00:00Did you know that Ego was lying about being a celestial?
00:02In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he presents himself as Peter Quill's father and as a divine being,
00:07explaining that his grand plan was to expand his consciousness throughout the universe.
00:11But when you compare this with other celestials in the MCU, his story begins to fall apart.
00:16To begin with, the celestials we see in Eternals are giant cosmic beings, with armor and a consistent design.
00:21Ego, on the other hand, is basically a brain that controls a planet, using a human-looking avatar to interact
00:26with others.
00:27This indicates that his physical and biological form is completely different from that of the true celestials.
00:32But the truly revealing detail comes now.
00:34Ego's plan consisted of planting seeds on thousands of different worlds,
00:38and we know that one of those planets was Earth, which houses a dormant celestial.
00:41This makes it clear that his goal was not just to grow, but to feed on something extremely powerful.
00:46And here's the scariest part, guys.
00:48This also explains why he needed a second celestial battery, which was his own sun.
00:52Only then could he activate the seeds scattered across the planets.
00:54In other words, Ego's form is completely different from that of the other celestials.
00:58And his entire plan revolves around consuming planets that house these beings.
