00:00:01For centuries, mankind believed that life only existed here on earth.
00:00:07But today, many scientists agree that we are not alone.
00:00:13Practically every human civilization that has ever existed tells us we are not alone
00:00:21in the cosmos.
00:00:24A long, long time ago, extraterrestrials came here, and through a targeted mutation of
00:00:32our genes, we became human.
00:00:36We have, in theory, a worldwide civilization that has extraterrestrials interacting with
00:00:43it, and human beings as we are today, who are possibly the genetic breeding of these
00:00:51aliens.
00:00:52If we are being visited, they have probably always been here.
00:00:58Millions of people around the world believe we have been visited in the past by extraterrestrial
00:01:03beings.
00:01:05But what if it were true?
00:01:07Did ancient aliens really help to shape our history?
00:01:12And if so, why did they come here?
00:01:15And just what was their mission?
00:01:20And just what was their mission?
00:02:10They've got the flag up now, and you can see the stars and stripes on the limit.
00:02:16It was the first time in history that beings left their home and traveled through space to an
00:02:23alien planet.
00:02:24Or was it?
00:02:26Were we really the first creatures in the universe capable of traveling to another world?
00:02:36Given the vastness of the universe and the billions of years that it took to create our galaxy, is it
00:02:43so
00:02:44hard to imagine that such a thing might have happened before?
00:02:48Before?
00:02:49Perhaps thousands of times, and over the course of millions of years.
00:02:55The ancient alien astronaut theory presupposes that thousands and thousands of years ago, even
00:03:05before recorded history, Earth was visited by astronauts from another world.
00:03:12But if alien beings did in fact travel to Earth, why?
00:03:18Did they come to explore, to plunder, to study, to hunt, or to breed?
00:03:28When Armstrong and Aldrin explored their incredible surroundings, they found the moon a barren landscape.
00:03:35It seemed to offer little more than a lifeless oasis of rocks and dust.
00:03:43But in 1986, further testing determined that the lunar landscape actually contains a high amount of helium-3,
00:03:53an extremely powerful, non-polluting, non-radioactive fuel source.
00:04:01Experts estimate that a single space shuttle filled with this material could satisfy all
00:04:07the energy needs in the United States for an entire year.
00:04:13Think of it. Armadas of spaceships, mining the moon and other planets for natural resources.
00:04:22Could this help explain why Earth might have served as a destination for travelers from other worlds?
00:04:29We'd go out there with robot mining crews and eventually human mining crews, mine those planets, extract the ore,
00:04:38ships would come, they'd take the ore and bring them back.
00:04:41Well, if we would do it, why wouldn't extraterrestrials?
00:04:48But if alien excavators did come to Earth, perhaps thousands of years ago, wouldn't there be evidence?
00:04:59Here, in what is now known as Iraq, lies what is commonly regarded by historians and archaeologists as the cradle
00:05:07of civilization.
00:05:08Between 3500 and 1900 BC, the fertile area between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers was the home of the Sumerian
00:05:18people.
00:05:19The Sumerians were one of the first cultures that built actual cities with streets and a street grid,
00:05:26almost like New York City, where you have a square street grid.
00:05:31They invented cobblestones. They had a sewage system. They were taught in agriculture.
00:05:42The Sumerians also invented the first known writing system by using cuneiform script on clay tablets.
00:05:50In the 19th century, archaeologists exploring the ancient ruins of Nineveh discovered 22,000 of these clay tablets.
00:06:00When they were later translated, the texts described many stories similar to those found in the Judeo-Christian Bible.
00:06:09Virtually every story that's in Genesis, the flood story, Adam and Eve story, they all have precedence with the ancient
00:06:17Sumerians.
00:06:21In 1976, author Zechariah Sitchin published his own translations of the Sumerian texts in a series of books called The
00:06:30Earth Chronicles.
00:06:33According to Sitchin, the clay tablets describe an alien race known as the Anunnaki, who came to Earth to mine
00:06:41gold.
00:06:43Zechariah Sitchin has essentially suggested that the reason why we were visited in the remote past is because the ancient
00:06:52astronauts' home planet needed gold for their atmosphere.
00:06:56And that their gold content in the atmosphere was depleting.
00:07:02So they came to Earth in order to mine gold and bring it back to their home planet.
00:07:16But why gold?
00:07:18What are the unique properties of this precious metal that might make it important and worth traveling through the galaxy
00:07:24for?
00:07:29I think for extraterrestrials, gold would be an important resource just like it is for us.
00:07:34If it's at all like our society, one of the major things it's going to be built on is electricity.
00:07:39And gold really is one of the top conductors and its male ability and its ability to make it into
00:07:44wires, use it in really small forms as nanoparticles,
00:07:48is going to make it an incredible technological resource for any sort of life forms that reach that level of
00:07:54dealing with electricity and technology as we do.
00:07:57One of the exciting directions is possibly as an energy source through properties called thermoelectric effects where it can take
00:08:06heat and turn it directly into electricity.
00:08:08This would be obviously a very nice clean energy source.
00:08:13With its capacity to create energy and conduct heat, some scientists believe gold may also be an invaluable asset in
00:08:22the construction of spaceships.
00:08:24Gold actually reflects infrared light. Infrared is basically light that's not quite red.
00:08:32And so you don't see it, but we interact with it as heat.
00:08:35The radiation will interact with your molecules and make them vibrate faster and you'll feel that as heat.
00:08:40So it makes a great heat shield. Partly because it's so malleable you can make it very thin, it's easy
00:08:45to work with, and it has great properties for reflecting and heat protection.
00:08:52The only metal that really lasts is gold. Gold is indestructible. All gold from ancient times still exists today.
00:09:04If you look at Zachariah Sitchin's theories that ETs came down from another planet in our solar system, which is
00:09:12on a 3600 year elliptical orbit, that they were running out of minerals and gold specifically that they somehow needed
00:09:20to line their atmosphere with.
00:09:26These extraterrestrial stages first measure our planet. And they have the instrument to find out where on this planet do
00:09:34we find raw material.
00:09:36Through their incredible equipment, they find a planet that has this. It's got gold. So they decide, we're going to
00:09:45go there and we're going to mine.
00:09:46So they send some expeditions to planet Earth. All of a sudden they get here and the factions begin to
00:09:53say, well, there's a lot of gold here, but we're not digging it out. What are we going to do?
00:09:59We need workers.
00:10:01The story that came down to the Sumerians is that the Anunnaki were mining gold on the Earth. And the
00:10:10run-of-the-mill workers complained, said, this is really hard work and we're tired. We don't want to do
00:10:16this anymore.
00:10:17And so they had a big council. They decided to create a primitive worker called an Adamu.
00:10:27So they look at what is on this planet and that is Homo erectus. And they say, well, they're not
00:10:33very intelligent and they're not going to listen to us. So we're going to genetically alter them.
00:10:37The Anunnaki created humans as a slave species. According to Zechariah Sitchin, the Adamu were the first modern humans. They
00:10:49were created by the Anunnaki 450,000 years ago, when they genetically mixed their DNA with that of prehistoric man.
00:11:00They took one cell of one of these ancestors of us. They changed the cell by an artificial mutation. They
00:11:08changed the DNA code, what our genetics are doing every day.
00:11:12It's carved in their stone. This is not something made up. This is part of the Sumerian history.
00:11:20They believed that the gods came down and created them and they were their slave species. They knew that and
00:11:28they didn't have any philosophical beliefs about the purpose of man or anything.
00:11:33If you believe Sitchin's theory that mankind was created by ETs for slave labor, all of a sudden it makes
00:11:42sense. And then when you look at the biblical terms of what may have happened, Adam and Eve,
00:11:47sure, they may have been two individuals back a long time ago, the beginning of time. But perhaps Adam and
00:11:56Eve were the first of the genetically created human beings.
