00:14Todd let the cat out of the bag before we let go of the line.
00:17Here's your look at the brand new McFarlane toys.
00:18DC Multiverse Gold Label Collection Batman Hush Catwoman.
00:50DC Multiverse Gold Label Collection
00:53Her bullwhip is her main weapon, a long side claw she uses to scale buildings and scratch enemies.
00:59She also flirts with her opponents to distract them, especially Batman.
01:03McFarlane may have had plans to release a hushed Selina Kyle, but shh, he was keeping it a secret.
01:08Well, it's no longer, though, a secret. Now, of course, before we get a closer look at Selina Kyle,
01:12first I'd also like to thank Popeye the Toy Man, a Facebook marketplace seller that I seem to be buying
01:17a lot from.
01:17He actually just got Selina Kyle. He got a hold of me, not necessarily through an old, outdated phone, ring
01:22-a-ling-a-ling,
01:23but he did let me know that he had Selina, and I grabbed her right away.
01:26Before, of course, we also get a closer look at Selina Kyle, let's grab the tape measure and get things
01:30underway.
01:31The figure of Selina stands around six and three-quarters of an inch.
01:35She does. She's also going to work out to be a figure that's about 17 centimeters tall.
01:39I had a feeling when I saw Selina that I'd seen that body before, and sure enough, it is from
01:44a Catwoman from before.
01:45Here's what the figure looks like with the Nightfall Catwoman.
01:47Although, when you're looking really at the two figures, lining as best you can the shoulders is about the only
01:52telltale sign that the figures are using.
01:54Well, you can also kind of really also see where the leg-high boots are stopping on both figures.
01:59But this one also does seem like it's a little bit taller.
02:01Now, that's the same body that also made for a rather short cheetah, unfortunately, by using the...
02:07Well, the body doesn't work so well necessarily for cheetah, because, like, technically, Wonder Woman's just a tall character.
02:12And yet, though, when you actually end up displaying her with some of the more recent female figures we've gotten,
02:18just as an example here, I'm going to bring in Poison Ivy.
02:20We'll also bring in the classic Batgirl.
02:22She really isn't that much short at all.
02:24She seems like a pretty decent size.
02:27Let's bring in some other figures as well.
02:28Here's what the figure looks like with Huntress.
02:31Now, you could, because this is, after all, Hush Catwoman, you could also pair her with the Hush Batman.
02:36I have better plans, I think, but much nicer plans to display her.
02:40Let's just actually move Huntress out of the way.
02:42I have better plans.
02:43I feel to display Catwoman as, like, my go-to Catwoman.
02:46So, therefore, she's not necessarily going to be displayed with this guy.
02:49She's going to be displayed with this Batman instead.
02:51Not coming with a scratching post, no.
02:52But the figure does have a display stand.
02:54I won't spend so much time talking about the display stand,
02:57because I'm sure I know this is territory we've covered before.
02:59Or, it's got the DC Now Classic logo with the much wider border to that.
03:04And, of course, little stars on the side.
03:05I like that it's a throwback to the original DC logo.
03:08And that's all I'm going to say about it, because I don't want to spend the time.
03:10Eat up the time.
03:12I'm sure you guys have better places to go to instead.
03:15In walking distance, there is a display stand peg that can plug into either one of Selena's feet.
03:20Because she does also have, maybe not that small of a feet, but she does have still small heels.
03:25You may want to keep this display stand on the ready.
03:29Or, if you happen to have, like, 10,000 of them right over here.
03:31I don't have that many.
03:32That would be exaggerating.
03:33I hate people that exaggerate.
03:35But I have a good chunk of display stands.
03:37I actually got a big box of them right over there.
03:39Can we see your display stands?
03:40I knew that was going to happen.
03:42Maybe one day I'll show you guys all my display stands.
03:44Nobody cares about that.
03:45I'm sure you'll care, though.
03:46The figure does also come in clue with a pretty cool-looking card.
03:48It does have Selena, Kyle, and, of course, Hush Batman.
03:52I like that image.
03:52I would love this image on a t-shirt.
03:55Now, Giant Tiger is a place, actually, here in Canada.
03:57I don't know if you guys actually have Giant Tigers.
03:59Every once in a while, they'll have pretty cool-looking DC shirts.
04:02A lot of times, though, it's either NASCAR or it's Howling Wolves.
