00:00Hey Tyler, great to see you again, now it's for real.
00:03And can you take us through the last couple hours or maybe days since you arrived in Paris?
00:09Yeah, feeling good.
00:11We just traveled from New York after our game, so we were able to get here a week early.
00:16I got to spend some time with my family here in Paris as well.
00:18We went to shopping a little bit, some stores.
00:21We went to the PSG game last night, that was awesome.
00:24And then we came here and had a good practice in Versailles.
00:27So, so far, so good, man.
00:29We're excited to be here.
00:30How do you differentiate between soccer and football?
00:34This is definitely, going to the game, that was probably one of the best experiences I've been a part of.
00:40That was a real football game for sure.
00:41So, we're trying to get American football out here in France to that same level.
00:46So, we're not there yet, but I think we can get there.
00:49So, you said you were traveling directly from New York after a win and after the beginning of the season
00:56that is not so good until now.
00:58But what do you think this kind of game in Paris and being together for a whole week
01:03can bring in terms of traction, momentum?
01:07Yeah, I think it's huge.
01:09I think it's huge just because, one, you're coming off a win.
01:12We kind of put together a really good game.
01:14We're kind of still building.
01:15We haven't yet put together a full, kind of complete game as a team.
01:19And I think this is a really good opportunity for us.
01:21And then coming out here, being able to spend time together, being able to practice in these elements,
01:26it's really good for us.
01:26So, I think more than anything, we're going to be really prepared.
01:30And how do you judge the performance so far?
01:32Because when you look at the content of the game, you had some really good periods.
01:36And for some game endings, stuff like that, it was not quite the same level.
01:42How do you judge that now?
01:43Yeah, I mean, I think the biggest thing for us is we've got to learn how to finish it whenever
01:47we're up.
01:47You know, we have those really good drives, really good, you know,
01:50there's going to be up and downs in the game, right?
01:52Just like football here in France, there's going to be momentum swings.
01:56We've got to stay calm and we've got to figure out how we can put that together.
02:00So, every week it's a challenge.
02:02It's really good teams every single week.
02:03So, I think it's a really good opportunity for us against the Steelers.
02:07And how do you balance between all the activities in Paris, presence for media, everything,
02:14and the game you need to prepare for?
02:16Yeah.
02:17I mean, I think we took, you know, Monday, we had that, you know, a couple days yesterday
02:20and to really kind of get our traction, get our feet here in Paris, get some rest,
02:26and then also spend some time together.
02:28But now, you know, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we're kind of game plan mode full ahead.
02:32You know, we're at our hotel, we're preparing.
02:35So, it's going to be good.
02:36It's going to be no other, like, no any different than any other road trip.
02:39So, I think it'll be kind of here on out, we're game mode.
02:42Was it tough to adjust the jet lag?
02:45No, not too bad.
02:46I think just more than anything is trying to get as much sleep as you can.
02:49And we just stayed up that first night as long as we could to get adjusted.
02:53So, we're all good now.
02:55And how about playing a home game on a broad stadium like that?
03:00Is that something you fear?
03:03No, no.
03:04I think we treat it as kind of like a home and away game at the same time.
03:09You know, we got the New Orleans influence here.
03:11They got the connection with France.
03:12The Steelers are going to travel well, but we also got kind of a new environment.
03:17So, we're prepared for anything, but we're also just excited to be here.
03:21And what do you expect from the game against the Steelers in terms of facing this huge defense
03:28and Aaron Rodgers?
03:29Yeah, I think it's going to be physical games.
03:32For us, offensively, we got to be able to continue to run the ball.
03:35We got to have domination from that standpoint.
03:38We got to be able to kind of take what we can, take some shots.
03:41And then, you know, they're experienced all over the field.
03:44So, we're going to be prepared, and I think it's going to be a good match.
03:47And how do you feel personally going to your – it's not so many games as a starter.
03:52How do you feel right now?
03:53I feel great.
03:54I feel great.
03:54I feel like every single week I've gotten better.
03:57Obviously, I'm not, you know, Aaron Rodgers in, you know, 40s, who's one of the goats.
04:02But I think more than anything is kind of continue to learn every single week
04:06and continue to do what I can, running the ball as well, and find my check down.
04:11So, I think that's more than anything is how do I keep getting better.
04:14And how excited is the team about this event taking place in Paris?
04:19We're extremely excited.
04:20You see the energy out here today at practice.
04:23We're listening to music, having fun.
04:25You know, it's raining for five minutes, sunny next, raining again.
04:29It's Paris at the start of the year.
04:31We're like, this is awesome.
04:32So, I mean, it's been great.
04:34We're having fun.
04:35We're excited.
04:35And talk about the opportunity to gel together throughout the week here.
04:39Yeah, I mean, that's probably the most special part is being able to kind of come out here,
04:43practice together, put some work in in a new place, be able to hang out, spend time the whole week.
04:48So, it's very unique and we're thankful for it.
04:52Well, thank you so much, Tyler, and good luck for the game.
04:54Thank you.
04:55Good to see you.
