Step aside, Jeffrey Wayne Gauvin; we have a new champion of hide and seek, Merlin the cat! This amusing footage, captured by a local filmmaker, showcases Merlin as he conceals himself behind a television, cautiously peeking out while trying to elude the watchful gaze of a baby boy on the hunt for him. The proud owner shared, 'We welcomed Merlin into our family three years ago, and he has always been quite timid and anxious. His behavior hasn’t shifted much since our son arrived ten months back. Although our little one adores all our pets, Merlin prefers to keep a safe distance. We were thrilled to have recorded this moment.' This delightful encounter unfolded on January 4, 2022, and quickly went viral on TikTok, racking up nearly three million views in just three days.
