00:03welcome to coffee with karan i'm karan johar and this ladies and gentlemen boys and girls
00:09is season nine so here's the math 22 years 266 months almost to the day 162 episodes counting
00:20this one and more headlines than i can possibly keep track of it also means i've spent the better
00:26part of two decades essentially asking people about their sex lives and now that people have
00:31started asking me about mine i think it's time to leave because sadly my answers are nowhere near
00:37as interesting as theirs but but what a ride it's been it truly has we made memories and we made
00:43memes stars came here let their guard down and very very thoughtfully put their feet straight into their
00:49respective mouths we've witnessed friendships collapse rivalries reignite and celebrities
00:54discover that the most dangerous thing in bollywood isn't a flop no it's a rapid fire round and now
01:01we have just one last season to keep things crackling i have to uphold the time on a tradition of
01:07the show
01:07and ask the questions that truly matter is a certain superstar still a virgin who's hot and who's not
01:14serious stuff like that ladies and gentlemen very serious stuff a wise man once said it's done bro and
01:21i think he's right so who better to kick off my final season than the man himself he's appeared on
01:27this couch only twice in 22 years and it's taken me 10 long years to get him back he's one
01:34of our last
01:34true blue heroes he speaks his mind wears his heart on his sleeve and whenever possible wears absolutely
01:41nothing on his chest a superstar to billions and emotion to many and simply bye to the world
01:48at large ladies and gentlemen give it up for none other than salman khan
02:06yeah should i sit there yeah okay we can do that no no no no this is your last season
02:19i don't mind no one deserves to sit there more than you after coffee with karan
02:24every coffee with salman coffee why don't you take over no you come here right now
02:30my coffee is right here okay all right let's do it okay firstly thank you for coming and being a
02:36part
02:36thank you karan of the last season of coffee with karan yeah asa toh nah ke last season bol bol
02:42ke
02:42okay you got all of us to do coffee with karan and then you'll say that jio hotstar never like
02:49a car season the last season did so well so karan come on one last season and then again a
02:55last
02:55season and again one more season i promise you i'm not coming back sure oh yeah in the famous words
03:02like i said of a mega movie star it's done bro it's done oh yeah all good things should come
03:10to an
03:11end you'll still be doing big boss i'll be off the grid it's just the beginning for me it's the
03:16big
03:17as it should be look at how good you're looking so can i i'm going to start with an honest
03:21confession
03:22no one gets me more stressed nervous and hyper than you and i don't know why it hasn't changed and
03:27i
03:27think is it because of you or is it because of somebody else it's only see i mean right now
03:32you
03:32should not be stressed because everything is all good and has been good for the longest time yeah
03:36god willing one one point of time it was not good so i could have understood that um
03:43why was it scared of me because of not you because of shah rook no it was never no it
03:52was sure about
03:52that i remember my first professional meeting with you was when i met you at chunky's house
04:00and i had been rejected by a couple of main lead actors i'll tell you who all rejected you i
04:05think
04:06saifali khan rejected you yeah chandra choos rejected you yes and i think some three four more yes many
04:12others and i was standing rather sad at uh chunky's house he had a house party and you came up
04:19to me and
04:19your exact words were you've been shopping so i said so i said yes and he said okay come tomorrow
04:27and
04:27narrate your film to me i said where should i come because firstly i couldn't believe you were even
04:32asking me to come to narrate the film because because alvira had already informed me yeah and
04:37you know how i feel about your mom and your dad yes so i'm going to tell you a story
04:41of um your dad
04:43soil and me so tom uncle we called him because he was very close to the government in mauritius yes
04:50so
04:51he shot some films there earlier so we called him for i think it was hello brother yes yes then
04:56we said
04:57the dorm uncle you're very close to the uh boys in mauritius not the film industry and stuff like
05:02that i think we wanted the airport or airstrip and stuff like that he's a heart okay we spoke to
05:09him on a tuesday wednesday night he has called up so hell and me and he said how bit of
05:14what all
05:15did you want from here that's it from where tom uncle he says from mauritius i'm sitting in mauritius
05:20i'm sitting with the government and i'm speaking to them so he flew to mauritius the next night
05:28to get this clear yeah they don't make them like that yeah no chance and i remember my dad salim
05:36sahab javed sahab together in my house i have memories and the fact that you know the relationship continues
05:43i think uh that generation they don't make like that and every time your father came home calm
05:49ho nahi i mean calm to thai nahi i think only dostana dostana ke baad kabhi kuchh kam nahi tha
05:54nahi
05:55so every time he came home he came home with an alcohol bottle from my father yeah yeah that was
06:01him
06:01and i remember that when i came uh to the set to narrate it was you were shooting for jab
06:07pyaar kisi se
06:08hota hai and i arrived at 2 pm you said 2 to 10 ka shift and then at 9 o
06:13'clock you said come home
06:14and narrate the film to me and you you had salman just for everyone to know this salman stayed like
06:20the family stayed together there was arbaas suhail salman uh salmanti salim sahab everyone and you had
06:26the tiniest room and you had one closet one cupboard one bed and i was shocked because i'm like yes
06:32and i've entered and you sat then you removed all your clothes and you were in yellow shorts
06:38so i said he should not think i'm looking at him in any other way so i started narrating but
06:43you
06:43know that room i never stayed there alone yeah i stayed there with somebody uh jisko me
06:49na kabhi dekha hai nahi sif suna hai sif mahusus ki aai picheh who so every time i came out
06:58the lights
06:59used to go on and off what yeah the cupboards used to open up the music used to come on
07:05then the bathroom
07:06i could feel somebody outside you know fidgeting with the cupboards and just open it and then i
07:10figured out that there's somebody there something there you felt it was like haunted yeah yeah no
07:15no i mean there was a presence felt there by me and then so every time i put on some
07:21music and i could
07:22feel it right behind me and i would say that kya music suna pasan kare hai what kind of music
07:28and i
07:28said just press any button i have to walk out what so there was a billiard table outside yeah earlier
07:34yeah yeah when we used to play billiards we could hear you know somebody inside
07:42it didn't do anything so my only request was that if you're really really beautiful woman then you
07:49show yourself to me
07:52but i narrated the first half of the film staring at another wall and you heard me you were hearing
07:58me
07:58very intensely and then you got up at interval and you said okay i'm doing the film so i said
08:05uh
08:06and i got stressed because i had only narrated sharuk's part there was no you hadn't arrived
08:11so i said but talman your part hasn't yet come but you know current even before uh you had come
08:18to
08:18narrate it to me yeah no matter how bad it was i had to confirm i had to decide my
08:22mind no matter how
08:23bad it is i'm going to do it that was a given i mean there was i know there was
08:27nothing you didn't
08:28even have to and you didn't have to do it there was no reason for you to do it no
08:32right this was
08:34the reason to do it because dad your dad your mom my mom alvira and you guys and so and
08:42yeah you see
08:43you got up and you said uh what are you going to pay me so i said that's another thing
08:50and you said
