01:00And now, we have just one last season to keep things crackling.
01:04I have to uphold the time on a tradition of the show and ask the questions that truly matter.
01:10Is a certain superstar still a virgin, who's hot and who's not?
01:14Serious stuff like that, ladies and gentlemen, very serious stuff.
01:18A wise man once said, it's done, bro.
01:21And I think he's right.
01:22So who better to kick off my final season than the man himself?
01:27He's appeared on this couch only twice in 22 years and it's taken me 10 long years to get him
01:33back.
01:33He's one of our last true blue heroes.
01:36He speaks his mind, wears his heart on his sleeve and whenever possible, wears absolutely nothing on his chest.
01:43A superstar to billions, an emotion to many and simply bhai.
01:47To the world at large, ladies and gentlemen, give it up for none other than Salman Khan.
02:10Should I sit there?
02:11Yeah, sit there.
02:12Okay, we can do that.
02:13No, no, suna hai ki aapka aakhri season hai.
02:15Anji.
02:16Toh ish liye mai ish kursi meh baihtna ha ha ha.
02:19I don't mind.
02:20No one deserves to sit there more than you.
02:23After coffee with Karan, here will be coffee with Salman.
02:26Coffee? Why don't you take over?
02:28No, you come here right now.
02:29My coffee is right here.
02:31Okay, all right. Let's do it.
02:33Okay.
02:34Firstly, thank you for coming and being a part of the last season of Coffee with Karan.
02:40Yeh asa toh nahi inna ke last season bol bol ke, you got all of us to do coffee with
02:45Karan.
02:45And then you'll say that Jio hot star ne bo la ke aakar season, the last season did so well.
02:52So Karan, come on, one last season and then again a last season and then again one more season.
02:57I promise you I'm not coming back.
02:59Sure.
03:00Okay.
03:00In the famous words, like I said, of a mega movie star, it's done, bro.
03:08It's done.
03:09All good things should come to an end.
03:11You'll still be doing Big Boss.
03:13I'll be off the grid.
03:14It's just the beginning for me.
03:16It's the beginning.
03:17As it should be, look at how good you're looking.
03:19So I'm going to start with an honest confession.
03:22No one gets me more stressed, nervous, and hyper than you.
03:25And I don't know why it hasn't changed.
03:27And I think...
03:27Is it because of you or is it because of somebody else?
03:30It's only me.
03:31See, I mean, right now you should not be stressed because everything is all good.
03:34It's been good for the longest time.
03:36Yeah.
03:36God willing.
03:37One point at a time, it was not good.
03:40So I could have understood that it was scared of me because of not you, because of Shah Rook.
03:50No, it was never because of that.
03:51No?
03:52It was never.
03:52Are you sure about that?
03:53I remember my first professional meeting with you was when I met you at Chunky's house.
04:00And I had been rejected by a couple of main lead actors.
04:04I'll tell you who all rejected you.
04:05I think Saif Ali Khan rejected you.
04:07Yeah.
04:09And I think some three, four more people.
04:12Yes, many others.
04:12And I was standing rather sad at Chunky's house.
04:17He had a house party.
04:18And you came up to me and your exact words were, you've been shopping.
04:23So I said yes.
04:25And he said, okay, come tomorrow and narrate your film to me.
04:28I said, where should I come?
04:30Because firstly, I couldn't believe you were even asking me to come to narrate the film.
04:34No, because Alvira had already informed me.
04:36Yeah.
04:37And you know how I feel about your mom and your dad.
04:39Yes.
04:40So I'm going to tell you a story of your dad, Sohel, and me.
04:44So Tom Uncle, we called him because he was very close to the government in Mauritius.
04:50Yes.
04:50So he shot some films there earlier.
04:53So we called him for, I think it was Hello Brother.
04:56Yes, yes.
04:56And we said, Tom Uncle, you're very close to the boys in Mauritius, the film industry and stuff like that.
05:02I think we wanted the airport or the airstrip and stuff like that.
05:06He said, yeah, okay, I'll see you in Mauritius.
05:08We spoke to him on a Tuesday.
05:11Wednesday night he has called up Sohel and me.
05:13And he said, yeah, what all did you want from here?
05:17I said, from where, Tom Uncle?
05:18He said, from Mauritius.
05:19I'm sitting in Mauritius.
05:20I'm sitting with the government and I'm speaking to them.
05:23So tell him what you want.
05:25He flew to Mauritius the next night to get this clear.
05:30Yeah.
05:31They don't make them like that anymore.
05:33No chance.
05:34And I remember my dad, Salim Sahib, Javed Sahib, together in my house, I have memories.
05:40And the fact that, you know, the relationship continues, I think that generation, they don't make like that anymore.
05:47And every time your father came home, calm home, nahi, I mean, calm to thai nahi uswakta.
05:51I think only Dostana, Dostana ke baad, kabhi kuchh kam nahi tha.
05:55Nahi.
05:55So every time he came home, he came home with an alcohol bottle for my father.
06:00Yeah.
06:01Yeah.
06:01That was him.
06:02And I remember that when I came to the set to narrate, you were shooting for Jab Pyaar Kisi Se
06:08Hota Hai.
06:09And I arrived at 2 p.m.
06:10You said 2 to 10 ka shift here.
06:12And then at 9 o'clock you said, come home and narrate the film to me.
06:16And you had Salman, just for everyone to know this, Salman stayed, like the family stayed together.
06:21There was Arbaaz, Suhail, Salman, Salma aunties, Salim Sahib, everyone.
06:25And you had the tiniest room.
06:27And you had one closet, one cupboard, one bed.
06:30And I was shocked because I'm like, this is Salman Khan's camera.
06:34And I entered and you sat there, you removed all your clothes and you were in yellow shorts.
06:38So I said, he should not think I'm looking at him in any other way.
06:42So I started narrating the film.
06:42But you know that room, I never stayed there alone.
06:45Yeah.
06:46I stayed there with somebody, jisko me na kabhi dekha hi nahi.
06:50Sif suna hai.
06:51Sif mahusus ki aai piche hai.
06:54Who?
06:56So every time I came out, the lights used to go on and off.
07:01What?
07:01Yeah, the cupboards used to open up.
07:03The music used to come on.
07:05Then the bathroom, I could feel somebody outside, you know, fidgeting with the cupboards.
07:09And I used to open it.
07:10And then I figured out that there was somebody there, something there.
07:13You felt it was like haunted?
07:15Yeah, yeah.
07:15No, not haunted.
07:16I mean, there was a presence felt there by me.
07:19And then so every time I put on some music and I could feel it right behind me.
07:24And I would say that, kya music sunna pasant kare ni haap?
07:27What kind of music?
07:28And I said, just press any button, I have to walk out.
07:31What?
07:31So there was a billiard table outside.
07:33Yeah.
07:33Earlier.
07:34Yeah, yeah.
07:34When we used to play billiards, we could hear, you know, somebody inside, a cupboard khul gya, music on ho
07:41gya.
07:41No, no.
07:42No?
07:43It didn't do anything.
07:44So my only request was that if you're a really, really beautiful woman, then you show yourself to me.
07:52But I narrated the first half of the film staring at another wall and you heard me, you were hearing
07:58me very intensely.
08:00And then you got up at interval and you said, okay, I'm doing the film.
08:04So I said, oh, and I got stressed because I'd only narrated Shah Rukh's part.
08:09There was no, you hadn't arrived.
08:11So I said, but Salman, your part hasn't yet come.
08:14But, you know, Karan, even before you had come to narrate it to me, no matter how bad it was,
08:21I had to confirm, I had to decide my mind, no matter how bad it is, I'm going to do
08:24it.
08:25That was a given.
08:26I mean, there was, there was nothing, you didn't even have to narrate the film to me.
08:29And you didn't have to do it.
08:30There was no reason for you to do it.
08:32No, this was the reason to do it because dad, your dad, your mom, my mom, Alvira, you guys, and
08:41so, and, yeah.
08:43So you got up and you said, what are you going to pay me?
08:48So I said, that's another thing.
08:50And you said, I'm not going to pay anything.
08:51Even then it was done.
08:52There's four, Tom, uncle, and his son.
08:55I don't, I don't even want money for guest appearance because I had already done so many guest appearances without
09:00any money.
09:01So this was not really a guest.
09:02This was 12 days of work.
09:03Yeah, but I've done 22 days of guest appearance.
