00:01The demographic is fairly broad. Our community dinners, we see very young people, very old
00:07people and lots of families. For our weekly food program, lots of students, young people
00:17access it, but that's a very broad group as well. And our school programs, more schools
00:23have come on board asking for assistance and so we're accessing more students as well.
00:29Yeah, does that surprise you, the student angle and the age, how young people are?
00:35Not really because the economic climate is quite difficult and anybody who is affected
00:43by rents, for example, you'd expect to find it really tough. And so sometimes food is
00:49the thing that they have to give up when times are tough. And so we work in the space of
00:54trying
00:54to help people who are really just food insecure, seeking help with food.
01:00And Rhonda, what are they telling you as to why they're in this position? We know we've
01:04been reporting on it for a long time now. There's cost of living issues, we've seen interest
01:08rate hikes, we've had unemployment ticking up. What are they telling you as to why they're
01:13there? There's not a great deal in some of our progress of personal interaction. But we do
01:22know that people just certainly rents, just the cost of living in general, people talk about
01:29as the main reason that they're struggling.
