Selene, Goddess of the Frost Moon, gave her whole heart, only to witness her husband—the Sun God—entangled with the Goddess of Seduction. Betrayed, she remained calm and resolute. No tears, no outbursts. She chose to seal herself away, frozen in the uttermost northern abyss for three eras.
When the Sun God learned the gravity of what he had done, he descended into madness and remorse. He cast the temptress down into the Underworld, and willingly surrendered his divinity to become a mortal.