09:05So that's, forget that.
09:08And you arrived and then you walked outside and you hadn't heard the second half.
09:11And there were a bunch of filmmakers sitting for their next meetings with you.
09:15And you walked outside and you said, what a second half he has written.
09:18And you hadn't heard the second half.
09:20And I was like, I was so flummoxed because I'd never experienced something like this.
09:24And then the funniest thing happened.
09:26We were, we started the schedule with Sarjanji Gharai.
09:28And you were doing a double shift in those days.
09:31You were shooting for Ham Dil Dejo Kisanam.
09:33BV number one and for Kuch Kuch.
09:36Okay, they were all simultaneous.
09:37You were shooting the Patang Waala Gaana.
09:38Yeah.
09:39And every day you would tell me, and this is really funny.
09:42Every day you would tell me, what a song Sanjay Leela Mansali is shooting.
09:45What a song.
09:47So I was like, anyway, it was my first film and I was getting very, because when I was shooting
09:51with Shah Rukh, he was telling me about Dil Se.
09:53And you were telling me about Ham Dil.
09:56So I was shooting the Patang Waala Gaana.
09:59I was shooting BV number one, BV number one.
10:02And then you were shooting Sanjay Dighar.
10:03And then I was shooting this one as well.
10:05Sanjay Dighar.
10:06So when I used to go to Sanjay said, I used to say, what a song Karan is shooting.
10:11And David, you know, what a song is shooting.
10:14And the funniest thing is one day Sanjay Mansali came on and said, looking up and down like that.
10:18And I'm thinking, what a song Karan is shooting.
10:23And Sanjay Mansali came on and said, he's like, you know, Salman told me you're shooting an outstanding song.
10:27I said, but he's telling me you're shooting an outstanding song.
10:30So it was really quite hilarious to see Mansali walk in, check out my set.
10:35While I really wanted to go and check out his Patang Waala Song Ke Ka Karanai.
10:38And you were, you were this person and you were just, like, it was crazy.
10:43And your DP and your DP, your.
10:45You know, and then the funniest thing happened.
10:47He shot the whole song in high speed.
10:48No, he shot one.
10:50You were going to catch a flight for Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai.
10:54It was a big outdo and it was our last shoot on set and climax.
10:59And this is the end of the film where there's Shah Rukh, there's Salman Khan, there's Rani Mukherjee as a
11:04ghost.
11:05There's Karjal, there's Reema Laguji, there's Anupam, there's Farida Jalal.
11:10Combination.
11:10And we shot an entire day in slow motion.
11:14Because the cameraman forgot to put the lever up to 24.
11:17Those days there, we couldn't tell it.
11:19I run to your house in the middle of the night and you're all ready to go to Switzerland.
11:23And I meet you and I said, Salman, please stay back one more day.
11:27We have shot an entire day in slow motion in 48 frames.
11:31And you laughed and you said, I'll see you tomorrow.
11:33And you arrived and we shot the whole day again.
11:35And every time you would face the camera, you would look at D.O.P. and say, 48 frames.
11:41You would say 48 frames.
11:42And like, you know, when I look at those days, Salman, like everybody had a certain togetherness,
11:49a certain kind of camaraderie, a certain fraternity feeling.
11:53Abhi wo neira.
11:54I mean, it's gone.
11:55Today, actors are dealing with publicists and PR and paparazzi.
11:59No, but depends on who actors you're talking about.
12:00With us, it's still the same.
12:02Yeah.
12:03With us, it's still the same.
12:04Nothing has changed.
12:05Even when the PR tells us, this is how you do it, this is how you do it.
12:09I say, you've just come into the industry.
12:11We've been here since, you know, decades.
12:15So now don't tell us what to do.
12:16Yeah.
12:17But what you've gone on record and spoken about trolling and spoken about the paparazzi culture
12:22and how they shoot images from certain angles.
12:25And you've been very vocal about it, Salman.
12:27And thank God for that.
12:28Because there's so much that is not right with what's going on.
12:31It's just getting out of hand.
12:33Look, when PR came, there's some people pay the PR for their sighting.
12:39or what are they called, sighting.
12:40It's called sighting, no?
12:41Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:41Airport loop, all that.
12:43So, and people, there's some people who want to do that stuff.
12:46I was not speaking about those kind of people.
12:49I was speaking for those people who don't want it.
12:52and they're really bad angles.
12:55And, you know, girls are uncomfortable.
12:59If you've made a phone, or if you've made a camera,
13:03if you've made a phone, if you've made a phone,
13:05then you'll get to see me.
13:06We're talking about all your lives.
13:09So, every guy who has a phone has a camera attached to it.
13:12And this always used to bother me.
13:15Guess who?
13:16Guess who?
13:17Then, where do you guess?
13:18Because they showed the back and said, guess who?
13:20Yeah, yeah.
13:21I mean, that's ridiculous.
13:22Is that a way of guessing anybody?
13:23It's not.
13:24Also, I think what's amazing to know,
13:28this particular year,
13:29we've seen Akshay give two solid successes.
13:33We've seen Ajay give Drishyam.
13:35We have two massive movies coming from your end.
13:39We have Shah Rukh ending the year with King.
13:41It's almost like this order of illustrious gentlemen,
13:46Akshay, Ajay, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan,
13:49just holding forth.
13:50Today, the biggest successes are still coming from all of you.
13:54What do you have to say about,
13:56is the other generation not matching up,
13:58or are you just not allowing them to?
14:00We're interested in our work.
14:02Yeah.
14:03We want to get out of our houses.
14:05We want to go on to the sets,
14:07and we want to do good work.
14:09Sometimes it turns out right.
14:11Sometimes it does not.
14:13But the films that we make
14:15are the films that every Hindustani
14:18would be comfortable to see with the whole family.
14:22That is one of the main reasons,
14:24and because we're interested in our work.
14:26Yeah.
14:26You know, most of the films sometimes,
14:27like, I see a vision, you know,
14:30that this is the way this film is going to turn out.
14:33But the director doesn't see it like that.
14:35Yeah.
14:35That is when the,
14:36the thoda bod garbar happens.
14:39When I mentioned Aamir just now,
14:41an interesting line that came up,
14:42when I was reading all the interviews in my research,
14:45Aamir said,
14:46I'm going to tie Salman's hand and feet
14:49and get him married.
14:50And then you said,
14:51much after that,
14:52said that,
14:53I'm going to tie his hand and feet
14:54and make sure he never gets married again.
14:56but he's married now for the third time.
14:58You're still not married.
14:59I'm happy for him.
15:00Yes.
15:00I'm happy for him.
15:01Yeah.
15:01And you?
15:02Yeah.
15:02Me?
15:03What about me?
15:04I'm doing fine.
15:05You're fine?
15:06I'm fine.
15:06Are you still a virgin?
15:09Yeah, that was a way of saying,
15:11Karan,
15:11that I don't want to talk about it.
15:13That was the way of saying it
15:14because you keep on saying
15:16that you're dating so and so and so and so and so and so.
15:18You don't want to talk about it.
15:19Yeah,
15:19I never want to talk about it
15:21because, you know,
15:21you never know that this is the person
15:23who's going to be in your life
15:25for the rest of your life.
15:27And that person goes ahead
15:28and gets married with somebody else.
15:31So I've always had this
15:32in the time I was 15, 16 years of age.
15:36I've seen from my father
15:37that, yeah,
15:38yeah, person like bedroom,
15:40bedroom,
15:41living room,
15:48but does it feel like Salman
15:50that Salman Khan
15:51is such a big phenomenon?
15:53Who is it?
15:54Who is it?
15:55You have a family.
15:57Yeah, I would put a...
15:58Like, I know I'm lonely
15:59because I don't have a partner.
16:01No, but you have kids.
16:03You have a mother.
16:04Yeah.
16:04You know,
16:05so I mean,
16:06you are fortunate.
16:07I'm lonely is when
16:09nobody wants to be with you, Karan.
16:11I don't think
16:12that people don't want to be with you.
16:14Do you miss having children of your own?
16:16No, of course,
16:17I will have children
16:17at some given point of time.
16:19You will?
16:19Yes, of course,
16:20I will have children.
16:20Because that was a big blessing for me.
16:22Yeah.
16:22I feel so...
16:23That's the most amazing thing
16:24and I was really happy for you
16:25when you did that.
16:26Yeah.
16:27Yeah.
16:27Yeah, because...
