00:02Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar says she's moving out of her Washington, D.C. home after
00:07federal agents searched it last week. In her first interview since the October 12th raid,
00:13Omar says she woke up around 6 in the morning to Homeland Security investigators banging on her
00:18door. Authorities haven't publicly explained the reason for the search, but news outlets report the
00:23Trump administration is investigating possible immigration fraud and false statements. Omar,
00:29who was born in Somalia and is a naturalized U.S. citizen, told MSNOW's Chris Hayes Wednesday she's
00:35confident she's done nothing wrong, but she says she no longer feels safe in her home.
00:40I mean, obviously, I can't continue to live there. So I have to figure out where to move to because
00:47why not? Because our address has been public and with the death threats that I deal with,
00:54it's not, it's no longer going to be feasible to be in that house and have my kids like visiting
01:02off and on and having people track them. President Trump, a longtime critic of Omar,
01:06who has called for her deportation, told reporters Tuesday she could go to jail.
01:10You know, they keep talking about deportation. No, she could go to jail.
01:14This is just my opinion. I think she's a sick, a very dishonest person, but who hates our country?
01:22No charges have been announced against Omar. The search comes just weeks before the November
01:273rd midterms when she's up for reelection.