08:50i'm not going to pay anything even then it was done it's for tom uncle and his son
08:55yeah i don't i don't even want money for guest appearance because i had already done so many
08:59guest appearances without any money so this was not really a guest this was 12 days of work yeah
09:03but i've done 22 days of guest appearance so let's forget that and you arrived and then you
09:09walked outside and you hadn't heard the second half and there were a bunch of filmmakers sitting
09:13for their next meetings with you and you walked outside and you said what a second half he's written
09:18and you hadn't heard the second half and i was like i was so flummoxed
09:21because i'd never experienced something like this and then the funniest thing happened we were
09:26sure we started the schedule with saajan ji gharai and you were doing a double shift in those days
09:31yeah you were shooting for hamdul dejo kisanam a bb number one and for kuch kuch okay they were all
09:36simultaneous you were shooting the patang wala gana yeah and every day you would tell me and this is
09:41really funny every day you would tell me what a song sanjay leela mansali shooting what a song so i
09:47was like
09:47anyway anyway it was my first film and i was getting very because when i was shooting with
09:52sharuk he was telling me about dil se and you were telling me about humdul so i was shooting the
09:58patang wala gana shooting bb number one hey bb number and then i was shooting this one as well
10:05so when i used to go to sanjay said i just said what a song karan is shooting yeah
10:14and the funniest thing is one day sanjay mansali came on my set looking up and down like that and
10:18i'm thinking and sanjay mansali came on the set he's like you know salman told me you're shooting
10:26an outstanding song i said but he's telling me you're shooting an outstanding song so it was
10:31really quite hilarious to see mansali walk in check out my set while i really wanted to go and check
10:36out
10:36his patang wala song and you were you were just person and you were just like it was and your
10:43dp and
10:43your dp your you know and then the funniest thing happened he shot the whole song in high speed no
10:48he
10:48shot one you were going to catch a flight for jab pyaar kisi se hota it was a big outdo
10:55and it was our
10:56last shoot on set and climax and this is the end of the film where there's sharuk there's salman khan
11:03there's rani mukharji as a ghost there's kajal there's reema laguji there's anupam there's a
11:09farida jalal combination and we shot an entire day in slow motion because the cameraman forgot to put
11:16the lever up to 24 those days there we couldn't tell i run to your house in the middle of
11:20the night and
11:21you're all ready to go to switzerland and i meet you and i said salman please stay back one more
11:26day
11:26we have shot an entire day in slow motion in 48 frames and you laughed and you said i'll see
11:32you
11:32tomorrow and you arrived and we shot the whole day again and every time you would face the camera you
11:38would look at dvp and say 48 frames you would say 48 frames and like you know when i look
11:45at those days
11:46salman like everybody who had a certain togetherness a certain kind of camaraderie a certain fraternity
11:52feeling abhi wo nahi ra i mean god today actors are dealing with publicists and pr but depends on who
11:59depends on who actors you're talking about with us is still the same yeah with us is still the same
12:04nothing has changed even uh when the pr tells us that this is what i say you just come into
12:10the
12:11industry we've been here since you know decades so now don't tell us what to do yeah but what you've
12:18gone on record and spoken about trolling and spoken about the paparazzi culture and how they shoot
12:23images from certain angles and you've been very vocal about it salman and thank god for that because
12:28there's so much that is not right with what's going on it's just getting out of hand there's some people
12:36pay the pr for their sighting or what are they called sighting it's called sighting no airport loop
12:42whatever all that so and people there's some people who want to do that stuff i was not
12:47speaking about those kind of people yeah i was speaking for those people who don't want it
12:52yeah and they're really bad angles yeah and you know you know girls are uncomfortable
12:58just saying your phone bana hai na or phone may camera just ne bana ya hai haa
13:04worker kai mujhe mil ga na sam sabki zindagi hai barbaad kare every guy who has a phone has a
13:11camera
13:12attached to it yeah and it this always used to bother me guess who guess who maktab kahan se guess
13:18karei hai so
13:18because they showed the back yeah i mean that's ridiculous is that a way of guessing anybody yeah it's a
13:24also i think uh what's amazing to know this particular year we've seen akshay give two solid
13:32successes we've seen ajay give drishyam we have two massive movies coming from your end we have
13:39sharuk ending the year with king it's almost like this order of illustrious gentlemen akshay ajay salman
13:47khan amir khan sharuk khan just holding forth today the biggest successes are still coming from
13:53all of you what do you have to say about is the other generation not matching up or are you
13:59just not allowing them to we're interested in our work yeah we want to get out of our houses we
14:05want
14:06to go on to the sets and we want to do good work sometimes it turns out right sometimes does
14:12not but
14:13the films that we make are the films that every hindustani would be comfortable to see with the
14:21whole family that is one of the main reasons and because we're interested in our work yeah you
14:26know most of the film sometimes like i see a vision you know that this is the way this film
14:31is going to
14:32turn out but the director doesn't see it like that yeah that is when the the thoda word garbar happens
14:39when i mentioned amir just now an interesting line that came up when i was reading all the interviews in
14:44my research amir said i'm going to tie salman's hand and feet and get him married and then you said
14:51much after that said that i'm going to tie his hand and feet and make sure he never gets married
14:55again
14:56but he's married now for the third time you're still not i'm happy for him yes happy for him yeah
15:01and you yeah me what about me i'm doing fine you're fine um are you still a virgin
15:09yeah that was a way of saying uh current that i don't want to talk about it that was the
15:13way of
15:14saying it because you keep on saying that you're dating so and so and so and so and so you
15:18don't
15:18want to then yeah i never want to talk about because you know you know you never know that this
15:23is the
15:23person who's going to be in your life for the rest of your life and that person goes ahead and
15:28gets
15:29married somebody else you know so i i've always had this in the time i was um 15 16 years
15:35of age i've seen
15:36from my father my father that you're a person like bedroom bedroom head living room puri country
15:42hain joe up living room mein bol sakte ho wo puri country a ball of your bedroom ka hai living
15:47room
15:47tak nahi anha chahiye but does it feel like salman ke salman khan itna bada phenomena hai wo sabka
15:53so you have a family you have yeah i would put like i know i'm lonely because i don't have
16:00a partner
16:00you know but you you have kids you have a mother yeah you know so i mean you are fortunate
16:07i i'm
16:07lonely is when nobody wants to be with you karan i don't think that people don't want to be with
16:14you
16:14do you miss having children of your own no of course i will have children at some given point of
16:18time
16:18you will yes of course i will have to because that was a big blessing for me yeah i feel
16:23that's the most
16:24amazing thing and i was really happy for you when you did that yeah yeah yeah and so you can
16:28never say
16:29that i'm alone you have two beautiful kids and then they will grow up and they will have girlfriend
16:34and uh boyfriend that will get married and settle down they will have children you'll be uh grandpa
16:40karan no but i just feel like we've seen our parents in marriages and who've been partners to