16:28And so you can never say
16:29that I'm lonely.
16:30You have two beautiful kids
16:31and then they will grow up
16:32and they will have girlfriend
16:33and boyfriend
16:35that will get married
16:36and settle down.
16:37They will have children.
16:37You'll be Grandpa Karan.
16:41Huh?
16:42No, but I just feel like
16:43we've seen our parents
16:44in marriages
16:45and who've been partners
16:46to each other.
16:47Sometimes I just feel like...
16:48stopped you from that, Karan.
16:49Eh, somehow, sometimes...
16:51Don't you stop me either.
16:52It's just that you stopped yourself
16:54and I have stopped myself.
16:55Yes, that's true.
16:56So you cannot be complaining
16:57that I wanted this
17:00and the whole world went against me
17:02and that is the reason
17:03why I could not be with a partner.
17:07I can't blame anyone.
17:08It's my decision
17:09and I am happy with that decision.
17:11But yes, kids will come in.
17:14Saman, you have amassed
17:16the most incredible love
17:19within the industry.
17:20People who have come
17:21in contact with you
17:23and the lives that you've touched
17:25in the journey
17:26has been beyond
17:27what words can describe.
17:28I have some people
17:29who'd like to say something
17:31about you to you.
17:32Let's have a look.
17:33If I had to describe Salman Khan
17:34in one word,
17:35it would be...
17:39Icon.
17:40Hey, Mamu.
17:42I love you, man.
17:44I love you.
17:45I call him Bhaij.
17:46Hi, Bhaij.
17:47How are you?
17:48I'm good, Bhaij.
17:49I'm good, Bhaij.
17:50You know, when I used to go
17:51and meet Salim Sahib,
17:52I used to see Salman working out.
17:54Since then, you know,
17:55we've had this amazing relationship.
17:57We're like family, all of us.
17:59I mean, the bond you shared
18:00with my papa was just so amazing.
18:03You know, he loved you
18:04like his son.
18:06And yes, there's so many similarities
18:09between you and him.
18:11He always said that.
18:13Bhaijaan and me,
18:14you know, we are the bad boys
18:15of the industry.
18:16For me, he's my biggest inspiration
18:18to be an actor,
18:20to be a better son,
18:20to be fitter.
18:22He's an industry man.
18:23When the going gets tough,
18:24Salman Khan gets going.
18:26He stands for people, you know.
18:28When they need it the most,
18:29he's there.
18:30We were shooting for dust
18:31and this,
18:33we were rigged onto a helicopter
18:35and the helicopter was supposed
18:36to fly and go down
18:38into the water
18:38and it was a reverse shot,
18:40you know.
18:40So I was hanging out.
18:41He was hanging half out.
18:43I was out.
18:44So I started feeling my rig.
18:47So I started shouting,
18:50I said,
18:50Bhaijaan,
18:50I held his leg so tight.
18:55You know,
18:56I felt I'd fall,
18:57you know,
18:57and it was hilarious.
18:59I still remember the night
19:00when we had gone
19:01in 2000 for shows
19:02and something happened
19:05and you got upset with me
19:07and I walked off
19:08and then you came chasing
19:09behind me
19:10and you sat with me
19:11and we sat on the pavement
19:12and we chatted for so long
19:14and you were so warm
19:16and nice and loving.
19:17I still remember that.
19:19His contribution
19:20to my dad's career,
19:21it's paramount.
19:23And the biggest thing
19:23he gave my dad
19:24was loved
19:24and when I got successful,
19:27he was the first one
19:28to call,
19:29the first one to stand
19:29when I was nothing
19:30and Meite Rahirovi came
19:31and dubbed out of nowhere.
19:33He loves kids himself,
19:35you know.
19:35You know,
19:35we want them to be settled.
19:37We should also have a small child,
19:38a small child,
19:39a small child,
19:39a small child.
19:41We should give him
19:41a little child.
19:42Actually,
19:44why do we have to marry
19:44and marry?
19:46We all are married.
19:48We are married.
19:49We are married.
19:49We are married.
19:51They can never be
19:52someone like you,
19:53Salmanan.
19:54You are just amazing
19:55and thank you for everything.
19:57You have done not just for me
19:58but for so many,
19:59many people around.
20:00We love you.
20:01The Dhawans love you,
20:02bhai.
20:02And I will always be proud of you
20:04and I love you.
20:05Dil se.
20:06Always.
20:08And when you are in life,
20:09you have a big brother.
20:12Always.
20:13Always.
20:14What does it make you feel?
20:16Yes,
20:16so I will tell you,
20:17this doesn't come from us.
20:18I mean,
20:19this has come from
20:20my father and my mother.
20:22So I remember that
20:23there was a time
20:24when dad was struggling
20:26and he just left everything
20:27in Indor.
20:28Sab chowd chowd ke a gaye thai.
20:30And he's working
20:31for 750 rupees.
20:32And then,
20:33so then one friend of his
20:34came and there was like a,
20:36when they were in Indor,
20:37they used to have this
20:38eating competition
20:39and there was no food at home.
20:41toh mammy ne jo bhi tha,
20:43woh bana ya,
20:44phir woh shorve mein aur paani dal dia
20:46and he kept on eating,
20:47eating,
20:48eating,
20:48eating,
20:48eating.
20:49And eventually,
20:50it's atna ye ke,
20:51or nahi hai,
20:52it's ahaa ek chiz hai.
20:53And I think,
20:54Sohail was about six months old.
20:56Isi mere chhe mahine ka bacha hai.
20:59Hisko kha ja, Salih.
21:02Yeah,
21:02but it's obviously coming
21:04from the goodwill that.
21:06Yeah, so I mean,
21:06even at that given point of time,
21:09they were still giving away
21:11in their limits at that
21:12when we didn't have much,
21:14you know,
21:14and we learned that
21:15from our neighbors as well,
21:17from Mr. Goodino,
21:18Mrs. Goodino.
21:19Our tea used to be there
21:20because there was no money
21:22at that point of time.
21:23But,
21:24that dad's hand
21:25has always been like this.
21:28You know,
21:28and so has mom's.
21:30Recently,
21:30we spoke about it,
21:32you went on Big Boss
21:33and created the most viral moment
21:35where you removed your shirt
21:36and you were making a statement.
21:37It's not that you were
21:38showing yourself off.
21:40You were making a statement
21:41in anger
21:42and in,
21:43not in protest,
21:44but you were making a statement.
21:45Frustration.
21:46A point.
21:48No.
21:49But then.
21:49It was anger.
21:50It was anger.
21:51I know it was anger.
21:51Anger was it.
21:52You felt it.
21:53Frustration, anger.
21:54It was,
21:54it was,
21:55yeah,
21:56I mean.
21:56But,
21:57what struck me
21:58is I remember
21:59passing a signal
22:02and watching in 1988
22:04because I had just
22:05given my board exam
22:07and the film was
22:08Mene Pyaar Kya.
22:09And I passed the Maheem Junction
22:12and I saw this poster
22:14of a leading man
22:15and a leading actress
22:17who were new
22:17and they were coming in
22:18a Suraj Barjatyah film
22:20who was Rachi films.
22:21That was it.
22:21And what realized here
22:22that there was a shirtless revolution
22:25that began
22:25that almost can track your career.
22:28Because it began here
22:29and then it went on
22:30to Oh Oh Jana Jana
22:32which was like
22:33defined the gym culture
22:35of our times.
22:36Then you do this
22:37in Wanted
22:37after many, many years
22:38and you create this culture
22:40that goes on to Dabang
22:42and that goes
22:43into
22:44the most unusual take
22:46on a shirtless image
22:47which is in Sultan
22:48where you had no
22:50holding back
22:50on showing
22:51this body
22:52which you did
22:53with Abandon
22:53as an artist and actor.
22:55And that goes straight
22:56into this clip
22:57that went viral
22:58to every motor.
23:01To the brother
23:01told.
23:02Don't tell me.
23:03Don't tell me.
23:04Don't tell me.
23:04Tell me.
23:06I'm so annoyed.
23:07He's so annoyed.
23:08Help!
23:14How do you look like
23:15this at 61?
23:15A lot of hard work.
23:16A lot of sacrifices.
23:18And every good thing
23:19has improved
23:20and every bad thing
23:21has reduced.
23:23I understand.
