00:07Welcome back to another Golf Monthly Test Day, and here we are at Hadley Wood, an Alistair
00:12McKenzie design, famous for Augusta National, only 25 minutes north of central London, where
00:17we were testing all the latest autumn winter apparel. Here we have Matt Craddock on the
00:21range, and now we go over to the blessing green. What a sight to behold, beautiful autumnal
00:26day. A quick pint before the round has to be had, and look at this lovely, lovely clubhouse.
00:32We're going to head over to the pro shop momentarily, really well stocked, it even got painted shoes
00:37which is a real plus, and now we were on to the golf, and as you can see that is
00:40Johnny
00:41Leafield on the first tee, reigning champion, looking to retain his title. And the course
00:47itself was absolutely stunning, the greens were absolutely rapid for this time of year,
00:52in superb nick. As you can see, it was a really, really lovely day, and the vistas are just
00:58phenomenal. Considering how close you are to central London, you would never know, because
01:02it was picturesque and oh so quiet. Now, the golf was a phenomenal day, a lot of people didn't
01:09have their best stuff on the day, but Johnny Leafield picked up right where he left off,
01:13hitting some superb shots, holding some great putts, and this putt was to win, but oh, it
01:20just slipped past, and look what it means to poor Johnny Leafield. It wasn't to be back
01:24to back, and Sam Tremlett won the prize this year. Here's Johnny graciously handing over
01:30the trophy. A phenomenal day, and thank you to Hadley Wood for hosting us.
