an announcement
00:03:29From this day forward Magnus is going to be Adriana's husband
00:03:33Father, what are you saying?
00:03:36You want me to marry a fisherman I've never even met?
00:03:38He's right, this is crazy
00:03:40Besides, Adriana's already dating Sebastian Haverworth
00:03:49This isn't up for discussion
00:03:50If you want to inherit my estate and title
00:03:53You'll do as I say
00:03:55Father, please don't do this
00:03:58Fine
00:03:59I'll marry him
00:04:09The man before you commands the entire sea
00:04:12If you can't earn his heart within the next three years
00:04:14Our family and its legacy will not survive
00:04:17I don't know what you did to convince my father to trust you
00:04:20But I'm telling you now it won't work on me
00:04:22This marriage is a formality, nothing more
00:04:24I will never love you
00:04:31Perhaps in three years they'll change your mind
00:04:36Sure, he might be Adriana's husband
00:04:38But everyone knows it's only on paper
00:04:41She won't even look at him
00:04:42So true
00:04:44Three years and all the man's done is mop decks and catch minnows
00:04:47He's basically a glory deckhead
00:04:52Magnus, don't think you can just slack off
00:04:54We've got a route to plan
00:04:55Go count the cargo hold
00:04:57Come on, lads
00:04:58That beer's not going to drink itself
00:05:04One of Ashford's finest
00:05:05Take her down
00:05:07And we'll have enough coin for booze and women for months
00:05:11Sharpen up, boys
00:05:12Ram her!
00:05:22You have three seconds to leave these waters
00:05:24Or suffer the consequences
00:05:28What suicidal scullyhead dares stand between me and my fortune?
00:05:32Do you wish for death?
00:05:37Three
00:05:40Two
00:05:41You asked for this
00:05:44One
00:05:44Fuck you
00:05:45Fire!
00:05:46Blow that idiot to smithereens!
00:06:03Full sail!
00:06:04Ram that bastard!
00:06:21A monster!
00:06:22It's a kraken!
00:06:24Run!
00:06:25Retreat!
00:06:26Retreat!
00:06:34Magnus!
00:06:34Keep it down out here!
00:06:36We're trying to play cards!
00:06:43For three years
00:06:44I've protected this family in secret
00:06:46I've turned storms away from their fleet
00:06:49Kept sea beasts out of their path
00:06:53I promise you
00:06:54The Ashford family's ships
00:06:56Will sail to every continent on Earth
00:06:58Only three days left
00:06:59Three more days
00:07:01And then my duty here is done
00:07:10Magnus
00:07:11Lady Adriana collapsed
00:07:12It's her anemia
00:07:13You need to go
00:07:14Now
00:07:25I hear your fisherman husband is awfully obedient
00:07:28I think it's just an act
00:07:30So he can keep living off your family for free
00:07:33Ooh
00:07:33Let's make a bet Adriana
00:07:35If it comes down to it
00:07:36Do you think he'd give his own blood for you?
00:07:38Now that's an idea
00:07:40Ten gold
00:07:41Des he wouldn't
00:07:42Dock rats are always out for themselves
00:07:44Fine
00:07:45Ten gold for me too
00:07:46I say he would
00:07:49Eloine
00:07:50Is your brother-in-law actually reliable or not?
00:07:53Please
00:07:54Magnus is completely whipped
00:07:56He'd hand over his own heart if she asked
00:07:58We've got this bet in the bag
00:08:05Adriana
00:08:05Lie down
00:08:06Quick
00:08:07Leave the rest to us
00:08:21Kim
00:08:22Kim what happened to Adriana
00:08:26Her anemia flared up
00:08:28She needs a blood transfusion or she'll die
00:08:30Take my blood
00:08:32Take as much as you need
00:08:36Magnus you'll really do it?
00:08:44I knew it
00:08:45Pay up boys
00:08:46A bet's a bet
00:08:47Fuck it
00:08:49Why is he so goddamn loyal?
00:08:54This is unbelievable
00:08:57Adriana how'd you train him?
00:09:02Adriana
00:09:04You're
00:09:05All right
00:09:06Of course
00:09:07Don't make such a big deal about it
00:09:09They just wanted to play a little prank on you
00:09:10Look at him
00:09:11He's like a trained circus animal
00:09:13And now I'm out ten gold coins
00:09:19Make him do a few tricks for us
00:09:21It'll be hilarious
00:09:22Come on
00:09:22Have him do something
00:09:23Everyone's dying for a little entertainment
00:09:37You've really let them humiliate your own husband?