00:12:03Closer comparisons between the Hebrew Bible and the Sumerian texts reveal many similarities, not only in their stories, but also
00:12:12in their language.
00:12:14Adam is Hebrew for man. Adam is what the Sumerians refer to as first man, the Anunnaki slaves.
00:12:23But do the Sumerian tablets actually describe an alien race? A race that conducted mining operations on a global scale?
00:12:38Thousands of miles away, on the African continent, ruins of ancient gold mines have recently been discovered.
00:12:46The largest concentration can be found in South Africa, where some excavations, according to scientists, date back some 150,000
00:12:56years.
00:12:57They're in areas that have an abundance of gold right now. So it's very possible that they could have mining
00:13:04it.
00:13:04Now the big question is, how do we know they weren't human beings that simply did that? Why the ET
00:13:09theory?
00:13:11In many languages in Africa, the native word for star means bringer of knowledge or enlightenment.
00:13:18Some African cultures believe that extraterrestrial beings have been visiting the Earth for tens of thousands of years.
00:13:26Zulu legends speak of a time when visitors from the stars came to excavate gold and other natural resources.
00:13:35These mines were worked by artificially produced flesh and blood slaves created by the first people.
00:13:41Some ancient mines in southern Africa are thought to be 100,000 years old or older.
00:13:49If humans weren't doing that mining 100,000 years ago and making metals, then we would have to assume it
00:13:56would be extraterrestrials doing it.
00:13:58Alien slave mines? Genetically engineered humans?
00:14:02To believers of ancient astronaut theory, these notions are not far-fetched fantasies or fairy tales, but facts.
00:14:12And they point to additional evidence of alien mining a half-world away, on the American continent.
00:14:25Peru has long been known as the Land of Gold.
00:14:29In ancient times, Incan rulers adorned themselves with it.
00:14:34And when the Spanish explorers arrived in the 16th century, they sent shiploads of their plunder back home to Spain.
00:14:43Gold was largely a valuable commodity because of being rare and easy to make jewelry, coinage.
00:14:50And you're looking at, like, the ancient Incas.
00:14:52Those people are using gold as a status symbol.
00:14:55Many cultures thought it came directly from the gods.
00:15:00People thought gold was so pure, so wonderful, it must heal.
00:15:03And they would actually occasionally ingest pure gold.
00:15:08Certainly, we're discovering more and more, as we get better at archaeology,
00:15:12and as we can look into these things, applications that people have used.
00:15:16For instance, there is some evidence that ancient people had very primitive batteries.
00:15:19And this would be a place in which gold would be very useful because of its electrical properties and its
00:15:25conductivity.
00:15:27It should not be surprising, then, to find archaeological evidence of ancient gold mines.
00:15:34But some sites have recently been discovered that date back some 50,000 years.
00:15:41All throughout areas in Peru, you see remnants of what could have been ancient mining operations.
00:15:49It's there. They go down, in some cases, thousands of feet deep.
00:15:54Gold turns out to be surprisingly easy to mine for, even though it's relatively rare.
00:16:00There's a lot of common techniques ancient people used, and some of them were used, you know, well into recent
00:16:06times.
00:16:06A lot of it, you know, involves using water often to change the properties of the rock around it.
00:16:12A lot of heating and freezing, and the gold will come loose.
00:16:19In addition to gold, other ancient sites in Peru provide evidence that they were once mined for quartz, hematite, and
00:16:29red ochre.
00:16:31They're used for different things. Quartz is incredibly common.
00:16:34It's basically silicon dioxide. It's kind of like glass.
00:16:37It's a great mineral. It's hard, but it can be formed into pretty sculptures.
00:16:42You could make quartz statues. You could probably even use it for money before you discovered minerals and gold.
00:16:50Hematite and ochre are much more valuable because of their iron oxides.
00:16:58And particularly ochre is important as a pigment.
00:17:01So as soon as you're going to start having painting, cave drawings even, or any sort of artwork, you need
00:17:06to make colors.
00:17:07And making color can be a challenge, and ochre is a great source of that.
00:17:14Also located in Peru are the world famous Nazca Lines.
00:17:19While the origins of these ancient geoglyphs remain a mystery,
00:17:24the area in which the lines are located suggests that a major excavation took place there,
00:17:30perhaps hundreds of centuries ago.
00:17:33At Nazca, entire mountaintops have been removed.
00:17:38I mean, this all requires machining.
00:17:42And I'm not talking, you know, a little wheelbarrow and a pick.
00:17:48I'm talking sophisticated machinery because we, today, would also need sophisticated machinery in order to achieve such feats.
00:17:58Could the vast flat plain located in the Nazca desert be evidence of a gigantic mining operation?
00:18:07One that took place hundreds of thousands of years ago.
00:18:12Whoever comes here in a spaceship, Nazca would be like a beacon, as in, come here.
00:18:20Because the moment you come to Nazca, you're sort of confronted with a cliff note to planet Earth,
00:18:26where you have all sorts of raw materials that exist in that one particular spot in very, very abundant quantities.
00:18:37I think the Nazca lines aren't evidence of search for gold, but they're evidence of some communication with possibly ETs
00:18:45or gods from above.
00:18:47But despite the controversy, one thing is certain.
00:18:51The plane and the lines that scar the surrounding countryside are not natural formations.
00:18:59But while scientists and ancient astronaut theorists remain divided about who or what created the Nazca lines,
00:19:08they are in agreement about one thing.
00:19:11The so-called band of holes located in the Pisco Valley is a complete mystery.
00:19:21In the mountains of Peru, we have what's commonly referred to as the band of holes.
00:19:28And it is this band of holes that were carved or dug into the mountainside.
00:19:37It's a bunch of little shallow holes dug into the ground.
00:19:43And it's had all kinds of explanations.
00:19:45Some people say it was just pot hunters, you know, looting, looking for burials.
00:19:51Some people think it looks like some kind of machine was running over the territory.
00:19:56Some people think it was some kind of systematic mining operation.
00:20:02They need raw material, be it gold, be it silver, be it uranium, whatever they need something.
00:20:08And they send something down like a shuttle.
00:20:10It can be a robot. No, extraterrestrial is on board.
00:20:14And this robot just crashes over the surfaces and collects and measures raw material and disappears again.
00:20:23The holes run about three feet apart and measure six to seven feet in depth and number in the thousands.
00:20:33Often we see regular structures like that and we assume either a person or intelligent life had to make it.
00:20:39But there's lots of examples in nature where the natural processes lead to large scale what we call pattern formation.
00:20:46You see it on a small scale in animals.
00:20:49You look at leopards and zebras. Leopards have spots, zebras have stripes.
00:20:53Surprisingly, on geological scales, some of the same processes that give you spots on a leopard
00:20:58could give you indentations in the ground and raised areas that would look like holes.
00:21:03It would take a long time over geological scales, but we've had a long time, and that might be what
00:21:08they're left over from.
00:21:12Mainstream archaeologists suggest the holes were used to store grain.
00:21:17But ancient astronaut theorists reject that notion.
00:21:23It's a mystery, because who in their right mind would go ahead and dig all these holes? For what?
00:21:32The other intriguing aspect about the band of holes is that you can only see it from the air.
00:21:41When you stand down there, all you see is a couple of holes dug into the ground, and it doesn't
00:21:47really mean much.
00:21:47But if you're up in the air, there is this long band with these individual holes that you can see.
00:21:56And you can conceivably create some type of message that can only be seen from the air.
00:22:08But if ancient aliens came to Earth searching for gold, why did they leave?
00:22:15More gold still exists here, as do many other valuable minerals.
00:22:20Could it be that ancient mining operations were just the means to another possibly greater end?
00:22:27Or perhaps the real alien mission on Earth was to hunt the greatest prey in the universe.
00:22:36Man.
00:22:41Alamosa, Colorado. September 7th, 1967.