23:23See for the people
23:24who have been
23:25diehard fans
23:26of the shirtless me
23:28there was a phase
23:30in my life
23:31right now
23:31because of a lot
23:32of injuries
23:32and stuff like that.
23:33Yeah, yeah, yeah.
23:34You know,
23:34it was unfair on them.
23:36No matter how old
23:37you are,
23:37it is unfair on them
23:39to see me like that.
23:40Okay?
23:41Had ribs broken
23:42and then some hernia
23:44hernia had some stuff
23:45here and a shoulder
23:47messed up.
23:48And this all came
23:48in from Sultan onwards.
23:50Knee and back
23:52and then the
23:53trigeminal neuralgia
23:54and the aneurysm.
23:55But that is not
23:57any justification
23:58for how I was
24:00looking then.
24:01You know?
24:02So there is
24:03that thing that
24:04I shouldn't have
24:06let go for that time.
24:07No matter what
24:07my struggle is
24:08you know,
24:09with my own physicality
24:11I shouldn't have
24:11let go with that
24:12because there are
24:13a lot of people
24:13who get inspired
24:15you know,
24:17by me.
24:17The older generation,
24:18the younger generation,
24:20you know,
24:20people who have
24:21grown up in me
24:22and they've got kids
24:23and they see me like this
24:24at the age of 60
24:25so they say,
24:27Dad,
24:27if he's looking like this,
24:29you know,
24:29why can't you look like that?
24:30And then
24:31there are some people
24:32that I see
24:32who are 10 times
24:34fitter than I am.
24:34So I look at them,
24:36I get inspired by them
24:37and I go to the gym.
24:38But this was not
24:39this taking the shirt off
24:41was not that
24:42they're trolling me.
24:43Yeah.
24:43They're trolling
24:44how do they know
24:46what I am going
24:47to do next?
24:48No, they don't.
24:49So I will take
24:50that energy
24:51and I'll convert it
24:53into positivity
24:54for me.
24:55And the ones
24:56who give me
24:56the positive one,
24:57I will make sure
24:59that when they see
25:00me next time,
25:01they will see me
25:01better than the last time.
25:03No, but it's incredible.
25:04So I have a confession
25:05to make.
25:05I was a Salman Khan fan
25:07not because he looked
25:08gorgeous shirtless
25:09but also because
25:10there was an incredible
25:11aura that you emanated.
25:12It's majestic.
25:14There's nothing
25:14that you can do about it.
25:15It's been great.
25:16Yeah.
25:17Been very kind.
25:18Karan,
25:19you always say
25:19coffee with Karan
25:20and you don't say
25:21coffee?
25:22You drink coffee?
25:23Where do you drink?
25:24It's cold.
25:25Coffee?
25:25No, but coffee
25:26reminds me,
25:27we've had a journey.
25:28This is the third
25:29appearance you're making
25:30and I'm grateful for that.
25:31but it's not gone
25:33unnoticed
25:34that you have been
25:35the phenomena you are.
25:37On our coffee journey,
25:38I don't think
25:38there's been a single
25:39episode where you
25:40haven't been mentioned.
25:41Let's have a look.
25:48Are you saying
25:48you're a virgin?
25:49Yes.
25:51You're a virgin.
25:52If you were on a boat
25:53with Shah Rukh Khan
25:54and Salman
25:55and there was just
25:56one place,
25:57who would you push out?
25:58Salman.
25:59Because my brother
25:59will never be
26:00going to be
26:01What would biopics
26:02on the following
26:03be called?
26:04Yourself?
26:05I think my biopic
26:06should be called
26:06And if it was
26:07Salman's biopic?
26:08I'll be back again.
26:09I'll be back again.
26:10and I'll be back again.
26:11Yeah.
26:11Shah Rukh Salman Aamir
26:13your favourite Khan?
26:13As an actor,
26:14I prefer Salman.
26:15Salman.
26:16Salman.
26:17Salman.
26:18Salman.
26:19Salman.
26:19Salman.
26:19Salman is my favourite.
26:21Salman Khan.
26:21Oh, oh, janejana.
26:26Damn it!
26:28Do you think
26:28you're an average actor?
26:29I think I'm
26:30below average actor.
26:31I've seen
26:31Salman doing
26:32some very good work
26:33and I always felt
26:34why doesn't this
26:35actor get his due?
26:36Which actor or actress
26:37can cry
26:38at the drop of a hat?
26:39Salman.
26:39Yeah, like that.
26:40Like that.
26:41He's joking,
26:42he's laughing
26:42and suddenly
26:43there's action
26:43and boom,
26:44tears can come out.
26:45Yoring takes
26:46by would always
26:47in the evening
26:48he would always
26:49chill.
26:50It was really good
26:51to all the kids.
26:52I had gone to
26:53Filmistan
26:54so I'd gotten out
26:55of the car
26:55I was heading
26:55into the studio
26:56and from across
26:56the thing
26:56he was sitting
26:57outside his van
26:57and he was like
26:57Imran, come here.
26:58Can you eat it?
26:59Sit.
26:59He sat me down
27:00put a plate in front of me
27:01suddenly these
27:01huge dishes of food
27:02are brought out
27:03and he sits over me
27:03like this
27:04and as I'm eating
27:05he keeps serving me
27:06so the more I eat
27:06the more food
27:07there is on my plate
27:08and he wouldn't
27:08let me go until
27:09I finished it all.
27:09Three things
27:10no one knows about you.
27:11I'm a great guy,
27:12great guy,
27:13great guy.
27:14And you're good
27:14in bed or something
27:15like that?
27:17Who in the industry
27:18according to you
27:19could never win
27:20How do you feel
27:20when you see yourself
27:21saying all these things?
27:22No, I'm so awkward.
27:23Salman Khan.
27:25Who's the last person
27:26you would go to
27:26for relationship advice?
27:27Salman Khan.
27:28When are you married?
27:29No, no, no.
27:35Couch, please.
27:36If I'm off screen.
27:37Who's more entertaining?
27:38Off screen.
27:41Who looks best shirtless?
27:43Salman.
27:44I forget my lines
27:46when he looks into my eyes.
27:47Salman.
27:47Dude, he's something else.
27:49Yeah, kind of.
27:50You woke up one morning
27:51and realized
27:51that you had turned
27:52into Salman Khan.
27:53You would?
27:54I would be really happy.
27:55He fears nothing
27:56and I think
27:57I really honestly think
27:58everyone in life
27:59wants to be fearless.
28:00The best and worst part
28:01of being Salman Khan.
28:02You're in trouble
28:03all the time.
28:04Is the worst part?
28:05No, that's the good part.
28:07Not being able
28:08to get out of it
28:09is a problem.
28:09The first word
28:10that comes to your mind
28:10when I say
28:11Salman Khan.
28:12Dabang.
28:13A recent film
28:13that you wish
28:14was yours.
28:15Dabang.
28:19The name of
28:20the dog
28:21in Hamaapkeha Khan.
28:24Tafi.
28:25Tafi.
28:27But the last time
28:28you came
28:28and you made
28:29that one line
28:29so famous
28:30where you said
28:31you were a virgin
28:31on national television.
28:32Nothing has changed.
28:33You're still a virgin.
28:34Nothing has changed.
28:35I cannot ask you
28:36like you were good in bed
28:38like how have I
28:38gotten away with this
28:39and why didn't you slap me?
28:40Yeah, when I see
28:41my stuff also
28:42when I've said
28:43some things earlier
28:44like the virgin thing
28:45even I cringe
28:46but that's fine.
28:46That was then.
28:47Move on.
28:48Don't carry your past
28:50with you.
28:50Live in the future.
28:51Don't live in the future.
28:52Live in the present.
28:54Make your present.
28:55Your future is sorted.
28:55When I see these
28:56excerpts Salman
28:57you seem so different
28:59and so much more like
29:01what is the word
29:02like more zen-like
29:03more like composed
29:04like a life lived.
29:06Live you mean
29:06less energy.
29:07No, not less energy.
29:09I don't mean that.
29:09I mean a lot more
29:10just a lot more composed
29:12and yet
29:13See, the thing is
29:14that all the advices
29:16that I've given
29:16quite serious advices
29:18there has come a time
29:20for me to follow
29:21my own advices.
29:24And you feel
29:24this is the time?
29:26So you give advices
29:27and you realize
29:28that I told you
29:29that I didn't do this
29:31so I've always done
29:35if I've said something
29:36and given advice
29:38I make sure
29:39that I follow that as well.
