00:02He needs to inject his energy while Maranchuk he'll drift central to go and affect the game
00:06It's important that front line they play off one another Chicago
00:09They need to vary up that final ball last week against New England
00:20Atlanta trying to keep their particular train on track
00:25Chicago looking for a result to match a performance and seven days ago soccer time at the Benz
00:34Atlanta in their red and black playing from left to right and the first foray forward in the first minute
00:40for them which finds
00:42Almiron
00:44Jonathan Dean is the other change in the back line remember Jack Elliott missing again for Chicago tonight serving the
00:52second of a two-game ban
00:55Well, I find that interesting the fact that Greg Berhalter has changed both of his fullbacks in our chat with
01:00him this week
01:01Was about getting into those wide areas and he does like to push those fullbacks on
01:05So I wonder if that is in mind given that he's changed those names in those wide areas
01:11Alan's cross into the penalty area
01:13Cleared away by Maranchuk
01:18And because he caught out for a moment and now in bono to bring it away for the five stripes
01:24look at those
01:24Light blue shirts converging on the swiss international
01:28Fantastic tackle from Davila
01:31He's gonna need to do that jay Davila now on the ball
01:33Just be able to stay connected to the back line for Chicago and make sure if atlanta try and go
01:38and transition
01:39That he's back there to put in a challenge
01:47So they trust towards the penalty area back for Davila
01:52Lewandowski trying to get there at first, but
01:54Ultimately again atlanta can bring this away and once more they'll try and stretch the field
01:59This is almoron move on that left-hand side now and cutting all the way in when he's got support
02:05It's zakob, it's in
02:14What a start for atlanta
02:18Timed his run perfectly finished with aplomb atlanta one chicago nil
02:23Look at him nip in to pinch this ball away. That's an important such and then amara
02:28He's quick to go and release almoron who's in his own half
02:31So he's on side but great awareness from almoron. He just drives he used that injection of pace
02:37And once he comes central the options open up
02:40And hakuk the right back for atlanta united he joins in the timing's there and the technique is perfect
02:47Enough power behind that that brady he finds it difficult to get a strong hand to it
02:52And what an opening start for atlanta
02:59Two of the arrivals in the summer in what's been a really a year of two halves for atlanta
03:03This is zinc and argon still out on the left and cutting in onto his right and a little touch
03:08Over the top potentially from hoyas not according to the referee replay is brought you by at and t
03:17Or it's
03:22Now the deep cross hoyas got there and his touch takes it out. There's no foul on the goalkeeper. It'll
03:29be a corner
03:31There's two bodies coming into hoyas
03:34and that little bit of pushing from both players just
03:37Look at the far side around the six yard line as the ball is drifted in it's his own player
03:42actually
03:43Hoyas is junior in the lawn so who goes into him
03:46So good no call from the referee
03:53Zink and argon near post it was levodoski's flick cleared away by hakob
03:58And volleyed into the net brilliantly seletros
04:09A sweet strike to level the scores atlanta one chicago one
04:15A little flick
04:17From levodoski and not the best of clearance coming out, but look how seletros just handles the situation
04:23It's great call from him just as he caresses that ball down and wonderful technique
04:29Just to take that little bit of a breath waiting for the ball to be at the right height and
04:33then get his laces over top of it
04:35It's a sugar is embalo and levodoski the touches so far
04:46None of those particularly key ones from embalo with the 10 levodoski
04:52Still seeking to end a minor goal drought for him hakob battling to the byline
04:59Amaro gets away well delivers the cross good save on the line from brady
05:05That was embalo and it was his biggest touch so far
05:08Amaro finding himself a slightly in an advanced position and great little turn from him to go to
05:16Second half underway from the bends atlanta and chicago level at a goal apiece
05:35And the five stripes going from right to left in the second half and immediately front foot
05:40almeron
05:42Thumps off dean
05:43I mean there's an air of excitement when the ball gets out to almeron who's looking to get forward in
05:47and get into that
05:48Attacking third as quick as possible diaz was dancing hakob crossing
06:01A night where a victory is
06:03All but essential for atlanta united remember they can't technically be eliminated from playoff contention tonight, but
06:11Ultimately, it's a real stretch to imagine them
06:15securing
06:16And clinching a place in the one consistent he's played more minutes than anybody else in the outfield now
06:21This is zinkernagel. He skips away brilliantly. He's got numbers running forward. It's zinkernagel squares it
06:27And missed by Haile Selassie with the goal caping
06:32So middle of your screen center back for atlanta united
06:35What's he doing as he nips in front to try and pinch the ball? He's nowhere near it and zinkernagel
06:40It's a simple little touch from him and I wondered why zinkernagel didn't just go himself atlanta united
06:45They've cleared the way they've made sure that passing options
06:49They're trying to close down down and let hoyos concentrate on zinkernagel mistake at the other end
06:54And it in this time
07:00Megvavishvili is pounced chicago do go into the lead 2-1
07:07Force their way out and hoyos
07:10It's so casual from him that he just tries to put a little of the pitch
07:16And he puts amaro in such a difficult position that nekvavishvili is quick to pounce. He's only just come on
07:26He's not used to these tough runs tata martino
07:30A lot of head scratching but again yet you go back to a lot of new faces that have come
07:35in so
07:36Really interesting to see what it means in the offseason and once everybody's fully integrated and whether there's a couple
07:41more signings to come
07:42If it does make a difference
07:45It does feel like it's a couple of signings probably not
07:49Lots and lots more as hoyos this time doesn't muck around and gets it away
07:54Well for me it needs somebody in the wide areas in the advanced position
07:58And I think alexi maranchuk. He's a talented player, but that the system that you're looking to perhaps play in
08:05atlanta front foot
08:07Injection of pace and energy. That's not him
08:10He's more the build up get on the ball then break teams down. So let's
08:15Zinkanago
08:17And it's just clear from inside the six-yard box, but that's a back pass
08:24Well, because almeron's not on the line and he's off to the side he then has to be 10 yards
08:30Smashed in! Zinkanago
08:33Hit with brute force
08:42And philip zinkanago helps chicago into a 3-1 lead
08:46Touches the top of the ball enough for one rotation and zinkanago then blasts it he gets the technique spot
08:54on
08:55Just roofs it into the back of the net as hoyos. It's desperately trying to come out after that initial
09:00touch
09:01But zinkanago lifts it at the right height
09:04It's the right pace to go thump it in and chicago flyer have a stranglehold on this match. This is
09:10my yumba
09:16Bokasi helped on by meknovishvili
09:20Even in those moments and bokasi there's a little bit of a gap between henke olsen, but he's so casual
09:26With the the spacing because he knows he's got the pace to be able to make up those yards and
09:31clean things up
09:35Biasis cross
09:36And then it is in Minbaro
09:49Perfect timing perfect head out
09:51Atlanta united get the right service and watch this from bia's bottom of your screen what a whip
09:56That cross it doesn't get any better than that. It's got the right pace
10:00It's got the right curve on it
10:02And it's met at the right time from m bolo who gets across his mark and bokasi so well
10:08And the timing of that pass coming in and the run from m bolo
10:13It doesn't get any better than that and m bolo thunderous header into the back of the net to give
10:18atlanta united hope
10:25And that ball dropped it was all about who's going to react the quickest well done to gutman getting across
10:31And detay john wax it off pico and out and with that the full-time whistle goes
10:38atlanta drop another home results
10:50Yeah
