00:24You heard from Sean that they may have millions of dollars to spend.
00:28You may have seen yourself an innumerable number of YouTube pre-roll ads
00:33about the Delivery Protection Act over these last few weeks and months.
00:37And yet we know that all of that cannot match the most powerful force in our city's history.
00:45Workers who do not know how to quit.
00:48We stand here together because this same coalition led by organized labor
00:54has won so much of what makes this city such an incredible place to live in.
00:59And this same coalition will make it such that the workers who deliver the profits,
01:04one of the most profitable companies this world has ever seen,
01:07will finally also be able to earn the dignity and respect that they have long deserved.

02:18All that we were waiting for is the Speaker back then to take the bill to a vote.

02:27As a matter of fact, these Amazon workers will be working with pride and dignity.
02:31But unfortunately, too many times, when we are called upon as union leaders, as union members,
02:38to get people elected, there's a lot of promises made.

02:44Like we will get that to a vote immediately.
02:46We're calling on the Speaker right now because we have veto-proof legislation.
02:51We have supported the majority of the New York City Council.
02:56We have champions fighting and waiting for this legislation.
03:01Now it's time to get off your ass and make delivery on those promises that you promised the most important
03:08people.
03:09The hard-working people of the City of New York.
03:12And call for the vote.
03:13Too many times, we give our sweat equity as union members, as union leaders.
03:18We buy into the fact that this promise is made.
03:21Well, we're here today to make sure those promises are kept.

03:26Don't fall in love with corporate America.
03:29Don't allow Jeff Bezos and that white-collar crime citizen to think they called the shots in the City of

03:35They can spend $22 million.
03:37They can spend $32 million.
03:38But the one thing's for certain.
03:40All we need is to hold that white-collar crime citizen accountable.

03:45A vote that's going to pass.
03:46And it's going to create opportunity, not just in New York City, but around this entire country.