29:41My advice is
29:43that when we do
29:45the next round
29:46which is the rapid fire round
29:47that we actually
29:49do something different
29:50with it this time.
29:51Sure.
29:52I've done it once before
29:53only with Aamir
29:54and I'm doing it again
29:55on the last season
29:56where I compete
29:58with my guest
29:59for the rapid fire round.
30:01Oh, lovely.
30:02And we
30:02Here's the hamper
30:03you'll have to go
30:03and you'll have to fight
30:05for hamper.
30:07Why do I fight for hamper?
30:08Karan, hamper.
30:09Who will you fight?
30:10I'll fight for hamper.
30:12Hamper?
30:15But hamper
30:16will come to your life
30:16and you'll have to
30:17be a child.
30:19No one can make me happier.
30:21if you have kids
30:22of your own.
30:22We need like
30:23Sanju Baba said
30:24we need many more
30:25chota sarmaans
30:26in this world.
30:27So we have
30:28we have a special
30:30someone who is
30:31very dear to you
30:32very dear to me
30:33but very dear to you
30:34because not only
30:34have you worked
30:35with her
30:35in nearly
30:37nine movies
30:38and then some others
30:39in smaller parts
30:40but she's somebody
30:41who
30:42No, seriously?
30:43Yes.
30:44No way.
30:45No way meaning
30:46I don't know
30:46who you're expecting.
30:47I know who you're
30:48talking about.
30:49You know who I'm
30:50If you give it away
30:51like this
30:51nine and thirteen movies
30:53I'll tell you.
30:54Thirteen movies?
30:54Yeah, I think
30:55so around
30:55thirteen movies.
30:56And she's been
30:57very kind
30:57to come to do this.
30:59She will conduct
30:59the rapid fire round.
31:01She's so much of fun.
31:02I love her.
31:03between you and me.
31:05And the energy
31:06that you're talking about
31:07with her
31:08it's not changed at all.
31:09She's still the same.
31:11How you guessed
31:12who she was?
31:12I know who you're
31:13talking about Karan.
31:14Okay.
31:15Still I want it
31:15to be a surprise
31:16for the people
31:17who may not have guessed.
31:18Please let's welcome her
31:20with all love
31:21in our hearts.
31:22Come on Lolo.
31:24My God.
31:27Hello.
31:30Hi.
31:37Guys, I'm only here
31:39because you two
31:39are my favourite
31:41people.
31:42You don't have to
31:43include one.
31:43He knows that.
31:44He knows that.
31:44You don't have to
31:45include one.
31:45You don't want to be
31:46here for Shah Rukh
31:46or for Aamira.
31:47Oh, nothing like that.
31:48No, no.
31:49Same line you used
31:51then also, na.
31:52No, no.
31:54This is...
31:54Naughty boy always.
31:56Naughty boy?
31:56Has he always been?
31:57Always, always.
32:00Listen.
32:01How many films
32:01Lolo?
32:02We're back.
32:0211, they were
32:03just telling you.
32:0411 movies.
32:06My God.
32:07So that whole chunk,
32:08Karan, was from one
32:10set to another, to another,
32:11to another, to another,
32:12to another.
32:13It's just Lolo and me.
32:14Yeah.
32:15You all have done
32:15double shifts on the
32:16same day in two
32:16different movies.
32:17Meaning we have done
32:18double shifts and
32:19after that we've gone
32:20and performed on
32:21shows.
32:22Yeah.
32:22After two, two shows?
32:24Yes.
32:24Film city, somewhere else
32:25and then we went to
32:26Thane, remember?
32:29After that, to do a show?
32:30Yes.
32:31Like our bag used to
32:31be packed and we
32:32would just go, spend
32:33days and days and
32:34days together, working
32:35really hard.
32:36And she said something
32:36interesting to me when
32:37I asked her.
32:38She said, you know,
32:38when people say that
32:40two people in the
32:41industry are close,
32:42there's always something
32:43with this.
32:43She's saying, I can
32:44proudly say this is
32:45one platonic
32:46friendship.
32:46He's lying.
32:47What?
32:48Oh my God, what is
32:49he saying?
32:51See, this is what he
32:52does.
32:53This is what he
32:53does.
32:54She's lying.
32:56The longest living
32:57affair.
33:00You're just giving
33:01them a lot of
33:02content.
33:03No, that's great.
33:04She left me and
33:04got married.
33:04We love it.
33:05I was so heartbroken.
33:07Were you really
33:07heartbroken?
33:09See, this is what
33:10he does to me.
33:11This, this, this.
33:12She also told me
33:13something fun where
33:15she said that you
33:15really pulled her
33:16leg one day and
33:17told her that
33:18convinced her that
33:18BV number one.
33:19So, I first, I
33:22firstly, I want to
33:23tell you how we
33:23became friends.
33:25Tell me.
33:25The lifelong bond.
33:26I mean, it's been
33:2736 years.
33:291990.
33:30Okay, I have
33:30PRed our release in
33:3189.
33:32Craze, craze of the
33:33nation.
33:34And I was like 16
33:36practicing and learning
33:37at Saroj Khan's
33:37dance class in
33:38Satyam Hall.
33:39And Salman Khan was
33:41there rehearsing, I
33:42think, for some song
33:43in Baagi.
33:43And I was dying to
33:44get a glimpse of him.
33:48And then one day I
33:50was exiting and there
33:51Salman was sitting
33:52down in his purple
33:54pants that later
33:55became a craze, but he
33:56was wearing it way back
33:57then, you know, white
33:59gunji.
33:59And I froze and he's
34:00like, hey, you're the
34:02uncle's daughter,
34:03and I was like, oh my God,
34:05this is Salman Khan asking
34:06me.
34:07And that time Salim
34:07uncle and papa were very
34:09good friends.
34:09Yeah, yeah, they should
34:10drink together.
34:11I've been watching you.
34:12You've been doing a good
34:13job, working very hard, and
34:15he gave me a chocolate bar.
34:17Yeah.
34:17Ever since then, that bond
34:19has been forever.
34:20Yes.
34:21He was eating a chocolate.
34:22I don't think anybody knows
34:23that Salman has a sweet tooth
34:25like me.
34:25He loves eating chocolate.
34:27Oh my God.
34:27And then...
34:28He gave me that.
34:29Oh my God.
34:29Remember in the middle of the
34:31night, our shootings and all,
34:32how that one, somebody else,
34:34and only chocolates.
34:35Only both of us.
34:36And in Switzerland, in the
34:38bus, in the freezing cold,
34:39everybody used to be eating
34:40breakfast and whatever.
34:42And SK used to have this big
34:44packet full of chocolates.
34:47His breakfast used to be
34:48chocolates.
34:49What?
34:49We have worked in our
34:50songs and all in Switzerland.
34:53He used to eat chocolate
34:53for breakfast.
34:54We used to fight a lot also.
34:57Why?
34:58So, during Dullanaam Le Jaienge,
35:00the iconic outfit.
35:01Yeah, yeah.
35:02Very excited with my fashion
35:04and, you know, this and that
35:05and all to kill it.
35:06He's like,
35:08what are you wearing?
35:09I'm like, what?
35:11I mean, I've worked so hard
35:12on this outfit.
35:13What do you mean?
35:14No, I'll not give this shot
35:15with you looking like this.
35:17And I had to go and
35:18complain to David G.
35:20That SK is not letting me
35:21wear this outfit.
35:22Please tell him.
35:23Why? Because it was
35:23overtly sexy.
35:24Yeah, I mean, he thought
35:25it was too open and too
35:27clingy.
35:27No, no, no.
35:28It was clingy and all that
35:28okay.
35:29So, what had happened...
35:31He was not liking that.
35:32No, no, here, na.
35:33So, this is here.
35:34This is here.
35:35It's here.
35:35It's here.
35:36Stop it.
35:36What rubbish.
35:37Yeah, yeah.
35:37So, I used to keep on
35:39asking you to get it
35:40down before we take.
35:41This was all sheer type
35:43transparent.
35:44Yeah, it was sheer.
35:44So, here it was
35:45okay.
35:45But here it was
35:46not anywhere.
35:47Stop it.
35:48Don't talk rubbish.
35:50So, that is why
35:51I used to keep on...
35:51I used to pull it down
35:52every shot.
35:54Then a hairdresser...
35:55He used to be very
35:55protective.