04:06If you ever need a fix for either one of those, Howling Wolves or NASCAR t-shirts,
04:11Giant Tiger is the place you want to be.
04:13This is, of course, though, the back of the card.
04:15And on the back of the card, that's actually quite a substantial read-up.
04:19That just exhausted me, having to read that.
04:21But I did that, though, so you wouldn't have to pause the video and read it for yourself.
04:25That print is probably awfully small.
04:27As an old person, you're probably just thinking that right now.
04:29Boy, that's pressure off my shoulders.
04:33I'm so glad that this guy, as old as he may seem, I'm glad that he did it, and I
04:36didn't have to.
04:38That would help.
04:39Move the trading card off to the side that's going to go inside of my trading card sheets.
04:42The figure does come included with a very long whip.
04:46Does this need to be this long?
04:47I mean, if I was to lay this figure down, you know, they do this sometimes, though,
04:52where they kind of give you, like, just putting in perspective how much something takes up space.
04:57That if you put it head-to-head, it would, like, wrap around the sun or wrap around the earth
05:01like 100 times.
05:02I'm not saying that the whip is so much that.
05:04That's exaggerating.
05:05But I would say, though, you could probably stretch, I would say, maybe two and a half Selina Kyles for
05:12the length of this whip.
05:13The whip also has, I feel, too large of a handle.
05:17That's, I say that now, because, again, like, if you put this in the figure's hands, she has really small
05:22hands to start off with.
05:23And then if you take that much whip, let's actually finish what we were going to do first.
05:29Get this in her hand.
05:31Then from there, we'll talk about what I wanted to mention.
05:33When you get it in her hand, I mean, like, look how much extra whip we have.
05:36Is that too much?
05:37I feel like that's too much.
05:39Which, they probably could have easily stopped it right around there, tapered it off, tapered off.
05:43You're not just going to cut it right there because it would just be a chunky whip.
05:46But if they started gradually, more thicker at the end, and then, of course, got a little bit more tapered
05:52off,
05:52I feel like that would be right around the amount of whip that I would need for Catwoman.
05:57I'm not going to cut that because, obviously, it's just going to look like a stumpy-ended whip,
06:00and that's not going to be doing good for anything.
06:02But I just feel like that's too much whip for Catwoman.
06:06Just imagine if I spent, like, the next 10 minutes talking about how long that whip would be.
06:10You guys would be like, I've got to go check out some of my other guys' channel.
06:13This guy is just nauseating.
06:15It's not nauseating, hopefully, though.
06:16The figure does come included with, again, some scratching finger hands, or clawed hands.
06:21I'll show you guys what those look like right now.
06:24Now, I would be safe to guess that these are probably the exact same hands that came included with Nightfall
06:28Catwoman.
06:30Don't you have Nightfall Catwoman?
06:31She's right over there, but I don't have all the accessories.
06:34Sometimes, though, I kind of put my extra accessories inside of a bag, and I realize later,
06:37you know, it's probably a better idea to kind of keep everything with the character.
06:41And in cases, perhaps, like this, where I would have to say,
06:44oh, here's a Nightfall Catwoman hand, and you can see that they're exactly the same.
06:48Well, you know, I just made that all up.
06:52Okay, so the figure does have gripping hands.
06:54So right away, she has a means to hold her whip with either one of her hands.
06:58That's fine.
06:58If you did want to swap out those hands, hold onto the forearm, pop that hand out.
07:04Take, of course, the hands, whether you're a Catwoman or not.
07:06The rule of thumb still stays the same.
07:09Pop the new hand in place.
07:11Now, I would rinse and repeat the steps, but again, I know you guys have a lot of time.
07:14You don't have time necessarily to be sitting around watching reviews.
07:17You've got places to go, people to see.
07:19But just imagine, though, if you will, you would just take this hand and a mirror flip of that.
07:23It would swap out with this hand over here.
07:25So you have a scratching hand, and then you have a whip holding hand.
07:30Too big of a whip.
07:32The last thing that comes included, though, with Catwoman is a swappable head sculpt.
07:36Now, this may not be the head sculpt that we looked at when the figure was first rotating on the
07:39rotisserie,
07:40but it is technically, though, the figure's head that comes with the figure when you get her first out of
07:44the packaging.
07:45I did sort of swap things first.
07:47First, this is a goggles down.
07:49I'm sure I'm clearly describing things that you can very easily see yourself.
07:53She comes with a goggles down head as well.
