00:00Picture this, you're driving to work, sun hits your windshield, and there it is, that scratch, staring back at you
00:05like it pays rent.
00:07Before you drop hundreds on a glass shop, hear me out.
00:10I went digging for the best deals on fixed scratched windshield glass with cerium oxide powder, and I found 5
00:16kits that actually work.
00:18Let's get into them.
00:20First up, the budget champion, 2 bucks.
00:24Literally $1.99.
00:27This one's a polishing compound that does double duty.
00:30It buffs out light scratches and strips that oily film that builds up on glass over time.
00:35Nearly 5,000 people have bought it, and at 4.5 stars, the value here is honestly ridiculous.
00:41If you're on the fence about whether cerium oxide even works, this is the cheapest way to find out.
00:47Next, the all-rounder at $6.21.
00:51This kit is built for deep cleaning and polishing, so if your windshield has seen some things,
00:56wiper scum, water spots, a scratch, or two, this one handles it all in one go.
01:01It's rated 4.6, sold almost 5,000 units, and it's the one I'd grab if you want a proper
01:06restoration,
01:07not just a quick touch-up.
01:09Number 3 is the size sweet spot, 80 grams for $4.98.
01:14That's a lot of powder for the money, and cerium oxide goes further than you'd think,
01:19a little mixed with water covers a big section of glass.
01:22It also works as a polish and cleaner for windscreen waxing.
01:264.5 stars, almost 5,000 sold.
01:30If you've got more than one scratch, this is the smart buy.
01:34Now, this one's small but mighty 30 grams at $5.36.
01:39Here's the kicker, it's the only one on this list with a perfect 5.0 rating.
01:44Over 4,000 buyers, zero complaints averaging out.
01:48The smaller size is actually a plus if you're fixing one specific scratch on a window or mirror
01:53and don't want leftover powder sitting in your garage for years.
01:57Last but not least, the 80-gram kit at $5.93.
02:02Same generous size as number 3, but this one's rated 4.6 and it's specifically marketed for
02:07mirrors too, so windshield, side windows, bathroom mirror, all fair game.
02:12It comes as a full repair tool setup, which means less guesswork for first-timers.
02:17Solid pick if you want versatility.
02:20That's all 5, links to every one of them are down in the description.
02:24If this saved you a trip to the glass shop,
02:27hit that like button and subscribe for more deals like these.
02:30See you in the next one!