00:22:46When a three-year-old horse named Snippy went missing, her owners grew concerned and went out looking for her.
00:22:53Their search yielded a gruesome and mysterious discovery.
00:22:58Snippy's body had been mutilated.
00:23:03Almost surgically.
00:23:05An examination of the carcass showed that her skin and flesh had been neatly cut.
00:23:11Her heart and brain had been removed.
00:23:13And a formaldehyde-like odor emitted from the remains.
00:23:17An autopsy also revealed that her spinal fluid had been removed.
00:23:21The events of Snippy's death stunned the community and remain shrouded in mystery, even to this day.
00:23:29Since the mutilation, an estimated 50,000 similar events have been reported around the world.
00:23:36Most of them involving cattle.
00:23:40But it was not until about the middle of the 1970s that cattle mutilations really entered into ufology.
00:23:47Farmers would come out and find some prized livestock that was alive and healthy the day before.
00:23:52Then it was just suddenly dead.
00:23:54It looked like it had been cut up in a rather odd way.
00:23:58Certain parts of the body looked like they were cut out in ways that seemed to be almost surgical.
00:24:08Television producer and UFO investigator Linda Howe has been tracking the mystery of animal mutilation for over 30 years.
00:24:16I began trying to get to the bottom of what was happening to all of these animals.
00:24:21There were horses, cows, other domestic animals found with the same pattern of bloodless excisions.
00:24:29The law enforcement called them animal mutilations.
00:24:36266 some Polaroids from so many cases.
00:24:39And the first thing I felt was anger.
00:24:42And then I felt nervous and then I felt afraid.
00:24:48I sat across from sheriffs who told me, Linda, we're not dealing with predators, disease and satanic cults.
00:24:56We're dealing with creatures from outer space.
00:25:04There are several explanations for why aliens would want to experiment on cows.
00:25:08One is that they're just looking for food.
00:25:10One that they're looking for some kind of information about vertebrate organisms.
00:25:15Another one is that they're looking for some kind of genetic material for some reason.
00:25:21The closest answer I've ever gotten was from a man who had had very upfront and close and personal observations
00:25:29of nonhumans in his work for the government.
00:25:32He told me, he said, the best answer I can give you, Linda, is it's a genetic harvest.
00:25:38But once you have said a genetic harvest from Earth, there's even a bigger question.
00:25:43Why a genetic harvest from Earth?
00:25:47What is being made with this genetic harvest?
00:25:51To what end?
00:25:57The answer to these questions might be found in our ancient past.
00:26:02In the bizarre, almost Frankenstein-like experiments that were practiced by early civilizations.
00:26:09We have ancient descriptions from Egypt where it says specifically that the gods created these chimeras, mixed beings or hybrids.
00:26:26We find paintings where you have a human body with a cut-off head and a red tube coming out
00:26:35of it.
00:26:36And next to it, you have just the head of some animal.
00:26:41And in the next picture, because they look like comic strips almost.
00:26:46And in the next picture, you see the same human body with the animal head attached to the human neck.
00:26:53Incredibly, examples of strange human-animal hybrid beings date back to a time even older than ancient Egypt.
00:27:03According to mainstream archaeology, ancient Sumeria is the earliest civilization of humankind.
00:27:10And the interesting part is the fact that their earliest writings are filled with references of these bizarre beings that
00:27:22descended from the sky called the Anunnaki.
00:27:26Anunnaki means those who from the heavens came.
00:27:34But is there any physical evidence of these human-animal hybrids?
00:27:39If so, wouldn't we have found skeletal remains?
00:27:42The answer may have been found in Saqqara, Egypt, home to that country's oldest pyramid.
00:27:48In 1851, French scholar and Egyptologist Auguste Mariette explored a deep tomb dedicated to the sacred Apis Bull.
00:27:58Inside were two sealed and intact sarcophagi.
00:28:02But when Mariette opened them, what they contained was shocking.
00:28:08They opened the sarcophagus and they didn't find a bull.
00:28:13Instead, they found this black mass of what's called bitumen, a type of asphalt.
00:28:21And inside this stinking mass, they found the bone fragments of seven different types of animals crushed up.
00:28:32According to the accompanying texts, some type of monsters existed during the time of the Egyptians.
00:28:42And so who knows whether or not the priests instructed the people to destroy these beings, to rip them apart,
00:28:51to crush their bones,
00:28:52and put them inside this stinking mass, and put them underneath a lid in the sarcophagus, weighing 80 tons.
00:29:01I mean, in all of Egypt, we can find mummified remains of every single animal.
00:29:08But we find these sarcophagi that contain these crushed up bones.
00:29:15Doesn't that mean the ancient Egyptians did not want for those creatures to ever return after their death?
00:29:26Of course, mainstream scientists and archaeologists believe ancient Greek and Egyptian stories of animal and human hybrids are just fanciful
00:29:35products of the imagination.
00:29:38But are they?
00:29:39There is this period in pre-dynastic Egypt where these demi-gods ruled.
00:29:44We have not found human remains. We do not know who they were.
00:29:48But we do have scientific evidence that at least the ancient Egyptians believed firmly that they ruled.
00:29:55As to whether they are just human beings like you or I, or whether they come from somewhere else, or
00:30:01whether they are a hybrid being, we have no idea.
00:30:05What if ancient civilizations possessed the advanced scientific knowledge of our own modern-day scientists?
00:30:12What if they, too, had unlocked the mysteries of DNA, cloning, and gene splicing?
00:30:20Why is this so fascinating?
00:30:23Well, because if you look at this from a genetics aspect, we're in the process right now, today, of being
00:30:32able to recreate creatures like that.
00:30:36I mean, this is Frankenstein. This is science fiction stuff. Yet, in ancient Egypt, we have the exact same descriptions,
00:30:46the exact same depictions of some very bizarre hybridization program which took place thousands of years ago.
00:30:58They are mixing alien animals and human DNA, not just for 10 years or 20 years, but for thousands and
00:31:08thousands of years.
00:31:10And that's why there are so many alien abductions, and that's why each generation is psychically more advanced than the
00:31:18next until we get to the complete union of two cultures, the ultimate hybrid.
00:31:25I think the answer clearly is, we're not alone in this universe, and we have non-human intelligences interacting with
00:31:34this planet for reasons that are still unknown to most of us.
00:31:39It leaves you feeling a little nervous.
00:31:42If alien beings came here, as some suggest, to perform strange mutation experiments on animals, could they have done the
00:31:52same on humans? And if so, why?
00:32:02Life on Earth comes in a tremendous diversity of shapes and sizes.
00:32:08It can be found from the depths of the deepest oceans to the peaks of the highest mountains.
00:32:16But the vast array of life forms we see today is only a small portion of what has existed on
00:32:23this planet during its millions of years of history.
00:32:27In fact, scientists estimate that 97% of all the species that have ever lived on Earth are now extinct.
00:32:37Most scientists today will tell us that there have been six major extinction events that have occurred during the history
00:32:49of life on Earth.
00:32:50The most recent of these extinction events was the one that occurred 65 million years ago and wiped out the
00:32:58dinosaurs.
00:33:02Paleontologists attribute these mass extinctions to natural causes such as meteor strikes, floods, and dropping sea levels.
00:33:15But another theory suggests that these extinctions were not caused by nature, but by alien beings.
00:33:22In the ancient Sumerian texts, they can control weather, they can cause droughts, and they did this to humans.
00:33:31They are capable of producing their own disasters.
00:33:37But were now extinct life forms actually exterminated in order to make way for other perhaps more docile or desirable
00:33:44species?
00:33:45Was the intent to clear the way for colonization or invasion?
00:33:51And if so, what sort of technology would be needed to affect such a widespread change?
00:34:00Some theories say that we have that technology now called scalar technology.