07:56Now, I don't think McFarlane is sort of the kind of company that would have had goggles where you could
08:00have lifted them up,
08:01dropped them down, because that would also have worked as well.
08:04Then you could have actually given two different faces, one with the mouth looking like this,
08:09one with more of the sneering face, and then you would just have goggles that pop off and swap out.
08:14But I get that that probably would be a little bit harder to do.
08:17That goggles also, using elastics, would likely break.
08:20You wouldn't want that as well.
08:21So instead, what we actually get is two choices.
08:24Either, again, a sneering catwoman with goggles down, or again, a really pretty-looking catwoman with goggles up.
08:30Now, I couldn't help but also notice that it seems like the goggles are bigger on the one that has
08:35them down than the one that has them up.
08:38Don't they look like they're a little bit bigger?
08:40Not that it really necessarily matters.
08:43Swapping out the head again is just a case of popping off the head and swapping it out.
08:46We'll get to that in a second.
08:47First, again, I want to show you guys.
08:50I can't really well talk about how good the head scope would be without actually spending some time to show
08:53you guys.
08:54It's one of those heads that I have to say looks good from all sides.
08:57It's maybe except for that side.
08:59I don't think anybody really is going to be displaying a figure on the shelf with a head backwards like
09:03this.
09:03But if you have it really the right way around, might just be, might just be, I don't know why
09:08the camera's not focusing.
09:09It might just be probably one of my favorite figures, female figures, that we've gotten in a very long time.
09:15It's a really nice-looking catwoman.
09:17Now, again, like the body, if you were really looking at the proportions of this, really isn't that much different.
09:22Let's get her off the display stand.
09:25I said earlier already that she has a hard time standing because, again, like, look at the size of those
09:30feets.
09:30They're tiny little feets and heels as well.
09:33But the bodies seem like they're similar, like proportionally wise.
09:38It just so happens, though, that because the Nightfall Catwoman does have longer hair on the back,
09:42she also kind of, I mean, I just don't have her completely straight because it seems like she's almost even
09:47hunched down.
09:48Yeah, same figure, same on the back as well.
09:52Now, this one, because she doesn't have anything to kind of break the top of the body to the bottom
09:56part of the body,
09:57she sort of does look like she's, I don't want to say like figure diapers,
10:01but it does make her sort of look like she's very full in the bottom.
10:05Now, with this figure, actually what they ended up doing, though, was they put the belt on her.
10:09If I was just to move the arms out of the way here for a second,
10:11the belt is something that is separate from the rest of the figure.
10:14In fact, you can kind of feel it.
10:16It slides up and down.
10:17The problem I have with this, though, is I wish it was actually one size bigger, just a little bit
10:22bigger,
10:23so you could actually slide it further down because it's really stubborn and it doesn't seem like it wants to
10:29go all the way down.
10:30You can feel that it's loose, but it bunches right here unless because this is softer plastic.
10:36If you were to maybe tuck that in, tuck it in and see if you can get the belt over
10:40top of it.
10:41Am I wrong to think, too, that this is just a whip that's been wrapped around her body?
10:46But again, it just it sits so awkwardly on the front.
10:49I know there's a fix for this would likely only just involve pushing the plastic in and just trying to
10:54shimmy the belt down just a little bit.
10:56But it's kind of the one thing I really don't like when it comes to the figure.
10:59It looks awkward on her that maybe if it was just a little bit shorter, maybe right around here, it
11:06wouldn't look so bad.
11:06I guess maybe they wanted to put it in that place so it makes her look a little hippie.
11:11I don't mean hippie, like from the 60s and 70s, but a little more hippier in the body.
11:16Again, for the rest of the body, you can also see, too, that she's got the thigh high boots.
11:21Now, they seem like they're slightly painted differently than the rest of the body.
11:25Like it's not quite really the same black as the rest of the body above it.
11:30There's a lot of black, though, on the figure, and that really is the case.
11:33It should really be the case when it comes to Catwoman.
11:34There is, though, the coloring here for the zipper.
11:36So you get a little bit of that.
11:38And of course, there's a whole lot going on with the face.
11:41Really nice looking face, though.
11:42Boy, oh boy, oh boy.
11:44I would certainly say it's one of the best figures I would say that McFarland has done within 2026.
11:50As certainly a female figure, too, I probably would say it's one of the better figures we've gotten in a
11:53very long time.