00:09:42Honestly Magnus
00:09:43Relax
00:09:44It was a joke
00:09:45You don't need to make a whole thing out of it
00:09:50Careful
00:09:51You and my sister are married in name only
00:09:53If she weren't so generous
00:09:55We would have thrown you out ages ago
00:09:56Forget it
00:09:57Three days
00:09:58And the deal's over
00:10:00I'll be gone
00:10:01And I'll have nothing more to do with this family
00:10:04See what I mean?
00:10:05He's like a barnaker we can't get rid of
00:10:09Enough Eloise
00:10:11I'm not wrong though
00:10:15It's getting late
00:10:15Everyone should go home
00:10:18I'll go run your bath
00:10:22Sis
00:10:22Don't bother explaining yourself to this petty loser
00:10:25He's useless anyway
00:10:26Eloise
00:10:27He's my husband
00:10:28And your brother-in-law
00:10:35Ugh
00:10:36Gross
00:10:45Drink it while it's hot
00:10:46It's good for you
00:10:49Miss Ashford
00:10:50We're in big trouble
00:10:51The fleet carrying Princess Rosalind
00:10:53Is trapped in the Devil's Triangle
00:10:54The Devil's Triangle?
00:10:56That water's supposed to be crawling with monsters
00:10:58Everyone steers clear
00:10:59And that ship's carrying Princess Rosalind
00:11:00And half the royal treasury
00:11:02We're screwed if it sinks
00:11:04How could this happen?
00:11:06Don't worry about it Adriana
00:11:07Leave it to me
00:11:09Oh please
00:11:10You're a fisherman
00:11:11What exactly are you going to do out there besides drown?
00:11:14Wave that rusty old spear at a sea monster?
00:11:16Enough Magnus
00:11:17We don't have time for this now
00:11:31Hey
00:11:31Mr. Magnus
00:11:33Where are you going?
00:11:37Just a quick trip to the Devil's Triangle
00:11:39You should go home before your mother gets worried
00:11:44The Devil's Triangle?
00:11:53Andriana
00:11:53This is it
00:11:54Remember Sebastian?
00:11:55He's a general in the Royal Knave now
00:11:57He commands the entire coastal fleet
00:11:59He's the only one who can pull off a rescue out there
00:12:02Eloise
00:12:02I'm already married
00:12:04Sister
00:12:05Sebastian is the only one who can fix this
00:12:08Don't worry
00:12:08We've kept in touch all this time
00:12:10He's never stopped thinking about you
00:12:12Just one word from you
00:12:13And he'll help us
00:12:14I'll write
00:12:15I'll write to him now
00:12:17What?
00:12:30Damn it
00:12:31Why are they auditing the war funds now?
00:12:33Where the hell am I supposed to find the money to cover everything I took?
00:12:38General
00:12:38A letter for you
00:12:39From the Ashford house
00:12:49Well
00:12:51Isn't this perfect?
00:12:52Just when I needed money to cover my tracks
00:12:54The solution walks right through my door
00:12:57So she's still hung up on me, is she?
00:13:01Perfect
00:13:01Handling her crisis handles mine
00:13:03And I'll get her back in the process
00:13:12Am I going to die here?
00:13:28You should have stayed in your abyss
00:13:30Instead you came all this way just to die
00:13:37You should have stayed in my stopped
00:13:38No
00:13:40No
00:13:53PC
00:13:54You have to go
00:13:58Do you have to go
00:14:01I'll be
00:14:12Please, wait. May I ask your name?
00:14:15Magnus.
00:14:20Call me Rosalind. I am the princess of the kingdom of Kassiria.
00:14:24You saved my life. If you'll have me, I would gladly marry you.
00:14:30I'm honored, princess, but I'm already married.
00:14:44Princess, I failed to protect you. I await your punishment.
00:14:48You're forgiven. Write to my father at once.
00:14:51I want to know everything there is to know about Magnus, the hero who saved me.
00:14:55Find him and bring him to me yourself.
00:15:07Don't worry. Sebastian said he'll help us.
00:15:14My lady, Lord Sebastian has arrived.
00:15:29Adriana, I came as soon as I got your letter. Don't worry. Nothing will happen to your fleet as long
00:15:35as I'm there.
00:15:38Oh. Thank you. I'm sorry for the trouble. I'll make sure you're well compensated when this is over.