00:34:06We heat up through high electrical impulses a certain spot on the water, and that creates a hurricane.
00:34:14And by making a path with that beam, you can track the hurricane.
00:34:19Now, if we can do that, and this is hypothetical, if we can do that, why can't an alien culture
00:34:26say,
00:34:27let's create an ice age on planet Earth.
00:34:31It will kill off the dinosaurs, but pave the way for aliens to implant human beings on planet Earth.
00:34:43Did alien beings come to Earth in order to stay?
00:34:47Might they, as some believe, have seeded it with their own genetic offspring?
00:34:52If so, where is the proof?
00:34:56Some ancient astronaut theorists point to myths that describe gods coming down from the heavens in order to mate with
00:35:04humans.
00:35:05Ancient texts talk about the fact that whoever visited the Earth in a remote path, these gods, thought that Earth
00:35:13women were quite beautiful.
00:35:15So, in many occasions, we find stories where those visitors essentially mated with Earth women.
00:35:26It was misinterpreted, misunderstood as something divine that came here.
00:35:33They were flesh and blood extraterrestrials.
00:35:38Native American folklore refers to those beings who came down from the heavens to breed with Earth women as star
00:35:45people.
00:35:49The star people are extraterrestrial people.
00:35:54They are not from this, this Earth.
00:36:00They visit, they are star ancestors.
00:36:08There's a great deal of interaction between them, like some of the American Indian star husband tales where some woman
00:36:18sleeping outside at night looks up at a star and thinks it's very beautiful and would like to go there
00:36:23and winds up finding herself in the morning being pulled up into heaven and meeting with a supernatural being who
00:36:31was associated with that star and becoming the bride of the star husband.
00:36:35According to Native American mythology, the brides of these alien beings would become pregnant and give birth to star children.
00:36:45They would be raised by the native mother until the age of six, when they went to live with their
00:36:51star father.
00:36:55Similar stories of intimate encounters between celestial beings and humans can be found in ancient Hebrew and Judeo-Christian Testaments.
00:37:04Often referred to as the pseudepigraph, or what many refer to as the Apocrypha.
00:37:12There are lots of instances in the pseudepigrapha, these are the books that didn't make it into the Bible, where
00:37:17people are visited by beings that aren't from this Earth.
00:37:21Before the Bible became the Bible of today, there were many additional books that used to be a part of
00:37:31the Bible.
00:37:32They were removed in what was called the Council of Nicaea because those books contained too much information, dangerous knowledge.
00:37:45In Genesis 6, it talks about these watchers that are kind of angels that came down from heaven and had
00:37:52sex with the women of the Earth.
00:37:56These strangers had sex with beautiful young girls on our planet. How can angels have sex?
00:38:05This is impossible. In our point, in our view, angels were something spiritual, not something that has a body and
00:38:12has a feeling of sex. But they had sex.
00:38:15Our prehistoric ancestors could not understand, and they believed that these extraterrestrials are some kind of gods.
00:38:24The conception of the Christ. An angel comes to the Holy Mother, to the Virgin Mary, and tells her that
00:38:30she's going to be blessed by God with a child.
00:38:33And then, essentially, she finds herself pregnant.
00:38:38There's an angelic reality important in the New Testament. Whether it be at the birth of Jesus or his resurrection,
00:38:45we've got the possibility of other powers from another world being involved from the beginning to the end.
00:38:51The more literal version is the idea that Jesus is strictly alien, which, of course, in a sense he is.
00:39:00Even if you take him as the Son of God, then obviously he is not of this Earth.
00:39:05I tend to believe that Jesus was a very spiritual human being who understood a lot of things that we're
00:39:13beginning to learn today.
00:39:14But it's also very possible that he might have been an extraterrestrial who came down to teach us things.
00:39:22That divine intelligence is very real in some form or fashion.
00:39:32Tales of gods mating with humans are prevalent in everything from Greek and Roman mythology to Native American legends.
00:39:41In China, at the end of the 5th century BC, the country was divided into seven states,
00:39:48each ruled by powerful warlords who battled for territory and power.
00:39:54It was during this turbulent era when the legendary story of Huangdi first appeared.
00:40:02A great god took the form of a dragon and came down to a hilltop where a young maiden was
00:40:08out gathering fruit.
00:40:11And as this great dragon came near, the sky darkened.
00:40:15It was like a storm.
00:40:16She was terrified and she passed out.
00:40:18When she came awake again, the sun came out again, and the dragon was gone, and she was pregnant.
00:40:27Much like the story of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, the story of Huangdi told of an earthling woman who
00:40:34would give birth to him,
00:40:36the legendary first emperor of China who ushered in a time of great change.
00:40:41God's deliberately bred with humans so that they could produce, they could get a race that they could trust and
00:40:47control a little bit better.
00:40:50In my mind, legends and myths are based on something real.
00:40:55While they've been mythified and distorted and exaggerated in many cases,
00:41:01but there's, in my mind, some core of truth here.
00:41:07Another prevalent theme in ancient texts, myths, and religions is that of a cataclysm of some kind.
00:41:16Usually, these come in the form of an intense flood, fire, or other devastating catastrophe.
00:41:23In the Hebrew Bible, for example, God punishes mankind for their decadence and sinful ways.
00:41:30He sends punishment in the form of a great flood, which destroys nearly all living things on the planet,
00:41:39except for Noah, his family, and the animals rescued aboard his ark.
00:41:47Similar stories can be found in numerous ancient texts.
00:41:51Many of the mythical tales of most civilizations include some kind of idea
00:41:58that there are gods that came to Earth at some point.
00:42:06One interpretation has been that these are literal descriptions of visitors from space.
00:42:13Not gods, but some creatures with advanced technology that came to Earth in times past,
00:42:19and either created mankind, brought culture to the Earth, brought civilization,
00:42:24and then, for some reason, departed, usually under some kind of breach between mankind and the gods.
00:42:36Take the case of the once thriving Mesoamerican cultures of the Aztecs and the Mayans.
00:42:41By the year 1500 A.D., they had all but vanished.
00:42:48But why?
00:42:50Was there a natural disaster of some kind?
00:42:53Or is there another, more otherworldly explanation?
00:42:58At some point, it all crashed in a cataclysmic disaster.
00:43:06And the world as they knew it came to an end.
00:43:10And tidal waves washed across continents.
00:43:16Areas of the planet went underwater.
00:43:19And the megalithic building that was going on then, too, also completely stopped.
00:43:24And it's what we see at certain areas, like in Peru, where giant blocks of granite have been quarried
00:43:33and harshly moved to where they were going.
00:43:37But then it all came to a sudden, complete halt.
00:43:47For nearly 3,000 years, the Mayan civilization thrived in Central America.
00:43:53Among their many accomplishments, the ancient Maya invented a remarkably complex and accurate calendar.
00:44:01According to scholars, the calendar started on August 11, 31, 14 BC.
00:44:08The first calendar cycle ends about 5,000 years later, on December 21, 2012.
00:44:16But why?
00:44:18Did the Mayans know something about mankind's future?
00:44:21Something we have forgotten or chosen to ignore.
00:44:26There's a lot of excitement being generated now about the Mayan calendar ending in year 2012.
00:44:34And if there is such a cataclysm or some massive earth change that's suddenly going to occur.
00:44:41And so the idea that ancient people, like the Mayans say, were somehow totally in tune with this,
00:44:49and had knowledge of these kind of vast cosmic cycles, which apparently lead to cataclysmic changes on the earth,
00:44:58that's the kind of advanced knowledge that we wouldn't expect them to have.
00:45:03And where would they get that kind of knowledge?
00:45:06You would think that would have to come from extraterrestrials.
00:45:10If we accept the notion that alien beings left behind the Mayan calendar as some type of ancient advanced warning
00:45:18device,
00:45:19might they have left other astronomical instruments here on earth?