16:46each other sometimes i just feel like nobody stopped you from that karan yeah somehow sometimes
16:51don't you stop me either it's just that you stopped yourself and i have stopped myself yes that's true
16:56so you cannot be complaining that i wanted this and the whole world went against me and that is the
17:03reason why i could not uh be with a a partner i can't blame anyone it's my decision and i
17:09i'm happy
17:10with that decision but yes kids will come in saman you have amassed uh the most incredible love within
17:19the industry people who have come in contact with you uh and the lives that you've touched in the
17:25journey has been beyond what words can describe i have some people who'd like to say something about
17:31you to you let's have a look if i were to describe salman khan in one word it would be
17:56like family all of us i mean the bond you shared with my papa was just so amazing you know
18:03he loved
18:03you like his son and uh yes there's so much so many similarities between you and him he always said
18:12that bhaijan and me you know we are the bad boys of the industry for me he's my biggest inspiration
18:18to
18:19be an actor to be a better son to be fitter he's an industry man when the going gets tough
18:24salman khan
18:25gets going uh he stands for people you know when they needed the most he's there we were shooting for
18:31dust and uh this uh we were rigged onto a helicopter and the helicopter was supposed to fly and go
18:38down into the water and it was a reverse shot you know so i was hanging out he was hanging
18:42half out i
18:43was out so i started feeling my rage so i started shouting i held his leg so tight
18:55you know i felt i'd fall you know and it was uh it's hilarious i still remember the night when
19:00we had gone in 2000 for shows and uh i was something happened and you got upset with me and
19:07i walked off
19:08and then you came chasing behind me and you sat with me and we sat on the pavement and we
19:13chatted for so
19:13long and you were so warm and nice and loving i still remember that his contribution to my dad's career
19:22it's paramount and the biggest thing he gave my dad was love and uh my when i got successful he
19:27was
19:27the first one to call the first one to stand when i was nothing and in maithi rahirovi came and
19:32dubbed
19:32out of nowhere he loves kids himself you know you know we want them to be settled
19:50they can never be a someone like you salman you're just amazing and thank you for everything you've
19:57done not just for me but for so many many people around we love you the dhawans love you bhai
20:02and i'll
20:03always be proud of you and i love you dil se always and jabi bi zindegi mein kuch bhi ho
20:10ek bada bhai khada
20:11always always what does it make you feel so i'll tell you this doesn't come from us i mean this
20:19has
20:19come from my father and my mother so i remember that there was um a time when dad was struggling
20:26and he
20:26just left everything in indor sab chowd chad ke a gaye tha and he's working for 750 rupees and then
20:33so then one friend of his came and there was like a when they were in indor they used to
20:38have this
20:38eating competition and there was no food at home to mammy ne jo bhi tha wo bana ya phir wo
20:44shorway
20:45mein aur paani dal dia and he kept on eating eating eating eating eating and eventually it's
20:51one thing and i think sohel was about six months old so so i mean even at that given point
21:07in time
21:09they were still giving away in their limits at that when we didn't have much you know and we
21:15learned that from our neighbors as well from mr godino mrs godino our tea used to be there
21:20because there was no money at that point in time.
21:24But that dad's hand has always been like this.
21:28And so has mom's.
21:30Recently, we spoke about it.
21:32You went on Big Boss and created the most viral moment
21:35where you removed your shirt and you were making a statement.
21:37It's not that you were showing yourself off.
21:40You were making a statement in anger and not in protest,
21:44but you were making a statement.
21:45Frustration.
21:46A point.
21:48No.
21:49There was anger.
21:50It was anger.
21:51I know it was anger.
21:52You felt it.
21:53Frustration, anger.
21:54It was, yeah, I mean.
21:56But what struck me is I remember passing a signal
22:01and watching in 1988
22:04because I had just given my board exam
22:07and the film was Mene Pyaar Kya.
22:09And I passed the Maheem Junction
22:12and I saw this poster of a leading man
22:15and a leading actress who were new
22:17and they were coming in a Suraj Barjatya film
22:20who was Rachi films.
22:21That was it.
22:21And what realized here
22:22that there was a shirtless revolution that began
22:25that almost can track your career.
22:28Because it began here
22:29and then it went on to Oh Oh Jana Jana
22:32which was like defined the gym culture of our times.
22:36Then you do this in Wanted after many, many years
22:38and you create this culture.
22:40That goes on to Dabang
22:42and that goes into the most unusual take
22:46on a shirtless image
22:47which is in Sultan
22:48where you had no holding back
22:50on showing this body
22:52which you did with Abandon
22:53as an artist and actor.
22:55And that goes straight into this clip
22:57that went viral to every possible...
23:01and told my brother
23:01and told him to do it.
23:03Tell him to do it.
23:04Tell him to do it.
23:05I gave him a little bit of a deal.
23:06He is so annoyed.
23:07He is so annoyed.
23:08Help!
23:14How do you look like this at 61?
23:15A lot of hard work.
23:17A lot of sacrifices.
23:19And he has improved a little bit
23:20and he has reduced all the bad things.
23:23for the people who've been diehard fans of you know the shirtless me okay that there was a phase
23:30in my life right now because of a lot of injuries and stuff like that yeah you know it was
23:35unfair
23:35on them no matter how old you are it is unfair on them to see me like that okay I
23:42had roots
23:42broken and then some hernia when you had some stuff here and a shoulder messed up and this
23:48all came in from Sultan on yeah knee and back and then the tragedy and the aneurysm and but
23:56there is not any justification for how I was looking then you know so there is that that thing
24:04that I shouldn't have let go for that time no matter what my struggle is you know with my own
24:10physicality I shouldn't have let go with that because there are a lot of people who get inspired
24:15you know by me the older generation the younger generation you know people who have grown up in
24:22me and they've got kids and they see me like this at the age of 60 so they said dad
24:27if he's looking
24:28like this you know why can't you look like that and then there are some people that I see who
24:33are
24:3310 times fitter than I am so I look at them I get inspired by them and I go to
24:37the gym but this was
24:39not this taking the shirt off was not that they're trolling me yeah they're trolling several
24:44mojo koi farak nebata hai hai how do they know what I am going to do next no they don't
24:49know so I will
24:50take that energy and I'll convert it into positivity for me and the ones who give me the positive one
24:57I will make sure that when they see me next time they will see me better than the last time
25:03no but it's
25:03incredible so I have a confession to make I was a Salman Khan fan not because he looked gorgeous
25:08shirtless but also because there was an incredible aura that you emanated it's it's majestic there's
25:14nothing that you can do it has been great yeah been very kind Karan aap hume coffee with Karan
25:20pe blate ho or coffee nini bilate ho ya hai aap peere ho coffee kaan peere hoon tundi ho gari

26:20my favorite Salman
26:21Khan Oh shall we go damn it you think you are an average actor I think I'm below average I
26:31have seen Salman doing some very good work and I always felt
26:34why doesn't this actor get his due which actor or actress can cry the drop of a hat Salman yeah
26:40like that like
26:41that he's joking he's laughing and suddenly it's action and boom tears can come out your ring takes
26:47Bhai would always, in the evening, go out and he would always chill.