35:56...and all this to make
35:57sure that...
35:58And that whole thing
35:59was all that.
36:00He's like,
36:00go and change this.
36:01I don't like this outfit.
36:03So, he used to fight a lot.
36:04But it was iconic.
36:06You look so hot.
36:07And how did he pull your leg
36:08on BV No. 1?
36:09Oh, my God.
36:10So, obviously,
36:11firstly, throughout,
36:12he would tease me.
36:13I'd be like,
36:14Salman, give me one more
36:15take now.
36:16Why?
36:16You want to be No. 1?
36:18You want to be top hero?
36:19And I was like,
36:19yes, please, please.
36:21He'd be like,
36:22okay, one more.
36:23Okay, he would tease me
36:24to give me one more.
36:24Then, you know,
36:26working so hard,
36:28all of us,
36:28finally,
36:29David G gave me
36:30this title role,
36:31BV No. 1,
36:31and Salman was nice enough
36:33to, you know,
36:34be part of that
36:35big film and everything.
36:36And we were shooting
36:37for Oh, Mr. Raja,
36:38that song,
36:40in Dullanam Le Jai,
36:40in Switzerland.
36:41And that time,
36:43BV No. 1 released
36:44with the World Cup
36:46cricket match.
36:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
36:47So, you're busy
36:48with the song,
36:48and he's like,
36:49in the break,
36:50come here,
36:51come and sit down.
36:53I was like,
36:53yeah, what happened?
36:54Are you okay, right?
36:55I need to tell you something.
36:57Because, you know,
36:57BV No. 1's released today,
36:59and opening only.
37:02And there,
37:03from there onwards,
37:04I was crying.
37:06Like this.
37:07Like this.
37:07And he's going on and on.
37:08I understand how you feel.
37:10And he made
37:11David G and Rumi Jafri,
37:12who's the writer of the film,
37:13also do this acting.
37:14I was like,
37:15Oh, my God,
37:15look at them.
37:16Crying,
37:17and suddenly he starts laughing.
37:18Oh, my God,
37:19it's become a blockbuster.
37:20I was like,
37:21what the hell?
37:22How could you do this to me?
37:24He was pulling your leg.
37:25He was pulling my leg.
37:26No, but Lola was amazing.
37:29Amazing.
37:30The most hardworking actor
37:32that I have ever seen
37:33is her.
37:35Yeah, that she is.
37:36That she is.
37:36And, and,
37:37um,
37:38hair, makeup,
37:39in like five minutes,
37:40she's out.
37:41Dress change means
37:42that she goes out
37:43back on set.
37:44And earlier,
37:45we never used to have
37:46those vans
37:46or those,
37:47you know,
37:48those makeup rooms.
37:50Yeah,
37:50I remember in Switzerland,
37:58I remember because
37:59my assistant days
38:01were on Dilwale Dolania.
38:02We used to all be in that bus.
38:04Yeah.
38:04Triton.
38:05Yeah, Triton.
38:06Triton was the main guy there.
38:11And like there was no such thing
38:16like
38:17wrecking,
38:18scout,
38:19nothing.
38:19We used to stop,
38:22shoot,
38:23and go back into that bus.
38:24And I remember the loo.
38:26I like the loo
38:26was the biggest problem
38:27because Triton used to not
38:28allow you to use that bathroom.
38:30So we're all going behind trees
38:31and it was like a crazy time.
38:33Today when I think
38:34of the entourage,
38:35which comes from,
38:36it wasn't anyone.
38:37No, no, no.
38:38Even nothing,
38:39I'm telling you,
38:39us.
38:40And the work was better.
38:42The songs were better.
38:43Everything was better.
38:44People were more beautiful.
38:46And those songs
38:47were just done,
38:48made on instinct
38:49and just feel.
38:51We just go and shoot.
38:52And he used to give me
38:53that one more.
38:54For me.
38:54For you.
38:55But has he given you
38:56any specific relationship
38:58and love advice
38:59that you followed?
39:01Bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo, bolo.
39:03Um, yes.
39:05So have I given him
39:06but both of us
39:07didn't listen.
39:08And what about you?
39:09Has she given you
39:10relationship advice?
39:11Yeah, she never liked anyone.
39:13What?
39:14Listen, this is rubbish.
39:16Take that back.
39:17On coffee,
39:17take that back right now.
39:19Take it back.
39:20Take it back.
39:20Again, again, loudly.
39:21Okay, I take it back.
39:22I take it back.
39:23Okay.
39:25Who did not like that?
39:26That's rubbish.
39:27But that point of time,
39:28that point of time,
39:29come on,
39:29near Lolo.
39:30That point of time.
39:31Oh my God, listen.
39:32He's just getting me
39:33into some rubbish.
39:34Which heroine?
39:34Which heroine?
39:35That point of time.
39:36You just shut up.
39:37I have given him
39:38very good advice.
39:40I have given him
39:41lots of good advice
39:42which he has
39:43absolutely not listened to.
39:44But yes,
39:44but she has.
39:45She has.
39:45She has.
39:45She has.
39:46She has.
39:47So she's been there
39:48in times of duress
39:49and times of celebration
39:50both.
39:51Yes, I think both of us.
39:52So what is the thought
39:53that comes to your mind
39:54when I say Lolo to you?
39:55What is the first word
39:56that comes to your mind?
39:58Yeah.
39:59See?
40:00Yeah.
40:00Bro code.
40:01Bro code.
40:01Bro code.
40:02So there's love
40:03in your heart for you.
40:04You'll always be.
40:04Has always been there.
40:05Yeah.
40:06Which is why
40:06I so wanted Lolo
40:08to come to conduct
40:09a rare rapid fire round.
40:11I'm too excited for this.
40:12Yes.
40:13That where you read out
40:14the rapid fire questions
40:15first to Salman
40:16then to me
40:16and then you decide
40:17the winner.
40:18Absolutely.
40:19Are you ready?
40:19Are you ready?
40:20I am ready.
40:21All right.
40:22So are you ready
40:22to come on the hot seat?
40:23Absolutely.
40:24All right.
40:25Before that,
40:26let's switch on
40:27the Jackowa lights
40:28for the rapid fire round.
40:29Nice.
40:31Wow.
40:32Amazing.
40:32The mood is set.
40:34The mood is set.
40:35Ma'am.
40:36Yes.
40:36The seat is all yours.
40:39Wow.
40:40We start with Salman.
40:42SK, are you ready?
40:43I'm ready.
40:44Oh my God.
40:45Name one actor
40:46apart from you
40:46who looks good
40:47without a shirt.
40:48Oh, there's so many of them.
40:50Okay.
40:50Name one.
40:51Shalak right now
40:51is looking damn good
40:52without a shirt.
40:53Aamir looked very good.
40:54Okay, they're very diplomat, sir.
40:56No, no, no.
40:56I'm telling everyone.
40:58Hrithik looks good.
40:59Tiger looks good.
41:00Ranbeed looks good.
41:01Ranbeed looks good.
41:02Ajay looks damn good.
41:03Sanjay looks good.
41:05So then Anil Kapoor
41:06is looking good only.
41:07There are three or four names
41:08left.
41:09Some names you left.
41:10No, but they're all looking good.
41:11I mean, they're all
41:11They're looking good.
41:13Okay, okay.
41:14I mean, they're looking
41:15prime.
41:16Okay.
41:17Which film in your filmography
41:19are you proudest of?
41:21My first one.
41:22Manipi Arkiya.
41:23Which was the most
41:24impactful performance?
41:26Ranveer in Dhurandar
41:27or Ranbir in Animal?
41:29Two different kind of
41:30performances.
41:31You cannot compare
41:32any of them.
41:33Again, diplomatic answer.
41:34There's no diplomatic at all.
41:35Please choose one.
41:36They are fantastic actors.
41:38One has got tremendous
41:38amount of energy.
41:39One has got
41:40tremendous amount
41:41of intensity.
41:42Both have different
41:43styles of acting.
41:44So you cannot, cannot
41:46and especially for
41:47Ranveer in Dhurandar
41:49had to control
41:51all his energy,
41:52all his,
41:53I mean,
41:54what he does,
41:55he does everything
41:56larger than life
41:57and he had to
41:58control that
41:59big time.
42:00so for an actor
42:01that's a huge amount
42:02of insecurity
42:03that he didn't have
42:05in the film
42:06and he was very secure
42:07as an actor
42:08and in that role
42:09for Dhurandar.