00:45:23And if so, why was it so important for ancient civilizations to track the stars?
00:45:36The stars.
00:45:40Since the beginning of time, man has gazed in wonder at the night sky.
00:45:46Stars became the stuff of legends, home of the gods, and sometimes man's final resting place.
00:45:54It is no surprise then, that ancient man built monuments dedicated to these celestial wonders.
00:46:02When we look at ancient monuments around the world, these megalithic structures,
00:46:08we find that many of them are aligned astronomically.
00:46:15To the sun, to planets, to stars, numerous examples can be listed.
00:46:23Stonehenge is essentially an ancient astronomical observatory.
00:46:30Yes, it may have been used for ritualistic purposes,
00:46:34it may have been used for religious purposes,
00:46:36but it's very clear that it was also used for astronomical purposes, for observations.
00:46:43We're not surprised whether it's Stonehenge, pyramids,
00:46:49or perhaps the Nazca Lines, that ancient people understood events that were going to happen in the sky,
00:46:55and when they would repeat.
00:46:58But why was ancient man so fixated on the sky?
00:47:03And why did they construct elaborate stone monuments and temples,
00:47:07in order to track the movements of the stars?
00:47:11Was it simply to help farmers know when to plant their crops?
00:47:15Or might there have been another, perhaps more, profound purpose?
00:47:20Could they, as some believe, have been constructed as a type of extraterrestrial GPS system?
00:47:31The
00:47:32Naptal Playa Egypt, 500 miles south of Cairo, in Egypt's Nubian Desert,
00:47:39sits one of the oldest astronomical sites ever discovered.
00:47:44In 1974, archaeologist Fred Wendorf almost passed it by,
00:47:50before noticing its small stone artifacts and toppled rocks.
00:47:56It's a very intriguing site, it's just strange stone formations,
00:48:00circles, stone alignments, bizarre tumuli with strange rocks around them.
00:48:09Later excavations put the date of the astronomical device at approximately 5000 BC,
00:48:17making it close to 1000 years older than the remarkably similar formation at Stonehenge.
00:48:24When they brought an astronomer there, they realized that it was a ceremonial site,
00:48:27very intensely astronomical.
00:48:30The intriguing thing about this site is that it shows that they were tracking stars over thousands of years.
00:48:37And to track stars over that period, they must have been aware of what we call precession,
00:48:41which means that they weren't simply astronomers or ancient astronomers,
00:48:46they were very sophisticated astronomers.
00:48:50Could the people who built Nabta Playa 7,000 years ago have possessed an advanced understanding of physics and astronomy,
00:48:59one that rivals or perhaps surpasses our own?
00:49:03And why were they tracking Orion and Sirius?
00:49:10In 1994, the mystery of Nabta Playa took on even greater significance,
00:49:16when Robert Boval announced a surprising discovery along Egypt's Giza Plateau.
00:49:25The Great Pyramid contained four long interior shafts.
00:49:30Boval determined that they were each precisely aligned with specific stars in the sky.
00:49:37The southern ones aligned to the belt of Orion and Sirius,
00:49:43and the northern ones aligned to the circumpolar stars.
00:49:47Again, this is very intriguing.
00:49:49In terms of construction engineering, that's bullseye.
00:49:53As an engineer, I know that it's one thing building a pyramid,
00:49:57but it's another thing building a pyramid with that kind of precision.
00:50:01Boval also proved that the three pyramids of Giza were laid out in the precise order and position
00:50:08of the three stars of the Orion's Belt constellation.
00:50:11But what exactly is the significance of the shaft alignment and the layout of the pyramids themselves?
00:50:22I mean, we're deciphering a message.
00:50:24The question is whether it is religious or whether it is a stellar message.
00:50:28The fact is that what we have on the ground is an image of a constellation
00:50:33that we know now is the birthplace of stars.
00:50:39Literally stars are being born in there.
00:50:42And the Egyptians themselves believed that their gods had descended from the stars.
00:50:49That could be either a knowledge of ancient astronomy,
00:50:53or it could also be a road map to where these ETs may have come from.
00:50:59But why were the ancients so fixated on the Orion and Sirius constellations?
00:51:05Some believe the answer can be found on the other side of the world, in North America.
00:51:14Cholula, Mexico is home to the largest pyramid in the world.
00:51:18More than 3,000 years old.
00:51:21It is estimated that it took approximately 1,400 years to complete.
00:51:25Even though the Cholula pyramid doesn't look like much because of the overgrown vegetation,
00:51:31it is in fact the world's largest monument ever constructed by human hands.
00:51:40In fact, the volume of the Cholula pyramid, the whole pyramid complex, is 4.45 million cubic meters.
00:51:48The Great Pyramid in Egypt only has 2.5 million cubic meters in volume.
00:51:58So, the Great Pyramid at Giza is way taller than the Cholula pyramid,
00:52:04but volume-wise, the Cholula pyramid is by far the largest man-made structure ever created on planet Earth.
00:52:19Originally built by the Olmecs in the 3rd century BC,
00:52:24the pyramid was later added on to and used by the Toltecs and the Aztecs
00:52:28as a place of religious ritual and human sacrifice.
00:52:34But along with its history of bloodshed, an examination of the pyramid reveals that the ancient cultures of the region
00:52:41had a remarkable understanding of astronomy.
00:52:45It's interesting to consider what the Aztec people thought about its origins.
00:52:52They did not think it was built by humans like us, which is our theory today.
00:53:01According to the ancient Aztec tradition, the Cholula pyramid was built by a being they called a giant.
00:53:13If you look at the Aztec cosmology, you'll see that these giant beings were identified with different celestial objects.
00:53:24The one in particular that is said to have built the Cholula pyramid is identified with the planet Venus.
00:53:37Both the Aztecs and the ancient Egyptians charted most of the planets in the solar system thousands of years before
00:53:44European astronomers.
00:53:45But why?
00:53:47And even more compelling is the fact that the two cultures were thousands of miles and half a world apart.
00:53:56Mainstream archaeologists are telling us that all these civilizations around the world, in the Americas, on remote Pacific islands, in
00:54:03Asia and Africa and Europe,
00:54:05that they're all disconnected with each other.
00:54:07And that there wasn't some contact with South America and Egypt or any of these ancient civilizations.
00:54:15But really, it has to be the other way around.
00:54:19All of these ancient civilizations were connected in some way.
00:54:24But were these holy sites, as ancient astronaut proponents suggest, really connected to each other?
00:54:31And if so, why?
00:54:34Are they evidence of aliens coming to Earth?
00:54:38Whoa, I'm getting a series of lights right there.
00:54:40I got it, I got it, I got it.
00:54:41These reports that we continue to get from people of ET visitations and craft
00:54:47clearly points out to me that we're being visited and we have been visited.
00:54:51There it is, over to the left.
00:54:53They may have physically left the planet in terms of a civilization, but they're continuing to come back and monitor
00:55:00us for some reason.
00:55:02Wow.
00:55:04More appeared, bro.
00:55:05If aliens are watching us today, what are they waiting for?
00:55:10Or, as some claim, have they already left messages for us in plain view?
00:55:2390 miles west of London, in the county of Wiltshire, the English countryside remains pretty much as it has for
00:55:30thousands of years.
00:55:32Small farms, stone walls, and rolling green hills provide inhabitants with an environment of peace and stability.
00:55:43This historic region is also home to a large number of ancient sacred sites, many built thousands of years ago.
00:55:52It's an ancient sacred landscape where most of them occur.
00:55:55There are monuments that you know about, Stonehenge, Avebury, Silbury Hill.
00:56:01This is one small area that seems to be a manipulated landscape that was done thousands of years ago, where
00:56:07sacred rituals have taken place.
00:56:14But in 1978, Wiltshire's tranquil landscape became the focus of a controversy that persists to this day.