26:50He was really good to all the kids.
26:52I had gone to Filmistan, so I had gotten out of the car,
26:55I was heading into the studio and from across the thing he was sitting outside his van.
26:57Imran, come here.
26:58Have you eaten food?
26:59Sit.
26:59He sat me down, put a plate in front of me.
27:01Suddenly these huge dishes of food are brought out.
27:03And he sits over me like this.
27:04And as I'm eating, he keeps serving me.
27:06So the more I eat, the more food there is on my plate.
27:08And he wouldn't let me go until I finished it all.
27:09Three things no one knows about you.
27:11I'm a great guy, great guy, great guy.
27:14And you're good in bed or something like that.
27:17Who in the industry, according to you, could never win?
27:20How do you feel when you see yourself saying all these things?
27:22No, I'm so awkward.
27:23Salman Khan.
27:25Who's the last person you would go to for relationship advice?
27:27Salman Khan.
27:28How are you married?
27:29No, no, no, no.
27:32You can't.
27:37Who's more entertaining?
27:38Off screen.
27:41Who looks best shirtless?
27:43Salman.
27:44I forget my lines when he looks into my eyes.
27:47Salman.
27:47Dude, he's something else.
27:49Yeah, kind of.
27:50You woke up one morning and realized that you had turned into Salman Khan, you would?
27:54I would be really happy.
27:55He fears nothing.
27:56And I think, I really honestly think everyone in life wants to be fearless.
28:00The best and worst part of being Salman Khan?
28:02You're in trouble all the time.
28:04Is the worst part?
28:05No.
28:06That's a good part.
28:07Not being able to get out of it is a problem.
28:09The first word that comes to your mind when I say Salman Khan.
28:12Dabang.
28:13A recent film that you wish was yours.
28:15Dabang.
28:17I'll give you some one.
28:18I'll give you some one.
28:18I'll give you some one.
28:19I'll give you some one.
28:19The name of the dog in Hamaapkeh Khan?
28:24Tafi.
28:25Tafi.
28:26Oh!
28:27The last time you came and you made that one line so famous where you said you were a virgin
28:31on national television.
28:32Nothing has changed.
28:33You're still a virgin.
28:34Nothing has changed.
28:34I cannot ask you, like you were good in bed, like how have I gotten away with this
28:39and why didn't you slap me?
28:40Yeah, when I see my stuff also, when I've said some things earlier like the virgin thing,
28:45even I cringe.
28:46But that's fine.
28:46That was then.
28:47Move on.
28:48Don't carry your past with you.
28:50Live in the future.
28:51Don't live in the future.
28:52Live in the present.
28:54Make your present.
28:55Your future is sorted.
28:55When I see these excerpts Salman, you seem so different and so much more like,
29:01what is the word?
29:02More Zen-like.
29:03More like composed.
29:04Like a life lived.
29:06You mean less energy?
29:07No, not less energy.
29:08I don't mean that.
29:09I mean a lot more, just a lot more composed.
29:13And yet…
29:13See, the thing is that all the advises that I've given, quite serious advises,
29:19there has come a time for me to follow my own advises.
29:24And you feel this is the time?
29:26So you give advises and then you realise that,
29:28I've told you this, why didn't I do this?
29:31I've given advice.
29:33So I've always done, if I've given, said something and given advice,
29:38I make sure that I follow that as well.
29:41Well, my advice is that when we do the next round, which is the rapid fire round,
29:48that we actually do something different with it this time.
29:51Sure. Anything.
29:52I've done it once before, only with Aamir, and I'm doing it again on the last season,
29:57where I compete with my guest for the rapid fire round.
30:01Oh, lovely.
30:01And we…
30:02Here's the hand.
30:04You'll have to fight with Aamir.
30:06Why will I fight with Aamir?
30:08Aamir, why will I fight with Aamir?
30:09Aamir, why will I fight with Aamir?
30:09Who will I fight with Aamir?
30:11Aamir, I'll fight with Aamir.
30:12Aamir…
30:14Aamir…
30:15But Aamir will be a Aamir…
30:19No one can make me happier if you have kids on your own.
30:23We need, like Sanju Baba said, we need many more chota sarmaans in this world.
30:27So, we have a special someone who is very dear to you, very dear to me,
30:33but very dear to you because not only have you worked with her in nearly nine movies
30:38and then some others in smaller parts, but she's somebody who…
30:42No, seriously?
30:43Yes.
30:44No way.
30:45No way, Mini.
30:46I don't know who you're expecting.
30:47I know who you're talking about.
30:49You know who I'm talking about?
30:50I mean, if you give it away like this, nine and thirteen movies, I'll tell you.
30:54Thirteen movies?
30:54Yeah, I think so, around thirteen movies.
30:56And she's been very kind to come to do this.
30:58She will conduct the rapid-fire round.
31:01Oh, she's so much of fun.
31:02I love her.
31:03That will be between you and me.
31:05And the energy that you're talking about, no?
31:08With her, it's not changed at all.
31:09She's still the same.
31:11How you guessed who she was?
31:12I know who you're talking about, Karan.
31:14Okay, still I want it to be a surprise for the people who may not have guessed.
31:18Please, let's welcome her with all love in our hearts.
31:22Come on, Lolo!
31:24My God!
31:27Hello!
31:29Hi!
31:37Guys, I'm only here because you two are my favourite people.
31:42You don't have to include one.
31:43He knows that, he knows that.
31:44You don't have to include one.
31:45You don't want to be here for Shah Rukh or for Aamira.
31:47Oh, nothing like that.
31:48No, no.
31:49Same line you used then also, no?
31:51Okay.
31:52No, no.
31:54This is…
31:54Naughty boy always.
31:56Naughty boy, has he always been?
31:57Yes.
31:57Always, always.
32:00Listen…
32:01How many films, Lolo?
32:02We're back.
32:02Eleven, they were just telling you.
32:04Eleven films.
32:05Eleven movies.
32:05Eleven movies.
32:06My God.
32:07So that whole chunk, Karan, was from one set to another, to another, to another, to another,
32:12to another.
32:13It's just Lolo and me.
32:14Yeah.
32:15You all have done double shifts on the same day in two different movies?
32:17Meaning, we have done double shifts and after that we've gone and performed on shows.
32:22Yeah.
32:22After two shows?
32:24Yes.
32:24Film city, somewhere else and then we went to Thane, remember?
32:29After that to do a show?
32:30Yes.
32:30Like our bag used to be packed and we would just go, spend days and days and days together,
32:35working really hard.
32:36And she said something interesting to me when I asked her.
32:38She said, you know, when people say that two people in the industry are close, there's
32:42always something, but this is, she's saying, I can proudly say this is one platonic friendship.
32:46She's lying.
32:47Yes.
32:47What?
32:48Oh my God!
32:49What is he saying?
32:51This is what he does.
32:53This is what he's done.
32:54She's lying.
32:56The longest living affair.
33:00You're just giving them a lot of content.
33:03No, that's great.
33:04She left me and got married.