11:55Popping out the head, though, even though this really isn't going to be the head that I want to stick
11:58it with.
11:59I just pop it off the ball peg here.
12:02Take the new head that we want to put it back on.
12:06It's funny, too, that I had an easier time.
12:08I say this now.
12:09I had an easier time getting this head on.
12:11And yet, when I wanted to swap things back for the beginning of the review, I had a harder time
12:15getting this head back onto the ball joint.
12:17Not sure really why.
12:19But again, like the differences between the faces, decide for yourself really which is the better of the two.
12:24It would certainly be a strong argument as to maybe why you'd want to get a second one of these
12:27so you could have the Catwoman displayed in her two distinct looks.
12:31If you are familiar with the body for this one, and also, as a direct to inherit to that, if
12:37you've also been familiar with the body for Cheetah,
12:39which again, looking at the bodies of the Cheetah and Catwoman, exactly the same.
12:43Then right away, you'll recognize the articulation on Catwoman here.
12:46The head being that it's on a ball peg.
12:49So there's a peg here.
12:50And for the few fleeting moments that I had the head off, you probably noticed that there was also a
12:54secondary ball peg here.
12:56And that was a post connecting the two.
12:57This gives her a fair bit of movement when it comes to moving her head up and down, back and
13:02forth, and all the way around.
13:04And like with that body before, too, the figure does have a ball joint at the top of the torso.
13:09So you move that all the way around.
13:10Arms easily rotate all the way around as well.
13:13You hinge out.
13:13No issues really there.
13:15Swivel.
13:16Swivel right here.
13:17And it's a really well-hidden swivel, too.
13:20It's right at the very top of, I guess, what would be her arm glove.
13:24Right there.
13:25Double hinge on the elbow.
13:26I know some could look at this and say, well, that's a pretty thin-looking arm.
13:30I think if I was to see this, for example, on, well, Cheetah, I had a real problem with, again,
13:34because Cheetah should really be about the same size as Catwoman, and she's just way too small.
13:39But being that it isn't Cheetah, and it certainly isn't Wonder Woman, I can get a little more believing that
13:44Celia and Kyle would have more thinner arms like this.
13:48So you guys just double hinge on the elbow.
13:49Hands rotate all the way around.
13:51Maybe they could have gone and painted the nails a little bit in silver.
13:54I don't think it really necessarily needs it.
13:56I mean, they're there.
13:56You can see she technically does have nails.
13:59They just have chosen not to paint them, just only and sculpt them in black.
14:03Legs split out.
14:04No issues, it seems, there.
14:06I mean, obviously, you can easily split the legs on her.
14:09Legs go forward and back.
14:10Swivel at the top of the thigh.
14:12Just a little bit.
14:12Just a little bit at the top of the thigh.
14:15Double hinge on the knee.
14:16No articulation here.
14:18Articulation here, though.
14:19The ankles move up and down.
14:21Ankle rocker back and forth.
14:23And a bit of toe articulation that would be so small to pull off.
14:27And yet, Selina Kyle does also have it in her feet as well.
14:30It's a figure initially looking at that that I thought there was no way that that would work well using
14:35the Nightfall body.
14:37I was kind of thinking, like, maybe they could have found a way to repurpose, like, I don't know, like
14:43the Batman Returns Catwoman.
14:44Just for the fact that, yeah, the figure would be a little bit bigger.
14:48Let's go ahead and actually get her on the display stand.
14:50While I'm talking away, I don't want to be worrying that this figure is going to be falling over.
14:54Get her on the display stand.
14:56There we go.
14:57Yeah, I thought maybe that the figure could be maybe too small.
15:00The fact that she is, though, utilizing the Nightfall Batman Catwoman.
15:06But I guess, like, you know, again, like, if you're looking at the body for her, at that time, Nightfall
15:11Catwoman was a small figure.
15:13But then again, like, if even if I was to bring in the Batman Returns Catwoman, would she then maybe
15:18be too tall?
15:20Maybe she would be.
15:21Either way, though, if you are looking to collect a hush Catwoman, obviously to go with a hush Batman, this
15:27would be certainly a good figure to go with.
15:28But I don't think necessarily that you have to buy the figure with the idea in mind that it's going
15:33to go deliberately with that Batman.
15:35I think really, honestly, even if you have this Batman, it's just a good Catwoman to be displayed now with
15:41her.
