00:01I just want to say a few things really I think it's important I think recently we
00:08haven't had a good time I think that's pretty obvious so I totally accept that
00:13what what we're going through at the moment we had five months of relative
00:22success in a spell where I was happy with a lot of things that I was seeing
00:26and that we were doing as a team we haven't done well enough lately I think
00:33that's pretty obvious to say and we've had a spell that we're really not happy
00:36with Wednesday was a bad night it was a bad night for for a lot of reasons and
00:41it was about it was a bad night that kind of hurt a lot and obviously hurt me to
00:46see us play that way to see how the game panned out it was as I said after the
00:52game it was really unacceptable for us to to play like that and to be like that
00:58the supporters are a huge part of this football club for me to see the
01:01supporters have to have to make the effort and the time and spend the money to come
01:06and support us on Wednesday and have the feeling after the game like we all felt
01:10was was it was a tough moment I think that's that's pretty obvious my
01:18responsibility is to get a team on a pitch that represents this football club
01:21represents to support us and they can be proud of it with the identity that we
01:26show and we have gone away from that just just recently in certain games which
01:31which I'm totally fully aware of and definitely doing something about so I
01:36think it's important that we all recognize that I certainly recognize it and our
01:42supporters are the utmost of importance to me in this football club and for
01:45them to to feel like they felt for five months at the start of the season at the
01:51start of the year for us to to have that about us and that connection and that
01:55real vigor and intensity and enjoyment and passion that we all felt through that
02:01period was was was something that we need to get back to and we will get back to
02:07it and I fully believe that but I think it's important that we recognize that we
02:12we haven't been doing that this the the foundation is football club and the
02:17values of this this football club have been put down and etched and fought for
02:23many many years and I totally understand and I get every single one of them and it
02:29comes down to humility it comes down to being humble it comes down to being
02:32hard-working and being really proud to to work hard and being proud to live up to
02:37them values and you know it's there's a resilience about this football club
02:43that's been shown for for a long long time and whether that's bouncing back from
02:49adversity whether that's comebacks whether that's late goals whether that's
02:53success whether that's sustaining success is a resilience in this football
02:58club that runs very very deep and I'm I've seen it with my own eyes I felt it I'm
03:03aware of some of the individuals and know them closely who have been a big part of
03:06that history I said it after the game Manchester United it's always bigger and
03:11it always has been always will be bigger than any single individual bigger than
03:16me bigger than any of the players and it always has been you know fortunate enough
03:22to know some players myself and play with some Ryan Giggs I'll give you one of the
03:26greatest to play for this football club it was never about Ryan Giggs it was
03:32about Manchester United Wayne Rooney was top goal scorer this of this football
03:37club his biggest thing was playing for the team sacrificing for the team and
03:41what was good for Manchester United so Alex Ferguson the best manager of of all
03:45time the greatest for me and working with him and his his main priority was
03:50Manchester United and going back to Sir Matt Sir Bobby the resilience was beyond belief
03:55of what they showed and the way they rebuilt this football club and again it
04:01was based on being humble being having humility and hard work and we can never
04:08lose that and I won't let this I won't let us lose that we've we've had it for a
04:11spell I feel very strongly about that I think it's it inspires me a lot to live
04:17up to that and keep driving that with the players in the group that we have we
04:22shown for for a good period of time and that we're capable of it in a moment yes
04:28we're in a moment where it's it's it's not gone well so we need to show what
04:34exactly what it means and you know respect this football club respect what it takes to
04:40be here respect what it takes to win what you have to do to win we're not I'm not
04:44entitled to be here entitlement cannot be at this football club we're not
04:48entitled to win we've won in the past we've got an incredible history where
04:51that doesn't mean that you're entitled to just win I'm fully aware of that it
04:58takes it takes hard work takes a lot of sacrifice you got it you got to invest
05:02yourself in the football club and you got to do a lot of things that maybe aren't
05:05so nice but you got to do it for each other and you got to win and you got to
05:08win
05:10and I think it's important we live up to that and it's important for me to to push
05:15those values and it's important for our supporters to feel that moving forward we've
05:20had it we've kind of lost our way a little bit if I'm totally honest and we'll get it
05:26back I'm totally convinced we'll get it back I respect this football club respect what
05:31it takes because it's very very important to me