33:04We love it.
33:05I was so heartbroken.
33:07Were you really heartbroken?
33:09See, this is what he does to me.
33:11This, this, this.
33:12She also told me something fun.
33:14Where she said that you really pulled her leg one day and told her that convinced her
33:18that BV number one.
33:20Say it, say it.
33:20So I first, firstly, I want to tell you how we became friends.
33:25Ha, tell me.
33:25The lifelong bond.
33:26I mean, it's been 36 years.
33:281990.
33:30Okay.
33:30I had PR released in 89.
33:32Yeah.
33:32Craze, craze of the nation.
33:34And I was like 16.
33:36Practicing and learning at Saroj Khan's dance class in Satyam Hall.
33:39That's what I said.
33:40And Salman Khan was there.
33:41Yeah.
33:41Rehearsing, I think, for some song in Baagi.
33:44Yeah.
33:44And I was dying to get a glimpse of him.
33:45The Jai Marade, yeah.
33:46Yeah.
33:47The Jai Marade.
33:48And then one day I was exiting and there Salman was sitting down in his purple pants
33:55that later became a craze, but he was wearing it way back then, you know, white gunji.
33:59And I froze and he's like, hey, you're Dubu uncle's daughter, na?
34:04Yeah.
34:04And I was like, oh, my God, this is Salman Khan asking me.
34:06And that time, Salim uncle and papa were very good friends.
34:09Yeah.
34:10Yeah, they should drink together.
34:11He was like, I've been watching you.
34:12You've been doing a good job, working very hard, and he gave me a chocolate bar.
34:17Yeah.
34:17Ever since then, that bond has been forever.
34:20He gave you a chocolate bar?
34:20Yes.
34:21He was eating a chocolate.
34:22I don't think anybody knows that Salman has a sweet tooth like me.
34:25He loves eating chocolate.
34:26Oh, my God.
34:27And then...
34:28He gave me that.
34:29Oh, my God.
34:29Remember in the middle of the night, our shootings and all, how that one, somebody else and only chocolates.
34:35Only both of us.
34:36And in Switzerland, in the bus, in the freezing cold, everybody used to be eating breakfast and whatever.
34:42And SK used to have this big packet full of chocolates.
34:47His breakfast used to be chocolates.
34:49What?
34:49We have worked in our songs and all in Switzerland.
34:52He used to eat chocolate for breakfast.
34:54We used to fight a lot also.
34:57Why?
34:58So, during Dullanam Layayenge, the iconic outfit.
35:01Yeah, yeah.
35:02Very excited with my fashion and, you know, this and that and all to kill it.
35:06He's like, what are you wearing?
35:09I'm like, what?
35:11I mean, I've worked so hard on this outfit.
35:13What do you mean?
35:14No.
35:14I'll not give this shot with you looking like this.
35:16Yes.
35:17And I had to go and complain to David Ji that SK is not letting me wear this outfit.
35:22Please tell him.
35:23Why?
35:23Because it was overtly sexy.
35:24Yeah.
35:25I mean, he thought it was too open and too clingy.
35:27No, no, no.
35:28It's clingy and all that's okay.
35:29So, what had happened.
35:31He was not liking that.
35:32No, no, no.
35:32Here, it was just here.
35:35It was just here.
35:35It was just here.
35:36Stop it.
35:36Not rubbish.
35:37It was just here.
35:38So, I used to keep on asking you to get it down before every take.
35:42This was all sheer type of transparent.
35:44Yeah, it was sheer.
35:44It was just here.
35:45But it was just here.
35:46But it was just here.
35:47Stop it.
35:48Don't talk rubbish.
35:50So, that is why I used to keep on.
35:51I said, pull it down every shot.
35:54Then the hairdresser.
35:54Yeah, yeah.
35:55He used to be very protective.
35:56He used to be very protective.
35:56He used to make sure that and that whole thing was all that.
35:59He was like, go and change this.
36:01I don't like this outfit.
36:03So, he used to fight a lot.
36:05But it was iconic.
36:05You look so hot.
36:07Yeah.
36:07And how did he pull your leg on BV number one?
36:09Oh, my God.
36:10So, obviously, firstly, throughout, he would tease me.
36:13I'd be like, Salman, give me one more take now.
36:16Why?
36:16You want to be number one?
36:18You want to be top hero?
36:19And I was like, yes, please, please.
36:21He'd be like, okay, one more.
36:23Okay, he would tease me to give me one more.
36:25Then, you know, working so hard, all of us, finally,
36:29David Ji gave me this title role, BV number one,
36:31and Salman was nice enough to, you know,
36:34be part of that big film and everything.
36:36And we were shooting for Oh, Mr. Raja, that song,
36:40in Dulanam Le Jai, in Switzerland.
36:41In Dulanam Le Jai.
36:42And that time, BV number one released
36:44with the World Cup cricket match.
36:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
36:47So, you're busy with the song and on the knees,
36:49like in the break.
36:50Come here.
36:51Come and sit down.
36:53I was like, yeah, what happened?
36:54Are you okay, right?
36:55I need to tell you something.
36:56Because, you know, BV number one's released today,
37:00and...
37:00opening only.
37:02And there, from there onwards, I was crying.
37:06Like this.
37:07Like this.
37:07And he's going on and on.
37:08I understand how you feel.
37:10And he made David Ji and Rumi Jafri,
37:12who's the writer of the film,
37:13also do this acting.
37:14I was like, oh, my God, look at them.
37:16Crying and suddenly he starts laughing.
37:18Oh, my God, it's become a blockbuster.
37:20I was like, what the hell?
37:22How could you do this to me?
37:24He was pulling your leg.
37:24I mean, he was pulling my leg.
37:26No, but Lola was amazing.
37:29Amazing.
37:30The most hardworking actor that I have ever seen is her.
37:35Yeah, that she is.
37:36That she is.
37:36And hair, makeup, in like five minutes, she's out.
37:41Dress change means that she goes out, back on set.
37:44And earlier, we never used to have those vans or those, you know,
37:48those make-up rooms and stuff.
37:50Hey, where we used to have the camera camera.
37:54Yeah.
37:54Patas and chadars we used to change.
37:56Chadar and change.
37:57I remember in Switzerland, I remember,
37:59because my assistant days were on Dilwale Dolania.
38:02We used to all be in that bus.
38:04Yeah.
38:04Triton.
38:07Triton was the main guy there.
38:08We went in the bus and stopped.
38:10Like Yash Ji used to say,
38:12we used to help this location.
38:13We used to get off and shoot.
38:15Yeah, we worked like that.
38:15We used to get off and shoot.
38:15And like there was no such thing like
38:17someone has wrecked or scouted.
38:19Nothing, anything.
38:19The bus was even stopped,
38:20and we used to stop, shoot,
38:23and go back into that bus.
38:24One day, one day.
38:24And I remember the loo.
38:26The loo was the biggest problem
38:27because Triton used to not allow you to use that bathroom.
38:30So we were all going behind trees.
38:32It was like a crazy time.
