00:33Hello, good morning, Diane. Good morning, Proffy.
00:36Okay, Ms. Ina, of course, you understand patuloy yung development when it comes to Artificial Intelligence.
00:42There are different, let's say, comments, reception from the people about the existence of AI,
00:49the usage of it, the benefits and the challenges.
01:01when it comes to Artificial Intelligence when they're working?
We've been here for 16 years already.
02:11Nakafocus kami sa education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
02:58So, we also have programs that enable Filipino youth through our partnerships with schools.
03:05So, very recently, we had our Core Talent Accelerator program and Young Banataw Learning Lab.
03:10Para mas maraming Pilipino ang maging AI literate o ma-increase ang technical skills nila
03:18alongside their leadership and also communication skills.
03:22Okay. Due to AI, some are saying that some of their jobs might be losing.
03:30So, ano po yun pwede niyong, I mean, the advocacy na ginagawa niyong grupo
03:35so that perhaps siguro yung pag-dial doon sa AI, mga trabaho mawawala, magbago because of AI,
03:42anong ginagawa ng field of about this?
03:44We have multi-sectoral dialogue.
04:21So, that is a space we are actively navigating towards para ma-bridge natin ang academic industry conversation.
04:29Speaking of gaps, paano naman natin tinutugunan yung gap between digital education,
04:41So, ang maganda naming, recently I went to Cebu,
04:46nagkaroon kami ng hackathon and seven-month training program with students from Mactan and Lapu-Lapu City.
04:59Is it the hard resource or is it the infrastructure or digital infrastructure?
05:11So, that conversation alone, talking to the local government and also talking to the schools,
05:17it brings to light what the student experience is.
05:31So, there, most of the time, it's really a space for them to, you know, have a strong internet connectivity.
05:44Mom, however, one of the gaps kasi, yes, we have the digital divide.
05:48And then, because of the internet, no resources, cell phone, or kung ano man,
05:54how do we fill in these gaps or how can this be filled in?
06:05how can they adjust with the existence of artificial intelligence when, in fact,
06:09they can't even access information and communications technology at all?
06:13We see this as an immediate barrier.
06:16Actually, that's a first and foremost barrier.
06:19So, when we engage in constructive dialogue with government officials,
06:24they can support the schools and also public spaces para accessible ito.
06:30In fact, marami na sa ating mga siyudad na nagiging priority ang digital infrastructure for the youth.
06:38So, alongside having green spaces of public physical spaces,
06:44yung connectivity is equally important, both for education and also to find work.
06:49Okay. Speaking of education, you've mentioned about the curriculum.
06:52Yes.
06:53Siguro, can you give us, like, perhaps yung ano lang, yung pahaging lamang,
06:57kung ano bang nilalaman nitong AI literacy curriculum ninyo,
07:01so that, you know, people would be engaged more.
07:04Wait, sali tayo dito because these are really very important for us.
07:08Ano bang in-expect nila with this curriculum na meron ng field depth?
07:11Yes. So, we worked alongside with CHED to develop Technopreneurship 101.
07:16So, dito na may meri natin ang technical, plus also, so technical skill set,
07:23plus also the entrepreneurial or innovative mindset.
07:32So, that's one. That's already in place.
07:35We also have a Young Banataw Learning Lab.
07:38So, in partnership with eight schools across the Philippines,
07:42we train over a span of seven months ang mga estudyante.
07:46So, design thinking alongside leadership in the space
07:50and also innovative ideas para sa real-world solutions.
08:11So, we had five participants over, five school, local colleges
08:16that we partnered with over the past seven months.
08:27So, we want to expand this further.
08:29And, you know, it would be great to partner with more industries
08:32and also individuals who have the same objective of inclusive access
08:37to digital skills and wider technology.
08:41You mentioned kanina Yang Banataw, may buka saan.
08:44So, mayroon akong regalo.
08:46This is our founder, Dado Banataw.
08:50He's the father of technopreneurship in our country.
08:55So, humble beginnings.
08:57Pinanganak siya to a farmer in Cagayan Valley.
09:01And he had been a luminary in Silicon Valley.
09:04So, yung ating mga laptop, tsaka smartphones.
09:07So, the microchip he invented, Pinoy ang nag-invento nun.
09:11Okay.
09:11Yes, oo.
09:12Kaya, unfortunately, our founder had passed on late last year.
09:16But his legacy lives on.
09:18And we have a book that honors him.
09:21So, I wanted to give this to PTV4.
09:23Thank you so much, ma'am.
09:33Ay, si Serra.
09:33Oo nga, eh.
09:34From Cagayan Valley to Silicon Valley.
09:37So, yung pagmamahal niya sa bansa, yun yung nag-connect dun sa dalawa.
09:41Tsaka, we are very proud sa legacy in E1, syempre.
09:44Yes, oo.
09:44And Pinoy.
09:46Yes, oo.
09:47Proud tayo, John.
09:47We should be very proud.
09:48And hanggat, no?
09:49Thank you so much, Miss Ina Murillo.
09:56Thank you very much, Miss Ina.
09:56Maraming salamat.
09:57Thank you, Diane.
09:58Thank you, Prof. P.