00:15:50Adriana, after all these years, I still love you.
00:15:57This shop's honey cake is Adriana's favorite.
00:16:12This isn't what you think. Sebastian and I haven't seen each other in years. This is just courtesy.
00:16:17Adriana, is this the fisherman your father married you off to?
00:16:22Who is he? Why was he holding you?
00:16:25Listen, it's just a misunderstanding.
00:16:28Misunderstanding? Please. You're the one who doesn't belong here.
00:16:32If you'd never shown up, my sister and Sebastian would already be married and living a perfect life.
00:16:40Hello. I'm Sebastian, general of the Royal Navy. Pleasure to meet you.
00:16:45Sebastian commands the Royal Navy, the most powerful force Kassiria has.
00:16:50He's ten times the man you'll ever be, so you better show some respect.
00:16:55Magnus, he's just an old friend. Play nice.
00:17:03Oh, sorry. You haven't washed your hands, have you? I'm a bit of a German folk. Forgive me.
00:17:11Wonderful news, my lady. The fleet made it back, safe and sound.
00:17:15Princess Rosaland is safe, and nothing on the ships was damaged.
00:17:19Yay! See? I told you Sebastian would come through, unlike some people, who are all talk and no action.
00:17:27Thank you. If you hadn't sent the Navy, my fleet would never have made it home.
00:17:31What? The fleet actually escaped the Triangle? Did they get lucky or something?
00:17:36Have you lost your mind? No one has ever come out of the Devil's Triangle alive, and you want to
00:17:41send our Navy in there?
00:17:45Unless the Sea God himself intervenes. The crew on those ships are dead already. There's no other possibility.
00:17:52It was nothing. I sent our finest deep sea fleet as soon as I got your letter. Thank goodness we
00:17:56weren't too late.
00:17:57Glad I could help.
00:17:58The Navy didn't save the fleet. No mortal can set foot in the Devil's Triangle and live.
00:18:02Shut up, Magnus!
00:18:05Oh, so now you're calling Sebastian a liar? Please, tell us. Who else could have possibly saved them?
00:18:10You're right. It was me.
00:18:13Give me a break. You're lying through your teeth just to steal Sebastian's stunder? Look in the mirror. You're not
00:18:19that impressive.
00:18:20Magnus. Stop it. Apologize to Sebastian.
00:18:24Eh, it's fine. He's just worried about the fleet, that's all.
00:18:30Sebastian. Sebastian, it's getting late. You must be exhausted from the ride. Stay at the manor tonight. You'll take the
00:18:38sudge. Clear out your room for Sebastian. He's our guest of honor.
00:18:42What?
00:18:47Forget it. I'm leaving tomorrow anyway. Whoever lives in that room afterward is none of my concern.
00:18:55I didn't expect you to know your place that well. You should know by now that you were never good
00:19:00enough for Adriana. She was never meant to be a fisherman's wife. Don't worry, though. I'll take very good care
00:19:08of her for you.
00:19:19The sea wind left Adriana with a lasting affliction. Her skin blisters and fress whenever it touches her. For three
00:19:27years, I've been tearing out my scales with my own hands, brewing this for her.
00:19:36Keeping her healthy and beautiful.
00:19:43I'll protect her one last time. After that, we'll owe each other nothing.
00:19:58Come in. Just leave the stoop by the bed.
00:20:16What are you doing here?
00:20:20Oh, relax, Adriana.
00:20:23This pillow's too stiff to sleep on.
00:20:25Thought I'd trade it for a softer one.
00:20:28Turn around. I'm getting dressed.
00:20:32Let go of me, Sebastian.
00:20:35I'm married.
00:20:37Don't do this.
00:20:40Eloise told me everything.
00:20:42You've been married for three years, but never once shared a bed with him.
00:20:45Admit it, Adriana.
00:20:47There's no room for him in your heart.
00:20:50Only me.
00:20:53Fine.
00:20:54I admit it. I never forgot you.
00:21:06Adriana.
00:21:08I've thought about you every day for the past three years.
00:21:11My feelings for you have never changed.
00:21:15Please, leave that washed-up fisherman and be with me.
00:21:21Sebastian.
00:21:23I never forgot you, but...
00:21:27I know you still have feelings for me.
00:21:30So stop holding back and just follow your heart.
00:21:45Sebastian, you've got this all wrong.
00:21:47I have a husband.
00:21:54He's just your husband on paper, nothing more.