38:33Today when I think of the entourage
38:35that there was no one else had.
38:38Even I am telling you,
38:39And the work was better.
38:42The songs were better.
38:43Everything was better.
38:44People were more beautiful.
38:47And those songs were just done.
38:48Made on instinct and just feel.
38:51We just go and shoot.
38:52And he used to give me that one more.
38:54For me. For you.
38:55But has he given you any specific relationship and love advice that you followed?
39:01Bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo.
39:03Um, yes.
39:05So have I given him but both of us didn't listen.
39:08And what about you?
39:09Has she given you relationship advice?
39:11Yeah, she never liked anyone.
39:13What? Listen, this is rubbish.
39:16Take that back.
39:17Take that back right now.
39:19Take it back.
39:20Again, again, loudly.
39:21Okay, I take it back.
39:25Who did not like that?
39:26That's rubbish.
39:27But that point of time, that point of time.
39:29Oh my God, listen.
39:32He's just getting me into some rubbish.
39:35You just shut up.
39:37I have given him very good advice.
39:40I have given him lots of good advice which he has absolutely not listened to.
39:44But yes, but she has.
39:45She has, she has.
39:46She has, she has.
39:47So she's been there in times of duress and times of celebration both.
39:51Yes, I think both of us.
39:52So what is the thought that comes to your mind when I say Lolo to you?
39:55What is the first word that comes to your mind?
39:58Yeah, see?
40:00Yeah.
40:00Bro code.
40:01Bro code.
40:02Yeah.
40:02So there's, there's love in your heart for you.
40:04You'll always.
40:04Has always been there.
40:05Yeah.
40:05Which is why I so wanted Lolo to come to conduct a rare rapid fire round.
40:11I'm too excited for this.
40:12Yes.
40:13That where you read out the rapid fire questions first to Salman then to me and then you decide
40:17the winner.
40:18Absolutely.
40:18Are you ready?
40:19Are you ready?
40:20I am ready.
40:21Are you ready?
40:21All right.
40:22So are you ready to come on the hot seat?
40:24Absolutely.
40:24All right.
40:25Before that, let's switch on the Jackowa lights for the rapid fire round.
40:29Nice.
40:31Wow.
40:32Amazing.
40:32The Buddhist head.
40:34The Buddhist head.
40:35Ma'am.
40:36Yes.
40:36The seat is all yours.
40:39Wow.
40:40We start with Salman.
40:42SK, are you ready?
40:43I'm ready.
40:43Oh my God.
40:45Name one actor apart from you who looks good without a shirt.
40:48Oh, there's so many of them.
40:50Okay.
40:50Name one.
40:51Shah Rukh right now is looking damn good without a shirt.
40:53Okay.
40:53Aamir looked very good.
40:54Still looking good.
40:55Okay.
40:55These are very diplomats.
40:56No, no, no.
40:56I'm telling everyone.
40:58Hrithik looks good.
40:59Tiger looks good.
41:00Ranbeed looks good.
41:02Ajay looks damn good.
41:03Sanjay looks good.
41:05So then Anil Kapoor is looking good only.
41:07So.
41:07There are three, four names left.
41:09Some names you left.
41:10No, but they're all looking good.
41:11I mean, they're all.
41:12They're looking good.
41:13Okay.
41:13Okay.
41:15Cool.
41:16Okay.
41:17Which film in your filmography are you proudest of?
41:20The, my first one.
41:22Yeah.
41:23Which was the most impactful performance?
41:26Ranveer in Dhurandar or Ranbir in Animal?
41:29Two different kind of performances.
41:31You cannot compare any of them.
41:33Again diplomatic answer.
41:34It's not diplomatic at all.
41:35Please choose one.
41:36They are fantastic actors.
41:38One has got tremendous amount of energy.
41:39One has got tremendous amount of intensity.
41:42Both have different styles of acting.
41:44So you cannot, cannot.
41:46And especially for Ranveer in Dhurandar.
41:49Had to control all his energy.
41:52All his, I mean, what he does.
41:55He does everything larger than life.
41:57And he had to control that big time.
42:00So for an actor, that's a huge amount of insecurity that he didn't have in the film.
42:06And he was very secure as an actor and in that role for Dhurandar.
42:10Okay.
42:11Well said.
42:12What's your biggest personal regret?
42:14I have none.
42:16One perhaps now that wish I had this kind of experience at that given point of time.
42:21Good answer.
42:23One word that comes...
42:24Which I don't believe in.
42:25I just...
42:28Okay.
42:29One word that comes to your mind for each.
42:32Shah Rukh Khan.
42:33Yeah.
42:34So many words.
42:34Brother.
42:35Brother.
42:36Aamir Khan.
42:37He is a brother.
42:38He is a brother.
42:39Second brother.
42:40Yes.
42:41Akshay Kumar.
42:42No, Akshay, I'll need to slightly...
42:46Akshay, you've worked with Akshay a lot.
42:48I've worked with Akshay a lot.
42:58He is the only one actor has grown.
43:03Grown means by leaps and bounds.
43:06And I see his work that he's doing right now.
43:08And I say,
43:09How are you doing this?
43:13He is something else right now.
43:15And the way he's looking.
43:17Ajay Devgani.
43:18Again, he's like a brother.
43:19He's a friend.
43:20And I don't think that anyone can beat Ajay in intense roles.
43:24And he manages comedy very well in that same format of...
43:30Like he can do a Drisham and a Golmar.
43:32Yeah, yeah.
43:33I mean, you can see any of Ajay Devgani's films.
43:35And you will not say,
43:36Yaar, yeh kya kiya hai.
43:37You know, like with us.
43:39Huh?
43:39You can say, yaar,
43:40You could have yeh kya zhada loud chale gai hai.
43:42Yeh buffoonri ho gai.
43:44Yeh kya bheo ki fikar di.
43:45You know,
43:47Incompetent work hai yeh.
43:48Ajay, you will not see that.
43:50True.
43:50Pick the film title that sums up your current love life.
43:55Mayne piyar kya kiya.
43:58Lucky, no time for love.
44:00Sanam bevafa.
44:01Hmm.
44:01Tum ko na bhool pahenge.
44:03Ya, tum ko na bhool pahenge.
44:04Toh is out ho nahi.
44:05Because, sab haray ko bhool jata hai.
44:08Uh, wapis se pahle chalo.
44:09Uparwala.
44:10Mayne piyar kya kiya.
44:11Dekho, yaar, piyar karna hai toh kyao bhi aata hai.
44:14Oh, baar baar aata hai.
44:16Toh, yeh thik hai.
44:17But, yeh.
44:17Lucky, no time for love.
44:18Lucky, no time for love.
44:20No, this doesn't go.
44:21Because, there has been enough time for love.
44:23And, um, there has been love and there will be time.
44:25Sanam bevafa.
44:26Yes, there will be time.
44:27Sanam bevafa.
44:28Ab, ab unke baar me baat nahi karna chahi.
44:30Yaaage chalo, ab.
44:32Tum ko na bhool pahenge.