42:10Correct.
42:11Well said.
42:12What's your biggest
42:13personal regret?
42:14I have none.
42:15One perhaps now
42:17that wish I had
42:17this kind of experience
42:19at that given point
42:20of time.
42:21Good answer.
42:23One word that comes
42:24Which I don't believe in.
42:28Okay.
42:29One word that comes
42:30to your mind
42:31for each.
42:32Shah Rukh Khan.
42:33So many words.
42:34Brother.
42:35Brother.
42:36Aamir Khan.
42:37This is a brother.
42:38This is a brother.
42:39Second brother.
42:40A brother.
42:41Akshay Kumar.
42:42No, Akshay,
42:43I'll need to slightly,
42:46Akshay,
42:47you've worked with Akshay
42:47a lot.
42:48I've worked with Akshay
42:48a lot.
42:49Akshay,
42:50it's not in a person
42:50to give a person.
42:53Akshay,
42:53it means no gossip,
42:55it will not do anything
42:57or go to home.
42:58He is the only one actor
43:01who has grown.
43:03Grown means
43:04by leaps and bounds
43:05and I see his work
43:07that he's doing right now
43:08and I say,
43:09how are you doing this?
43:12He is something else
43:15right now
43:15and the way he's looking.
43:17Ajay Devgani.
43:18Again,
43:18he's like a brother,
43:19he's a friend
43:20and I don't think
43:21that anyone
43:22can beat Ajay
43:23in intense roles
43:24and he manages
43:25comedy very well
43:27in that same
43:28format of
43:29not leaving.
43:30He can do a Drisha
43:32and a Golma.
43:32Yeah, yeah.
43:33I mean,
43:33you can see
43:33any of Ajay Devgani's films
43:35and you will not say,
43:36what have you done?
43:37You know,
43:38like with us,
43:39you can say,
43:40could have been loud,
43:42it's been a buffoon,
43:43it's been a buffoon,
43:44it's been a buffoon,
43:44it's been a buffoon,
43:44it's been a buffoon,
43:45it's been a buffoon,
43:45it's been a buffoon,
43:45it's been a buffoon,
43:47incompetent work.
43:48Ajay,
43:49you will not see that.
43:50True.
43:50Pick the film title
43:52that sums up
43:53your current love life.
43:54Maynay Pyaar Kyu Kiya.
43:57Lucky,
43:58no time for love.
43:59Sanam Bewafa.
44:01Tumko Na Bhool Pahenge.
44:03Yeah, Tumko Na Bhool Pahenge,
44:04so it's out to me
44:05because
44:05now,
44:06every one
44:07forgets it.
44:08Go ahead,
44:09uparwalla.
44:10Maynay Pyaar Kyu Kiya.
44:36I'll just say,
44:39I'll go by with my first title,
44:41I'll talk for myself,
44:43Maynay Pyaar Kyu.
44:47Okay.
44:48Which co-star did you have the best on-screen chemistry with over the years?
44:53Oh,
44:54there have been so many, Lolo,
44:56but nobody like you.
44:58Oh.
44:59Nobody,
44:59not because you're here.
45:01No,
45:01I know that.
45:02Not because you're here.
45:02I was hoping you would say that.
45:05Not because you're here,
45:08I would have said the same thing
45:10because the journey,
45:11the time that I spent with you
45:13has been phenomenal.
45:14It's been,
45:14so there's also Madhuri
45:15where people have liked our chemistry.
45:17There's also three,
45:18I've done two films with her.
45:19There's lots of heroines
45:20that I've worked with.
45:21There's Katrina,
45:22there is Raveena,
45:24there's a lot.
45:24But the time that I spent with you,
45:27over 13 films,
45:2813 films,
45:29I mean,
45:30almost 13,
45:3214,
45:3215 years.
45:33Yeah.
45:34More than many years.
45:35Many years.
45:36If you could tap your card
45:38and have a once-in-a-lifetime adventure,
45:41what would you do?
45:42I'd go to Panvel.
45:43We knew that would be the answer.
45:46Which Bollywood celebrity
45:47would you recommend
45:48for the Big Boss house
45:49and why?
45:49Sanjadat.
45:50Because life experiences.
45:52Yeah.
45:53And if Sanjadat is interested,
45:55is interested,
45:56okay,
45:56and,
45:57I mean,
45:58we all know that
45:59Sanju is very okay,
46:00Baba is very okay
46:01with sharing his life story
46:03like I am.
46:04Everything is open book.
46:05So if he does that,
46:06okay,
46:07I don't think that
46:07there is any host
46:08better than Sanjadat
46:09for a Big Boss.
46:11What's the one thing
46:12that scares you
46:13in life?
46:15There's somebody
46:16pointing your finger at me.
46:17Okay.
46:18Okay.
46:18Correct.
46:19Who is the most...
46:20But see,
46:20ask why,
46:21I mean,
46:21there's somebody
46:21pointing your finger at me.
46:22Ask also,
46:22why,
46:23no?
46:24Why are you giving
46:24answers?
46:25You answered very well.
46:27No,
46:27but,
46:27I mean,
46:28it's just that
46:29you promised
46:30and you didn't
46:31fulfill your promises.
46:32So that is something
46:33that it scares me.
46:34so till that time
46:35I am now
46:36100% sure
46:38of that
46:39this is
46:40for good.
46:41I will not
46:41commit to it.
46:43Okay.
46:43Finish this.
46:44If I weren't an actor,
46:46I'd be...
46:47Who gives a damn?
46:49Ha ha.
46:50Name a celebrity
46:51you'd give
46:51the following advice to.
46:53Neekhi kar,
46:54darya mein dal.
46:55To me.
46:56Okay.
46:57Take a chill pill.
46:58To all those actors,
46:59you know,
47:00who take this job
47:00very seriously.
47:02Kuch toh alag kar.
47:04This advice would be for,
47:06I mean,
47:06kuch toh alag kar
47:07would be for
47:08all the people
47:08who are concentrating
47:09on social media
47:10and the PR
47:11and not on their craft.
47:13It would be for them.
47:14Also to them
47:14that nothing is hidden
47:15in the industry.
47:17It all comes out
47:18and everyone knows,
47:19will know it
47:20or already knows
47:20who's doing it.
47:21Yeah, yeah, yeah.
47:23If a biopic
47:24were made on your life,
47:26which of your directors
47:27would you pick to help it?
47:30Suraj Barjartya,
47:31Kabir Khan,
47:32Sanjay Leela Bansali,
47:33David Dhawan?
47:35Depending.
47:35If you want to make
47:36a comedy in my life,
47:37then David Dhawan.
47:39If you want to make
47:40a traditional,
47:41tragic love story,
47:43it would be
47:43Sanjay Leela Bansali.
47:44If you want to make
47:46this beautiful
47:48love story,
47:49after love story,
47:51after love story,
47:52would be a
47:52Suraj Barjartya.
47:53And what else is there?
47:55Kabir Khan.
47:56Kabir Khan,
47:56if you want to make
47:57an action kind of
47:58love story,
47:59I mean,
47:59of all the things
48:01that have happened
48:01in my life,
48:02except for them,
48:03what is yours?
48:07Kabir Khan.
48:08And depending on
48:09which love story
48:10that they want to make,
48:10so we'll have to
48:12get into that
48:13as well.
48:14but a biopic
48:16in my life
48:17will never be made.
48:19My life will go
48:20to my grave.
48:23Whenever you decide
48:24to do your last film,
48:25which actress
48:26would you pick
48:27as your co-star?
48:28Tarizma,
48:29Madhuri,
48:30Kareena or Katrina?
48:31Last film not
48:32happening yet, bro.
48:33Long time for that.
48:35Yeah.
48:36Not yet.
48:37Not yet.
48:37If your nephews,
48:39Nirvan,
48:40Arhan or Ayaan
48:41came to you
48:42for relationship advice?
48:44Wrong person
48:44to come to.
48:45Okay,
48:46I won't finish
48:46the rest of the sentence.
48:47I won't even say
48:48go to your father's.
48:50One thing you miss
48:52about set life
48:53in the 90s?
48:54See,
48:55my sets are still
48:55the same.
48:58Nothing has changed
48:59on my sets.
49:02I mean,
49:02we still work
49:03the same way.
49:03We still
49:04all get together
49:05even after
49:06to pack up
49:07food on the set
49:09and Aram Aram
49:10it's a short
49:11nice happy atmosphere.
