00:00I did want to talk to you a little about the Liberty because they swept the Lynx and then they
00:03got swept by the dream.
00:05When you watch those two series with the Liberty, what changed for them and which version of the Liberty that
00:11we saw tells you more about who New York really is?
00:13Not to be harsh, but when I was doing my New York Liberty postmortem, OK, on their season, the way
00:18that they went down was a microcosm of what the season had been.
00:21They had high highs and low lows. And the only thing consistent about them was the inconsistency, unfortunately.
00:26Now, there are bright spots, meaning Brianna Stewart had another amazing career year.
00:31Paulina Stier came out and emerged. I just think the lack of consistency that we saw in the overall collective
00:37performance, because as I was going game by game, I was like, OK, the guards showed up, but not the
00:42bigs.
00:42All right. The big showed up and then not the guards. And then it just was like you're fighting for
00:46your lives.
00:47It was never the full contingent at that semifinal level, whereas in the first round. Right. It was great.
00:54It was cool to see this team live up to potential.