00:56:27Today, alongside the tracks of farm machinery, a new set of circles were found.
00:56:32No human tracks lead to the markings.
00:56:40There, carved in fields of wheat, barley, and rye, were elaborate geometric patterns.
00:56:47Even more curious was the fact that much like the famed Nazca lines of Peru, the designs were only visible
00:56:56from the air.
00:56:57When you see it for the first time, you go, what in the world is that doing there?
00:57:01I mean, it's obviously not natural.
00:57:05There have been cases that have been traced back for hundreds of years, the so-called mowing devil, where apparently
00:57:12some sort of devil supposedly mowed a field in a single night.
00:57:16But they became recognized as a phenomenon only when these circles started appearing in English wheat fields.
00:57:23They were very simple things at first, but they kept occurring year after year, and each year they seemed to
00:57:30get a little more elaborate.
00:57:31One of the early theories was that there was some kind of whirlwind that was making them, but as they
00:57:37became more elaborate, they also became associated with paranormal activity, particularly UFOs.
00:57:43Some people said they saw light in the field at night, and some people began to read that as a
00:57:49UFO presence.
00:57:51This circle in a Wiltshire field is just one of 200 such markings to have been discovered in the last
00:57:57six weeks.
00:57:58To farmers and scientists, how they're formed, or by whom, remains a big mystery.
00:58:03Not surprisingly, the region became the focus of intense interest from UFO enthusiasts and skeptics, each offering explanations as to
00:58:14who or what was responsible for this strange phenomenon.
00:58:19But if, in fact, alien beings from another planet were responsible for the crop circles, why were they making them
00:58:27in England?
00:58:29Were they trying to contact us? Or were their clues embedded in the designs?
00:58:35And was the proximity to Stonehenge and other ancient sites of any particular significance?
00:58:41So you have the idea of these earth energies and these ancient structures, and then the crop circles are appearing
00:58:47around them.
00:58:50And many of the crop circles appear to be some kind of signals, ancient writing.
00:58:56The crop circles are calling us back to a time before science and spirit got separated, when we were whole,
00:59:03we had a sense of wholeness.
00:59:04And here they're landing near sacred sites that are from an ancient time when we did experience those things.
00:59:11When I saw the first photographs, I was haunted, actually.
00:59:17Are these extraterrestrials doing this? Are we dealing with somebody who knows how to bend space and time?
00:59:24Our entire relationship with the universe and quantum physics and all of its complexities has been pushed hard by crop
00:59:35formations alone.
00:59:38Certainly it is one theory that extraterrestrials are trying to communicate in a big way through popular media.
00:59:48Crop circles do get in the newspapers all over the world, perhaps that's what they want.
00:59:52These are being carefully designed.
00:59:55They're not accidental, both in terms of the shape and where they land.
01:00:00These aren't accidents.
01:00:01There's a mind behind this that's making these decisions.
01:00:06Where's that mind?
01:00:07What kind of body is it in?
01:00:14Scientists struggled to find an explanation for the phenomenon until in 1991, two self-proclaimed British pranksters, Doug Bauer and
01:00:24Dave Chorley, came forward and proclaimed that they were the ones responsible.
01:00:30They showed how they could make crop circles in a single night using some very simple tools.
01:00:37And at the time, people said, well, that must be the explanation for it.
01:00:41Nevertheless, some researchers remain skeptical that a single pair of elderly men could have created literally hundreds of designs in
01:00:50the dead of night with little more than a few boards and some rope.
01:00:54You know, it was very effective. You still will run into people, crop circles, oh, forget about them. Those two
01:01:01old guys made them. Come on, don't be so naive.
01:01:03They were done by those two old guys years ago. Why are you paying attention to them anymore?
01:01:08Very effective piece of disinformation.
01:01:12During the years that followed Bauer and Chorley's confession, crop circles continued to appear in the English countryside and at
01:01:20various locations around the world.
01:01:23Some were inarguably the work of artists or jokesters.
01:01:27But after studying soil samples and grain dispersion patterns in the disturbed farmland, researchers concluded that it would be impossible
01:01:36for all of these designs to be man-made.
01:01:39Well, in what we would consider to be a mysterious crop circle where we can identify it being made by
01:01:44people, the lay is absolutely beautiful, the lay of the crop.
01:01:47It's like a million carpet layers came down and put these stalks of grain down right parallel to one another.
01:01:53It's just a gorgeous thing to behold. When the hoaxers make them, they tend to be sloppy and messy because
01:01:59they haven't got that same force.
01:02:01They're doing handmade manipulation, which doesn't lay them down quite as beautifully.
01:02:08In 1991, noted biophysicist Dr. William Levengood put forth a startling new theory.
01:02:17After spending 10 years studying crop circle sites and samples, he concluded that they were created by a complex energy
01:02:25system, which he called a spinning plasma vortex, that comes down from somewhere high up in the atmosphere.
01:02:35Here.
01:02:37Biophysicist Levengood has now analyzed 350-some samples from crop formations in his career.
01:02:45Now, if Levengood were sitting here with me, he would say,
01:02:48All I can do is I can take you from the ground, I can take you from the crops up,
01:02:56but I can't tell you what sets in motion that spinning plasma vortex in the first place.
01:03:03It's still a huge mystery.
01:03:07The anomalous things that happen inside crop circles are, in fact, one of the indications that you're in a so
01:03:12-called genuine circle,
01:03:13because, indeed, the weirdest things happen.
01:03:16Batteries fail, brand new batteries, people go in with cameras, cell phones don't work.
01:03:21There have been people who have started reading all kinds of messages into these crop circles, that they have some
01:03:27kind of digital significance, that you can read the kind of numerology and there'll be a kind of message.
01:03:33People are really reading something into it.
01:03:39In terms of who or what is delivering them, we have no way to know that.
01:03:43We only have science fiction that tells us what's coming to visit us.
01:03:47So we have to just speculate about where this might be coming from.
01:03:50We have to wait for whatever the source is to introduce itself to us.
01:03:54Are we dealing with time travelers? Are we dealing with spiritual forces from some dimension we don't understand?
01:04:02Are we dealing with advanced intelligences that are not even in this galaxy, that are from someplace else?
01:04:09And is this a form of communication?
01:04:12The conversations keep getting more and more complicated.
01:04:15Crop circles are contact. We're being contacted just because we don't have the bodies to shake hands with.
01:04:21We have the evidence that the bodies have left us.
01:04:24I'm absolutely convinced that crop circles are evidence of intelligent life.
01:04:28There is intelligence bombarding us, winking at us, waving.
01:04:32Are these mysterious crop circles messages or warnings?
01:04:37Or might they have another, perhaps, more profound purpose?
01:04:41Could they be futuristic clues, guiding us to our ultimate destiny?
01:04:47Or ancient symbols, paving the way for our ultimate destruction?
01:04:58Belize, Central America.
01:05:01In 1924, British adventurer Frederick Mitchell Hedges traveled here with his daughter, Anna,
01:05:08to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Lubantun.
01:05:13One afternoon, Anna climbed to the top of a crumbling pyramid, hoping to see the ocean.
01:05:20It was high noon, and she was at the top.
01:05:22And the way the sun came in, the way the rocks had moved in,
01:05:25that there was just a small opening, and the light from the sun went through,
01:05:29and it hit the top of the skull.
01:05:31And she ran down, and she was all excited.
01:05:33She said, there's someone in there with a flashlight.
01:05:36Anna's father and others in their party were too large to fit inside the small opening of the pyramid.
01:05:43So they tied a rope around Anna and lowered her into the hole.
01:05:47When she came back up, Anna held the top of a strange crystal skull.
01:05:53A second search uncovered a matching jaw.
01:05:56The two-piece skull weighed 11 pounds 7 ounces and appeared to be carved from a single piece of rock
01:06:04crystal.
01:06:06It's the only crystal skull which is almost perfectly humanoid.