49:13My set,
49:14nothing has changed.
49:16You guys worry
49:17about your sets.
49:18Okay.
49:19If Salman Khan
49:20came with a disclaimer,
49:21what would it say?
49:23What?
49:24If Salman Khan
49:26came with a disclaimer,
49:28what would it say?
49:29Oh,
49:30shit.
49:31This
49:32never thought
49:32anything.
49:33Yeah,
49:34disclaimer.
49:35There's no
49:35claiming here.
49:37there's no
49:38claiming here.
49:39There's no
49:39claiming here
49:40is his disclaimer.
49:41You were asked
49:42this in season
49:43four.
49:43Has there been
49:44an update?
49:45What's the best
49:46and worst

49:47being Salman?
49:49The best
49:50thing about

50:25Well done.
50:27Cajo, vous êtes prêts ?
50:29Je suis prêts.
50:30Lolo va demander une question intéressante.
50:32Je veux dire.
50:33Rancé la suivante en ordre de ses performances sur Coffee with Karan.
50:37Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Amir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhaban.
50:44Salman Khan.
50:45Wow.
50:46Salman, parce qu'il est ici, n'est pas sur la liste.
50:48Salman Khan.
50:48Je ne vais pas vous donner une ordre.
50:50Je vais vous dire que chaque fois que Shahrukh a venu, il a été amazing.
50:53Ok.
50:53Je ne vais pas vous donner une ordre.
50:54Chahrukh Khan, Chahrukh Khan et Chahrukh Khan.
50:57Ok.
50:57Name one guest who sat on your couch and played too safe.
51:01Every one last season.
51:04Ok.
51:05One guest that came that you wish had played it safe.
51:09Hardik Pandya.
51:11Hmm.
51:12Your all time favourite episode of Coffee with Karan.
51:15My all time favourite episode actually is Anushka and Katrina.
51:19Really?
51:20I love that episode.
51:21Now the truth Kejo, what's actually in your coffee?
51:25A diet cola.
51:27I don't drink black coffee.
51:28What would you do if you woke up in the morning as the following?
51:32Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Aditya Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan.
51:37If I woke up as Shahrukh, I would call Karan and say, can you direct a film with Salman and
51:42me?
51:44If I woke up as Ranveer, I would go back to a colourful wardrobe.
51:48If I woke up as Aditya Chopra, I would give a press conference so that everybody knows he exists.
51:54If I woke up as Kareena, I would look into the mirror and say, who is he?
52:05If you woke up as Kareena, you go back to bed with Saif.
52:10That would be...
52:12Kareena I'm saying.
52:13But me?
52:14Yeah.
52:16Okay.
52:17Which of your friends is most likely to escape to a bathroom to avoid an awkward situation or conversation?
52:25My favourite, Barun Dhawan.
52:26Me also?
52:28No, you.
52:29Bless her.
52:29Barun would run.
52:30Oh.
52:31To avoid an awkward conversation.
52:33Okay.
52:33The one film from your filmography that you feel you want to remake?
52:38Kabhi Alvidana Kaina.
52:39Okay.
52:40And I got a lecture from Salman about Kabhi Alvidana Kaina in the lobby of a hotel in London.
52:45He fired me about making that film.
52:48I just thought you should change.
52:49Don't make that film.
52:51Yeah.
52:51Okay.
52:52What turns Karan Johar on?
52:55When he helps himself.
52:57Alia or Kareena?
52:59The better actor?
53:00Alia and I would both agree it's Kareena.
53:03Ranveer or Ranbir?
53:05The more versatile actor?
53:08You don't choose between brilliance.
53:11Okay.
53:12Coffee with Karan without the Khans is?
53:15Dal without tadka.
53:19What was one Coffee with Karan moment that you felt received the most unwarranted trolling?
53:24The Ranveer Dipika episode.
53:26After the final season of Coffee with Karan airs, who would you hide from?
53:31And who would you seek out?
53:34Who would I hide from?
53:35I'll hide from Jio Hotstar because I'm ending the show.
53:39Who would I seek out?
53:40Nobody.
53:41I'm happy on my own now.
53:42I'm happy I've ended the show.
53:43This phase had to end.
53:45The one person who never came on the couch that you would have loved to have had.
53:49My biggest, deepest desire was to interview Shri Devi Ma'am.
53:54And I'm so sad that I wasn't able to direct her, produce a film with her or conduct a talk
54:01show with her.
54:01I'm her biggest fan for life.
54:03Me too.
54:04Three things you can say in the bedroom and on Coffee with Karan.
54:09Turn the lights off.
54:11Rapid fire.
54:14And hey Karan, it's me.
54:17One director you believe is way stronger than you in your craft and execution.
54:23Sanjay Nila Mansali.
54:25An Instagram account you're obsessed with?
54:28Ravi Kishan's anything on the gram.
54:31I think he's the king of virality.
54:35Which words are you guilty of saying the most on the couch?
54:39Conjecture, nepotism, Alia Bhatt.
54:42The conjecture that I use the nepotism card on Alia Bhatt.
54:49The last time you said your naughty playlist includes classical music.
54:54Has there been an update?
54:55Hari Anvi music.
54:56I'm into it now.
54:59Try Bhojpuri as well.
55:00Bhojpuri.
55:02Okay guys, it's done.
55:04Okay.
55:04Well done Kejo.
55:06Thank you.
55:07The hamper should go to her.
55:08No.
55:08Now, I think you both did really well.
55:12Honestly.
55:13But, we have one winner.
55:15And the winner is Karan.
55:17The winner is?
55:18Sk.
55:19Sk.
55:20No, yeah.
55:21Just because I'm here as a guest on coffee.
55:25You gave some explanation.
55:26Even though it was a rapid fire.
55:28I'm telling you.
55:28Just because I'm here on the coffee.
55:30Okay.
55:30Let's get one thing straight.
55:32Let's get one thing straight.
55:33Straight being the operator word.
55:35When Sarmal Khan participates, he wins.
55:38Il n'y a pas que j'ai le choix, la capacité, le charm ou le naturel flair
55:44de gagner quelque chose à vous.
55:45Donc, je suis absolument en agreement.
55:47Let me lift it for you.
55:49Et je vais vous donner Salman the hamper.
55:51Yes.
55:52Merci, Lolo.
55:53Je ne sais pas comment.
55:54Non, vous n'avez pas à faire de rien.
55:56Mon Dieu, je suis très heureux.
55:57Merci.
55:59Non, mais je vais mettre ça pour vous.
56:01Vous avez eu l'air assez de l'air pour créer cette sensation de la corps.
56:06Lolo, merci.
56:07Merci, please. Take a seat.
56:09Okay, this for me, I have to say is an emotional moment
56:13and I'm going to take a quick beat to say why.
56:16For me, I have known Lolo from like the time immemorial, like literally.
56:22And for me to share the first episode of the last season of Coffee with Karan with you
56:28is very special.
56:30So, thank you for doing this, conducting the Coffee with Karan rapid fire round.
56:34It means the world to me.
56:35Thank you.
56:36Me too.
56:36Sarman, I cannot thank you enough.
56:38I called you and I said, I'm signing off.
56:41I'm never doing this again.
56:43And all you did was laugh on the phone.
56:45I still don't know why you laughed.
56:46Well, your laugh was like,
56:47I'm going to be back to you and laugh that you should have to be left.
56:52I'm going to be back.
56:55It's going to be back.
56:55It's going to be back.
56:56It's going to be back.
56:56But I couldn't think of a better…
56:58Karan, you won't go.
57:00I'm going to be back.
57:01I'm going to be back.
57:02You have any thoughts of me ending this show forever?
57:33No, I think you should continue with this show.
57:34You mean to me and Sarman, thank you.
57:36I love you.
57:36Thank you.
57:37I don't say it because I'm awkward and shy and I'm scared of you a little bit, a lot
57:41actually, but I want to tell you how grateful I am to you and for being who you are.
57:47Thank you.
57:47It's now time for the Born Will Unwind moment.
57:50Let's savor this moment and sign your coffee mugs.
57:53Lolo, please sign the cup right next to you.
57:55Yes, of course.
57:55And we will walk to the coffee wall of fame.
58:03Thank you.
58:03God bless you and good night.
58:05And let's go to the coffee wall of fame.
58:18And let's go to the coffee wall of fame.