00:21:57Stop lying to yourself, Adriana.
00:21:59You want me.
00:22:01No!
00:22:03Sebastian, you can't do this.
00:22:06I'm married.
00:22:07Let me go!
00:22:10So what if you're married?
00:22:12He's worthless.
00:22:14You need a real man.
00:22:15Let me go!
00:22:28Get your hands off my wife.
00:22:31I'll kill you!
00:22:44Adriana?
00:22:47Why?
00:22:51I didn't mean to.
00:22:53You're the one who went after Sebastian.
00:22:59Sebastian!
00:23:00Sebastian, are you all right?
00:23:03I'm fine.
00:23:04I'm fine.
00:23:09Magnus.
00:23:11Apologize to Mr. Haververd.
00:23:13Now!
00:23:13You want me to apologize?
00:23:15He did that to you and you're still protecting him?
00:23:20I said apologize.
00:23:22Now!
00:23:24I refuse.
00:23:30I'm sorry, Adriana.
00:23:32Seeing you again, I lost myself for a moment.
00:23:36Let's sit.
00:23:38Talk this through.
00:23:39It...
00:23:42No need.
00:23:43I think you need to cool off first.
00:23:55Damn it.
00:24:06Three years, and this is all I get to keep.
00:24:10My first birthday in this family.
00:24:24Here, this is yours now.
00:24:26Happy birthday.
00:24:29I'm exhausted.
00:24:30Gonna go to bed.
00:24:33The things I once treasured.
00:24:35Now, none of it really matters anymore.
00:24:39Morning, Magnus.
00:24:40What are you up to?
00:24:45Here, Jack.
00:24:47This is yours now.
00:24:48No!
00:24:49I can't take this.
00:24:54None of it matters anymore.
00:24:56I should just let it go.
00:25:00Besides, I'll be leaving soon.
00:25:02You're leaving?
00:25:04Where?
00:25:10I know you're upset.
00:25:11I shouldn't have hit you last night.
00:25:14But can't you cut me some slack and stop sulking about it?
00:25:18I'm not sulking.
00:25:22Come on.
00:25:23You started it.
00:25:24I only asked you to apologize.
00:25:27That bastard was assaulting you.
00:25:28I did that to protect you.
00:25:30You?
00:25:31Protect me?
00:25:35Where were you when I was carving out trade routes?
00:25:38When the fleet was in danger?
00:25:39When this family faced ruin?
00:25:41Where were you?
00:25:42And now you attack the man who saved us and call that protecting me.
00:25:46Adriana, you have never once seen me.
00:25:49Ever.
00:25:53After father died, I carried this whole business myself.
00:25:58I sailed every route, dealt with every flash, and built this family to what it is today.
00:26:03What exactly have you done besides mop decks, mend ropes, and make soup nobody needed?
00:26:11Never mind.
00:26:13Today is the last day.
00:26:14My duty is done.
00:26:16It's time for me the truth.
00:26:18You think every Ashford ship has sailed clear of pirates all these years because your routes were just that good?
00:26:24Of course.
00:26:25Let me tell you, none of it was ever your doing.
00:26:29I have been standing between you and every disaster this sea could throw at you in secret.
00:26:35What did you just say?
00:26:43I am so disappointed in you.
00:26:47I thought you were just jealous.
00:26:50I never imagined you were this vain.
00:26:53Do you know what I need?
00:26:54A man who shields me from the storm.
00:26:57Not a loser who shows up after the fact to steal credit!
00:27:01Is that how you see me?
00:27:03How you've always seen me?
00:27:10Listen, Sebastian helped us this time, and we'll need the Navy's protection going forward.
00:27:15Come with me, ask for forgiveness, and I can forget what happened last night.
00:27:22No.
00:27:23I won't do it.
00:27:25This isn't a negotiation.
00:27:27I'm warning you.
00:27:29Apologize, or we're getting a divorce!
00:27:34Do you think you actually matter here?
00:27:37If it weren't for my father's will, I'd replace you in a heartbeat.
00:27:46So, you're telling me you feel trapped by this marriage?
00:27:52Fine.
00:27:53If that's the case,
00:27:56then I'll give you your freedom.
00:28:00We're getting a divorce!
00:28:23Father, please get into the cabin!
00:28:25With your lung condition, you can't withstand a storm like this!
00:28:28Father, who could be so important that you have to meet them yourself?
00:28:35Someone who can decide whether the Ashford family lives or dies.
00:28:38Get into the cabin.
