Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party or looking for a festive treat for the kids before they head out to trick-or-treat, Martha Stewart’s candy bug ice cubes are the perfect way to scare up some fun in this video. Simply place creepy-crawly gummy candies, like worms and spiders, into an ice cube tray, fill with water, and freeze. Be sure to serve the ice in a clear drink, like lemon-lime soda or ginger ale, to show off the spooky surprises lurking in each cube.

00:00If you're going to do Halloween, you might as well do it all the way.
00:03And why not make little bug ice cubes to give to your little ghosts and goblins?
00:08These are gummy candies.
00:09It's best to let a little bit of the gummy candy stick out of the ice cube.

00:23Make sure that you fill the ice cube tray just to the top.
00:26Freeze for at least three hours.
00:28Here they are, beautifully frozen, and one or two per glass will do.
00:33You can use any clear liquid you like, but it looks best if it's bubbly.