44:33Tum ko na bhool pahenge.
44:34In me se kuchh nahi hai.
44:36Okay.
44:36Toh one which.
44:37There are the one.
44:38I just think, I'll just say.
44:39I'll go by with my first title.
44:42I have talked for myself.
44:44Mayne piyar kya.
44:45Yeah.
44:46Aha.
44:46Okay.
44:47Which co-star did you have the best on-screen chemistry with over the years?
44:53Ah.
44:54There have been so many, Lolo.
44:56But, nobody like you.
44:58Ah.
44:59Nobody.
44:59Not because you're here.
45:01No, I know that.
45:02Not because you're here.
45:02I was hoping you would say that.
45:04Yeah.
45:05Not because you're here.
45:06If you were not here.
45:07I think.
45:07If you're not here, I would have said the same thing.
45:10Because, the journey, the time that I spent with you has been phenomenal.
45:14So, there's also Madhuri where people have liked our chemistry.
45:17There's also three.
45:18I've done two films with her.
45:19There's lots of heroines that I've worked with.
45:21There's Katrina.
45:22There is Raveena.
45:24There's lots of.
45:24But, the time that I spent with you.
45:27Over 13 films.
45:28That 13 films, I mean almost 13, 14, 15 years.
45:33Yeah.
45:33Yeah.
45:34Yeah.
45:34Yeah.
45:35Yeah.
45:36If you could tap your card and have a once in a lifetime adventure.
45:41What would you do?
45:42I'd go to Panvel.
45:43We knew that would be the answer.
45:46Which Bollywood celebrity would you recommend for the Big Boss house and why?
45:49Sanjay Dutt.
45:50Because of life, life experiences.
45:52Yeah.
45:53And if Sanjay Dutt is interested.
45:55Is interested.
45:56Okay.
45:56And, I mean, we all know that Sanju is very okay.
46:00Baba is very okay with sharing his life story like I am.
46:03Everything is open book.
46:05So, if he does that.
46:06Okay.
46:07I don't think there is any host better than Sanjay Dutt for Big Boss.
46:10Yeah.
46:11What's the one thing that scares you in life?
46:15There's somebody pointing your finger at me.
46:17Okay.
46:18Okay.
46:18Correct.
46:19Who is the most.
46:20But see, ask why.
46:21I mean, there's somebody pointing your finger at me.
46:22Ask also why.
46:23Why are you giving answers?
46:25You answered very well.
46:27No.
46:27But, I mean, it's just that you promise and you didn't fulfill your promises.
46:32So, that is something that it scares me.
46:34So, till the time I am not 100% sure of that this is for good.
46:41I will not commit to it.
46:43Okay.
46:43Finish this.
46:44If I weren't an actor, I'd be.
46:47Who gives a damn?
46:49Name a celebrity you would give the following advice to.
46:53Neekhi kar, darya mein dal.
46:55To me.
46:56Okay.
46:57Take a chill pill.
46:58To all those actors, you know, who take this job very seriously.
47:02Kuch toh alag kar.
47:04This advice would be for, I mean, Kuch alag kar would be for all the people who are concentrating
47:09on social media and the PR and not on their craft.
47:13It would be for them.
47:14Also to them that nothing is hidden in the industry.
47:17It all comes out and everyone knows, will know it or already knows who's doing it.
47:21Yeah, yeah, yeah.
47:23If a biopic were made on your life, which of your directors would you pick to help it?
47:30Suraj Barjatya, Kabir Khan, Sanjay Leela Bansali, David Dhawan.
47:35Depending.
47:35If you want to make a comedy in my life, then David Dhawan.
47:39If you want to make a traditional tragic love story, it would be Sanjay Leela Bansali.
47:44If you want to make this beautiful love story after love story after love story,
47:51would be a Suraj Barjatya.
47:53And what else is there?
47:55Kabir Khan.
47:56Kabir Khan.
47:56If you want to make an action kind of love story.
47:59I mean, of all the things that are happening in my life, except for them.
48:03What is yours?
48:07Kabir Khan.
48:08And depending on which love story that they want to make.
48:11So we'll have to get into that as well.
48:15But a biopic in my life will never be made.
48:19My life will go to my grave.
48:21Yes.
48:23Whenever you decide to do your last film, which actress would you pick as your co-star?
48:28Karizma, Madhuri, Kareena or Katrina?
48:31Last film not happening yet, bro.
48:33Long time for that.
48:35Yeah.
48:36Not yet.
48:37Not yet.
48:37If your nephews Nirwan, Arhan or Ayaan came to you for relationship advice.
48:44Wrong person to come to.
48:45Okay, I won't finish the rest of the set.
48:47Oh, and I won't even say go to your father's.
48:50One thing you miss about set life in the 90s.
48:53See, my sets are still the same.
48:58Nothing has changed on my sets.
49:01I mean, we still work the same way.
49:03We still all get together.
49:05Even after pack up, you know, food on the set and Aram Aram's a short, nice, happy atmosphere.
49:13My set, nothing has changed.
49:16You guys worry about your sets.
49:17Yes.
49:18Okay.
49:20If Salman Khan came with a disclaimer, what would it say?
49:23What?
49:24If Salman Khan came with a disclaimer, what would it say?
49:29Oh, shit.
49:31I never thought that.
49:33Yeah, disclaimer.
49:35There's no claiming here.
49:36What?
49:37There's no claiming here.
49:39There's no claiming here is his disclaimer.
49:41Yeah.
49:41You were asked this in season four.
49:43Has there been an update?
49:45What's the best and worst thing about being Salman?
49:49The best thing about being Salman is Salman.
49:55And goes down to the worst thing about being Salman is also Salman.
50:02You know, Gabbar ko Gabbar he maarsakta hai.
50:07So, for me, this one Salman has to keep on telling the other Salman, nahi bhai, nahi, abhi nahi.
50:17It's kiriye time hai, wakta hai hao.
50:19It's kiriye control ya, brother control.
50:22Okay.
50:23Well done, SK.
50:25Well done.
50:27Woo.
50:27Kejo, are you ready?
50:29I'm ready.
50:30Lolo's gonna be asking some interesting questions.
50:32I love it.
50:33Rank the following in order of their best performances on Coffee with Karan.
50:37Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan.
50:44Salman Khan.
50:45Whoa.
50:46Okay.
50:46Salman, because he's here, is not on the list.
50:48Yes.
50:49So, I'm not going to give you an order.
50:50I'm going to say every time Shah Rukh has come, he's been amazing.
50:53Okay.
50:53So, I'm not giving you an order only.
50:55Shah Rukh Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
50:57Okay.
50:57Okay.
50:57Name one guest who sat on your couch and played too safe.
51:02Every one last season.
51:04Okay.
51:05One guest that came that you wish had played it safe.
51:09Hardik Pandya.
51:12Your all time favourite episode of Coffee with Karan.
51:15My all time favourite episode actually is Anushka and Katrina.
51:19Really?
51:20I love that episode.
51:21Now the truth Kejo, what's actually in your coffee?