00:28:40No one is allowed to come out without my permission.
00:28:51He's alive?
00:28:52Why is he nailed to the rock?
00:29:06Your kindness saved me, child.
00:29:08In return, I'll make you the true master of these seas,
00:29:11and you'll never have to struggle to survive again.
00:29:13Really?
00:29:18Keep this safe.
00:29:19Whenever you need my help,
00:29:20go to the storm's throat,
00:29:21at the far north edge of the Atlantic,
00:29:23and sound this horn.
00:29:39Oh, great sea god!
00:29:41Your faithful servant, Edmund Ashford,
00:29:44has returned once again to greet you.
00:29:46Edmund,
00:29:47Forty years was it since we last spoke.
00:29:50What brings you here today?
00:29:51My lord, my days are numbered.
00:29:53I fear neither of my daughters can keep this family together after I'm gone.
00:29:57I know I am but a humble servant,
00:29:59but would you grant me one final favor,
00:30:01as a reward for my sixty years of faithful service?
00:30:05Would you please protect my family
00:30:08for three years after I'm gone?
00:30:11Very well.
00:30:12I will protect the Ashford family for three more years.
00:30:15After that,
00:30:16my duty to your family ends.
00:30:27Father!
00:30:31Father, who is this?
00:30:32As you can see,
00:30:33a fisherman.
00:30:34You can call me Magnus.
00:30:36A fisherman?
00:30:36Father, you risked your life bringing us into the storm.
00:30:39For this fisherman?
00:30:40Quiet!
00:30:41I have an announcement.
00:30:44From this day forward,
00:30:45Magnus is going to be Adriana's husband.
00:30:48Father!
00:30:49What are you saying?
00:30:50You want me to marry a fisherman I've never even met?
00:30:53She's right!
00:30:54This is crazy!
00:30:55Besides,
00:30:55Adriana's already dating Sebastian Haverworth.
00:31:03This isn't up for discussion.
00:31:05If you want to inherit my estate and title,
00:31:08you'll do as I say!
00:31:10Father, please don't do this!
00:31:13Fine.
00:31:14I'll marry him.
00:31:24The man before you commands the entire sea.
00:31:27If you can't earn his heart within the next three years,
00:31:29our family and its legacy will not survive.
00:31:32I don't know what you did to convince my father to trust you,
00:31:34but I'm telling you now,
00:31:35it won't work on me.
00:31:37This marriage is a formality nothing more.
00:31:39I will never love you.
00:31:45Perhaps in three years,
00:31:47it'll change your mind.
00:31:51Sure,
00:31:52he might be Adriana's husband,
00:31:53but everyone knows it's only on paper.
00:31:56She won't even look at him.
00:31:58So true.
00:31:59Three years,
00:31:59and all the man's done is mop decks and catch minnows.
00:32:02He's basically a glory deckhead.
00:32:06Magnus,
00:32:07don't think you can just slack off.
00:32:08We've got a route to plan.
00:32:10Go count the cargo hold.
00:32:12Come on, lads.
00:32:13That beer's not going to drink itself.
00:32:14Yeah!
00:32:18One of Ashford's finest.
00:32:21Take her down,
00:32:22and we'll have enough coin for booze and women for months.
00:32:26Sharpen up, boys.
00:32:27Ram her!
00:32:29Yeah!
00:32:36You have three seconds to leave these waters,
00:32:39or suffer the consequences.
00:32:42What suicidal scullyhead dare stand between me and my fortune?
00:32:47Do you wish for death?
00:32:52Three.
00:32:55Two.
00:32:56You ask for this.
00:32:58One.
00:32:59Fuck you!
00:33:00Fire!
00:33:01Blow that idiot to smithereens!
00:33:03For what's up,
00:33:18Two.
00:33:19It's the only Oglet μうτεый g eficて
00:33:19That being out of ten,
00:33:19folks.
00:33:19Ram that bastard!
00:33:22Hmph.
00:33:23One.
00:33:28Two.
00:33:33flooroka respect Human code
00:33:36A monster! It's a Kraken! Run! Retrie!
00:33:48Magnus! Keep it down out here! We're trying to play cards!
00:33:57For three years, I've protected this family in secret.
00:34:01I've turned storms away from their fleet, kept sea beasts out of their path.
00:34:07I promise you, the Ashford family's ships will sail to every continent on Earth!
00:34:13Only three days left. Three more days, and then my duty here is done.
