Dad Tries Showing Kids How To Climb Tree Before Branch Breaks

Leading by example is a key part of parenting, but nature does not always cooperate with the lesson plan.

The clip, shared by Vivian, shows her husband scaling a tree during an outdoor family outing.

Vivian explained to WooGlobe, "We wanted to go on a family hike. My husband wanted to teach the kids to be adventurous, explore, and try new things."

He makes his way up the trunk smoothly, encouraging the kids from above as he demonstrates how to explore the woods.

However, the return journey proves far more unpredictable than the climb up. As he prepares to make his way back down to the ground, a treacherous branch gives out directly beneath his weight, snapping without warning. The sudden structural break sends him tumbling straight down to the forest floor below. He lands on the ground below, leaving the family with an unforgettable story from their afternoon hike.
