00:00sometimes political ads go from shocking to just plain bizarre alex walker who was running against
00:05lauren boadbert for colorado's third congressional district created an ad with the tagline colorado
00:10needs a bull not a bull shitter that's pretty good the ad consists of a series of shots where
00:15colorado citizens are being graphically terrorized by logs of shit falling from the sky and an old
00:20woman is literally crushed to death by a car-sized turd and a father is knocked out by a smaller
00:25log
00:25as he runs to save his daughter in slow motion yeah and at one point alex walker picks up the
00:30child's poop covered stuffed animal and starts giving a serious speech about colorado citizens
00:35deserving a living wage and freedom of choice which i just want to say creativity here is not bad
00:38you like make your opponent look like a fucking like a monster talk to a shit covered teddy bear
00:43whatever we need to figure some stuff out mr bear the ad goes on to show people being blasted in
00:48the
00:48face with diarrhea at mock speeds before showing lauren bobert in a blood red tinted office where
00:54she laughs maniacally and launches liquid shit all over the place i mean i don't even know how it
00:58processed i mean like am i eating dinner when i'm watching this am i just am i throwing up you
01:02know
01:02am i also like a bar like having a drink and i'm like i mean i don't even know how
01:07i'm supposed to
01:08digest that yeah would you would that change your opinion um i wouldn't really know what the fuck i
01:12just saw because also half the time whenever these ads come up it's like someone i've never heard of
01:16before my entire life it's just like don't vote for him vote for me i'm like i don't know who
01:21you are
01:22he just showed a bunch of literal shit on the screen i'm kind of disgusted political ads are
01:27no stranger to getting down to the dirt to sway voters the real hard to look at political ads
01:32however are the ones where politicians try to look based and epic they're always the worst you can
01:37never do it that's why i think legitimately the smear campaign ad is almost always the way to go i
01:42i hate
01:43it but i just mean it you you are running a safer bet by just being like yeah well he
01:47does this versus
01:48just being like hmm well i'm actually pretty sweet
01:51you