00:34:25Magnus, Lady Adriana collapsed. It's her anemia. You need to go. Now.
00:34:40I hear your fisherman husband is awfully obedient. I think it's just an act so he can keep living off
00:34:45your family for free.
00:34:47Ooh, let's make a bet, Adriana. If it comes down to it, do you think he'd give his own blood
00:34:52for you?
00:34:53Now that's an idea. Ten gold? Des he wouldn't. Doc rats are always out for themselves.
00:34:59Fine. Ten gold for me too? I say he would.
00:35:04Elloween, is your brother-in-law actually reliable or not?
00:35:08Please. Magnus is completely whipped. He'd hand over his own heart if she asked. We've got this bed in the
00:35:14bag.
00:35:19Adriana, lie down, quick. Leave the rest to us.
00:35:36Kim, what happened to Adriana?
00:35:41Her anemia flared up. She needs a blood transfusion or she'll die.
00:35:45Take my blood. Take as much as you need.
00:35:51Magnus, you'll really do it?
00:35:59I knew it. Pay up, boys. A bet's a bet.
00:36:03Fuck it. Why is he so goddamn loyal?
00:36:09This is unbelievable! Adriana, how'd you train him?
00:36:17Adriana? You're... alright?
00:36:21Of course. Don't make such a big deal about it. They just wanted to play a little prank on you.
00:36:25Look at him. He's like a trained circus animal. And now I'm out ten gold coins.
00:36:34Make him do a few tricks for us. It'll be hilarious.
00:36:36Come on, have him do something. Everyone's dying for a little entertainment.
00:36:52You'd really let them humiliate your own husband?
00:36:57Honestly, Magnus. Relax. It was a joke. You don't need to make a whole thing out of it.
00:37:05Careful. You and my sister are married in name only. If she weren't so generous, we would have thrown you
00:37:10out ages ago.
00:37:11Forget it. Three days, and the deal's over. I'll be gone, and I'll have nothing more to do with this
00:37:18family.
00:37:19See what I mean? He's like a barnaker we can't get rid of.
00:37:24Enough, Eloise.
00:37:25I'm not wrong, though.
00:37:29It's getting late. Everyone should go home.
00:37:33I'll go run your bath.
00:37:36Sis, don't bother explaining yourself to this petty loser. He's useless anyway.
00:37:41Eloise, he's my husband. And your brother-in-law.
00:37:50Ugh, gross.
00:37:59Drink it while it's hot. It's good for you.
00:38:03Miss Ashford, we're in big trouble.
00:38:06The fleet carrying Princess Rosalind is trapped in the Devil's Triangle.
00:38:09The Devil's Triangle? That water's supposed to be crawling with monsters everyone steers clear.
00:38:14And that ship's carrying Princess Rosalind and half the royal treasury.
00:38:16We're screwed if it sinks!
00:38:19How could this happen?
00:38:20Don't worry about it, Adriana. Leave it to me.
00:38:23Oh, please. You're a fisherman.
00:38:26What exactly are you going to do out there besides drown?
00:38:28Wave that rusty old spear at a sea monster?
00:38:31Enough, Magnus. We don't have time for this now.
00:38:46Hey, Mr. Magnus. Where are you going?
00:38:51Just a quick trip to the Devil's Triangle.
00:38:54You should go home before your mother gets worried.
00:38:58The Devil's Triangle?
00:39:00The Devil's Triangle?
00:39:07Andriana! This is it. Remember Sebastian? He's a general in the Royal Knave now. He commands the entire coastal fleet.
00:39:14He's the only one who can pull off a rescue out there.
00:39:17Eloise, I'm already married.
00:39:18Sister! Sebastian is the only one who can fix this.
00:39:22Don't worry. We've kept in touch all this time. He's never stopped thinking about you.
00:39:26Just one word from you and he'll help us.
00:39:29I'll write. I'll write to him now.
00:39:45Damn it. Why are they auditing the war funds now?
00:39:48Where the hell am I supposed to find the money to cover everything I took?
00:39:52General, a letter for you. From the Ashford House.
00:40:05Well, isn't this perfect? Just when I needed money to cover my tracks, the solution walks right through my door.
00:40:13So she's still hung up on me, is she? Perfect.
00:40:16Handling her crisis handles mine. And I'll get her back in the process.
00:40:26Am I going to die here?
00:40:43You should have stayed in your abyss. Instead, you came all this way just to die.
00:41:01Do you?
00:41:03Oh.