01:06:10It's the only crystal skull which has a detachable jaw.
01:06:12And when I say almost perfectly humanoid, the one thing which is missing is the sutures on the cranium.
01:06:19It has a perfect cranium.
01:06:22So it almost suggests that even though it's a human crystal skull,
01:06:26those who were carving it somehow felt that this creature was not born.
01:06:30It somehow came into this world perfectly.
01:06:34The skull's appearance created an immediate sensation among the local tribesmen.
01:06:40When a native saw it, it was like their god had returned.
01:06:43They all started crying and kissing the earth and everything.
01:06:46They were just so excited.
01:06:47And Mitchell had just seen this, he presented it to the high priest.
01:06:51And they put it in an altar, and for 24 hours a day they burned flames around the crystal skull.
01:07:01The Mayan elders believed that in ancient times, 13 crystal skulls were buried in secret places around the world.
01:07:09Currently, it is claimed that seven have been found.
01:07:13Four are in private collections, and one each in the British Museum, the Smithsonian, and the K. Bradley Museum in
01:07:21Paris.
01:07:22All have been the focus of intense examination, speculation, and even worship.
01:07:30A lot of natives and a lot of people working with crystal skulls say that the high quartz content skulls,
01:07:37and especially the quartz skulls themselves, is the highest frequency or energy or vibration possible on the physical plane.
01:07:45And so a lot of native people kind of worshipped or took care of these objects because they knew that
01:07:52they had,
01:07:53or felt that they had the highest energy possible on the earth plane.
01:08:01But what are the exact origins of these mysterious crystal skulls?
01:08:07Since their discovery, scientific tests have determined that the two owned by the British Museum and the K. Branly were
01:08:16not authentic pre-Columbian artifacts.
01:08:19Could it be that the Mitchell Hedges skull was also a fake?
01:08:24In the 1960s, it underwent extensive testing by art curator Frank Dorland and the Hewlett Packard Company.
01:08:32They used the most advanced stuff that they had.
01:08:35They could not find any marks on it except for around the jaw and I think a little bit around
01:08:41the eyes.
01:08:42The only place they saw tool marks using their techniques.
01:08:46At the time, Hewlett Packard found that the temperature always stays about the same temperature, no matter if it's hot
01:08:52or cold.
01:08:53It was carved against the lines of the crystal. If anybody tried to do that, it would break into a
01:08:59thousand pieces.
01:09:00It's made out of a high level of electronic crystal and they're not really sure exactly where it came from.
01:09:08If you listen to the academics, crystal skulls are all modern fabrications.
01:09:13Meaning somebody has gone on there with a wheel and has carved them as such.
01:09:18And this is where the big divide is between established academics and alternative researchers like myself
01:09:24who feel that the academics are not using all the available evidence to draw their conclusions.
01:09:30And in short, we believe that the academics are wrong in their conclusions.
01:09:38Are these skulls really ancient artifacts? And if not, who or what carved them?
01:09:47Crystal skulls, according to certain stories, yes, they're alien artifacts.
01:09:53Even some people think they're made on another planet.
01:10:01I think there are links between crystal skulls and extraterrestrials, not necessarily that they were carved and created by extraterrestrials.
01:10:10And I've been told they were created by humans, but they were created specifically to hold records from alien civilizations.
01:10:20Could there actually be some type of coded information stored inside these skulls?
01:10:26And if there is, how could it be retrieved?
01:10:31There's a legend that there were 13 skulls and that when the 13 skulls come together, then something significant will
01:10:39change in the world.
01:10:42The legend suggests that there are 12 additional worlds out there, planets which are inhabited by intelligent species.
01:10:52Now, we belong to those worlds or to those planets, and our planet Earth is called Planet of the Children.
01:11:04They also suggest that these 13 crystal skulls that allegedly exist on planet Earth were each brought here from one
01:11:16of those 12 planets.
01:11:19And the 13th skull is the one that apparently contains all of the information of all those 12 different worlds.
01:11:32Within each crystal skull, information is stored.
01:11:35And in fact, IBM has shown that too, that quartz crystal can store millions of gigabytes of information.
01:11:43And in fact, any quartz crystal or a crystal skull could hold much more information than any computer we have
01:11:51now.
01:11:53So when these crystal skulls would be brought together, they begin to interface with each other.
01:12:02And ultimately, a greater knowledge and information is condensed and brought to us.
01:12:11And that's the legend of the crystal skulls.
01:12:13But as ancient astronaut theorists maintain, why would visiting aliens have given the crystal skull to the Maya?
01:12:23To what purpose?
01:12:24The skull is a very important motif for the Mayans.
01:12:27When you look around the Mayan monuments, you see skulls carved pretty much everywhere.
01:12:32They use it for some of their denotations for calendars.
01:12:36And it is the Mayan calendar that many people refer to when discussing the possibility of a new Armageddon.
01:12:43Are the skulls somehow linked to this?
01:12:47The current keeper of the Mitchell Hedges skull believes they are.
01:12:532012, just a few years away, all these different things are happening, the wars, etc.
01:12:58And I think the skulls are coming forward to do what they're made to do.
01:13:04But are these skulls the trigger that will begin the dawn of a new era?
01:13:09Or will they simply be used as a tool by some form of extraterrestrial intelligence to guide mankind to its
01:13:17next stage of evolution?
01:13:18If so, is this intelligence waiting and watching for the right moment?
01:13:25And from where exactly could it be watching us?
01:13:37If extraterrestrial beings do exist in the universe, where are they?
01:13:43That was the question posed by Enrico Fermi, one of the leading scientists of the 20th century.
01:13:53Shortly after the Second World War, the famous physicist Enrico Fermi, who was taking part in the Manhattan Project to
01:14:01build the atomic bomb,
01:14:02Tom was talking at Los Alamos with some friends about the reports of flying saucers.
01:14:07And Fermi suddenly said, in relation to extraterrestrial intelligent beings, where are they?
01:14:14And he was simply making the point that if there was a civilization somewhere in the galaxy that had arisen,
01:14:21say, a hundred million years ago,
01:14:23then they had plenty of time to spread across the galaxy.
01:14:27Fermi said, gee, if there's all of these civilizations out there, on all of these planets out there, where is
01:14:34everybody?
01:14:36The Fermi paradox, as it became known, was an attempt to explain the lack of evidence of aliens, despite the
01:14:44mathematical probability of their existence.
01:14:47Up until this point, to modern time, no credible scholar, no credible scientist, looks at any of the evidence that
01:14:53ancient alien enthusiasts put forth and say,
01:14:56yes, this is evidence of ancient aliens. No credible scholar does that.
01:15:00Moreover, the whole SETI project, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, has been going on now for nearly 50 years.
01:15:09The fact that we have found no radio telescope evidence of extraterrestrials plays very much into the Fermi paradox,
01:15:18in that it further indicates, if they're out there, why aren't we hearing from them?
01:15:26And we don't seem to be hearing from them.
01:15:32But in the 1960s, MIT astrophysicist John Ball rebutted Fermi's hypothesis with a controversial one of his own, the zoo
01:15:43hypothesis.
01:15:44The zoo hypothesis says that we are in a zoo or a wilderness area that they have essentially left alone,
01:15:52and are going to leave alone, to allow us to develop in our own way, in our own way.
01:15:59Extraterrestrials have detected us on Earth, but have chosen not to come here, not to invade,
01:16:06but rather to observe us as we observe animals in the zoo.
01:16:15They've thought, we'll do a study of those earthlings and see what sort of people they are.
01:16:22Now, why would they do this? Well, if, on the one hand, we have nothing they want, that's surely true,
01:16:29and on the other hand, we aren't able to interfere with whatever they're doing, that's also surely true.
01:16:36They're out there doing their own thing, and they're not paying any attention to us,
01:16:40and we're not clever enough to eavesdrop on whatever they're doing.
