00:00So we are good to go, 24 hours later than initially planned, the last game of the weekend in Ligue
00:091.
00:13Monday night football at the Parc des Princes with top spot in the Ligue 1 table, up for grabs between
00:21Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais.
00:25PSG on a great run of form, fresh from beating Barcelona here, just under a week ago, have 7.
00:42McLeuch, Zaire Emery.
00:50Dway, trying to hold off several Lyon players, looking to go all the way himself.
00:59Forcing the save from Dominic Greif, I think he felt he was being fouled by Zachary Atikam.
01:07Again, Lyon unable to hold on to the ball, it's picked up by Vitinha.
01:12Pretty much everybody is condensed into this area of the pitch right now, except for Matvei Safonov.
01:20Splendid isolation in his half of the field.
01:24Ball cut back with a shot from Fabian Ruiz, sliced wide.
01:29Fabian Ruiz who scored the last goal in the win against Barcelona last week.
01:35I think he should have done better in the Champions League a few days later.
01:40Torres with the shot.
01:42Ferran Torres had a hot start to his PSG career, 7 goals in his first 6 appearances.
01:49None in his last four.
01:52Off target there, the new siding from Barcelona.
01:58Dominic Greif had his left-hand post covered.
02:01That one was well wide in the end.
02:07Lyon getting himself into trouble.
02:09Morton losing possession inside his own penalty box.
02:14Neves Ferran Torres.
02:17And Greif makes the save.
02:18Well Lyon are playing a risky game.
02:21They're looking to pass their way out from the back.
02:25Dominic Greif giving it to Morton.
02:27He made himself available, but suddenly the ball is lost.
02:32PSG very nearly capitalizing Torres.
02:35Forcing the save from Greif.
02:37Now Lyon can maybe do something on the counter here.
02:39Nuama, he's got support.
02:42Looking to play it inside.
02:43It's left by Tolisso.
02:44It's a good save from Safanov to deny Julien Duronville.
02:50And Safanov celebrates that with the fist pump.
02:55Well Lyon nearly doing damage on the counter a few moments ago.
02:59Really doing damage on the counter this time.
03:04Take two comes out to Atikam.
03:07It's a good strike.
03:09Safanov makes the save.
03:10And then the referee's whistle going for...
03:14Foul.
03:15Follow up.
03:17Michel Kang.
03:19Lyon president.
03:21And Mathieu Louis-Jean.
03:22The sporting director watching on.
03:28That part of the pitch.
03:29PSG don't have a lot of space to play with Lyon.
03:32Of course.
03:32Prioritizing getting men back behind the ball.
03:35Frustrating the home team.
03:37Looking to do damage on the counter.
03:39They've come close a couple of times.
03:41On the break.
03:43Desiree Douai.
03:45Douai trying to curl one.
03:48Four goals so far this season for Desiree Douai.
03:55Between all competitions.
03:57Including one against Barcelona last weekend.
04:02Last midweek I should say.
04:04This game being moved to tonight.
04:06And then there'll be an action again on Friday.
04:07Away to Le Havre in Normandy.
04:12After that.
04:13They're off to Spain.
04:15A week tomorrow.
04:17To play Villarreal.
04:19In the Champions League.
04:21Half-time then here.
04:23At the Parc des Princes.
04:26And Paris Saint-Germain.
04:28Pressing.
04:30Knocking at the door.
04:31They've had chances.
04:32But they've not been able to find a way through as yet.
04:36Top spot on off.
04:45Red beating Strasbourg.
04:463-0 to go provisionally top.
04:51Paris Saint-Germain.
04:52And Lyon.
04:53The last match.
04:54Of match day eight.
04:56And we're underway in the second half.
05:05To the penalty box.
05:06Touch time by Hakimi.
05:08And then the acrobatic effort over the bar.
05:11From Joan Eves.
05:22Across from deep by Douay.
05:24Hakimi.
05:24There he is.
05:25The position.
05:26The most advanced Paris Saint-Germain player.
05:28There.
05:29That is often the case.
05:31For the.
05:32Flying right full back.
05:33Setting up Neves for the attempt.
05:36To a.
05:37Ferran Torres from the angle.
05:38Good save again by Grave.
05:40Strong right arm.
05:41Getting tied to that shot.
06:00That's a cap.
06:05Heading for the byline.
06:08Seen enough of.
06:10Thomas Nouamara this evening.
06:11He's had a lot of injury problems.
06:14Last season.
06:16He really has to step up in this campaign.
06:19With.
06:21Swung in.
06:22And met by the head.
06:25Stopped on the line by.
06:26Mika Rotz.
06:27The substitute.
06:29Lovely turn by Durandville.
06:32Cross held up.
06:33Is collected that time.
06:35By Safonov.
06:36Bit of panic in the.