51:25A diet cola.
51:27I don't drink black coffee.
51:28What would you do if you woke up in the morning as the following?
51:32Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Aditya Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan.
51:36If I woke up as Shah Rukh, I would call Karan and say, can you direct a film with Salman
51:42and me?
51:43If I woke up as Ranveer, I'd go back to a colourful wardrobe.
51:48If I woke up as Aditya Chopra, I'd give a press conference so that everybody knows he exists.
51:54If I woke up as Kareena, I would look into the mirror and say, who is he?
52:05If you woke up as Kareena, you'd go back to bed with Saif.
52:10That would be...
52:12Kareena I'm saying.
52:13But me?
52:14Yeah.
52:14Okay.
52:16Okay.
52:17Which of your friends is most likely to escape to a bathroom to avoid an awkward situation or conversation?
52:24My favourite.
52:26Barun Dhawan.
52:26Me also?
52:28No, you.
52:29Bless her.
52:29Barun would run.
52:30To avoid an awkward conversation.
52:32Okay.
52:33The one film from your filmography that you feel you want to remake?
52:37Kabhi Alwada Na Kehna.
52:39Okay.
52:40And I got a lecture from Salman about Kabhi Alwada Na Kehna in the lobby of a hotel in London.
52:46He fired me about making that film.
52:48I just thought you should change.
52:49Don't make that film.
52:51Yeah.
52:51Okay.
52:52What turns Karan Johar on?
52:55When he helps himself.
52:57Alia or Kareena?
52:59The better actor?
53:00Alia and I would both agree it's Kareena.
53:03Ranveer or Ranbir?
53:05The more versatile actor?
53:08You don't choose between brilliance.
53:11Okay.
53:12Coffee with Karan without the Khans is?
53:16Dal without tadka.
53:18What was one coffee with Karan moment that you felt received the most unwarranted trolling?
53:24The Ranveer Dipika episode.
53:26After the final season of Coffee with Karan airs, who would you hide from?
53:32And who would you seek out?
53:34Who would I hide from?
53:35I'll hide from Jio Hotstar because I'm ending the show.
53:39Who would I seek out?
53:40Nobody.
53:41I'm happy on my own now.
53:42I'm happy I've ended the show.
53:43This phase had to end.
53:45The one person who never came on the couch that you would have loved to have had.
53:49My biggest, deepest desire was to interview Shri Devi Ma'am.
53:54And I'm so sad that I wasn't able to direct her, produce a film with her or conduct a talk
54:01show with her.
54:01I'm her biggest fan for life.
54:03Me too.
54:04Three things you can say in the bedroom and on coffee with Karan.
54:09Turn the lights off.
54:11Rapid fire.
54:14And hey Karan, it's me.
54:17One director you believe is way stronger than you in your craft and execution.
54:24Sanjay Nila Mansali.
54:25An Instagram account you're obsessed with.
54:28Ravi Kishan's anything on the gram.
54:31I think he's the king of virality.
54:35Which words are you guilty of saying the most on the couch?
54:39Conjecture, nepotism, Alia Bhatt.
54:42The conjecture that I use the nepotism card on Alia Bhatt.
54:49The last time you said your naughty playlist includes classical music.
54:53Has there been an update?
54:55Hari Anvi music.
54:56I'm into it now.
54:59Try Bhojpuri as well.
55:00Bhojpuri.
55:02Okay, guys.
55:03It's done.
55:04Okay.
55:04Well done, Kejo.
55:07The hamper should go to her.
55:08No.
55:08Now, I think you both did really well.
55:12Honestly.
55:13But we have one winner.
55:15And the winner is Karanjo.
55:17The winner is?
55:19Karanjo.
55:20No, yeah.
55:21SK.
55:21No, you answered honestly.
55:22Just because I'm here as a guest on coffee.
55:24No, you answered honestly.
55:25You gave some explanation.
55:26Even though it was a rapid fire.
55:28I am telling you.
55:28Just because I'm here.
55:30Right?
55:30Okay.
55:30Let's get one thing straight.
55:32Let's get one thing straight.
55:33Straight being the operator word.
55:35When Salman Khan participates, he wins.
55:38There's no way I have the chops, the ability, the charm, or the natural flair to win anything next to
55:45you.
55:45So, I'm absolutely in agreement.
55:47Let me lift it for you.
55:48Correct.
55:49Let's go.
55:49And give Salman the hamper.
55:51Yes.
55:52Thank you, Lolo.
55:53I don't know how I can do it.
55:54My God.
55:55You don't have to do anything.
55:56My God, I'm so happy.
55:57Yay.
55:59No, but let me put it down for you.
56:01You've lifted enough weights to create this sensation of a body.
56:06Lolo, thank you.
56:07Please take a seat.
56:09Okay.
56:09This for me, I have to say, is an emotional moment.
56:13And I'm going to take a quick beat to say why.
56:16For me, I have known Lolo from like the time immemorial.
56:21Like literally.
56:22And for me to share.
56:23From school days.
56:24The first episode of the last season of Coffee with Karan with you is very special.
56:30So, thank you for doing this.
56:31Conducting the Coffee with Karan rapid fire round.
56:34It means the world to me.
56:36Me too.
56:36Salman, I cannot thank you enough.
56:38I called you and I said, I'm signing off.
56:41I'm never doing this again.
56:43And all you did was laugh on the phone.
56:45I still don't know why you laughed.
56:46Where your laugh was like,
56:47Ye vaapas saayega ya laaf ke
56:50Ye vaapas saayega.
56:51Ye vaapas saayega.
56:52Ye vaapas saayega.
56:53Mein vaapas nahi aunga.
56:55Mera ho gaya.
56:56But I couldn't think of a better.
56:58Karan, tusshi naa jau.
57:00Gaara hon.
57:01Gaara hon.
57:02You have any thoughts of me ending this show forever?
57:04No, I think you should continue with this show.
57:06No, I'm not.
57:07Yeah, just make it larger and bigger and better.
57:09That's it.
57:09No, no, I don't.
57:11You are too kind and gracious.
57:13You did my first film.
57:14You've done my last season.
57:17I'm weirdly like emotional about ending this show.
57:20I don't know why.
57:21I'm just like...
57:22It feels so weird and wonderful all at the same time
57:26that I'm ending the show and I'm beginning with Salman
57:29and have you as such a large part of this episode
57:32means the world to me, Lolo.
57:33You know what you mean to me.
57:35And Salman, thank you.
57:36I love you.
57:36I don't say it because I'm awkward and shy
57:39and I'm scared of you a little bit.
57:41A lot, actually.
57:42But I want to tell you how grateful I am.
57:44Thank you, Kurt.
57:45And for being who you are.
57:47It's now time for the Born Will Unwind moment.
57:50Let's savor this moment and sign your coffee mugs.
57:53Lolo, please sign the cup right next to you.
57:55Yes, of course.
57:55And we will walk to the coffee wall of fame.
58:03God bless you.
58:04And good night.
58:05And let's go to the coffee wall of fame.