01:16:47That's the predicament we're in. We have something that is looking down and monitoring us.
01:16:53We are on the petri dish, and we can't get out far enough to see what's behind those eyes behind
01:17:01that microscope.
01:17:06If aliens are watching us right now, where are they?
01:17:11Some believe they are sitting out in space in what are called Lagrange points,
01:17:15named after mathematician and astronomer Joseph Lagrange, who discovered them in 1772.
01:17:23There are five of these points between the sun, the earth, and our moon.
01:17:28Lagrange points are points between two bodies where the forces balance equally.
01:17:32Think of like a seesaw, when you have one really heavy person and one really light person.
01:17:36There's a kind of balance point in there, and that's what a Lagrange point is.
01:17:41Lagrange points is where we send some of our own satellites,
01:17:44and that's a point in space where you can just sort of sit there in earth for millions of years,
01:17:49if you had to, without having to worry about in-course corrections.
01:17:52If you go anywhere else in the solar system, then in order to keep pace with earth as it orbits
01:17:58the sun,
01:17:58you've got to continually change your position.
01:18:02So people have talked about Lagrange points as a place where a spacecraft might hide out,
01:18:07because you don't have to do a lot to stay in that spot.
01:18:09It's sort of equally balanced, and you just get carried along.
01:18:14If an extraterrestrial race would have ever visited our solar system,
01:18:19they could have placed a probe in those specific points in order to observe us, to record us, what have
01:18:26you.
01:18:26So, I mean, this is not something that the ancient astronaut theory has proposed.
01:18:32This is, you know, university professors, astrophysicists, who have proposed this.
01:18:41Some argue that another reason alien beings have yet to reveal themselves is because they don't yet consider us worthy.
01:18:49This forms the basis of John Ball's jungle hypothesis.
01:18:54The jungle hypothesis just means that if you have animals such as ants that live in the jungle, no matter
01:19:03how many of them you have,
01:19:04their chances of ever having seen a human being are very slim.
01:19:09Not because we're hiding or anything, but we just don't have a reason to go into the jungle and step
01:19:14on ant hills.
01:19:15So, the idea is that we are probably related to advanced extraterrestrial intelligence, similar to an ant hill might be
01:19:25related to humans.
01:19:26And the fact that we've never seen any extraterrestrial intelligence is just, we don't have anything they want.
01:19:34We could actually shake hands with something that might have been coming and going on this planet for literally thousands,
01:19:42perhaps millions of years,
01:19:43and has kept a distance during the last age of man for reasons unknown, and maybe is waiting for us
01:19:53all to finally grow up.
01:19:56One thing that can be said with a great deal of confidence is that if the contact is initiated by
01:20:06them,
01:20:07they are going to be not only superior to us, but greatly superior to us.
01:20:14They won't be just beginners like we are, they will be far more advanced than we are.
01:20:30Both the jungle and zoo hypothesis propose that alien beings are watching us, but are, for the time being, keeping
01:20:39their distance.
01:20:41But what if they're not?
01:20:43What if the alien mission was to integrate with our society in a way that avoids detection?
01:20:49If so, might they be walking among us, right now?
01:20:59According to the ancient astronaut theory, aliens may have come to Earth for many reasons.
01:21:05To excavate, to breed, to conquer, or simply, to explore.
01:21:12Certainly, we want to go out and find out about things we don't know about.
01:21:16We see the moon, we want to go up to the moon and find out more things about it.
01:21:19We see Mars, we want to go there. We want to go to Jupiter, we send out our probes.
01:21:23So, if aliens are something like us, then perhaps they have that same kind of motivation.
01:21:28They just want to go learn.
01:21:31Just like we exhibit curiosity, there are other species out there that have the same trait.
01:21:41It would be very egotistical to think that we're the only explorers in this galaxy.
01:21:48I mean, that would be a very sad statement to suggest we're the only ones with a brain and want
01:21:55to go out there and explore.
01:21:59But while our own journeys into space have been brief and largely exploratory,
01:22:04could other beings traveling millions of miles to Earth have stayed?
01:22:09And if so, might they still be among us?
01:22:14Many ancient astronaut theorists think this all happened in the past
01:22:18and the extraterrestrials came here, did this and did that,
01:22:21and then they took off back to their own planet.
01:22:25But there's a lot of evidence to show that extraterrestrials who might have come here in the past, they've never
01:22:30left.
01:22:33They have bases somewhere on the planet, underneath the oceans, inside mountains.
01:22:42In South America, there is very strong beliefs that many UFOs come out of lakes and underwater.
01:22:51And that Lake Titicaca and other lakes in Peru and Bolivia and other areas of South America
01:22:58have some kind of underground, underwater alien base associated with them.
01:23:11If aliens were coming to our planet, there seems little doubt that they would stop at the moon on their
01:23:18way here.
01:23:21The moon itself is kind of the eye in the sky.
01:23:26NASA says that the moon is apparently hollow.
01:23:33During the Apollo missions, the command module crashed into the moon.
01:23:40And the moon rang like a bell for hours.
01:23:45There are craters on the moon which they cannot find bottom to.
01:23:50And it's thought by some researchers that these bottomless craters are entrances inside our moon.
01:24:05The whole enigma of the moon gets weirder and weirder the more you know it.
01:24:11Wasn't the moon actually brought here from another solar system and put into orbit around our planet?
01:24:18Biologists say that life on this planet could never have occurred without our moon.
01:24:24And the reason for that is that the moon creates the tidal effect.
01:24:29And without the effect of tides and this rhythmic motion on the oceans,
01:24:36life would never have begun on this planet.
01:24:45In my mind, the evidence is there that the moon is a gigantic spaceship in orbit around our planet.
01:24:56It's occupied by some extraterrestrial race.
01:25:00In many ways, it's much like the George Lucas Death Star concept in Star Wars,
01:25:09where they're building this artificial moon that's capable with technology of actually destroying a planet.
01:25:19But if alien beings are using the moon as some sort of satellite for Earth observation,
01:25:26why?
01:25:27What would be the purpose?
01:25:29And where is the proof?
01:25:31They would like to see us evolve.
01:25:34They are great masters, great avatars.
01:25:41They are very high.
01:25:44And so are we.
01:25:45And we need to live up to our potential.
01:25:50We really need to live up to our potential for all people.
01:25:57And today, we are living still as if we are alone in the universe,
01:26:04while hundreds and thousands of people are seeing unusual craft in the skies as they did 5,000 years ago.
01:26:13And so, in a way, the idea that the ancient aliens would finally be coming around full circle all the
01:26:23way into the 21st century,
01:26:26is trying to push open a truth that governments have suppressed in the 20th century, is really very ironic.
01:26:39There are many diverse and conflicting theories concerning the idea that alien astronauts have been visiting the Earth for centuries.
01:26:48But perhaps the proof lies in the most obvious place of all.
01:26:53Right within ourselves.
01:26:56Somewhere in our genes, it is coded that extraterrestrials were here thousands of years ago.
01:27:04And it takes a certain time before this message is open to us, maybe in the brain.
01:27:12I don't believe extraterrestrials, ETs, ancient astronauts are the missing link.
01:27:18I think what they very well could be, they may be the beginning of the link.
01:27:22The link that helped genetically alter human beings.
01:27:25The link that jump-started our civilization the way we are today.
01:27:31It's very possible.
01:27:32They came down here and saw some creature.
01:27:35And they said, you know what, we're going to jump-start this.
01:27:39It may take another 10 million years for this thing to become smart and intelligent.
01:27:45So they created us.
01:27:47And we're smart and intelligent now, aren't we?
01:27:51we're going to be the beginning, aren't we?
01:27:53We'll look to appreciate it.
01:27:54I'll look to be safe today.
01:27:54So,
01:27:54substance,
