Married a Dockhand, He Rules the Dark Tide is a contemporary romance drama about a fake marriage created to secure a family inheritance. Vivian is the legitimate successor to a maritime conglomerate, but a conspiracy involving her stepmother Diana and Colin destroyed her position five years ago.
After throwing herself into the sea to protect her honor, Vivian was rescued by Hank, the legendary Ghost Captain of the Black Sea. Now determined to reclaim her grandfather's maritime empire, she faces a new obstacle: the inheritance rules require her to have a legal spouse.
Vivian decides to hire a fake husband and unexpectedly meets Hank again, believing him to be a poor dockhand. Yet he is concealing his true identity and pretending to work as a salvage worker. Their short-term contract marriage becomes more complicated when her five-year-old daughter, Lila, instinctively recognizes Hank as her biological father.
With inheritance conflict, hidden identity, and an unexpected family connection, this 34-episode series offers a compelling mix of romance and drama.
