00:00Right. Sunday. Is this Sunday night? No, Sunday afternoon football division game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions,
00:07the Packers, who after two weeks of the season were written off by everybody and now are well within striking
00:15distance of winning the division again.
00:17Here is Green Bay playing some really good football, getting three earlier in the week, some three and a half
00:23and maybe even some fours. Detroit has been that starting to look like the team they were a year ago.
00:30As you can see, the total is 55 and a half. But count me in on one of those people
00:35who do not think that Detroit should be laying points against a lot of teams in the NFL.
00:41Their defense to me is the worst in the league, although the only team I can find for fantasy this
00:46week. Oh, my gosh. I'm going to take it on the chin there. Probably get my one point or two
00:49points.
00:51So, Joe, I am just not a Lions believer. What do I believe in the Lions? What do I believe,
00:55Joe, is that they're going to win a week and then lose and then win a week and then lose
00:58and then win two and then lose two.
01:01And at the end of the season, we're going to look up. They're going to be nine and eight, eight
01:04and nine. I think Green Bay is the better team here.
01:07I don't think they should be catching points like this. So I'll discuss that later in the show.
01:11But that's my opinion on this one. Well, speaking of points, I'm just going the over.
01:15You can have a side. Enjoy it, everybody. This one feels like a little Thanksgiving.
01:19I don't know why every time the Packers play the Lions and in that dome, it just feels very Thanksgiving
01:24to me for some reason.
01:25So I'm going to go ahead and take the over and some other things to keep in mind in this
01:30game to the Detroit Lions.
01:32From a stat standpoint, I've given up the most receiving yards and receptions to tight ends.
01:36So I'm looking for Tucker Craft. By the way, they've also got up nine touchdowns on the year.
01:40Nine touchdowns to tight end. So I'm looking absolutely for Tucker Craft to have a big day here.
01:45Now, you do have Brian Branch returning to that secondary, which is one of the key cogs there they've been
01:50missing.
01:51Does he cure all of the ills for the Detroit Lions secondary?
01:54I would say no, but it's certainly a help.
01:57So maybe they can at least slow down a little bit of the absolute bloodletting that's happened here for this
02:02secondary all season long.
02:04So Brian Branch, a great player coming back from an Achilles injury.
02:07Let's see if he can help the Lions kind of just stop the bleeding because that's what's been happening here
02:12for this squad.
02:12Tucker Craft over on the 49 and a half again to score a touchdown.
02:15I like Amon Ross St. Brown, 78 and a half over as well.
02:18Sam Laporta plus 165 to score a touchdown.
02:21I don't think any lead is safe in this game.
02:23Jared Goff in the dome, always good.
02:25Also coming off a buy and refresh.
02:27Also good for Jameer Gibbs.
02:29Well rested also.
02:29So you also got the returning Josh Jacobs in this game, which is a fascinating narrative to watch.
02:33That offensive line for the Packers, Craig, is objectively bad.
02:37So on top of that, like Josh Jacobs hasn't played much, hasn't really, we don't know the status of him.
02:42Will he be on a pitch count?
02:43It's going to be fascinating to see how effective he is in this first game back here for the Packers,
02:48or if that offensive line ends up making him somebody that's more valuable in theory than practicality.
02:54Yeah, we really don't know because the running backs for the Packers have been the worst crew in the NFL
02:59this season with Brooks and Lloyd.
03:02Oh my gosh, Lloyd has been two yards a carry.
03:05So it's been rough.
03:06We'll see.
03:06I don't know if Jacobs has a big impact in this game.
03:09We'll find out.