15:41And even if then, if you were to display her with, where's my Poison Ivy?
15:45I don't have my Poison Ivy.
15:46Oh, yes.
15:47Yes, I do.
15:47Yes, I do.
15:48Just to move that one out of the way.
15:50Bring in Poison Ivy.
15:52I don't think, again, like looking at the body, she's that small.
15:54If you were to compare what we are getting now for female figures.
15:58Catwoman seems to be the right size, even though initially when she came out using the Nightfall body, I thought
16:03she was way too small.
16:04That's way too much whip.
16:06And it wouldn't be so much whip either had they found a way to maybe put a wire inside the
16:10plastic.
16:11Then you could do a little bit more with it.
16:13You could wrap it around her waist, even though like the belt, I guess, really was her whip in the
16:17first place.
16:17Or you could, again, wrap it around her shoulders.
16:19You could do a lot more than you can do right now.
16:23I'm forcing and fighting, trying to get that whip to work.
16:26In the end, though, I'm going to see if I can maybe find a whip from another figure.
16:29I do want to have her displayed with one, but I don't honestly like the one that she comes with.
16:34I like the color.
16:34I don't like the length.
16:36What I do like, though, is the figure.
16:38While the body is the same one as the Nightfall Catwoman, so, again, if that wasn't so much a problem
16:43for you, the best thing about this figure is clearly the head sculpts.
16:46Whether you want to have the one with the goggles up or the goggles down.
16:49I don't think you're wrong either way.
16:51It's one of the better Catwomans.
16:53I mean, again, we don't really have a whole lot of Catwomans really to work with.
16:56Between that one, the Returns, was there another Catwoman?
16:59I don't think there was.
17:00There are certain characters that you sort of scratch your head and think, like, why wouldn't they have done more
17:05of this character?
17:06Harley Quinn is another one, like Catwoman, that when you just think about outside of the realm of the movie
17:11-verse, yeah, of course, we've got tons of Harley Quins from the movie, but we don't really have a comic
17:15Harley Quinn.
17:16And I know before you're about to say, well, there is technically now a new comic DC Classics version of
17:21Harley Quinn.
17:22Yeah, I know.
17:23I have ordered that one.
17:24I'm just waiting for that one to arrive.
17:25So we have an updated version of her.
17:27But Catwoman has also sort of been relegated to, like, the Phantom Zone.
17:31I know, Superman.
17:32Relegated to at least a place where we never got enough, nearly enough characters.
17:36But as the line now kind of gets to the end of it, we're kind of getting down to, like,
17:40not even a year either.
17:42It's like it's the beginning of 2027 where I think officially McFarlane Toys sets sail away from the DC multiverse
17:49brand and goes solely to Mattel.
17:50It seems like we've almost even gotten the best figures for the entire legacy of this line near the end
17:58of the line.
17:59And I find that somewhat ironic.
18:00Like, again, this Catwoman is, I wouldn't want to say the cat's meow because that's a joke that old people
18:05would say to try to make their videos witty.
18:07But I guess in the process of me actually saying it, I do sound like that old guy that's coming
18:12up with really bad, lame jokes.
18:13Not a joke at all, though.
18:15I mean, if you have a chance and you really have been wanting to get a good looking Catwoman, I
18:19don't think there's been a better one.
18:20I mean, there's like, I think it's like the Mafex ones.
18:22But I mean, look at the prices of what they're going for.
18:25Look at the prices of what this Catwoman's going for.
18:27I would expect the prices of her, of this one, will likely go higher as the scarcity of her starts
18:33to show.
18:33So if you get the chance to grab Catwoman now, do yourself a favor and grab her now before the
18:38prices start to go up on her.
18:40Again, a big thank you to Popeye the Toy Man from the Facebook Marketplace that hooked this guy up.
18:45Today we were having a look at the McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse.
18:48This was the Batman Hush, the Batman Hush Catwoman.
18:51But it doesn't necessarily need to be a Batman Hush Catwoman.
18:54It could be an everyday Catwoman.
18:55And that's exactly what she's going to be on my shelf.
18:58If you guys have enjoyed this video, please, of course, do it a solid and hit with a like.
19:01And if you guys also want to stalk me over on socials, you can find, again, all those social media
19:06links down below in the video description.
19:08But if you also need a fix for more video content, of course, there's always going to be a spot
19:12for that.
19:12It's right here inside the videos.