06:38PSG defense.
06:41Who got his head to this.
06:42Was it.
06:43Niakate.
06:44Was.
06:44Safonov.
06:45Half came off his line.
06:46And then.
06:47Hesitated a bit.
06:49Paris Saint-Germain.
06:51Surviving.
06:52From the under east.
06:54Once again.
06:57Prolific.
06:57With Ajax.
06:58Last season.
06:59With the.
07:01Eredivisie.
07:03Desiree Douay.
07:04Great feet for Douay.
07:06Trying to curl it towards the far corner.
07:09Putting the shot wide.
07:11Fronts.
07:12With the.
07:13Pass forward.
07:14And then.
07:15Touchdown by Ruiz for Douay.
07:17Could have been a marvellous goal.
07:19Great movement.
07:21Great first time ball from.
07:22The Spaniard.
07:23Fabian Ruiz.
07:24Douay off target.
07:31Miquel on fixture list.
07:32Is pretty kind.
07:33In the next few weeks.
07:34Of course they've got a lot of.
07:35Champions League action.
07:36To think about too.
07:38Hernandez coming forward.
07:39Miquel Rons.
07:42Miquel Rons.
07:42Miquel Rons.
07:43Miquel Rons.

07:45Miquel Rons.
07:46Miquel Rons.
07:46Miquel Rons.
07:51Miquel Rons.
07:51Miquel Rons.
07:57Miquel Rons.
08:06Miquel Rons.
08:09It's the 20 year old.
08:10Seny Mayulu.
08:11Who steps up to the plate.
08:14Substitutes combining.
08:15Lucas Hernandez.
08:16Domega Hortz.
08:17He plays it back to Mayulu.
08:18From the edge of the penalty box.
08:22It's a fierce slow strike.
08:25Which finds the spot.
08:26In between the post.
08:27And the diving Dominic Greif.
08:33RPSG.
08:34Heading.
08:35For a fifth straight.
08:37Ligue 1 win.
08:37And to the top of the table.
08:470-2.
08:48It's cross.
08:49Cut out by Bacher.
08:51One is Fares.
08:52Seny Mayulu.
08:53Back heels it to Fabian Ruiz.
08:55Ruiz with the shot.
08:57Saved by Greif.
08:58Well.
08:59He could have given it to Miquel Rons.
09:01Ruiz.
09:02Looking to go.
09:03Himself.
09:09Difficult to find the net from there.
09:10But clearly a player full of confidence.
09:12Cliver.
09:14Just on as a substitute for Lyon.
09:16Giving it to Duronville.
09:18Good feet from Julien Duronville.
09:20Tries the shot.
09:21It takes a deflection.
09:22Lands on the roof of the net.
09:23It's going to be a corner.
09:24Julien Duronville.
09:25Ex Borussia Dortmund player.
09:33Pacho.
09:34From the block in.
09:41John 2.
09:42Youngster sending it forward.
09:44Maybe Mika Hutz.
09:45With a chance to get his first Paris Saint-Germain goal here.
09:47Hutz with the effort.
09:48Great strike.
09:50That's why they signed him for that kind of quality.
09:53And he is off the mark with his new club.
09:56With an effort which surely racks up the points.
10:012-0 for PSG.
10:04And they are heading to first place in the Ligue 1 table tonight.
10:1224 hours behind schedule perhaps.
10:16They are going to take some shifting now.
10:24And again.
10:25It's the substitutes playing their part.
10:27Lucas Beralda with the interception.
10:28Comtan John 2 with the ball forward.
10:31It's a great finish.
10:33From Hutz.
10:35And he scored.
10:37Plenty of goals last season for Ajax.
10:41They'll be hoping.
10:42That is first of many.
10:45With Paris Saint-Germain.
10:52Luis Enrique enjoyed it.
10:55Dominic Cruyff beat for the second time in this second half.
10:58And what an impact for Hutz.
10:59Of course.
11:00He got an assist.
11:01For the opening goal.
11:03Now he makes it 2-0.
11:05Interception.
11:07It's the only opportunity perhaps.
11:10And it's Nuama.
11:12To the middle.
11:13It's Narte.
11:14No Narte.
11:16Block.
11:17From Zabarni.
11:18Good defending.
11:22Zabarni the Ukrainian.
11:26Set for a run in the side without Marquinhos.
11:30It's a good play for them.
11:32Which 10 of their players were nominated for the Ballon d'Or.
11:37The ceremony happening in London.
11:39Including.
11:41Ousmane Dembele.
11:42And Ficha Kvarraskelia.
11:44Paris Saint-Germain.
11:46Have moved to the top of the Ligue 1 table.
11:49The quality shining through in the second half.
11:52And it's.
11:53The role of the substitutes.
11:54Which has proven crucial.
